Corney provided an account of the dinner in a contemporaneous memo, an interview with this Office, and congressional testimony. According to Corney's account of the dinner, the President repeatedly brought up Corney's future, asking whether he wanted to stay on as FBI director. 172 Because the President had previously said he wanted Corney to stay on as FBI director, Corney interpreted the President's comments as an effort to create a patronage relationship by having Corney ask for his job. 173 The President also brought up the Steele reporting that Corney had raised in the January 6, 2017 briefing and stated that he was thinking about ordering the FBI to investigate the allegations to prove they were false. 174 Corney responded that the President should think carefully about issuing such an order because it could create a narrative that the FBI was investigating him personally, which was incorrect. 175 Later in the dinner, the President brought up Flynn and said, "the guy has serious judgment issues." 176 Corney did not comment on Flynn and the President did not acknowledge any FBI interest in or contact with Flynn. 177
So, to be perfectly clear here, the President asked Comey about the FBI setting up an investigation into the allegations of the Steele dossier, and Comey apparently talked him out of it. At the time Comey told the President that it would not be wise to investigate the dossier, the FBI was actually using the dossier to garner FISA warrants on Carter Page (without telling the President that one of his former advisors was under surveillance for possibly being a Russian asset).
In fact, Comey was telling the President that he did not believe that the FBI investigating the dossier was a good idea, even as the FBI used the dossier to open up both a counterintelligence investigation, as well as eventually opening up an actual personal investigation into the President himself.
Does anyone else find this bit of deception and outright betrayal to be borderline treason?
The Director of the FBI was hiding the FBI's own use of the dossier from the President, was hiding the fact that one of the President's own campaign aids was under FISA surveillance, all the while talking the President out of ordering a complete investigation into the dossier itself, likely knowing that such a direct investigation would prove embarrassing to the FBI as well as former Administration officials.
Comey was misdirecting the President in order to continue down the road of what we all know now to have been a complete hoax and to prevent the eventual exposure that the dossier was an unvetted load of crap that they were using to justify FISA warrants and counterintelligence probes. Either Comey is the dumbest FBI director of all times, or his intentions were at best nefarious and at worst downright criminal.

Nadler now issuing subpoenas for grand jury information that by law cannot be released by the DOJ to anyone. Not even congress is entitled to that.
But we don't give a fuck about the law. We want Trump.
Over the last 24 hours, CNN and MSNBC by themselves said the word impeachment 286 times. That's once every five minutes.
Trump is right about the news media.
Great comment from Rush - report should read that Trump attempted to obstruct our coup.
He's right.
I for one am damn glad Barr is AG and not Sessions.
AG Barr has shownnwhat it means to be a strong AG.

I haven’t read Mueller’s report, only skimmed it very briefly. And I don’t know when I’ll have the time. But one very damning thing jumped out at me — on page 11, which refers to the scoping memos that Rosenstein wrote but which we have yet to see. They instruct Mueller to investigate Carter Page.
Why is this damning? Because the only dirt they had on Page came from the dossier. The FBI, between the FISA warrant and Mueller’s appointment, never confirmed any of the claims that the dossier made about Page. And Mueller himself never charged Page.
So what this tells us is: (a) the scoping memo rests on the dossier; (b) Mueller’s probe rests on an incredible abuse of power; and (c) Mueller’s probe is a continuation of that abuse. I realize that, given the fact that Mueller eventually told the truth about collusion, there is a tendency among Republicans to give him a pass and to rely on his supposedly stellar character in order to turn the tables on the Dems. But this entire investigation, including this final report, stinks to high heaven.
@Doranimated
Other than mentions in passing, there's NOTHING in Mueller's report about the Steele dossier. How can an investigation into Russian meddling ignore a dossier that is directly sourced to the FSB and shopped to the US press in an effort to influence the election?
and The Mueller report repeatedly refers to "the Steele reporting," as if it is just raw intelligence.
This is what the rhetoric by the President caused .
Federal authorities today announced that John Kless, a 49-year-old resident of Tamarac in Broward County, called three Democrats at their Washington, D.C. offices April 16 and left voicemail messages threatening murder. The lawmakers included California Congressman Eric Swalwell, Detroit Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, and New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker.
In all three messages, Kless referenced his hatred for Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar — repeatedly calling her a "towel head" and a member of the Taliban.
He must be related to rrb. "towel head"
"moose limb "
Grand Jury testimony was released by Ken Starr. At least the elite eight should have complete access.
Your ignorance of the law is amazing.
Pres. Trump is going to have a fun, relaxing weekend. Good for him.
Winning comes with perks.
Well Roger...
Your ignorance of current events is amazing.
Do you not recall that just two weeks ago the D.C. Court of appeals ruled that the laws regarding Grand Jury testimony did not allow the A.G. to released any of that information "other" than for the specific exceptions set forth in the law.
What Ken Starr did two decades ago is not exactly the legal precedent when you have a relevant court ruling from the D.C. Court of appeals that is two weeks old.
The three dems have put out a lot of charged rhetoric of their own. Maybe it was their rhetoric and not Trump's.
Home Builders Index rises a full point.

Is that a replay of your last argument with both of your ex's roger?
Yep, while the Obama Radicalized Socialist took over the Democrat party .
Trump who knows unions and the great worker those men and women do has been building relationships with them.
INTRODUCTION TO VOLUME I
This report is submitted to the Attorney General pursuant to 28 C.F.R. § 600.8(c), which states that, “[a]t the conclusion of the Special Counsel’s work, he ... shall provide the Attorney General a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions [the Special Counsel] reached.”
The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion. Evidence of Russian government operations began to surface in mid-2016. In June, the Democratic National Committee and its cyber response team publicly announced that Russian hackers had compromised its computer network. Releases of hacked materials—hacks that public reporting soon attributed to the Russian government—began that same month. The very next day, the Russians hacked the DNC servers. After the candidate Trump directed the Russians to release 30,000 emails
Additional releases followed in July through the organization WikiLeaks, with further releases in October and November.
In late July 2016, soon after WikiLeaks’s first release of stolen documents, a foreign government contacted the FBI about a May 2016 encounter with Trump Campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos. Papadopoulos had suggested to a representative of that foreign government that the Trump Campaign had received indications from the Russian government that it could assist the Campaign through the anonymous release of information damaging to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. That information prompted the FBI on July 31, 2016, to open an investigation into whether individuals associated with the Trump Campaign were coordinating with the Russian government in its interference activities.
That fall, two federal agencies jointly announced that the Russian government “directed recent compromises of e-mails from US persons and institutions, including US political organizations,” and, “[t]hese thefts and disclosures are intended to interfere with the US election process.” After the election, in late December 2016, the United States imposed sanctions on Russia for having interfered in the election. By early 2017, several congressional committees were examining Russia’s interference in the election.
Within the Executive Branch, these investigatory efforts ultimately led to the May 2017 appointment of Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller, III. The order appointing the Special Counsel authorized him to investigate “the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election,” including any links or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump Campaign.
As set forth in detail in this report, the Special Counsel’s investigation established that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election principally through two operations. First, a Russian entity carried out a social media campaign that favored presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and disparaged presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Second, a Russian intelligence service conducted computer-intrusion operations against entities, employees, and volunteers working on the Clinton Campaign and then released stolen documents. The investigation also identified numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump Campaign. Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit
In Helsinki the President said that Putin has denied any interference in in the election.
Trump has committed treason because he is taking aid and comfort from a foreign and hostile regime.
Putin at Helsinki
Once again, President Trump mentioned the issue of the so-called interference of Russia in the American elections. I had to reiterate things I said several times, including during our personal contacts, that the Russian state has never interfered and is not going to interfere into internal American affairs, including the election process. Any specific material, if such things arise, we are ready to analyze together. For instance, we can analyze them through the joint working group on cyber security, the establishment of which we discussed during our previous contacts.

According to Lil Scotty , none of the mueller findings can be confirmed or verified and therefor can be ignored!!!!
Lil Scotty's exact words of stupidity...
So what Mueller is reporting cannot possibly be verified or could have been verified by anyone on Mueller's staff. Rather they are taking the word of Clinton and the company hired by Clinton to do their own investigation into the hacking
Of course its clintons fault....everything mueller did is because he didn't investigate Hillary's server.....Sad how the mighty have crashed.
Insane Roger and unhinged fatty, spend the vast majority of their lives here.
I’m in the mountains, let spittle fly you fucking losers
As president, I cannot make decisions on foreign policy in a futile effort to appease partisan critics or the media or Democrats who want to do nothing but resist and obstruct. Constructive dialogue between the United States and Russia forwards the opportunity to open new pathways toward peace and stability in our world. I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics. As president, I will always put what is best for America and what is best for the American people.
During today’s meeting, I addressed directly with President Putin the issue of Russian interference in our elections. I felt this was a message best delivered in person. Spent a great deal of time talking about it. President Putin may very well want to address it and very strongly, because he feels very strongly about it.
He feels very strongly about it.
He has never ever said that the Russians did actually attack our country election. He fears that the Russians support for him, de-legitimized his election to be the President.
Insane Roger and unhinged fatty, spend the vast majority of their lives here.

How encryption apps put key conversations out of Mueller’s reach
The special counsel repeatedly lamented what he could not learn because relevant communications between Russian operatives and Trump associates had been encrypted or deleted.

We also know that the president will put his personal ego above even an investigation of an assault by a foreign power against our democracy — a threat far graver than lying under oath about an affair or passively covering up a two-bit robbery (the cause of the last two impeachments). It is a declaration that this president will not stop that foreign meddling from happening again, and will be happy if it helps reelect him. This is, quite simply, intolerable. We have a president who is an instinctual criminal and liar, who threatens the integrity of our justice system and of our democratic elections, who is incapable of understanding the rule of law, backed by an attorney general who just outright distorted the findings of the special counsel.

An innocent man cannot believe he's about to be screwed over? Says who?
From my Facebook account.
My thoughts on the Mueller report.
We don't have any proof of "collusion", not even a crime. But the interaction between Wikileaks and the Republican campaign, and telling the Russians to release the 30,000 emails, is disturbing. The Russians attacked me DNC servers in pursuit the very next day.
The last two impeachment hearings were over a second rate robbery, and a b***j**. Nixon tapes were the final nail in the coffin. Clinton was not convicted.
This president has put his personal ego above even an investigation of an assault by a foreign power against our democracy — a threat far graver than lying under oath about an affair or passively covering up a two-bit robbery (the cause of the last two impeachments). It is a declaration that this president will not stop that foreign meddling from happening again, and will be happy if it helps reelect him. We haven't seen a single initiation of security for the next election.
This is, quite simply, intolerable. We have a president who is an instinctual criminal and liar, who threatens the integrity of our justice system and of our democratic elections, who is incapable of understanding the rule of law, backed by an attorney general who just outright distorted the findings of the special counsel.
He attacked the FBI and Department of Justice, and has put his own personal lawyer in control of the Department of justice. He's a clear and present danger to the United States and the Constitution. Our experiment in democracy is in danger, almost as dangerous as the Civil War.
We need to initiate impeachment hearings. Get Mueller and the investigators should be questioned if they agree with Barr.
Objection of justice is not what we can tolerate. His treasonous foriegn policies have to be stopped.

An innocent man doesn't exclaim "I'm fucked" as Trump did. Just sayin'
You fell for that?
Of course you did!
You can't pay attention long enough to read the whole paragraph.
"Everyone tells me if you get one of these independent counsels it ruins your presidency. It takes years and years and I won't be able to do anything. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me." 508
If the Doj had initiated an investigation into the missing email, you would have been cheering from the roof!
“This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I'm fucked."
An innocent man doesn't exclaim "I'm fucked" as Trump did.
As he was informed of an investigation into the Russian intervention into the election.
Scott, why is an innocent person, be frightened by an investigation?
Only if you believe that the investigation is an attempt to discredit his victory!
It's been obvious that he is insecure about the election loss by almost three million votes.
Your a puppet. You have lost your ability to be a Coldheartedtruther. The truth is what he tells you to think.
Roger...
The full quote:
“This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I'm fucked. Everyone tells me if you get one of these independent counsels it ruins your presidency. It takes years and years and I won't be able to do anything. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me."
I am curious Roger...
How many liberal websites have you been to that purposely cut off his quote in order to make it look like something it wasn't?
Every last one of them "know" that you are easily fooled.
Everyone tells me if you get one of these independent counsels it ruins your presidency. It takes years and years and I won't be able to do anything. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency. I'm fucked."
He's denying this happened.
If I was opposed to the President for policy issues, I would not be supporting impeachment.
Our experiment in democracy is in danger.
I have always been wary of executive authority in our three branches structure. The President is the weakest branch. Over the last 70 years, the executive branch has been expanding its authority.
Eisenhower warned us about this. He would be strongly opposed to the President Trump. So did the founding fathers feared the executive branch.
I don't agree with his tax cuts and I favor some way to provide health care for everyone. But that's politics. Your party held both houses for two years.
WTF has he done?
The Mexicans will pay for the wall!
He snuggles with Putin and Kim Jong Ung. He has alienated the President of France and the PM of Great Britain and the President of Germany.
He's a clear and present danger to the Constitution we have kept safe for about 242 years.
He must go back home to the Golden Tower. And screw another pussy because he has money.
you are easily fooled..
The last two investigations were about a second class robbery and lying about the blow job.
It's much more important.
We have a president who is an instinctual criminal and liar, who threatens the integrity of our justice system and of our democratic elections, who is incapable of understanding the rule of law, backed by an attorney general who just outright distorted the findings of the special counsel.
The investigation was initiated by his own actions. Not the dossier.
I understand why Indy and wp said goodbye because you have lost your mind.
I actually want to help you get your head out of your pussy.
Speaker in Name Only Polosi has no plans in the US House going forward. Her party is in a civil war.
So now Denise and Halfbaked are now trashing Mueller and his 19 Hand picked Lawyers for not finding a chargeable crime that President Trump committed.
Kput'z, you are too stupid to understand reality.
I don't disagree with Mueller or his investigators. I differ with Barr is his interpretation is not compete.
Some might argue that verges on a different sort of collusion.
Mueller report finds no Trump-Russia conspiracy but raises questions over obstruction of justice
"The report reveals that there was an awful lot of contact between people in Trump world and Russians, and there appears to be at least some attempt at coordination," said Greg Brower, a former U.S. attorney during the George W. Bush administration and senior FBI official. "One could argue you put all that together, it looks like collusion."
The report says, "The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities."
But it also says that "the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts.
Iys not dead yet.
He's denying this happened.
Either way, demanding that he stated that he was "fucked" because he was guilty isn't what was claimed (real or imagined). Anyone who suggests as much is little more than a hypocrite (as most apparently take issue when others lie).
People in glass houses, Roger...
If you cannot be honest about a simple quote.
Who are you to judge anyone else's "honesty".
Roger...
Mueller spend 22 months supervising three dozen investigators and attorneys while spending 30 million dollars...
and he doesn't argue that "when you add it all up it looks like collusion".
Nope. Mueller specifically admits that he could not find one single American who he deemed to be compromised by Russians or who he felt was working on behalf (or with) the Russians. He stated that there was not only no conspiracy, but neither was there coordination.
He also admitted in Volume II that Trump was innocent of the underlying crime associated with the probe, and that his innocence needed to be taken into consideration when judging his intent.
So if you agree with Mueller, then you agree that there was no collusion and that very specifically Trump was innocent of the accusations.
Dear Roger. I enjoy you loss in 2016 to Trump. I enjoy your Loss to Trump in 2019 ((and your ex dumping you)).
And will enjoy you losing to Pres. Trump in 2020.
Mueller report is a huge nothing, no bombs, no dropping shoes, no walls closing in, no noose tightening a big fat nothing.
Presidential Canidate Pocahountis
"“The Mueller report lays out facts showing that a hostile foreign government attacked our 2016 election to help Donald Trump and Donald Trump welcomed that help. Once elected, Donald Trump obstructed the investigation into that attack,” Warren tweeted.
Just warming up, she rants....
“Mueller put the next step in the hands of Congress: ‘Congress has authority to prohibit a President’s corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice.’ The correct process for exercising that authority is impeachment,” Warren tweeted."
Ok, stop talking and do it, Botch.
And get the cuts in the US House to get it going. Enough talk.

Romney 'sickened' by Trump administration 'dishonesty' exposed by Mueller report
Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, said Friday that he was “sickened” by what he read in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 election and Donald Trump’s attempts to cover it up.
In a scathing statement posted to Twitter, Romney became one of the first Republican members of Congress, and the most prominent, to criticize the Trump administration and the president for the behavior detailed by Mueller.
“It is good news that there was insufficient evidence to charge the President of the United States with having conspired with a foreign adversary or with having obstructed justice. The alternative would have taken us through a wrenching process with the potential for constitutional crisis. The business of government can move on,” Romney wrote.
“Even so, I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President. I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interests in Ukraine.”
Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison following his conviction on financial fraud charges. The Mueller report detailed Manafort’s work in the Ukraine on behalf of Russian interests.

Mueller’s report also laid out numerous contacts between members of Trump’s 2016 campaign and family members with Russians, some of whom offered information deemed helpful in electing the billionaire. It also painted a picture of Trump as a man desperate to keep those ties hidden from the public.
“If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the president clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state,” Mueller wrote. “Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment.”
Romney, the Republican nominee for president in 2012, said reading the report proved difficult.
“Reading the report is a sobering revelation of how far we have strayed from the aspirations and principles of the founders,” Romney wrote.
The thing is, that the description of the investigation report, does not exonerate the President.
He ordered people to commit crimes. They refused to accommodate the President. Some were fired, and some others have been indicted and convicted.
He intimidated people who would speak out and force them to lie.
“Reading the report is a sobering revelation of how far we have strayed from the aspirations and principles of the founders,” Romney, Republican Presidential candidate and senator from Utah.
He clearly violated the oath of office.
The economy does not change anything in regards to office of the President of the United States of America. He has dishonored the office of the President.

UTQIAGVIK, Alaska — Bryan Thomas doesn’t want any more “wishy-washy conversations about climate change.”
For four years, he has served as station chief of the Barrow Atmospheric Baseline Observatory, America’s northernmost scientific outpost in its fastest-warming state. Each morning, after digging through snow to his office’s front door, Thomas checks the preliminary number on the observatory’s carbon dioxide monitor. On a recent Thursday it was almost 420 parts per million — nearly twice as high as the global preindustrial average.
It’s just one number, he said. But there’s no question in his mind about what it means.
Alaska is in the midst of one of the warmest springs the state has ever experienced — a transformation that has disrupted livelihoods and cost lives. The average temperature for March recorded at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) observatory in Utqiagvik (which was known as Barrow before 2016, when the city voted to go by its traditional Inupiaq name) was 18.6 degrees Fahrenheit above normal.
Fairbanks, Alaska, notched its first consecutive March days when the temperature never dropped below freezing. Ice roads built on frozen waterways — a vital means of transportation in the state — have become weak and unreliable. At least five people have died this spring after falling through ice that melted sooner than expected.
“Climate change is happening faster than it’s ever happened before in our record,” Thomas said. “We’re right in the middle of it.”
Hey LO IQ "unknown" (or lo income, which do you prefer as you are dual qualified?)
I make fun of you since you are such a pompous ass.
Who can't even stay on topic. We understand that even basic instructions are hard for you to follow and would give you more slack.
But you are such a pompous ass with such a bloated opinion of yourself. Delusional.
ROFLMFAO !!!
Alaska us having weather, imagine that.
It comes a "news" to Denise.
Denise, breaking news for ya. Moon is out tonight and sun rises in the east tomorrow. So, please don't get shocked, again.
Nancy Buttigieg wants the country to take climate change seriously, proposing a nationwide carbon tax to help reduce emissions.
“We’re going to have to have a carbon tax,” he told voters in Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday.
He estimated that the federal government would have to spend as much as $10 billion to help develop solutions for climate change but said that the spending was worth it to prepare for a “multi-trillion dollar emergency.”
Right, oh yeah. He is all in on the Pink short Bus of Socialism.
