When I just happened to turn on my TV that morning (which I did not normally do at that time) and saw the billowing smoke with the headline, USA Under Attack, I immediately feared that something I had long feared had happened: That New York City had come under attack from a small nuclear bomb ("suitcase bomb"). I was actually relieved soon to learn that less than hundreds of thousands or even a few million deaths had occurred.
For the Socialist Democrats it is Impossible during the Lost Years and now "On this date Islamic extremists declared war on the United States with a surprise attack.
9/11 was 18 years ago. I was driving to work in Pasadena California on the 605 Freeway heading to work. I wonder what the hell? Then I heard that the second attack on the Golden Towers. I knew it was a terrorist attack.
