Seems like almost everyone is glad that the terrorist is dead, and even Iranians seem happier with the US Government, than with their own. This is sort of isolating American liberals who seem more concerned over whether or not every member of the Trump administration agreed with the action, than they are with the basic concept that Soleimani was a murder, a terrorist, and is better off dead.
At a certain point in time Democrats have to make it a little less obvious that they have absolutely no concern for the country whatsoever, and rather are obsessed with finding flaws in everything that the President does. They may win court of public opinion on some of these things "short term" as the liberal main stream media goes to bat for them, but over time it starts to wear on people. It become a classic case of the boy that cried wolf. How many times can Democrats feint outrage and disgust over normal everyday actions or even successful actions (such as killing Soleimani), just because they hate the bad orange man?

😂GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: The question is how we get there. We’re seeing now demonstrations in the streets of Iran against the regime. Do you support those protesters and would it be a good thing if they brought the regime down?
HOUSE SPEAKER NANCY PELOSI:Well, the regime — the protesters are — are protesting, as I understand it, this brand of protesters, about the fact that that plane went down. And many students were on that plane. And these are largely students in the street. I think the Iranians should have not had commercial flights going off when there was—
STEPHANOPOULOS: They’re calling out the regime for lying. They’re saying death to Khomeini as well.
SPEAKER PELOSI: Yes. Well, whatever it is. But the fact is this, the — there were protesters in the streets before against the regime. After the taking out of Soleimani, there were protesters in the street, joined together, as you know, against us. That wasn’t good. Taking down this plane is a terrible, terrible tragedy. And they should be held accountable for letting commercial flights go at a time that was so, so dangerous. But there are different reasons why people are in the street. Of course, we would love to see the aspirations of the people of Iran realized with a better situation there, but escalating the situation — unless we’ve exhausted every other remedy 🤣
Chomsky is still alive? Who knew?
It (Gen. Soleimani’s assassination) is at least international terrorism, arguably worse,” Chomsky told major Indian newspaper Hindustan Times.

It's strange that Ch thinks it's deplorable that there are Iranians who are in favor of NOT showing disrespect for the American and Israeli flags as as sign of their hatred for the Iranian hardliners.
Strange too that Trump is vainly trying to court favor with a country he hit with sanctions that are hurtful to their public and threatened to destroy Iranian cultural centers.
pay attention, pederast.
the iranian regime will topple on trump's watch.
0linsky could've had this ten years ago, the iranian populace was desperate for it, but he chose to remain subservient to islam.

US budget deficit running 11.8% higher this year
By MARTIN CRUTSINGER
Today
The U.S. budget deficit through the first three months of this budget year is up 11.8% from the same period a year ago, putting the country on track to record its first $1 trillion deficit in eight years.
In its monthly budget report, the Treasury Department said Monday that the deficit from October through December totaled $356.6 billion, up from $318.9 billion for the same period last year.
Both government spending and revenues set records for the first three months of this budget year but spending rose at a faster clip than tax collections, pushing the deficit total up.
Satire asshole
spending rose at a faster clip than tax collections, pushing the deficit total up.
Supply side economics is fake news
The Congressional Budget Office is projecting that the deficit for the current 2020 budget year will hit $1 trillion and will remain over $1 trillion for the next decade. The country has not experienced $1 trillion annual deficits since the period from 2009 through 2012 following the 2008 financial crisis.
The actual deficit for the 2019 budget year, which ended Sept. 30, was $984.4 billion, up 26% from the 2018 imbalance, reflecting the impact of the $1.5 trillion tax cut President Donald Trump pushed through Congress in 2017 and increased spending for military and domestic programs that Trump accepted as part of a budget deal with Democrats.
The projections of trillion-dollar deficits are in contrast to Trump’s campaign promise in 2016 that even with his proposed tax cuts, he would be able to eliminate future deficits with cuts in spending and growth in revenues that would result from a stronger economy.
For the first three months of the 2020 budget year, revenues have totaled $806.5 billion, up 4.8% from the same three months a year ago, while government spending has totaled $948.9 billion, an increase of 6.3% from a year ago.
Both the spending amounts and revenue amounts are records for the first three months of a budget year. The deficit in December totaled $13.3 billion, slightly lower than the $13.5 billion deficit in December 2019.

His budgets will add $8.3 trillion in four years.
In eight years it will increase by $16.6 trillion"

What system do you like better?
Supply side economics is fake news
The fact that you believe "spending going up" has anything to do with supply side economics is why you are considered the blog clown. The criticism of supply side economics is that "revenues" are supposed to go down.
Again... this is simple. The deficit WILL continue to go up because our entitlement spending continues to go up. The deficit cannot be resolved by cutting discretionary spending, military spending, or with tax increases (that time and time again do not yield the expected results).
It will either go down if we decide to deal with the entitlement crisis, or it will just continue to go up regardless of anything else we do.
Spartacus blames other for his failure, funny he blames Speaker in Name Only Polosi .
"Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) said Monday that the impeachment of President Donald Trump was partly to blame for his decision to drop out of the 2020 presidential race.
In an email to supporters, Booker cited several reasons for leaving the race, including the fact that the president’s impending Senate trial would require him to be in Washington, DC, taking energy away from fundraising efforts, and keeping him away from the campaign trail in early primary states."
Stein's Law
Stein propounded Stein's Law, which he expressed in 1976 as, "If something cannot go on forever, it will stop."[5][6] Stein observed this logic in analyzing economic trends (such as rising U.S. Federal debt in proportion to GDP, or increasing international balance of payments deficits, in his analysis): if such a process is limited by external factors, there is no urgency for government intervention to stop it, much less to make it stop immediately; it will stop of its own accord.[7]

Mourners attend a service in memory of the victims of a Ukrainian passenger plane that crashed in Iran
By Steve Scherer
OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Monday that the victims of the Ukrainian airliner shot down in Iran would still be alive if the recent escalation of tensions in the region had not happened, according to a transcript of an interview with Global News TV.
The U.S. killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad in a Jan. 3 drone strike prompted Iran to launch a missile attack on Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops on Jan. 8, hours before the passenger jet was shot down. All 176 aboard were killed, including 57 Canadians.
"I think if there were no tensions, if there was no escalation recently in the region, those Canadians would be right now home with their families," Trudeau said in the interview.
"And you think tax cuts were a good thing?"
Yes

George Nader, a lobbyist linked to President Trump who later became a witness in Robert Muller’s Russia probe, pleaded guilty Monday to two sex crimes involving children.
Nader, 60, admitted he arranged to transport a 14-year-old boy from Europe to Dulles International Airport for illegal sexual conduct in early 2000, federal prosecutors in Virginia said.
He also admitted he possessed child pornography while he was in New York in 2012.
The crimes took place years before Nader, who has dual American and Lebanese citizenship, became an informal conduit between Trump’s administration and officials in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Russia.
Nader will serve a minimum 10-year sentence for the crimes and could get up to a 50 years at his April 10 sentencing, prosecutors said.

Dayum that makes less sense than most of the gibberish you think is germane.....BWAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! Ironic for someone with no income or job!!!!!!!
Pelosi and Schumer should be careful of what they wish for. If they get the witnesses they want, then it's a certainty that Trump will get his. And if they refuse to show, Trump will scream unfair and the maga nation will back him up. If they do testify, they'll have to be cross examined by the likes of Ted Cruz and Lindsay Graham. And Graham won't protect them the way schiff did.
, Trump will scream unfair and the mega nation will back him up

How sad.....the latest growing segment of the entitlement in the US is farmers......being bailed out by trump.....and you all are thrilled using your tax money to pay for the wall trump said would be paid by mexico.....the pigs at the trough keep swallowing!!!!!
In office, of course, this government hasn’t really worked for them. It has worked for the wealthy and their heirs; for industry and concentrated capital. Trump cut taxes for corporations and slashed regulations on polluters. But his supporters could relish in the anti-immigrant hostility of his administration, as if travel bans and detention camps could actually restore the lost wages of racial advantage rather than build a worse, more precarious world for everyone.
There is, however, at least one place where Trump’s welfare chauvinism has taken hold — his multibillion-dollar payments to farmers harmed by the president’s trade war with China. In the context of his larger attack on the social safety net, those payments, a direct subsidy to a narrow group of favored Americans, are the closest thing to the kind of help Trump promised during the campaign.
In early 2018, Trump announced tariffs on a variety of Chinese goods. China responded in kind with large tariffs on American-grown agricultural products. The brunt of those penalties hit soybean growers in the United States, who sell roughly $14 billion worth of their product to Chinese buyers. As the trade war continued, farmers’ incomes plummeted. In response, the Trump administration announced an assistance plan. Using a New Deal-era law allowing limited agricultural support for struggling farmers, the Department of Agriculture would make direct payments to growers affected by the trade conflict. So far, the administration has distributed roughly $19 billion out of a total package of $28 billion. “These payments,” notes one analysis, “are large enough to constitute the single largest source of subsidies for farmers.”
President Trump bragged about these payments at a recent rally in Toledo, Ohio, and promised even more for the nation’s farmers. “We’re signing a monster,” he said. “A big, beautiful monster. Forty to 50 billion dollars to our farmers.”
But “our farmers” isn’t inclusive of the whole. The vast majority of payments have gone to white farmers, with large landowners the greatest beneficiaries. It’s true that most American farmers are white. But disparities exist nonetheless. In Mississippi, for example, 14 percent of farms are run by black operators, but those farmers have received 1.4 percent of the aid that has been distributed in the state.
Will Scott A**hole apologize for the claim that liberals love with Soleimani?
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) during her floor speech Wednesday accepted House Judiciary Committee ranking member Doug Collins's (R-Ga.) apology for his recent remark that Democrats are "in love with terrorists."
"As I enter into the conversation, I want to thank the distinguished gentleman from Georgia for his apology for his ridiculous remarks about me and House Democrats," Pelosi said as she took to the floor to discuss impeachment. "Thank you, we accept your apology, Mr. Collins. Now I want to go to the purpose of why we are on the floor today."
The Georgia Republican made the comment in response to Democratic leadership's decision to bring up a resolution aimed at reining in President Trump's ability to take additional military action in Iran in the wake of a U.S. airstrike that killed Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
"Nancy Pelosi does it again and her Democrats fall right in line. One, they are in love with terrorists - we see that," Collins told Lou Dobbs last week. "They mourn Soleimani more than they mourn our Gold Star families who are the ones who suffered under Soleimani. That's a problem."
One day after he made the comments, Collins took to social media to issue an apology and retracted his remarks.
"Let me be clear: I do not believe Democrats are in love with terrorists, and I apologize for what I said earlier this week," he tweeted. "I remain committed to working with my colleagues in Congress and with my fellow citizens to keep all Americans safe."
