Hypocrisy is the bedrock of liberalism

Actions speak louder than words

So for those of you who believe that the President is wrong to criticize the media, stand up to reporters, or call out "fake news". For those of you who suggest that the President is infringing on the freedom of the press by expressing his opinion.

How do you justify Democrats demanding that one of the major networks should not be allowed to host any of their debates?  With this declaration, they are going well beyond simple criticism. They are literally shutting out portions of the media that they do not like.

I seem to recall the clutching of the pearls when one CNN reporter lost his press pass, over behavior that involved putting his hands on a female White House aid, in order to hog the microphone a little longer. The liberal elitists believed that it was the President's job to take questions from everyone (even Jim Acosta) in the name of freedom of the press.

But apparently what is good for the goose, is not good for the gander here. Because the Democrats are refusing to take questions from anyone who isn't part of their friendly media. They are not banning one reporter for questionable behavior. They are banning an entire network because they happen to put an equal number of conservatives and liberals on their discussion panels.

Hey anyone who watched either CNN or MSNBC last election knows that the proper media breakdown for a panel is no matter how many panelists you have, you are never allowed to have more than one conservative.  Moreover, it's certainly perfectly acceptable to leave them all out.

Look for the Democrats to go over the top with their conspiracy theory, attacks on FOX news, and implications and downright accusations of horrible bias coming from the "fair and balanced" network. But funny how nobody will hold anyone accountable for doing "EXACTLY" what they criticize Donald Trump for.

But of course, the loss of logic and ability to see obvious hypocrisy is just one of the many symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

They need the news channel holding the debate to slip the questions to them before hand so that can have a dog and pony show and not a real debate.

When it comes to fake debates only CNN qualifies.

that's really what this is all about.

the non-fox entities who will end up hosting the debates will do all they can to coddle and shield the participants from tough, thought-provoking questions. they might not be feeding any of the participants questions ahead of time, but then again, that won't be necessary anyway.

"what's your favorite color?" and "what inspires you?" are hardly questions that will give a viewer any insight with which to assemble an informed political opinion.

the biggest dilemma for the networks who do get asked to cover this is deciding which ass to kiss and why.

and btw, the next time a non-fox reporter comes under fire for something like acosta did when his pass was pulled, instead of coming to the reporters and their networks defense like they always do, fox just needs to remain silent.

defending your opponents who are openly and aggressively hostile to you might seem noble, but it's actually really fucking stupid.

James Clapper: ‘I Didn’t Lie’ to Congress About NSA Surveillance, I 'Simply Didn’t Understand’ the Question

Q: "Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundrets of millions of Americans?"
Clapper: "No sir."
Q: "It does not?"
Clapper: "Not willingly. There are cases where they could inadvertently... perhabs... collect. But not... not willingly."

James Clapper needs to stop making excuses for lying to the American people about mass surveillance. To be clear: I sent him the question in advance. I asked him to correct the record afterward. He chose to let the lie stand.

Guess Clapper would make a good CNN debate moderator, though as well as needing to be charged with lying to Congress. The rest of the left supports him blindly. Good hire there CNN, fits your network.

The most amazing thing about James Clapper blatantly lying to the Senate isn't that he wasn't prosecuted for it, though it's a felony. It's not even that he kept his job as Obama's top national security official, though that is shocking. It's that CNN - a news outlet - hired him:

regardless of your political leanings, you really have to question the motivation and intellect of someone who would embrace such a vile and reprehensible piece of shit like tlaib.

i think it perfectly encapsulates just how severe his TDS really is.

notice the common theme running through all of the democrats cries for impeachment. not one of them has a basis in fact.

not one.

they're all fueled by sheer hatred.

The President fueled and excused sheer hatred.

“I think there is blame on both sides,” the president told reporters that day in August 2017.

“You had some very bad people in that group," Trump said, referring to the white nationalist groups rallying against removal of a Confederate statue. "But you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides.”

You do know some of those Republicans were Jewish.

They were the only ones who could vote in protest against the sham resolution and not be called anti-Semitic by hacks in the media and hacks like you.
