The real question here is was this offensive back in the day when this picture was taken? What was the context? Was it part of a comedy skit, part of a play, a halloween costume? Unless you can show that Northam was actually in the Ku Klux Klan or went around in blackface harassing black people, I fail to see why this one picture disqualifies Northam from his duly elected position of Governor.
Jeepers, everyone needs to just fucking settle down, take a chill pill, and stop spending 99% of your lives triggered, offended, annoyed, and generally pissed off at everything. Must just suck to be you.

Every year the black bands that backed us up, thought it was the greatest thing they'd ever seen and would help apply the blackface.
At some point after my graduation a TV station found a flyer with Buckwheat on it and we were on double secret probation
with their LT Governor out raping women it's bad time for the executives of VA gubment
Someone tell the Lt Governor that s woman with an old accusation are to be believed.
Unless it's a democrat I guess.
The Post says it decided to keep the allegation that Fairfax forced a woman to perform oral sex on him quiet because the story could not be corroborated. This strikes many as odd coming from the same Washington Postthat published uncorroborated assault allegations against Kavanaugh during that same year.
We have to believe the Woman, Right?

ISIS has been destroyed by the best President in history. Well maybe not because he's a Republican
ISIS will claim victory over the US and is likely to regain territory as a result of President Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from Syria, according to a new report released Monday by the Pentagon's Inspector General.
"ISIS may conduct opportunistic attacks on US personnel as they withdraw but will leverage the event as a 'victory' in its media," the report said, citing information obtained from US Central Command, which oversees US military operations in the region.
The report, the first of its kind since Trump announced plans to pull all troops from Syria, also says "ISIS remains an active insurgent group in both Iraq and Syria."

Democracy dies in darkness:
So Wash Post, NBC, New Yorker, etc all ran allegations against Kavanaugh w/out evidence or witnesses but this is why the Post didn’t run the Justin Fairfax story: “Fairfax and the woman told different versions of what happened in the hotel room with no one else present...” (1/2)

I’m not telegraphing anything. No, no, no. There’s a difference. When President Obama pulled out of Iraq in theory we had Iraq. In other words, we had Iraq. We never had Syria because President Obama never wanted to violate the red line in the sand. So we never had Syria. I was the one that actually violated the red line when I hit Syria with 59 Tomahawk missiles, if you remember. But President Obama chose not to do that. When he chose not to do that, he showed tremendous weakness. But we didn’t have Syria whereas we had Iraq. So when he did what he did in Iraq, which was a mistake. Being in Iraq was a mistake. Okay. Being in Iraq — it was a big mistake to go — one of the greatest mistakes going into the Middle East that our country has ever made. One of the greatest mistakes that we’ve ever made.

RICHMOND, VA—Embattled Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is fighting calls for his resignation over his past wearing of blackface. He assures the public that he is not a racist and that his policy of infanticide is to be applied equally to babies of all colors.
"When I look at babies, I don't see skin color," Northam told the press. "I just see obstacles to women's rights, to be executed after a consultation with a doctor."
Northam said he is just the target of a vicious "noticing campaign”, where people notice things he did and then mention the things that were noticed. "I was just a happy-go-lucky infanticide governor, and you could hardly drag the press to pay attention to me," Northam stated. "Now all of sudden I'm getting scrutinized like a common Republican."
Northam wasn't sure who was out to get him, but his best guess was "babies”. "I hate babies," Northam said before quickly adding, "but all of them equally, regardless of race."
Conservatives quickly condemned Northam's comments, leading to a headline in The New York Times reading "Conservatives Eagerly Pounce On Northam's Support For Equal Infanticide."

Hey BMOC Paulie....seems you really need to vet the BS on Hot Air....sketchy accusations at best but you believe it like the weak minded willfully stupid drunk you are....
Anyway, tell me if this sounds familiar. A west-coast professor contacts the Washington Post claiming that a Washington-area man on the cusp of assuming an exalted job in government sexually assaulted her years ago. The Post starts investigating but can’t substantiate it. There is, as far as we know, no contemporaneous corroboration of an assault. Nonetheless the woman’s claim trickles into the media anyway as the man’s political enemies scramble for dirt to sink his career at a fateful moment.
Seems the only point Allah pundit is making is that Brett Kavanaugh had the same BS and suffered from it.....brilliant!!!

Big Leak Rattles the White House
February 4, 2019
The massive leak of President Trump’s private schedules “set off internal finger-pointing and speculation more fevered than any since the New York Times‘ anonymous op-ed,” Axios reports. “White House insiders said the leak sowed chaos.”
Said Cliff Sims, author of Team of Vipers: “There are leaks, and then there are leaks. If most are involuntary manslaughter, this was premeditated murder. People inside are genuinely scared.”
Maggie Haberman: “A White House aide is weaponizing his schedules, which says a lot about how people in the White House feel about the man they work for.”

Big Majority Thinks It’s Time for a New President
February 4, 2019 at 12:24 pm
A new Monmouth poll finds just 38% of registered voters think that President Trump should be re-elected in 2020. A majority of 57% say it is time for someone new in the Oval Office.
The party breakdown: 79% of Republicans back a second term for the president while 94% of Democrats say it is time for someone new. Meanwhile, 55% of independent voters want a change while 39% support the incumbent.
Interestingly, 43% of Republican voters and independents who lean Republican would like to see Trump face a primary challenge.
BTW fatty the Ques wouldn’t hold a Rush party that weekend preferring to bring their pledges to our party.

rump Faces Mounting Threats from All Sides
Washington Post: “Trump dealt himself a political defeat with the 35-day government shutdown. He has secured no funding to construct a border wall and is preparing to declare a national emergency to fulfill his campaign promise. He is newly at odds with the nation’s intelligence chiefs and some senators in his own party. The Russia investigation, which has ensnared several of the president’s allies, appears to be nearing its conclusion. New congressional oversight investigations will start soon. And the race to defeat him at the ballot box has kicked off in earnest.
“The challenges mount at a moment when Trump is as unencumbered and isolated as ever. Inside the White House, aides describe a chaotic, freewheeling atmosphere reminiscent of the early weeks of Trump’s presidency.
“Power has consolidated around presidential son-in-law Jared Kushner, a senior adviser who is functioning as a de facto White House chief of staff. With counterweights like ousted chief of staff John F. Kelly now gone, some advisers say the West Wing has the feel of the 26th floor of Trump Tower, where an unrestrained Trump had absolute control over his family business and was free to follow his impulses.”

Trump doesn't understand even the basics of national intelligence.
FBI Director Christopher Wray, CIA Director Gina Haspel, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats. Testified with the truth.
Committee hearing in Washington on Jan. 2
Having worked inside the U.S. intelligence community for decades, I know all too well how much presidents dislike bad news. But when Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, Central Intelligence Agency Director Gina Haspel and their colleagues presented the annual Worldwide Threat Assessment to an open session of Congress last week, they had to stand up to a president who wants only good news, and only about himself.
Delivering the report before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Coats and Haspel stressed the growing cyberthreat from Russia and China. They also concluded that North Korea is unlikely to give up its nuclear arsenal, while Iran is not, for now, building a bomb. The latter assertions contradict two of President Trump’s foreign policy initiatives.
For openly disagreeing with the president — a virtually unprecedented move among recent intelligence chiefs — Coats and Haspel received a by-now familiar response from Trump, delivered via Twitter: “They are wrong!”
The spectacle of our allies openly trying to subvert U.S. sanctions is practically unheard-of.
The episode reveals an administration that doesn’t understand even the basics of national intelligence and so risks stumbling into a dangerous crisis.
I oversaw the preparation of several threat assessments as chair of the National Intelligence Council during the Obama administration. In my time, we provided an advance copy to the president’s national security advisor. (If presidents don’t like bad news, they detest surprises.) But Trump isn’t a reader, so perhaps he didn’t know what was coming.
In any case, the advance copy was intended for informational purposes only. We weren’t soliciting comments, let alone corrections. The annual assessment is made by the intelligence community. Policymakers, including presidents, can disagree with it, but they cannot change it. The fundamental distinction between intelligence and policy eludes Trump.
https://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe-treverton-national-intelligence-trump-20190204-story.html
You people hated it when President Obama would require that his military leadership would have to request permission for attacks against terrorists, to protect our country. You don't have to problem with this President doesn't even spend the time to read his daily briefings.
His intelligence aides would not show his information about the policy he had tweeted earlier in his executive time off.
Wray, another member of the deep state. Amazing how these bad actors who worked so closely together over 20 years ago keep popping up. And look at their destruction of people they left behind only to be overturned later on by the courts.
Big mistake by Trump in appointing him. Hopefully the upcoming IG report fixes this.
@Lrihendry
It was harder to get into the Super Bowl yesterday than it is to cross the border into United States.
Chop up the shit Trumplish.
Trump is so adrift on actual policy details, so sloppy in his thinking, and so unwilling to admit mistakes that he cannot do that. This is a failure in basic democratic accountability: A leader of democracy is so incapable of answering core policy questions that he offers word salad and expects the public to eat it up.

Intel operation against Trump still going strong
There was a great deal of news this past week about President Trump’s audacious disregard for the advice and warnings from his own intelligence community experts. Perhaps there’s good reason for alarm.
But I think there’s one shocking aspect — perhaps a larger story — that’s gone virtually unreported. It appears that anonymous intelligence officials are executing an operation against the sitting commander in chief. It might not qualify as all-out mutiny, but it’s also not all that far from one.
Right under our noses, while still under investigation for allegedly orchestrating leaks and undermining candidate Trump in 2016, some in the intel community are orchestrating leaks and undermining President Trump in 2019.
There’s evidence of the existence of such an operation from the inspector general, various congressional probes and investigative reporting. They’ve alleged, and in some cases concluded, that some top intel officials improperly leaked information to the news media and engaged in politically motivated surveillance practices involving multiple Trump associates.

Roger Stone Attorneys Provide Evidence of Justice Department Special Counsel Leak Ahead Of Conservative Author and Activist’s Arrest
Just over a week after his televised arrest was carried exclusively by CNN, attorneys for the longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone have sent a letter to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees detailing how some reporters may have received an early draft copy of the indictment.
Documents obtained exclusively by The Gateway Pundit show a copy of the draft indictment without the PACER filing number or official stamps of the court, with metadata on the document identifying it as being authored by “AAW”, who is suspected to be lead Special Counsel prosecutor Andrew Weissmann.

Willful ignorance Donald Trump is the biggest mistake in the history of the country.
Time magazine published a brutal report along these lines over the weekend.
In the wake of President Donald Trump's renewed attacks on the U.S. intelligence community this week, senior intelligence briefers are breaking two years of silence to warn that the President is endangering American security with what they say is a stubborn disregard for their assessments.
Citing multiple in-person episodes, these intelligence officials say Trump displays what one called "willful ignorance" when presented with analyses generated by America's $81 billion-a-year intelligence services. The officials, who include analysts who prepare Trump's briefs and the briefers themselves, describe futile attempts to keep his attention by using visual aids, confining some briefing points to two or three sentences, and repeating his name and title as frequently as possible.
Wait, it gets worse.
The same article added that the Republican reacts angrily when presented with information that "contradicts positions he has taken or beliefs he holds."
In some cases, American intelligence professionals have been warned not to provide Trump with intelligence assessments that "contradict stances he has taken in public."
There is no scenario in which U.S. national security benefits from a policy dynamic like this. We appear to have an American president who simply chooses not to believe what his own intelligence agencies tell him and discourages intelligence professionals from providing him with information that challenges his preconceived ideas.
What's more, all of this is entirely consistent with similar leaks from officials who are probably desperate for some kind of rescue. The Washington Post reported two months ago, for example, that U.S. intelligence analysts "frequently see troubling gaps between the president's public statements and the facts laid out for him in daily briefings on world events."
The CIA and other agencies have devoted enormous "time, energy and resources" to ensuring that accurate intelligence is delivered to Trump, an official told the Post, but his imperviousness to such material often renders "all of that a waste."
The Trumpism is a fatal attack on the security of the United States and for which it stands.

it's nice to see that "the triggering" continues.
Imagine, you couldn't even get unamious consent in the senate for a ban on baby killing.
Democrats are evil.
I don't understand how anyone who claims to be conservative needed to hear Democrats openly endorse infanticide in order to realize Dems are extremists on abortion and no one with respect for life can vote for them in good conscience.
This stuff about making the infant comfortable while you decide whether or not to kill her isn't a bolt from the blue. It's not a shocking aberration. It's the logical conclusion of Democrat abortion politics. It's not that much different than stuff Obama said about abortion.
It should have been obvious as all hell to any reasonably engaged conservative -- and most definitely to all professional pundits -- that Democrats are all-in on late-term and born-alive abortion. They only pretend otherwise to avoid scaring moderates away during elections years.
How many clues did you True Conservatives need to understand this? How many times did you have to see Dems creep up to infanticide and then scamper away when they saw too much of the public recoil in disgust? How much abortion money did you need to see flowing into Dem coffers?
How savagely did the Left have to wage its war against biological reality, against humanity itself, before you understood they are deadly serious about their view of humans as a virus that must be contained, about their crusade against the sexes?
Did you REALLY not understand that the Democrat Party is the political instrument of the extreme Left? Are you really so foolish that you believe their poses of moderation? Only now do you realize it's insanely dangerous to give them legislative or executive power?
What's next? Are you going to tell us you needed to see the rise of AOC before you truly understood Democrats are opposed to the free market? You need another few shots of Nancy Pelosi to realize they're serious about remaking the electorate through open borders?
Passive conservatives long ago proved they don't understand GOP voters. This infanticide shock shows they don't understand Democrats either. They don't appreciate the value of what they throw away when they toss Dems electoral victory to score points in GOP power plays. /end
