Unless the house committee is given the entire report, they have a very good argument.

Why should anyone trust Barr?

Unless the house committee is given the entire report, they have a very good argument.

The Democratic chairman and the ranking Republican, Nunes, demanded that the committee should get the entire report.

Their might be a bombshell, if Barr initiates an investigation into the investigation, the shit will hit the fan!

White House and Justice Dept. Officials Discussed Mueller Report Before Release.

The President has already been informed by the attorney general about the conclusions of the investigation.

WASHINGTON — Not all of Robert S. Mueller III’s findings will be news to President Trump when they are released Thursday morning.

Justice Department officials have had numerous conversations with White House lawyers about the conclusions made by Mr. Mueller, the special counsel, in recent days, according to people with knowledge of the discussions. The talks have aided the president’s legal team as it prepares a rebuttal to the report and strategizes for the coming public war over its findings.

A sense of paranoia is taking hold among some of Mr. Trump’s aides, some of whom fear his backlash more than the findings themselves, the people said. The report might make clear which of Mr. Trump’s current and former advisers spoke to the special counsel, how much they said and how much damage they did to the president — providing a kind of road map for retaliation.

The discussions between Justice Department officials and White House lawyers have also added to questions about the propriety of the decisions by Attorney General William P. Barr since he received Mr. Mueller’s findings late last month.

This is worse than Watergate, it's an attempt to seize power.

The information that Justice Department officials have provided to the White House could potentially be valuable for Mr. Trump’s legal team as it finalizes a rebuttal to the Mueller report — expected to be released not long after the department makes the special counsel’s findings public. Advisers to Mr. Trump insist that they still do not know many details about Mr. Mueller’s conclusions.

The president’s aides have devised a strategy where numerous lawyers and political aides will quickly read different parts of the document to develop a rebuttal strategy, according to multiple people briefed on the plan.

The White House has been working with the department of justice to impede the pursuit of the justice!

Bingo, I'm old enough to remember when it was acceptable for the AG to be a wingman for the president. Without a hint of scandal. Now if they even talk it's worse thing ever.

But what is really upsetting democrats is that the scales of justice are about to take a good look at the Obama administration and their actions against Trump.

And that will be so painful some will not be able to handle it. Ever.

@PoliticalShort

How bad of a candidate must you have been @HillaryClinton to lose an election that your campaign spent over $1B on which was rigged in your favor by the FBI with the help of Russia? Just wondering

10 key questions
Why did Mueller end his investigation without interviewing President Trump?

What did Mueller find out about the infamous June 2016 Trump Tower meeting?

Why did Trump dictate a misleading statement on Air Force One about the nature of the meeting?

What did former White House counsel Don McGahn tell Mueller during his 30 hours of cooperation?

What are the non-publicly reported actions by Trump that Barr refers to that could constitute obstruction of justice?

Did Mueller intend for the obstruction of justice ruling to be decided by Congress?

Did Trump know that in advance about the WikiLeaks email dumps, or that Roger Stone was in contact with WikiLeaks through an intermediary?

Why did former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort share polling data with suspected Russian intelligence operative Konstantin Kilimnik?

Why were Michael Cohen's lies about Trump Tower Moscow deemed material to the Mueller investigation?

Why did Mueller decline to prosecute Carter Page, Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Erik Prince and others once believed to have criminal exposure?

Ballsless: You don't have any thing to say.

If President Hillary Clinton had declared that Putin is telling the truth, despite the security departments said that the Russians didn't intervene in the last election, you would be screaming #impeachment

Go drink Trump's bathwater.

Mueller report will be lightly redacted, offering detailed look at investigation

The report will show that Robert S. Mueller III decided he could not come to a conclusion on obstruction because it was difficult to determine President Trump’s intent, people familiar with the matter said.

caliphate4vr said...

You can’t have obstruction into the investigation of crime when the underlying crime didn’t occur.

Just like Caretr’s 1968 election victory it didn’t happen, idiot

BTW Reagan didn’t 49 states in ‘72 or ‘76 or 80. It was his re-election in ‘84

It's more likely that there will be damaging information about the President and his administration and staff. They are getting the spin machine running, because it is a holiday party and the news coverage is not going to be listened to by many people.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

I know that. He beat Carter, but not like in 84, 49 states.

His lawyers have been given access to the entire report.

That's not the standard policy. Except for Barr and Trump

Ok, correction, not $25 an hour but $48 which happens to be the average hourly salary of today's oil worker.

Standard policy for what? Mueller took over a counterintelligence investigation. Those exist to inform the President of the United States. Certainly if there were moles or informants or agents of Russia working in his campaign... wouldn't it make sense that the President would be informed?

If it's a criminal investigation. Same thing. As someone supposedly "targeted" then he would be entitled (by disclosure) to the information that they gathered.

Here in lies the problem Roger...

You still act as if a Special Counsel is a magic political private eye designed to dig up dirt. It's not. It abides by the rules of the law set forth and the rules and procedures of the DOJ.

@MattWolking

So reporters are upset because they will receive an on-the-record briefing by the AG and DAG about the report, instead of having to rely on anonymous, false leaks from Schiff and co about the report?
