2. Nobody is talking about putting anyone to death. Being called a traitor is a common occurrence with a word that has a broad and general definition.
Which is why the Constitution dlibertly and narowally defined if for purposes of criminal prosecution.
And it's why Treason is the only crime defined in the Constitution.

It's become clear that if you come out in opposition to the President, he will use the powers granted by the Constitution to prosecute them for treason.
He will use the same power to investigate and prosecute the members of the Congress to investigate and determine reasonable doubt and prosecute them for treason.
