Will Democrats and the liberal press follow their own rules?

For the past two years we have been told that criticizing decisions made by the DOJ, the FBI, or Special Counsel was nothing short of an attack on our institutions and and affront to our American system of government.

These basic principles were so important to the left, that we were supposed to follow them, even when members of these organizations were fired for poor behavior and even recommended for possible criminal charges.

Democrats and the liberal media have repeated ad nauseum that these institutions are independent, beyond reproach, and should be allowed their independence without question (yes, even when accused of crimes). Any time the President said something negative he was accused of everything from treason to obstruction to bad taste.

So now the tables are turned. Special Counsel is done. They found no collusion or coordination between Trump, his inner circle, or his campaign and the Russians. There are no recommendations for any more indictments, and Special Counsel Mueller refused to recommend any charges against the President for what many suggested was "obstruction".

Moreover the top two law enforcement officials in the nation weighed in (in agreement and unison) that there was no behavior by the President that rose to the level of obstruction. The deputy Attorney General has been Mueller's supervisor and privy to this information from the beginning. Rosenstein has been given updates throughout. Contrary to popular political rhetorical spin, this was not a decision made over 48 hours.

The decision was on sound historical and procedural grounds, based entirely on the law, with independent guidance from others within the DOJ.

So now, Liberals. One question!

Do you accept it? Or are you going to prove your hypocrisy once again by ignoring everything you argued over the past two years by throwing a giant liberal hissy fit!!

They should be happy that The President was proven not to be a Russian puppett.

well, one thing is for certain -

the media really is the enemy of the people. that much has been proven beyond reasonable doubt.

the 'democracy dies in apples and bananas' crowd have so thoroughly discredited themselves with their various and sundry 'bombshells' and 'walls closing in' that i wouldn't trust them to give me the correct time of day if they were standing in a room full of atomic clocks.

WP promised he would come back here to gloat when it was proven that Trump colluded with Putin.

I am still curious what percentage of the "collusion" promoters drank the kool aid, and what percent were simply serving it?

Time for a new special counsel to look at the other side.

Trey Gowdy sounds good to me.

Roger said the "glass was breaking" " the noose was tightening" " does were dropping" "bombs were dropping" "bomb shells were exploding" and " nuclear bombs"

So maybe he is cleaning up his mess.

BRENT BOZELL: AFTER MUELLER REPORT, ‘I DON’T KNOW HOW CNN EVER RECOVERS.’

Predicting what will be coming, the MRC President [told Fox Business’ Stuart Varney], “I don’t know how CNN undoes the damage, because they not going to stop. They’re going to continue this. Are they going to say, ‘Oops! For two years we were wrong in our slandering of the President?’ They’re never going to do it.”

Exit quote:

“Half of me wants to burst out laughing. The other half of me wants to look seriously at American journalism and look at the damage these people have done to that institution. I don’t know how they repair it. I don’t know how some networks ever come back.I don’t know how Jim Acosta can ever be seen on television without people laughing at them. He’s ruined. Brian Stelter at CNN, Chuck Todd of NBC. These people are never going to be believed again.”

yeah, they are demanding that a group of Privacy Laws be violated. Grand Jury Laws prohibit the full release of the "Entire Report", laws prohibiting the disclosure of Names and "depositions" of innocent parties in the report.

i say redact it and release it. it removes an excuse from the dems arsenal of rhetoric.

also, don't forget that what we've just witnessed was a failed coup attempt. and there must be a reckoning for that. as many lives as were destroyed by the attempted coup, a thousand-fold must be destroyed in response.

politicians, media, anyone who so much had an ancillary attachment to this shitshow must be ruined, driven out of their comfortable existence and completely fucking decimated. driven to suicide.

drastic times call for drastic measures, and if we're ever going to get these assholes to stop this shit it needs to be with a scorched earth response.

The media's credibility is permanently damage.

No one with sound mind will ever believe anything that is said on @CNN and @MSNBC again.

I hate to sound like Roger but it's getting harder and harder to escape this conclusion:

Trump in a landslide.

Trump Grows ICE.

WASHINGTON — A major Greenland glacier that was one of the fastest shrinking ice and snow masses on Earth is growing again, a new NASA study finds."

But I will make a safer prediction.

You're not going to see WP do a drive by on this blog.

After a bout of denial, rationalizations, and cognitive dissonance James will disappear for at least a week. (Permanently is too much to hope for.)

Dennis will call everybody goat-fucker between sessions at the Golden Corral's chocoholic fountain.

And that homeless old man in the smelly overcoat over there muttering "Orange man bad!! Orange man bad!! Orange man bad!! "
Well, that's old Rog.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday blocked a resolution calling on special counsel Robert Mueller's report to be released publicly.

Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) asked for unanimous consent for the nonbinding resolution, which cleared the House 420-0, to be passed by the Senate following Mueller's submission of his final report on Friday.

"Whether or not you're a supporter of President Trump or not, of what you feel, there is no good reason not to make the report public," Schumer said from the floor. "It's a simple request for transparency. Nothing more, nothing less."

Yeah, why waste time on a stunt.
