The Democrats House Impeachment Report

If it wasn't for opinion, speculation, and hearsay... there wouldn't be any evidence what-so-ever!

This is basically 300 pages of whining about how the President conducts his foreign policy. Entire sections about him legally firing diplomats (whom the Democrats hold in high regard because they still wanted to push Obama policy rather than Trump policy). Entire sections about the fact that Rudy Giuliani (and associates) were engaging with many people Ukraine, looking for, and actually uncovering a variety of Ukrainian corruption (some of which may involved Americans). Keep in mind that Giuliani doing this was not illegal in any manner, shape, or form. There were entire sections doing little more than criticizing the President for being to politically motivated (without any actual evidence of their claims).

There is some attacks on Kevin Nunes, due to the fact that there was basically one 8 minute conversation between him and one of the Giuliani aids (with implications that talking to these people was somehow criminal in nature). You will hear the left declare that there was a "series" of calls. But there two basic non-contacts (00 seconds and 02 seconds) and one minute long call (which is most likely a voicemail of some sort). Regardless of what you might believe, criminal conspiracies are not planned and completed in 8 minute phone calls.  This is simply a manner to smear Nunes and continue calls that he "recuse himself" because of suspicions (without evidence) that he did something wrong. In fact, many others are suggesting that Schiff and the Democrats releasing information on Nunes without any evidences of wrongdoing could actually be illegal (since there was no warrant to garner his information). One also wonders how Rudy's telephone records were obtained, since he is not formally accused of anything remotely illegal.

What is clear is that there is no chance at this point of having any bi-partisan decorum where our two Parties are doing anything but attacking each other in all out war. Unlike the Clinton impeachment hearings, where the Senate voted 100-0 to agree to hearings that were fair to the President and everyone involved, McConnell and others close to the negotiations suggest that there will be "no" consensus and that Democrat plan to vote lockstep against pretty much anything and everything that McConnell and the GOP put forward.

This is becoming petty and ugly. No doubt the general public will inherently understand that this is completely unnecessary and entirely political.

The Schiff #impeachment report quotes George Mason during the Constitutional Convention -- without noting that his proposal for "maladministration" as a basis for impeachment was rejected.

Lil scotty stretches to make another biased point with....

BWAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! He's done more than that....his midnight raid of the WH, discussions with Lev and Ukrainians as he served on the committee is more than sufficient to question his motives and complete dedication to the false narratives he pushed during the hearings...He is about as trustworthy as the liar trump.....and Barr and Mulvaney.....all crooks that need to come clean and that will never happen as long as the main players are throttled by trumps threats!!!!!! Yep....Nunes deserves more than attacks....he needs to be recalled!!!!!

Reporting from the VERY conservative business insider.....another ally sees the light!!!!! Too bad no slurper here will!!!!!!

Trump was embarrassed on the first day of the NATO summit, and it shows no one is bothering to take him seriously anymore
Business Insider Alexandra Ma,Business Insider 24 minutes ago

President Donald Trump is at the second day of the NATO leaders' summit in England.
He entered the conference on Tuesday triumphant and claiming credit for the defense alliance's budget changes.
But that success waned quickly as the day went on, as French President Emmanuel Macron openly questioned his claims, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appeared to mock him behind his back, and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson refused to be photographed with him.
All of these leaders had been openly diplomatic and friendly with Trump in the past. Their behavior on Tuesday showed a world no longer bothering to take the US president seriously.
Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories.
President Donald Trump entered the NATO summit triumphant, claiming credit for large structural changes in the alliance's defense spending.

But his first day turned out to encompass one embarrassment after another, with multiple world leaders openly sparring with him and appearing to mock him behind his back — suggesting that nobody is bothering to take him seriously anymore

Adam Schiff makes me so proud to be a Liberal. His exemplary professional integrity is above reproach. It’s not lost on me that he’s never felt the need to validate himself whenever Trump blasts him with the small minded name calling on Twitter. He simply ignores him and goes about his day doing what we expect of him. His press conferences are always cogent and coherent. It helps that he comes across as a no nonsense methodical deep thinker. Devin Nunes on the other hand is far too simple minded and unethical to have such a tall task placed within earshot of him. He’s lost sight of who pays his salary. That reason alone is just cause for his removal and trial for treason.

Impeachment legal case is ‘woefully inadequate,’ 'dangerous,' legal expert Turley testifies

An expert legal witness plans to testify Wednesday that the current legal case for impeaching President Trump is “woefully inadequate” and “dangerous,” as the House Judiciary Committee holds its first impeachment inquiry hearing.

According to an opening statement obtained by Fox News, Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University Law School, is prepared to tell lawmakers that, while he is not a "supporter" of the president, he is concerned about the “integrity” of the impeachment process based on the case being built against Trump.

“One can oppose President Trump’s policies or actions but still conclude that the current legal case for impeachment is not just woefully inadequate, but in some respects, dangerous, as the basis for the impeachment of an American president,” Turley wrote in his opening statement.

At the center of the impeachment inquiry, which began in September, is Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the call, Trump pressed Zelensky for investigations that could help him politically, including relating to former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.

Turley, in his opening statement, said, "The reference to the Hunter Biden deal with Burisma should never have occurred and is worthy of the criticism of President Trump that it has unleashed. However, it is not a case of bribery."

Scott, the Clinton impeachment scandal was over domestic policy and a couple lies.

What this President did, has put our Democratic republic in danger because giving the President the right to do anything he wants to do.

It's not about difference on political beliefs, I strongly believe that the President of either party would have dictatorial authority and putting our nation in danger.

The most stunning aspect of the report, to me anyway, was the inclusion of telephone records of House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes, Nunes’ aide Derek Harvey, President Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and investigative reporter John Solomon. Schiff refused to say how he was able to obtain these records.

The mainstream media is abuzz with stories about Nunes communication with “Rudy Giuliani during key aspects of his Ukraine pressure campaign.” Nunes was in touch with John Solomon around the times he published major articles. And on and on. The telephone records don’t include the actual conversations. They identify who was calling whom and how long they spoke.

Schiff has crossed the line of decency with this move. Once again, he has abused his power. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton tweeted that obtaining these records is a remarkable abuse of President Trump’s constitutional rights. I would argue that it’s an abuse of the constitutional rights of all of the above. These are KGB tactics.

There's abuse of power all right, it's just not with Trump.

Your description of those articles of impeachment are woefully wrong. They were based off from the Special Investigator Report that concluded that Clinton had committed actions that Starr would have indicted him for had he not been President.

That not withstanding...

Neither of us supported that impeachment.
I was against it.
You were against it.

So what is your point?

President Donald Trump, seeking to clarify what he meant, said...

Finally I realized, when listening to the lawyers yesterday, what I really meant to say. You see, it's like this. When I said "us," I didn't mean me, or us, but U. S., the entire country. Yes, that's it! When I asked Zelensky to do "us" a favor, I meant I wanted him to help our entire country by investigating the man who looked like he might be my potentially most troubling candidate in the coming election. Yes, that's it! That's what I meant. Nothing wrong with that. (I don't understand why some of my own people were so upset and so insistent on trying to hide that phone call from the public. Why couldn't they see it was a perfect call, with nothing was wrong with it at all?)

Bullshit! says Pelosi, and then she said...

The facts are uncontested. The president abused his power for his own personal political benefit, at the expense of our national security.

His wrongdoing strikes at the very heart of our Constitution. Sadly, but with confidence and humility, with allegiance to our founders and a heart full of love for America, today I am asking our chairman to proceed with articles of impeachment.
