Milbank is making the argument that the more Democrats call Trump a racist, the more likely a bunch of marginal voters will show up and vote for him next November. And we can’t have that, can we?
Dana Milbank lacks the self awareness to consider why calling Trump a racist would drive "marginal voters" to him. If he did, he would know the charge is false, unfair and malicious and voters instinctively know this.
Robert Reich: “I think we have to face the truth that no one seems to want to admit. This is no longer a case of excessive narcissism or grandiosity. We’re not simply dealing with an unusually large ego.”
“The president of the United States is seriously, frighteningly, dangerously unstable. And he’s getting worse by the day.”
“Such a person in the Oval Office can do serious damage.”
“What to do? We can vote him out of office in 14 months’ time. But he could end the world in seven and a half seconds.”
Bolton Resigned Over Trump Easing Sanctions on Iran
Former national security adviser John Bolton resigned the day after a Monday discussion about Iran policy in which President Trump raised the possibility of relieving some sanctions, a person close to Bolton tells Axios.
“Two New York Times reporters say they’ve uncovered a previously unreported account of sexual misconduct allegedly carried out by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh when he was a student at Yale,” the HuffPost reports.
“In an op-ed for the Times, Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly said they learned of the alleged misconduct during a 10-month investigation of Kavanaugh’s life at prep-school and Yale, including the assault accusations, for their upcoming book, The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation.”
“Max Stier, Kavanaugh’s classmate at Yale, told the reporters that he once saw Kavanaugh with his pants down while his friends pushed his penis into the hands of a female student during a dorm party.”

There's nothing new, it's the same same de-bunked, dis-credited story that popped up during the hearings. It was a disgraceful hit piece by the New York Times.
I'm not surprised you brought it up James since you regularly repeat lies and slander.
So here comes Mr. Stier, a well connected nonprofit CEO in Washington DC, formerly employed on congressman Jim Leach's personal staff, former clerk for Justice David Souter. We're supposed to believe that someone like that made an accusation like this, and it never made the light of day, no one investigated it, leaked it, called for testimony, or anything else? This smells like a blatant political hit job. Even James should be a little skeptical.
Unlike Christine Blasey Ford, who said Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her in high school, Ramirez did not testify in the confirmation hearings. With the Republican majority on the Senate Judiciary Committee focused on pushing Kavanaugh through, Pogrebin and Kelly reported, the investigation into claims against Kavanaugh failed to follow up on dozens of possible leads:
Ms. Ramirez’s legal team gave the F.B.I. a list of at least 25 individuals who may have had corroborating evidence. But the bureau — in its supplemental background investigation — interviewed none of them, though we learned many of these potential witnesses tried in vain to reach the F.B.I. on their own.
Two F.B.I. agents interviewed Ms. Ramirez, telling her that they found her “credible.” But the Republican-controlled Senate had imposed strict limits on the investigation. “‘We have to wait to get authorization to do anything else,’” Bill Pittard, one of Ms. Ramirez’s lawyers, recalled the agents saying. “It was almost a little apologetic.”
MS. Ramirez? I thought we were discussing Mr. Stier. You really think difi, Spartacus or kamala wouldn't find a way to leak this during the hearings? Something like this from someone like him would not have stayed hidden.

Sean Davis Retweeted Clara Jeffery:
Is that the same Max Stier who was one of Clinton’s defense attorneys? Yes, yes it is. ____________________________
What an amazing coincidence. Democrats always appear capable of selling their souls to the devil. And isn't it also amazing that Christine Blasey Ford's own father supported Kavanaugh through the entire confirmation process and still does?

The Ramirez/Kavanaugh story completely fell apart under scrutiny and the reporters who wrote it despite embarrassing sourcing took major reputations hits.
That it still somehow found it’s way into a book with even the slightest editing and scrutiny is shocking.
another FAKE NEWS hit job. and something for the "pastor" to slander with, without owning up to any responsibility for spreading it.

The Education of Brett Karanaugh: An Investigation.
From New York Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, a deeper look at the formative years of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his confirmation.
In September 2018, the F.B.I. was GIVEN ONLY A WEEK to investigate allegations of sexual misconduct against Brett Kavanaugh, President Trump's Supreme Court nominee. But even as Kavanaugh was sworn in to his lifetime position, many questions remained unanswered, leaving millions of Americans unsettled.
During the Senate confirmation hearings that preceded the bureau's brief probe, New York Times reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly broke critical stories about Kavanaugh's past, including the "Renate Alumni" yearbook story. They were inundated with tips from former classmates, friends, and associates that COULDN'T BE FULLY INVESTGATED before the confirmation process closed. Now, their book fills in the blanks and explores the essential question: Who is Brett Kavanaugh?
The Education of Brett Kavanaugh paints a picture of the prep-school and Ivy-League worlds that formed our newest Supreme Court Justice. By offering commentary from key players from his confirmation process WHO HAVEN'T YET SPOKEN PUBLICLY and pursuing lines of inquiry THAT WERE LEFT HANGING, it will be essential reading for anyone who wants to understand our political system and Kavanaugh's unexpectedly emblematic role in it.
The accusation against Justice Kavanaugh is just another example of how far @TheDemocrats have veered away from common sense and fair play. They know it's a lie & they KNEW Blasey Ford was lying, BUT THEY DON'T CARE! They'll do or say anything for votes!
As I am heading out the door, I am reminded that one of the big differences between Democrats and Republicans is this: Dems will often reluctantly admit sexual mis-steps. Repugs almost never.
Ms. Ramirez’s legal team gave the F.B.I. a list of at least 25 individuals who may have had corroborating evidence. But the bureau — in its supplemental background investigation
When Blasey Ford's own attorney admitted that "this was about abortion" that should have been the ball game.
should have been. but that's the thing about the rabid left. they're insane and they'll stop at nothing to get what they want. the truth is always a casualty in their pursuit of power.
Yes, but it's so transparently craven the you would think even the dumbest most disengage voter would get it.
yep. you would think.
but remember, we got 8 long disastrous years of 0linsky on the promise of hopey changey made in front of styrofoam greek columns.
and the 'dumbest and most disengaged' were in tears that night, fawning over a preening asshat so completely full of shit pulling the greatest con ever seen on our nation, while our "betters" were enamored by the crease in the guy's trousers.
I remember an Obama rally in my city was televised and a retired, white school teacher screamed "I love you Barack" and I was thinking to myself "Oh brother!!".
This would be funny if it wasn't an "Oh brother" moment every single day here.
This would be funny if it weren't so serious.
Trump's trade war could devastate the American economy.
A nuclear armed Iran would be bad for everyone.
A North Korea that is ramping up its nuclear program is bad for everyone. And that the guy who sits at the big desk in the Oval Office is a deeply stupid man who routinely gets his ass kicked on the world stage also is bad for everyone.
Except for those foreign leaders who routinely kick his ass.
Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Now the Radical Left Democrats and their Partner, the LameStream Media, are after Brett Kavanaugh again, talking loudly of their favorite word, impeachment. He is an innocent man who has been treated HORRIBLY. Such lies about him. They want to scare him into turning Liberal!

He's beginning to panic. The economy is probably going to go into a recession.
The drone strikes are going to increase gasoline prices quickly.
Now he's threatening to use the Department of Justice to sue the Fake News New York Times newspaper for slander. An attack on the First Amendment rights.
Roger Amick said... He's beginning to panic. The economy is probably going to go into a recession.
Well I guess things are going much better since you were saying 3 years ago his election was going to crash the markets, destroy the economy and he really didn't want to be president.
And boy have a lot of shoes dropped, walls closed in and "the end is near" since then. Someone indeed did panic but it wasn't the president.
The book notes, quietly, that the woman Max Stier named as having been supposedly victimized by Kavanaugh and friends denies any memory of the alleged event. Seems, I don’t know, significant.
And a few of those rape apologists that were at Anita Hill's hearing are still around chastising Dr Christine Blasey Ford, victimizing her, doubting her & scolding @SenFeinstein
I've had it with these sexists, chauvinistic, misogynists POS.

That would include her own father (who knows her best) he thought Kavenaugh should be confirmed.
Kamala Harris ✔ @KamalaHarris I sat through those hearings. Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people. He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice.
I listened to ted cruz earlier on how great a job the senate did on the brett hearings...!!!!!! that everyone was interviewed and the proceedings were fair.....I had to pinch myself as Lying ted now completely backs trump because of the great things he has done!!!! Didn't ted once call trump a pathological liar and now on his knees taking it up the ass just like the goat fucker....Sad how trump destroys every shred of integrity his followers have!!!!!
reminded people today just how sleazy the media and the Democrats have become.
What it reminded me was how far to the right the senate will go and lie to get their asshole on the court.....the hearings were a sham, just like trump!!!!
Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., called for Kavanaugh's impeachment.
"Last year the Kavanaugh nomination was rammed through the Senate without a thorough examination of the allegations against him. Confirmation is not exoneration, and these newest revelations are disturbing. Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached,"
I was impressed by O'Rourke on Meet The Press today. He stood by his policy to confiscate the weapons of war. He didn't flinch, despite the risks to his campaign.

Blogger Roger Amick said... I was impressed by O'Rourke on Meet The Press today. He stood by his policy to confiscate the weapons of war. He didn't flinch, despite the risks to his campaign
Well it was impressive that he single-handedly lost Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania' for the Democrats.
As far as his campaign is concerned it's as dead as a door nail. The only question is when he will announce.
After Ford’s public accusation, an account of the alleged incident involving Ramirez first emerged last September during Kavanaugh’s hearings. The allegations were dismissed by his supporters as uncorroborated, and although it was reported to the FBI during the confirmation process last year it was never investigated, according to the Times. Ramirez did not testify in the confirmation hearings, and Kavanaugh has denied both her and Ford’s accusations.
“At least seven people, including Ms. Ramirez’s mother, heard about the Yale incident long before Mr. Kavanaugh was a federal judge,” the Times reported.
When asked last fall about Ramirez's allegations, Kavanaugh in a Fox News interview, said, “I never did any such thing — never did any such thing. The other people alleged to be there don’t recall any such thing. If such a thing had happened, it would’ve been the talk of campus.”
But former classmates corroborated that the incident occurred. One, Max Stier, told the Times said he saw Kavanaugh, “with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student.”
AdChoices “Mr. Stier, who runs a nonprofit organization in Washington, notified senators and the F.B.I. about this account, but the F.B.I. did not investigate and Mr. Stier has declined to discuss it publicly,” the Times reported.
Ramirez’s legal team provided the FBI with “a list of at least 25 individuals who may have had corroborating evidence,” the Times wrote. “But the bureau — in its supplemental background investigation — interviewed none of them, though we learned many of these potential witnesses tried in vain to reach the F.B.I. on their own.”
Like it or not, it takes courage to stand up to the NRA. Beto O'Rourke said.
“On Aug. 3, in El Paso, with 22 people killed and dozens more grievously injured, I could no longer accept that would be enough because there are still more than 10 million assault weapons, weapons of war, out on the street,” he said.
“If we agree they are dangerous to sell and that we should stop selling them, then we also have to agree that these are instruments of terror that are still out there and have to be brought back home or they are going to be used against us.”
O’Rourke’s proposal has become central to his presidential bid. After he passionately defended his buyback proposal on the debate stage last week, his campaign attempted to seize on the moment to fill its fundraising coffers, offering a shirt on its online store that reads: “Hell yes we’re going to take your AR-15.”
Whether or not if it helps his campaign, he didn't back down.
Hey goat fucker....tell me why you think a 5.56 mm round is an effective hunting ....!!!! And maybe you can answer why you need a 100 round circular magazine in the field!!!
I can’t wait to watch all these soy boys come out of the woodwork claiming Amy Coney Barrett raped them after President Trump nominates her for the Supreme Court.
We had a nuclear agreement with Iran with which they were complying. Trump pulled out just because the agreement was brokered by Obama. Iran is going to resume its nuclear weapons program as a result of Trump pulling us out of the agreement. The Saudi oil refineries were attacked as a result of Trump pulling us out of the agreement. Oil prices are going to rise resulting in a rise in gasoline at the pump because Trump pulled out of the agreement. Trump's response?
Robert O'Rourke has no answer for fatherless homes, generational poverty, violent youth or mental illness. So he just rants about a brand/style of firearm he knows little about. Ask him how an AR-15 is mechanically different from other rifles. He has no wisdom, no answers.
The term “Weapon of War” is propaganda designed by those pushing a political agenda meant to take guns from legal gun owners who have never committed a crime.
Anyone who uses that term should be immediately ignored because they know nothing about the issue.
According to an article in Gun Digest, in the summer of 1960 U.S. Air Force Gen. Curtis LeMay sought to replace the M-2 carbine used by Air Force security personnel with the AR-15, a redesign of the AR-10. The following year, an official at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (known as DARPA) sent a handful of AR-15 rifles to U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers fighting in South Vietnam. The reviews from the field came back almost immediately — the GIs loved it.
“It was very, very efficient,” says Mark Westrom, a former U.S. Army ordnance officer. He was also the owner of ArmaLite from 1994 until 2016.
For the next fifteen months the U.S. Army, principally U.S. Army Chief of Staff Gen. Maxwell Taylor, and Gen. Curtis LeMay of the U.S. Air Force would essentially compete for the soul of their favored rifles. Inevitably, Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara ordered the adoption of the AR-15 and by the end of 1963 the Army ordered roughly 85,000 AR-15. (now designated the XM16E1, or “M-16”)
Assault Weapons In the past decade, shooters armed with assault weapons have wreaked havoc in our nation’s public spaces, from movie theaters and schools to churches, festivals, and city streets. These civilian versions of weapons designed for the military are designed to kill humans quickly and efficiently. In the absence of federal legislation regulating assault weapons, states must take it upon themselves to protect their residents from these deadly weapons.
FEDERAL LAW STATE LAW KEY ELEMENTS BACKGROUND Assault weapons are a class of semi-automatic firearm specifically designed to kill humans quickly and efficiently. They are a relatively new class of weapon—during the 1980s, the gun industry sought to reverse a decline in consumer demand for guns by developing and marketing new types of weapons based on high-powered military designs.1 Between 1994 and 2004, certain “semiautomatic assault weapons” were banned at the federal level, but currently there is no federal law regulating these highly lethal weapons.
Wounds caused by assault weapons are more severe and lethal than wounds caused by other firearms, and, particularly when paired with large capacity magazines, assault weapons can injure more people more quickly. Because of this lethality, assault weapons are frequently the guns of choice for individuals who carry out horrific public attacks.
Assault weapons have been used in the seven deadliest mass shootings in the last decade. An analysis of a public mass shootings resulting in four or more deaths found that more than 85% of such fatalities were caused by assault rifles.2 An assailant with an assault rifle is able to hurt and kill twice the number of people compared to an assailant with a non-assault rifle or handgun.
Assault weapons are designed to fire bullets at a high velocity level and high capacity cartridges. They are designed for combat purposes only.
They fire bullets that are about .25" diameter at high speed and very rapidly.
They also are quite a bit longer than the average weapons, because they actually rotate after they hit a bone in the body of the victim. An assailant with an assault rifle is able to hurt and kill twice the number of people compared to an assailant with a non-assault rifle or handgun.
I don't know how the Supreme Court would decide, if or when a law is written to confiscate them.
The Court has made it almost impossible to purchase a fully automatic weapon.
Hunting weapons use bullets that get bigger in diameter upon contact with the target, in the case when I used to hunt deer. I loaded my own cartridges. I had a .308 Winchester cartridge bolt action rifle and a 4 power scope. It could hold 6 cartridges, one in the chamber and 5 in the cartridge.
I wish I still had it. I put on a custom wood stock. I could nail a target at least 100' away.
The New York Times reported Saturday that one of Kavanaugh's Yale classmates allegedly saw him with his pants down at a drunken dorm party, with friends pushing his penis into a female student's hands, when Kavanaugh was a freshman. According to the report, the classmate told this story to senators and the FBI, but the FBI did not investigate it.
The interesting thing is "why didn't the FBI immediately investigate the allegations?
Hunting weapons use bullets that get bigger in diameter upon contact with the target, in the case when I used to hunt deer. I loaded my own cartridges. I had a .308 Winchester cartridge bolt action rifle and a 4 power scope. It could hold 6 cartridges, one in the chamber and 5 in the cartridge.

every word of this post is a complete fucking lie.
every. fucking. word.
100 feet? really.
you hand-loaded your own rounds? really? just like that.
It could hold 6 cartridges, one in the chamber and 5 in the cartridge.
you mean one in the chamber and four (not five) in the MAGAZINE???
you're emblematic of the problem of people who have absolutely no fucking idea what they're talking about when it comes to guns deciding what out gun reform policy should be.
shut up alky.
just shut the fuck up.
you're a liar, you're a fraud, you're delusional, and you're mentally ill. this is a serious topic to be discussed by serious and knowledgeable people.
our second amendment rights are in the process of being destroyed and we have uninformed alcoholic asshats like you and blotto o'rourke leading the discussion.
Max Steiner, was so willing to talk about what he saw, why didn't he go to news outlets, especially liberal mainstream media rags like the Times or WaPo, when the accusation
Because the interview probably went some like this:
Q: When did this party take place? A: I don't recall.
Q: Where did this party take place. A: I don't recall.
Q: Beside Mr. Kavenaugh, who was at the party with you? A: I don't recall.
Now Roger is going to say none of that matters but the classmate in question is Max Steiner. Head of a liberal public policy group. He refused to be interview by the Times reporters but they got the story from unnamed intermediaries.
An assailant with an assault rifle is able to hurt and kill twice the number of people compared to an assailant with a non-assault rifle or handgun.
flatly FALSE.
if i had to sweep a street full of antifa assholes give me a 12 ga. 7 + 1 tactical shotgun like a mossberg 500, or better yet a 7 + 7 keltec loaded with 00 buckshot any day of the week.
once again you know nothing of the topic you're discussing.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Several Democratic presidential candidates on Sunday lined up to call for the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the face of a new, uninvestigated, allegation of sexual impropriety when he was in college.
Kavanaugh was confirmed last October after emotional hearings in the Senate over a sexual assault allegation from his high school years. The New York Times now reports that Kavanaugh faced a separate allegation from his time at Yale University and that the FBI did not investigate the claim. The latest claim mirrors one offered during his confirmation process by Deborah Ramirez, a Yale classmate who claimed Kavanaugh exposed himself to her during a drunken party.
When he testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee last year, Kavanaugh denied all allegations of impropriety .
Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., said after the new report that “Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people.” She tweeted: “He must be impeached.”
A 2020 rival, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, tweeted that “Confirmation is not exoneration, and these newest revelations are disturbing. Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached.”
Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke asserted in a tweeted, “We know he lied under oath. He should be impeached.” He accused the GOP-run Senate of forcing the FBI “to rush its investigation to save his nomination.”
Their comments followed similar ones from Julian Castro, a former U.S. housing secretary, on Saturday night. “It’s more clear than ever that Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath,” he tweeted. “He should be impeached and Congress should review the failure of the Department of Justice to properly investigate the matter.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont didn’t refer to impeachment by name in a tweet Sunday, but said he would “support any appropriate constitutional mechanism” to hold Kavanaugh “accountable.”
Democrats control the House, which holds the power of impeachment. If the House took that route, a trial would take place in the Senate, where Republicans now have a majority, making it unlikely that Kavanaugh would be removed from office.
Trump, who fiercely defended Kavanaugh during his contentious confirmation process, dismissed the latest allegation as “lies.”
In a tweet Sunday, Trump said Kavanaugh “should start suing people for libel,* or the Justice Department should come to his rescue.” It wasn’t immediately clear how the Justice Department could come to the justice’s defense.
Trump added that they were “False Accusations without recrimination,” and claimed his accusers were seeking to influence Kavanaugh’s opinions on the bench. _________ *Why doesn't Trump sue Stormy?
A year after his confirmation hearing, Brett Kavanaugh faces a NEW sexual misconduct allegation The Supreme Court justice faces a new allegation, and FRESH CORROBORATION of an OLD one.
A new allegation of sexual misconduct has been levied against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh by journalists investigating the accusations that roiled his confirmation hearings last fall. The New York Times details new corroborations of an allegation of sexual misconduct brought by Kavanaugh’s classmate, Deborah Ramirez, as well as A PREVIOUSLY UNDISCLOESED allegation that mirrors the one Ramirez made in 2018.
The report also found the FBI declined to follow up on any of the 25 witnesses Ramirez provided to confirm her allegation, and that the agency also did not investigate the new allegation, which accused Kavanaugh of forcing his penis into the hand of a female classmate while drunk. Ramirez has said the Supreme Court justice did something similar to her at another party, exposing his penis to her, forcing her to touch it in an attempt to get away.
These new allegations emerged just a day after the New York Times reported that the Justice Department will present the prestigious Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service to the lawyers who supported Kavanaugh’s confirmation. According to an email reviewed by the Times, Attorney General William Barr will present the award, which typically goes to people or teams who work on prosecution cases, next month; DOJ officials declined to comment.
Kavanaugh vigorously denied this allegation during his confirmation hearing, and also denied the allegation of Christine Blasey Ford, who said he had pinned her down, covered her mouth, and groped her during a high school party. He called these allegations politically motivated, and ultimately squeaked through to being confirmed to the bench by a vote of 50-48.
At the time of Kavanaugh’s confirmation, Democrats raised concerns that he may have perjured himself on several occasions. These concerns were dismissed, however.
But the new account of sexual misconduct, its similarity to Ramirez’s allegations, and fresh information about the number of people willing to confirm Ramirez’s account have once again raised concerns over the justice’s honesty during his confirmation hearings. And the fact he repeatedly denied any and allegations against him have led to new questions over whether Kavanaugh may have perjured himself, as well.
Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, the journalists behind the report, spent 10 months investigating the accusations against Kavanaugh. They found Ramirez’s allegation to be credible, in part because their work showed that Yale students, as well as Ramirez’s mother, had discussed the incident at the party IN THE WEEKS FOLLOWING Kavanaugh’s alleged harassment.
The authors were also told of a SIMILAR incident at a separate party by Kavanaugh’s classmate Max Stier, who currently runs a nonprofit in Washington, DC. Stier said he told senators and the FBI about his experience with Kavanaugh, alleging the justice forced his penis into the hand of a woman during his freshman year. The FBI did not investigate Stier’s claims, however.
Nor did the agency interview anyone on the list of at least 25 people that Ramirez’s legal team provided in order to corroborate her story. Two FBI agents reportedly told Ramirez that they found her story to be credible, but said that their team could not conduct a full investigation WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF THE REPUBLICAN-CONTROLLED SENATE. They, of course, did not have this support, and so no investigation occurred. Ramirez did not testify during the confirmation hearings, either.
Without her present and lacking any questioning of her witnesses, Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA) ultimately found Ramirez’s allegation to be uncorroborated, and almost all Senate Republicans — joined by Democrat Joe Manchin of West Virginia — voted to confirm Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh declined to be interviewed by the journalists, whose work will soon be collected into a book, and has not released any kind of statement since the new allegations were made public. But on Twitter, President Donald Trump, who nominated Kavanaugh and celebrated his confirmation, blasted the claims and encouraged the justice to begin libel proceedings against his accusers.
The latest NYT smear against Kavanaugh comes third-hand from a Clinton defense attorney. But that’s not all. The alleged victim has zero recollection of the Clinton attorney’s story. -------------------------------------- The Clinton attorney peddling anti-Kavanaugh smears defended Bill Clinton against charges he forcibly exposed his genitalia to Paula Jones. And who did that Clinton attorney fight against in that case? Brett Kavanaugh. But I’m sure his motives are pure.
FOX NEWS: Additionally, the FBI separately reached out to nearly a dozen individuals to corroborate the allegations by Ford and Ramirez, and ultimately spoke to ten individuals and two eyewitnesses, but APPARENTLY found no corroboration. _______________
"Apparently"? I thought they said they found Ramirez credible, but were told by the Republican dominated Senate to lay off.
Former United States Attorney Joyce Vance calls for a congressional investigation.
“There must be a full Congressional investigation to determine whether someone, and if so who, gave orders that kept the FBI from investigating credible allegations and speaking to witnesses who reached out to them,” the former prosecutor tweeted. “We were told this was a full investigation.”
There must be a full Congressional investigation to determine whether someone, and if so who, gave orders that kept the FBI from investigating credible allegations
The keyword is credible. And it will be quite funny if Congress investigates itself. ]

"Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, okay, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, okay, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right — who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us." “I have broken more Elton John records. He seems to have a lot of records. And I, by the way, I don’t have a musical instrument. I don’t have a guitar or an organ. No organ. Elton has an organ. And lots of other people helping. No, we’ve broken a lot of records. We’ve broken virtually every record. Because you know, look, I only need this space. They need much more room. For basketball, for hockey and all of the sports, they need a lot of room. We don’t need it. We have people in that space. So we break all of these records. Really, we do it without, like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical – the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth, right? The brain. More important than the mouth is the brain. The brain is much more important.” Donald J. Trump Montana July 5, 2018

BOMBSHELL: New York Times corrects Kavanaugh smear to note alleged victim does not recall any such incident.
two things -
those who think this might be tied to ginsburg's latest health news are probably on to something.
and -
the NY Times, their reporters, and anyone even remotely involved in this latest lie need to be completely and totally ruined via as many civil suits for libel this issue can muster.
at some point you simply must take these people head on and fucking destroy them. make them homeless. drive them to suicide.
now would be a good time to take up that effort.
and no alky, this isn't a first amendment issue. not even close. this is a focused and systematic effort to destroy a man for no reason other than disagreement with his politics.
Today’s NY Times hit piece, which left out key details about a new accusation and the old discredited Ramirez accusation casting doubt on the reporting, has ignited calls from several leading Democrat presidential candidates and the social media mob to impeach Kavanaugh.
It’s never over.
It wasn’t and isn’t over for Clarence Thomas, who continues to be maligned some 27 years later. The permanent investigation and torment of Brett Kavanaugh follows a well-worn Democrat path.
That’s why Kavanaugh has been and continues to be such a clarifying event.
Trump supporters are going to support Trump. The continued attacks on Kavanaugh serve as a motivator, as Rita Panahi expressed:
"Nothing has galvanised conservatives more than watching an innocent man being smeared by false accusations. Astonishing that the Left still hasn’t worked out that Kavanaugh in the news cycle is hugely beneficial to Trump."
There are many others who may not be Trump supporters, but are willing to support Trump. John Ekdahl, who isn’t a Trump supporter and voted for Gary Johnson in 2016, expressed a sentiment I suspect is widely shared:
"The Kavanaugh railroad is the most politically clarifying event in my life, and it is why, as the New York Times seems intent on reminding us, I will crawl over broken glass to vote for a guy I don’t particularly like next year."
Funny, you believe trump when he calls fake news on no preconditions with Iran talks when there is ample video of him, pompeo and mnuchen saying he would take a meeting with no conditions....How can that be???????? BWAAAAAAAA!!!

By Sarah Kaplan and Emily Guskin September 16 at 8:00 AM In a coastal town in Washington, climate change has a high school junior worried about the floods that keep deluging his school. A 17-year-old from Texas says global warming scares him so much he can’t even think about it.
But across the country, teens are channeling their anxieties into activism. “Fear,” says Maryland 16-year-old Madeline Graham, an organizer of a student protest planned for this week, “is a commodity we don’t have time for if we’re going to win the fight.”
A solid majority of American teenagers are convinced that humans are changing the Earth’s climate and believe that it will cause harm to them personally and to other members of their generation, according to a new Washington Post-Kaiser Family Foundation poll. Roughly 1 in 4 have participated in a walkout, attended a rally or written to a public official to express their views on global warming — remarkable levels of activism for a group that has not yet reached voting age.
The poll by The Post and Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) is the first major survey of teenagers’ views since the explosion of the youth climate movement last year. Inspired by 16-year-old Greta Thunberg, whose year-long “strike” in front of the Swedish Parliament and carbon-neutral sailboat voyage across the Atlantic have made her an activist icon, growing numbers of teens have been skipping school on Fridays to protest on behalf of something they say is more important.

FBI Limited Investigation of Kavanaugh Allegations September 16, 2019
“As Justice Brett Kavanaugh prepares for his second year on the Supreme Court, new reporting has detailed how the limits ordered by the White House and Senate Republicans last year constrained the FBI investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct when he was a college freshman,” the Los Angeles Times reports.
“The FBI was informed of allegations that Kavanaugh, while drunk during his freshman year at Yale, exposed himself to two heavily intoxicated female classmates on separate occasions. The bureau did not interview more than a dozen people who said they could provide information about the incidents.
“One of the accounts, reported by Deborah Ramirez, was made public at the time of Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings. The other, not publicly known until this weekend, was reported by a male classmate who said he witnessed the incident. He unsuccessfully sought to get the FBI to investigate with help from a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee who asked FBI Director Christopher Wray to look into the allegation."
she actually never recalls being assaulted and declined interview ...oopsie
Could this be why?
“The FBI was informed of allegations that Kavanaugh, while drunk during his freshman year at Yale, exposed himself to TWO HEAVILY INTOXICATED FEMALE CLASSMATES ON SEPARATE OCCASIONS. The bureau did not interview more than a dozen people who said they could provide information about the incidents.
One of those heavily intoxicated females does not remember, but others who were there said they saw it and were willing to talk to the FBI.
This smear was disgusting the first time around. This attempt to revive it is beyond disgusting and speaks to the dishonesty of leading organs of the mainstream media. They are corrupt.

Employee Who Sent Tweet Wasn’t Aware of Trump’s Claim
The Alabama National Weather Service employee who tweeted that the state was not in the path of Hurricane Dorian was not aware of President Trump’s tweet that the state would be hit, the New York Times reports.
“It was incoming phone calls from Alabamians energized about Hurricane Dorian, suddenly confused and worried about whether they were in the path of the giant Caribbean storm. At one point, the few people on duty were all answering calls at the same time.
“In response to the alarm, one employee dashed off a short message to the office’s 50,000 Twitter followers that reaffirmed what the latest models were saying: Alabama had little to worry about.” _________ In other words, just telling the truth and calming people down, completely unaware of the President's outdated tweet.
New Book: Christine Blasey Ford’s Friend Leland Keyser Doesn’t Believe Her
"It just didn't make any sense," lifelong friend Leland Keyser told New York Times reporters about Ford's allegations, adding "I don't have any confidence in the story."
Supposedly the Dems have all these polls that show all their candidates would beat Trump, but they keep throwing sloppy panicked Hail Mary passes like trying to resurrect the Kavanaugh smear.
Trump Lashes Out at Media for Reporting What He Said
“President Trump lashed out Sunday night at the news media for reporting that he would meet with Iranian leaders with ‘no conditions’ — something Trump has said on camera at least twice and that senior administration officials repeated to reporters just last week,” the Washington Post reports. _________________
Trump tries to call it fake news when the media report that he said what he said and when his own officials say that he said it.
"It just didn't make any sense," lifelong friend Leland Keyser told New York Times reporters about Ford's allegations, adding "I don't have any confidence in the story."
Hell her own father and family don't believer her.
No "statement" but there is this and it "speaks" volumes
Ralph Blasey, Ford’s father, went out of his way to offer to Ed Kavanaugh his support of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, according to multiple people familiar with the conversation that took place at Burning Tree Club in Bethesda, Maryland. “I’m glad Brett was confirmed,” Ralph Blasey told Ed Kavanaugh, shaking his hand. Blasey added that the ordeal had been tough for both families.
Blasey never explicitly addressed the credibility of his daughter’s allegations, but he presumably wouldn’t have supported the nomination of a man he believed tried to rape his daughter.
It wasn’t just Ford’s father. The national drama played out on a decidedly local scale as the D.C.-based family and friends of Ford’s quietly apologized to friends and family of Kavanaugh, even as the toxic political environment made it punitive for them to speak up publicly.
One friend who was subjected to both public scrutiny and private pressure because she cast doubt on Ford’s story was Leland Keyser, one of Ford’s closest friends at the time of the alleged attack. Keyser wanted to support her but nevertheless had no recollection of the event.
Keyser’s son noted on a GoFundMe page for his mother that she put “everything in her life at risk” in order to tell the truth about Ford’s allegations. Son Alex Beckel wrote that his mom “resisted immense personal pressure and courageously came forward with the truth,” adding that she “stood up and did what was right when she had everything to lose and nothing to gain.”
While there was no evidence to support Ford’s claim other than her testimony, some believed her because they said she would have no motivation to lie. Critics point to the nearly $1 million she raised in GoFundMe accounts and the honors that Sports Illustrated and Time Magazine bestowed on her. New books featuring her cooperation downplay the copious problems with her account.
"Blasey never explicitly addressed the credibility of his daughter’s allegations, but he presumably wouldn’t have supported the nomination of a man he believed tried to rape his daughter."
Oh, I myself heard people, even women, saying, Well now, boys will be boys and he didn't actually rape her, just got a little persistent, and we are going to support the President (who also gets persistent with women, walking up and grabbing them by the..) and his Republican nominee anyway.
Former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) told CNN the Republican party was a “cult” and President Trump is a “would-be dictator.”
Said Walsh: “I’ve given up on the Republican Party, the Republican Party is a cult, right. They no longer stand for ideals. The Republican Party right now is all about washing their leaders’ feet every day, that’s what they do.”
Quote of the Day “Having our country act as Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First.'” — Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), saying on Twitter that President Trump is awaiting “instructions from his Saudi masters.”

Well James, not that it's particularly relevant to your situation but Gehenna originate from the Hebrew word gehinnom. It's not likely they would have a word for a concept that was foreign to them.
Yep.....the earth could be heading to another record year for temperatures......and the right will continue to slurp, deny, and ignore because of the brainwashing of teens who know!!!!!
By Andrew Freedman September 16 at 4:02 PM The Northern Hemisphere just had its hottest summer on record since 1880, according to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration data released Monday. NOAA found the average global surface temperature taken by thousands of thermometers, buoys and other sensors on land and sea tied with that of 2016 for the top spot, with a temperature anomaly of 2.03 degrees (1.13 Celsius) above the 20th-century average.
In addition, August was the world’s second-hottest such month, according to both NOAA and NASA, with unusually hot conditions seen from pole to pole and across every ocean.
What’s remarkable about 2019′s record warmth is that it comes in the absence of a strong El Niño event in the tropical Pacific Ocean. Such events tend to boost global temperatures by warming the seas and sending more heat into the atmosphere. Instead, a weak El Niño has been present at times during 2019 but nothing like what occurred in 2016, which was the last time a Northern Hemisphere summer was this warm.
ADVERTISING
As global average temperatures continue to rise in response to increasing levels of human-produced greenhouse gases, it is becoming easier to exceed climate benchmarks even without strong El Niño events. For example, according to NOAA, the five hottest summers in the Northern Hemisphere have each occurred during the past five years.
This summer featured unusual events that are symptomatic of a rapidly warming planet. There was a brutal heat wave across Europe in July that established new national high temperature records and broke Paris’s all-time hottest temperature. In addition, Arctic sea ice plummeted to the second-lowest level on record for the month of August.
Furthermore, the Arctic was ablaze, from the boreal forests of Alaska and Canada to the Siberian tundra and vast spruce forests, highlighting the possibility that the region could go from an absorber, or “sink,” of carbon to a source of additional carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere.

Does Calling Trump A Racist Make Him More Likely To Win?
Milbank is making the argument that the more Democrats call Trump a racist, the more likely a bunch of marginal voters will show up and vote for him next November. And we can’t have that, can we?
Dana Milbank lacks the self awareness to consider why calling Trump a racist would drive "marginal voters" to him. If he did, he would know the charge is false, unfair and malicious and voters instinctively know this.

New Sexual Misconduct Claim Against Kavanaugh
The cartoon showing a manic Trump sitting there trying to decide whether to TWEET or to NUKE is the best of them all.

New Sexual Misconduct Claim Against Kavanaugh
“Two New York Times reporters say they’ve uncovered a previously unreported account of sexual misconduct allegedly carried out by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh when he was a student at Yale,” the HuffPost reports.
There's nothing new, it's the same same de-bunked, dis-credited story that popped up during the hearings. It was a disgraceful hit piece by the New York Times.
I'm not surprised you brought it up James since you regularly repeat lies and slander.
Did it happen or not?
Blogger James said...
Did it happen or not?
It did not happen. At least not with Kavenaugh involved.
It simply did not happen, and Trump never had sex with any porn star.
MS. Ramirez? I thought we were discussing Mr. Stier. You really think difi, Spartacus or kamala wouldn't find a way to leak this during the hearings? Something like this from someone like him would not have stayed hidden.

The Republicans strongly impeded the investigation. That is the simple truth of it.
@mattdizwhitlock
The Ramirez/Kavanaugh story completely fell apart under scrutiny and the reporters who wrote it despite embarrassing sourcing took major reputations hits.
That it still somehow found it’s way into a book with even the slightest editing and scrutiny is shocking.

Obviously true or false this doesn't even matter.
But what was being discussed previously does.
EMPHASES ADDED by the pastor. :-)

Hey, Rat, even you know I can't be a pederast.
As I am heading out the door, I am reminded that one of the big differences between Democrats and Republicans is this: Dems will often reluctantly admit sexual mis-steps. Repugs almost never.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed Iran for coordinated strikes on the heart of Saudi Arabia’s oil industry, saying they marked an unprecedented attack on the world’s energy supply.
The strikes shut down half of the kingdom’s crude production on Saturday, potentially roiling petroleum prices and demonstrating the power of Iran’s proxies.
Iran-allied Houthi rebels in neighboring Yemen claimed credit for the attack, saying they sent 10 drones to strike at important facilities in Saudi Arabia’s oil-rich Eastern Province. But Mr. Pompeo said there was no evidence the strikes had come from Yemen.
In a tweet, he said the U.S. will work with allies “to ensure that energy markets remain well supplied and Iran is held accountable for its aggression.” He added that the strikes showed Iran wasn’t serious about diplomacy.
Thank goodness we fracking and drilling
Dems admit sexual missteps but hop never does?? Did he actually say that?

Well. Roger, that's how most people feel.
He's beginning to panic. The economy is probably going to go into a recession.
The drone strikes are going to increase gasoline prices quickly.
Now he's threatening to use the Department of Justice to sue the Fake News New York Times newspaper for slander. An attack on the First Amendment rights.
Most people don't support the President, his approval rating are lower than ever. "Oh brother "
Most people think Kavenaugh was treated shabbily by the media and the Democrats.
The New York Times just reminded people today just how sleazy the media and the Democrats have become.

That's the funnest thing you've said today Roger.

The @senjudiciary worked to pursue any and all substantive leads. Staff members spoke with 35 individuals. More than 20 Committee staffers contributed to investigative efforts. The Committee did not receive any evidence that corroborated claims made by Ford or Ramirez.
---------------------
In response to Ms. Ramirez’s allegations, Chairman Grassley’s staff contacted Ms. Ramirez’s counsel 7 times seeking evidence to support claims made in the New Yorker. Ms. Ramirez produced nothing in response and refused a Committee request for an interview.
----------------------
Committee staff nevertheless pursued the investigation. Staff lawyers interviewed multiple witnesses with relevant information. Committee staff also investigated the public statements of other individuals and found they had no knowledge of the alleged event.
----------------------
Prior to Day 5 of the hearing, Committee staff conducted a transcribed interview with Judge Kavanaugh, subject to penalty of felony. He denied Ms. Ramirez’s allegations. The Democrat staff refused to participate in the interviews, although they attended.
-------------------------
In the Executive Summary released by Sen. Grassley, the FBI reached out to 11 people, attempting to corroborate allegations made by Dr. Ford and Ms. Ramirez. The FBI interviewed 10 people and 2 alleged eye witnesses. The conclusion: there was no corroboration of the allegations.

“Mr.

@SeanParnellUSA
Assault Weapons
In the past decade, shooters armed with assault weapons have wreaked havoc in our nation’s public spaces, from movie theaters and schools to churches, festivals, and city streets. These civilian versions of weapons designed for the military are designed to kill humans quickly and efficiently. In the absence of federal legislation regulating assault weapons, states must take it upon themselves to protect their residents from these deadly weapons.
FEDERAL LAW
STATE LAW
KEY ELEMENTS
BACKGROUND
Assault weapons are a class of semi-automatic firearm specifically designed to kill humans quickly and efficiently.
An analysis of a public mass shootings resulting in four or more deaths found that more than 85% of such fatalities were caused by assault rifles.2
An assailant with an assault rifle is able to hurt and kill twice the number of people compared to an assailant with a non-assault rifle or handgun.

Because the interview probably went some like this:

A year after his confirmation hearing, Brett Kavanaugh faces a NEW sexual misconduct allegation
The Supreme Court justice faces a new allegation, and FRESH CORROBORATION of an OLD one.
YEP. GO RIGHT AHEAD.

— but when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right — who would have thought?), but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us."

“I have broken more Elton John records. The brain is much more important.”

“I’ll tell you the funniest is that I’ll go backstage before a show and everyone’s getting dressed….No men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in, because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it…. ‘Is everyone OK’? You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody OK?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.”

“We’re gonna find out. And — and, by the way, when I say you’re gonna find out. You can never really find, you know, there are gonna be — no matter what numbers we come up with, there are gonna be lots of people that did things that we’re not going to find out about. But we will find out because we need a better system where that can’t happen.”

"I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn't get there, and she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she's now got the big phony tits and everything. I'm automatically attracted to beautiful [women]—I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything ... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."

Sad how many stories about Bret have come out.....just like trump, not a single one true......BWAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Another dirty leg who is perfect!!!!!
Funny, you believe trump when he calls fake news on no preconditions with Iran talks when there is ample video of him, pompeo and mnuchen saying he would take a meeting with no conditions....How can that be???????? BWAAAAAAAA!!!
Well, we have plenty of evidence the New York Times publishes fake news.
And there is planty of evidence that the NYT's has gotten things correct and that trump lies constantly!!!!
@TimRunsHisMouth
Does the DNC have some version of the 25th amendment to invoke if Joe Biden is their nominee?
After the "corn pop" story, they should probably start looking into it.

HEADLINE: KAVANAUGH ASSAULTED ANOTHER WOMAN
**watches story trend on twitter**
**watches story headline news for 24 hours**
quiet update: she actually never recalls being assaulted and declined interview ...oopsie
ANYBODY that spread this obviously false narrative has absolutely no integrity or is incredibly stupid and easily manipulated, like the left is here.
Kamala Harris was on the committee and had to know the complete situation with Ramirez but still put out a libelous tweet.
She is just an old AOC.
and I'm sure there were others.

In a coastal town in Washington, climate change has a high school junior worried about the floods that keep deluging his school.
That's not common sense that's children being brainwashed and scared the bejesus out of by cynical leftest politicians and teachers.
BWAAAAAAAAA!!!! The cultist women hating denier claims brainwashing.......while he is the template of it himself!!!!!! At least the kids have a working brain, unlike you, cramps......
FBI Limited Investigation of Kavanaugh Allegations
September 16, 2019

“In response to the alarm, one employee dashed off a short message to the office’s 50,000 Twitter followers that reaffirmed what the latest models were saying: Alabama had little to worry about.”

Her father has never publicly expressed any doubt of his daughter's account of that evening.
Hey, Cowardly, tell me something.
When did the Hebrew/Israelite/Jewish people start believing in Satan?
No "statement" but there is this and it "speaks" volumes
Ralph Blasey, Ford’s father, went out of his way to offer to Ed Kavanaugh his support of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, according to multiple people familiar with the conversation that took place at Burning Tree Club in Bethesda, Maryland. “I’m glad Brett was confirmed,” Ralph Blasey told Ed Kavanaugh, shaking his hand. Blasey added that the ordeal had been tough for both families.
https://thefederalist.com/2019/09/12/christine-blasey-fords-father-supported-brett-kavanaughs-confirmation/

Doesn't matter what they believe. It only matter that you believe in the hell you're about to enter.

When did they start believing in Gehenna ("hell")?
Walsh Says the GOP Is a ‘Cult’
Quote of the Day
“Having our country act as Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First.'”

why do you lie and rape children
When did they start believing in Gehenna
Well James, not that it's particularly relevant to your situation but Gehenna originate from the Hebrew word gehinnom. It's not likely they would have a word for a concept that was foreign to them.

The Northern Hemisphere just had its hottest summer on record since 1880, according to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration data released Monday.
