Democrats pivot again...

Will anyone really know at this point what is going on?

So Fat Jerry Nadler and his House Judiciary committee has been running impeachment inquiries for some time. It's thought to have something to do with the Mueller report (possibly volume II) but nobody seems really sure.

Now Nancy Pelosi has announced that the full House will also start impeachment "inquiries" which are not to be confused with an actual full blown impeachment hearing that ultimately results in an impeachment vote. Pelosi has been more than careful to not push this thing to that particular brink (at least so far). It's all still a fake deal, far short of what we have seen in previous real and actual impeachment hearings.

But these new announced impeachment inquiries (coming on the heels of the recent brush up over Ukrainian conversations and some unknown "whistle blower" compliant) seem to imply that Pelosi made this decision to investigate these recent events as the main articles of impeachment. Otherwise, it would only appear to be a duplication of what is already being done by Fat Nadler.

The reality is that the Country has long moved on from the whole Russia thing. It was a grand and glorious bust for the Democrats, and the only thing it accomplished was to forever tarnish the reputation of Robert Mueller. The fact that the House Judiciary committee attempted to make fodder of the allegations of obstruction (regarding an investigation that uncovered no crimes of any sort) has fallen on deaf ears.

So now the gambit from the left is that the general public will really care a lot about this next thing, which at this point, we really don't know what it even is. In what has to be likely the dumbest political move "eva" the House members pressured Pelosi to make a call the day before they apparently will actually see the information that they want to impeach the President over.

Act now... then look at the evidence and see if your decision was good or bad in hindsight? I mean, they couldn't wait a day, two days, or even a week to see for sure what this was all about? Nope. Toddlers have no patience.

The President is acting rather confident that the release of these transcripts along with the rumored release of additional transcripts from Obama and Biden (ideally released at the same time) will blunt most of this. The whistle blower complaint at best will simply reinforce what is already alleged (which isn't much) but at worse will reinforce the criticism that he/she didn't have any first hand knowledge of anything.

The fact that the Whistle blower is being represented by partisan Democratic attorneys is similar to what happened with the whole Kavanaugh hearing. It immediately makes the entire allegation appear political and partisan. Would have been much better off coming forward without "any" counsel than come forward with liberal counsel tied to Clinton, Schumer and others.

Unless the transcripts literally show the President making threats to withhold aid in exchange for reopening the investigation, there is no "there there". The Democrats cannot continue to lower the bar to the point where they suggest that an Administration cannot ask questions about possible wrongdoings of American Politicians. Especially in light of the video of Biden admitting to coercion and the fact that the investigator who was on the Hunter Biden case still suggests that his investigation was stopped in midstream and shut down illegally.

There is no reasonable intellectually honest way to fool anyone long term with semantic tricks of simply renaming actions into something else. You cannot simply call something election meddling when it's not election meddling and you cannot deem election meddling a crime without defining the actual law that is being broken. Perfectly constitutional and legal actions do not become crimes because you call it as such.

The British are fortunate in that they have a Supreme Court that is letting their would-be dictator know that he will not be allowed to get away with it. Our own Supreme Court has been so corrupted now that we are not in so fortunate a position. There is still hope, however, that we the people may hope to be protected by our Representatives.

In the case of impeachment, "Perfectly constitutional and legal actions do not become crimes because you call it as such." is irrelevant.

The House of Representatives will determine if the President committed high crime and misdemeanors.

The transcripts may be controversial because they will probably be reviewed by the President, prior to their release to the public and the house committees.

You use of Fat Jerry Nadler makes you look like a deeply partisan person who doesn't want to be objective and logical.

One good thing that is coming out of this huge bungling of our "president" is the strengthening of the hands Ocasio-Cortez. Her voice will now be heard more and authoritatively and authentically on all levels, not just her insistence that it was already getting to be high time to do serious investigations possibly leading to impeachment, but also her call for a discussion of the ideas in the Green New Deal (the national conversation being what she is most interested in). You might say that Trump is just one more glacier that is beginning to melt.

Trump Thought He Had Headed Off Impeachment
September 25, 2019 at 9:18 am EDT

“President Trump was incredulous Tuesday as he sat in Trump Tower and watched House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announce she was launching a formal impeachment inquiry against him,” CNN reports.

“Sitting in the same building where he launched his long shot presidential campaign four years ago, Trump said he couldn’t believe it, he later told people.

“He had felt confident after phoning Pelosi earlier that morning. The drive for impeachment in her caucus had ramped up amid reports he pushed the Ukrainian President to investigate Joe Biden, and Trump was hoping to head off a clash. He figured he could de-escalate tensions by speaking with her directly.”

He has another think coming.

There Will Be an Impeachment Vote

Playbook: “The Judiciary Committee now is all but guaranteed to report out an impeachment package in the next few months — a set of articles charging the president with high crimes and misdemeanors. Our colleague John Bresnahan has been saying this for months, and our reporting shows that it’s true: If the House starts impeachment proceedings — hearings and the like, as they are — it will end up voting on impeachment articles on the House floor. Period.

“So, the full House will get a chance this year to cast a vote or a set of votes about whether the president committed crimes worthy of his removal.”

If you are wondering whether Democrats and media tried to turn a DOJ investigation into foreign election interference into an impeachable crime as a way of distracting from coming bombshells on Obama FISA abuses, then answer is yes.

-------------------------------

A review of the transcript of the phone call between Trump and the Ukrainian president shows that Trump asked Zelensky to cooperate with DOJ’s probe of Ukraine’s role in 2016 foreign election interference. That’s what Democrats are furious about. Story coming shortly..

-------------------------------

The transcript shows that Trump mentioned Biden and his son only once, and that there was zero discussion whatsoever of connecting financial aid to an investigation of Hunter Biden’s controversial Ukrainian energy business or the prosecutor who was fired while investigating it.

Transcript Shows Trump Offering Assistance for Biden Probe

“President Trump told his Ukrainian counterpart to work with the U.S. attorney general to investigate the conduct of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and offered to meet with the foreign leader at the White House after he promised to conduct such an inquiry, according to a newly-released transcript of the call,” the Washington Post reports.

“Those statements and others in a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were so concerning that the intelligence community inspector general thought them a possible violation of campaign finance law.

“In late August, intelligence officials referred the matter to the Justice Department as a possible crime, but prosecutors concluded last week that the conduct was not criminal.”

We shall see, we shall see.

Trump Insists Impeachment Is Good for Him Politically

Associated Press: “The product of Trump’s norm-breaking presidency and Democrats’ lingering anger over the outcome of the 2016 election, the impeachment inquiry has largely been welcomed by the Republican president’s advisers, who believe it could backfire against Democrats. The president himself said the move could help his electoral chances, but he reacted in the moment with a cascade of angry tweets that accused Democrats of engaging in ‘a witch hunt’ and ‘presidential harassment.'

“A short time earlier, as word of Pelosi’s decision first emerged, an agitated Trump sized up the politics of the moment and the developments that have quickly enveloped his presidency since it was revealed that a whistleblower complaint accused him of pressuring the leader of Ukraine to dig up damaging material about political foe Joe Biden’s family.”

Said Trump: “They’re going to lose the election, and they figure this is a thing to do. If she does that, they all say that’s a positive for me, for the election.”

Someone is in for a rude awakening.

Will Impeachment Affect the Elections?

Jonathan Bernstein: “So far, President Donald Trump is unpopular – and, polls say, so is impeachment. I expect the latter to change. The more that highly visible Democrats are united in favor of impeachment, the more that Democratic voters and independents who dislike Trump will likely shift toward their position. I wouldn’t be surprised if that shift happens rapidly, at least if the news media gives saturation coverage to the story and voters start to learn more about it.

“I think it’s a lot less likely that Trump’s popularity will change. Yes, President Richard Nixon’s approval ratings dropped dramatically over the course of the Watergate scandal. But there are a lot of differences, starting with the fact that Trump has a lot less ground to lose. It’s possible that new facts could push mild Trump supporters into being mild Trump opponents (and so on for other levels of support), but I wouldn’t count on a lot of that. What really could hurt Trump would be if numerous high-profile Republicans turned against him. That’s unlikely, because those Republicans know that the less popular Trump is, the worse off all party candidates will be in the next election. But if Trump’s approval ratings are going be harmed, that’s how it’ll happen."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took the extraordinary step Tuesday of initiating impeachment proceedings against President Trump, accusing him of violating the Constitution in seeking help from a foreign leader to damage a political opponent.

Under the Constitution The House of Representatives will determine if the President committed high crime and misdemeanors.

Impeachment is a political process, not a legal process. If the highly edited transcript shows that the President didn't exactly solicit dirt, the house committee hearings will be "interesting".

The President is going to attempt to implement executive privilege on every single person the house committee will subpoena. Over 207 at last count, support the hearings.

In an almost unexpected resolution, past a unanimous non binding request for the whistleblower report. 100-0.

We have a President who has said that he can do whatever he wants to do. Bluntly speaking, this is an assault upon the Constitution, that created three co equal branches of government. This President is seeking powers above and beyond executive privilege. The House of Representatives is obligated to determine if the President has committed high crime and misdemeanors given his extraordinary attempt to make the President, the virtue dictator, who does not have the answer to any other branch of the government.

We will see what happens.

Trump to Meet with Ukraine President

“President Trump is set to meet face to face with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine for the first time today at the UN General Assembly — right as the House is launching an impeachment inquiry around his July phone call with Zelensky,” Axios reports.

Trump is then scheduled to hold a press conference at 4 p.m. ET.

What do you want to bet Trump asks, "You don't happen to have an actual RECORDING of that conversation, do you, Volodymir?"

Crowdstrike was hired by DNC through Perkins Coie (same law firm that retained Fusion for DNC) to “examine” DNC server. It is the only analysis that claimed Russian hackers accessed DNC server. That report was relied on by Comey FBI and cited in Brennan’s Jan 2017 IC report...
-------------------------
Remember that Comey never acquired DNC server but claimed Crowdstrike was reliable. Brennan lifted lots of vague info from Crowdstrike “report” for the sketchy IC report that Russia hacked the election to help Trump

@EmeraldRobinson

In the July 25th phone call to Ukraine, President Trump asked Ukraine's President to look into a company called Crowdstrike.
-------------------------------------------------

Wonder if Crowdstrike was really protecting Hillary and used to setup Trump ?????????

Fascinating !!!

Key takeaways from this:

-POTUS asked Ukraine to help w/ Russia hoax probe
-This could implicate DNC, Clinton, & key Obama IC chiefs
-That's why the Left is running info ops trying to get on offense
-Aforementioned parties want to stop the investigation

Did I say it was a beautiful morning ???
