Let's not forget that you had CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WaPo, Politico and many others screaming the same thing. All of these people are in complete panic mode because they know that they were wrong, and are desperately trying to change the subject from "collusion" to "obstruction".
Of course, the subject of "obstruction" doesn't exist without the witch hunt, and there was no recommendations made by anyone that the crime was actually committed. But that won't stop the stooges from moving the goalposts to a completely different field.

All we are asking for is a 22 month, 30 million dollar special investigation into the actions of the previous administration, regarding Hillary's email investigation and the start of the investigation into Trump collusion.
I think I would appoint either Chris Christie, Trey Gowdy or Rudy Giuliani as Special Counsel and let them put together their own team of investigators and attorneys tied to prominent Republicans.
Then expect that everyone from CNN, MSNBC, WaPo, NYT, Politico, Hill and the rest to treat this Special Counsel with the same respect that they treated the Mueller S.C.

The warning came in the form of a high-level counterintelligence briefing by senior FBI officials, the officials said. A similar briefing was given to Hillary Clinton, they added. They said the briefings, which are commonly provided to presidential nominees, were designed to educate the candidates and their top aides about potential threats from foreign spies.

You also apparently live under the delusion that these people have not already been investigated. An Inspector General has all the internal power in the world to investigate.
But he cannot bring criminal charges.
If the independent IG (Horowitz who was nominated and confirmed under Obama) recommends criminal referrals against people within the FBI and DOJ over their behavior in these investigations...

Interesting, indeed.
The DNC and Hillary both got their servers hacked.
And never turned the servers into the FBI after it happened.
On the flip side
Attempts to hack RNC and Trump campaigns servers were made (FBI was given access and confirmed)... but were unsuccessful.
So I guess one side (RNC and Trump) listened.
The other side was too proud and stubborn to do anything, including keeping their servers from the FBI and hiring a third Party security team to investigate.
