Former President Barack Obama fired all ambassadors appointed by former President George W. Bush in 2008, The Washington Post previously reported. Yovanovitch testified Friday that the Trump administration, including the president’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, “kneecapped” her. She said State Department leaders did not support her after being recalled in May.

Fox News host Bret Baier — and his colleague John Roberts — infuriated Fox News viewers who follow their Twitter feeds for praising the performance of former Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch during her House impeachment testimony while they also condemned Donald Trump for attacking her as she spoke.
According to Roberts in his tweet, “Wow….this is really unprecedented. @realDonaldTrump and Amb Yovanovitch are talking to each other in real time through @Twitter and Television… Something I never thought I would ever see.”
Retweeting that and agreeing, Baier added: “That was a turning point in this hearing so far. She was already a sympathetic witness & the President’s tweet ripping her allowed Schiff to point it out real time characterizing it as witness tampering or intimidation -adding an article of impeachment real-time.”
That was more than enough to set off supporters of Donald Trump, some of whom think Baier would be more comfortable working for CNN and not Fox News.

I read the tweet this morning. Thought it was very "Trump-like" to have him give a scathing recollection of today's big (well we cannot call her a witness since she didn't witness anything relevant) person testifying.
I also found the hypocrisy of the Democrats and media amusing as the entire purpose of this witness was to criticize Trump's foreign policy. Trump is (after all) the duly elected President of the United States, but apparently the office of the Presidency provides no respect.
But we are supposed to bow down to a "diplomat" who was fired for pretty much blatant insubordination or incompetency (take your pick) and pretend that her position entitles her to be free from criticism.

Yovanovitch shoots down Trump ally’s 2016 election conspiracy theory
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) pressed Yovanovitch about criticism in 2016 from several Ukrainian officials of then-candidate Donald Trump – but Yovanovitch said the comments didn’t, in her view, constitute election interference.
Jordan, a staunch Trump ally, listed a number of negative comments several Ukrainian officials made about Trump and asked Yovanovitch whether she could see why Trump was frustrated and therefore justified in being skeptical of Ukraine.
“No one did anything,” Jordan said, asking if “you see why maybe, maybe the president was a little concerned about what went on in Ukraine.”
Yovanovitch responded: “I can’t speak for the president on this. … From my point of view, that doesn’t create a Ukrainian government strategy to interfere in our election. ... “It doesn’t necessarily constitute interference.”
Yovanovitch provided zero evidence that Trump committed any sort of crime...
other than apparently the crime that he didn't follow the diplomatic path that Yovanovitch and the rest of the deep state actors preferred!
