I agree that Trump had Epstein bumped off to keep him from revealing the evidence he had on child raper Trump.

Epstein had hoped to use that in a plea bargain.

Stop Using ‘Quid Pro Quo’
November 10, 2019 at 8:57 am EST

A plea from 33 writers in the New York Times:

“Please stop using the Latin phrase ‘quid pro quo’ regarding the impeachment inquiry. Most people don’t understand what it means, and in any case it doesn’t refer only to a crime. Asking for a favor is not a criminal act; we frequently demand things from foreign countries before giving them aid, like asking them to improve their human rights record.

“That is not a crime; the crime is President Trump’s demand for something that will benefit him personally. But using this neutral phrase — which means simply ‘this for that’ — as synonymous with criminality is confusing to the public. It makes the case more complicated, more open to question and more difficult to plead.

“Please use words that refer only to criminal behavior here. Use ‘bribery’ or ‘extortion’ to describe Mr. Trump’s demand to President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, making it very clear that this is a crime. The more we hear words that carry moral imputations, the more we understand the criminal nature of the act.”
____________

An attempted unconstitutional bribery.
An attempted unconstitutional extortion.
An unconstitutional threatened action based on an illegal demand.
An unconstitutional demand based on an already illegal action for which Trump had no legal standing, no legal authority.

I promise my son won't do it again if I am elected president.

And I won't threaten to withhold aid on tape.

And I am above the law anyway.

and if you read between the lines and make some assumptions and insert some unspoken words and don't take into account Ukraine wasn't even aware then Trump is guilty too.

And since Trump is an American everything he does is helping himself so every "favor" he asks for, and there have been hundreds, is quid pro quo and he needs to be impeached.

Then we can go back to normal standards

Besides I need to be able to afford 15 million dollar oceanfront vacation mansions like the Obama's. He's my best buddy and we love to play and get paid.

ARLINGTON, VA—At a press conference on Thursday, American Nazi Party leader Emmett Scoggins told reporters that his group is not trying to instate full-on Nazism, but a much better system called “democratic Nazism.”

“People have us all wrong,” Scoggins explained. “We love democracy. We want people to be able to freely vote and have a voice at the ballot box.”

Reporters asked Scoggins if, under democratic Nazism, people could just use their democratic voting rights to vote against Nazism. He replied, “No, they could not. That wouldn’t be one of the things you could vote for.” He then clarified, “The things you could vote for would be stuff like how Nazi should we go? Double-Nazi? Triple-Nazi? Nazi-nine-thousand? The choices would be endless, but of course all Nazi choices.”

Scoggins was questioned about the use of the word “democratic” and how democratic Nazism was any different from plain-old Nazism. “The main difference is we add the word ‘democratic’ on there because people like that word a lot more than just plain ‘Nazi,’” Scoggins said. “We’ve added the word to all of our unpopular practices. Democratic racism, democratic beat-downs, democratic censorship, democratic genocide. All of those things poll much higher if we call them democratic.”

The conference ended with a long speech from Scoggins about everything wrong with America, the need for democratic Nazism, and an impassioned appeal on how “real” Nazism has never been tried.

Does Schiff intend to allow testimony concerning the fact that when President Trump inquired of Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky about Ukraine’s investigations into the Bidens, Burisma, and possible corruption he was actually required to do so by treaty:

Yes, there is an actual treaty between the U.S. and Ukraine which obligates the leaders of both countries to cooperate fully and together on investigations of corruption, particularly criminal matters and corruption that involves both the United States and the Ukraine. The phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenskiy, and it’s[sic] content, were not only legal, but the discussion and requests are actually mandated.

So now it is grounds for impeachment by Congress to enforce a treaty ratified by Congress? The signpost up ahead says we have entered the Schiff Zone, a parallel universe where you are guilty until judge, jury, and executioner Schiff says you are innocent. As BPR Business and Politics notes:

A 1999 treaty with Ukraine, signed by Bill Clinton, provides a rock-solid basis for President Trump’s request for Ukrainian President Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden for alleged corruption.

The Bidens are in up to their armpits with regard to a potential renewed Burisma Holdings natural gas probe… an overdue investigation that was in fact initially stopped by VP Biden while he was in office… a fact that he subsequently bragged about.

So, there is a firm legal underpinning to the request, the commander-in-chief to a country, an ally who we have a treaty with about criminal procedure to say, ‘Hey, can you look into some potential corruption allegations involving a U.S. Citizen?'” he added.

It is not obstruction of Congress, justice, or anything else for a President to exercise his legal and constitutional authority. The facts and the lack of an actual crime will not stop Schiff, just as it did not stop former Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Schiff, like Mueller, is following in the proud tradition of Stalin’s chief of the secret police, Lavrentiy Beria. Just show him the man, and he will show you the crime.

now, how do we know this story is a complete lie and total fabrication you ask?

maggie haberman wrote it.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Republicans and the president have complained that the Democrats’ inquiry is unfairly partisan. Schiff is likely to reject many, if not all, of the witnesses from the Republicans’ wish list. When the Democrats deny them, the Republicans will then present that as evidence of a one-sided process.

The house Republicans want to make it look like strictly partisan effort to overturn the last election.

It works well for the President and his base, that will probably never believe anything negative about the President. They have convinced his supporters that everything he says or does is absolutely perfect.

It got him elected President.

But the 2018 election and the last election that we saw red states elected Democrats in areas we haven't seen in decades, governors and state legislations.

Trump himself, was demanding public hearings. But in his usual way, he came out against public hearings, saying his usual "hoax" and "witchhunt" rhetoric.

Behind closed doors, many Republicans have strong negative views about this President. But as of now, we will have to see what happens during the public hearings. If they have the same effect on public opinions as in the Nixon impeachment proceedings, and the public opinions reduce his already low popularity, we may see a few cracks in the brick wall.

NEW YORK (AP) — Former national security adviser John Bolton has a book deal, The Associated Press has learned.

The hawkish Bolton departed in September because of numerous foreign policy disagreements with President Donald Trump. He reached a deal over the past few weeks with Simon & Schuster, according to three publishing officials with knowledge of negotiations. The officials were not authorized to discuss the deal publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Two of the officials said the deal was worth about $2 million. Bolton was represented by the Javelin literary agency, whose clients include former FBI Director James Comey and the anonymous Trump administration official whose book, "A Warning," comes out Nov. 19.

I wonder when the President will tweet tirade about a "never Trump " former member of the administration?

A state judge ordered President Trump to pay $2 million in damages to nonprofit groups on Thursday after the president admitted misusing money raised by the Donald J. Trump Foundation to promote his presidential bid, pay off business debts and purchase a portrait of himself for one of his hotels.

Among Mr. Trump’s admissions in court papers: The charity gave his campaign complete control over disbursing the $2.8 million that the foundation had raised at a fund-raiser for veterans in Iowa in January 2016, only days before the state’s presidential nominating caucuses. The fund-raiser, he acknowledged, was in fact a campaign event.

Why is it so hard for us to say out loud the blazingly obvious about the president of the United States: that he has utterly lost his mind. If Donald Trump were appointed the principal of your local secondary school tomorrow, you'd have pulled your kids out by Wednesday and he'd be gone by Friday. If he was mayor of your town, you'd pretend to live somewhere else. If he was a dog, you'd be making whispered phone calls to your vet.

I mean, I used to think Ronald Reagan and George W Bush were intellectually sub-par – but, by God, they're Mensa material compared to this guy. Meanwhile, his immediate past predecessor, Barack Obama, is as intellectually far ahead of Trump as it's possible to be while still belonging to the same species.

He disgraced the Oval Office by ever setting foot in there; he has been disgracing himself, and anyone that supports him, every day since.

Here is how NBC burst into my life. Context: In May 2018, Stefan Halper was exposed as a spy. I suddenly realised that I have been dragged into a massive scandal. I gave an interview to the Times of London. Then I receive this email from NBC. (1)

I rung NBC up. Here is a follow up on our call: 'It will be all the more powerful if NBC does it, one, because it’s the most watched network, and two, if NBC is doing it given the network’s agressive reporting on this administration, people will take it all the more seriously.(2)

NBC program on Halper would be 'holding a powerful (if repugnant) man to account, holding our top law enforcement agency to account, and ... clarifying something that will be written in..history books that cover Flynn, the current administration, and the Mueller investigation.(3)

NBC producer: I’m passionate about righting this wrong and telling your story, which exposes Halper’s true character, and calls out the FBI for relying on a slanderer who cares much more about telling a juicy yarn than the truth. This is a breach of justice full stop.' (4)

NBC producer: 'As a woman, and a professional woman, I shudder at the notion of a fallacious story about sleeping with Flynn and spying no less not just told around Cambridge but given to the press and reported as fact.' (5)

'I and my team in the investigative unit will take this story and it’s important implications very seriously and I believe our agencies (FBI and CIA) will be better for the fact that we shine a bright light on an unreliable and loose-lipped informant prone to inventing stories (6

NBC Producer in email to me: 'NBC is a place for serious journalism. I consider myself a serious journalist. I sincerely hope you will consider working with me on this.' (7)

After my experience with NYT and WashPost, I was highly sceptical. However, Halper story, which was being suppressed in the US in May 2018, had to be told to the largest possible audience (8)

What followed was a number of increasingly bizarre phone contestations. NBC went from 'fact-checking' to 'interrogation'- type questions to twisting. (9)

Then I noticed that I acquired some strange followers on twitter. I asked the NBC producer, 'Who is Ken Dilanian?' she went quiet and then responded 'why are you asking?'. (10)

It then struck me that there were more than just me and the producer on the call. I asked the producer directly if Dilanian was listening to the call and feeding her questions? The producer abruptly ended the call. (11)

NBC producer called me from her mobile. She sounded distressed and said she was being pressurised by her colleagues. She believed me but said a colleague with 25 years intelligence experience was laughing saying "Everyone at the CIA knows Flynn had an affair with Lokhova" (12)

NBC bully witnesses of fact who step forward whose evidence contradicts the fake narrative. They suppress the truth. They will never give up as so much is invested in the lie. END
