Recall that after the Kavanaugh hearings were done, but before the committee vote, Democrats leaked that they had a surprise witness they had known about for several weeks, Christine Blasey Ford. Her claim that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school fell apart when the four people she said were present in the house that night all said they had no memory of such an event — not just the sexual assault, but even of being in the house as a group.
So out of the woodwork came multiple other accusers, particularly Julie Swetnick, represented by then-Democrat-presidential hopeful Michael Avenatti.
This is what “to Kavanaugh” something is: to drag a hearing out with serial accusations and accusers so that the process becomes interminable. And this is what is happening with the Democrats’ attempt to remove Trump through impeachment and trial.
And true to form, a new witness is rolled out who supposedly is so important that the trial must turn into an investigative tool not a trial tool.
That person is Lev Parnas who has lots of opinions about Trump’s supposed knowledge of a conspiracy to coerce Ukraine to help Trump’s campaign — but Parnas has no first hand knowledge. And he is an even more suspect character even than Swetnick. Parnas has been charged with conspiracy, including making false statements and falsifying records.
So yeah, while the multiple Kavanaugh accusers appeared to be emotionally disturbed and crying out for attention, Lev Parnas is quite literally a person currently under in indictment for conspiracy, false statements, and falsifying records. The fact that anyone would take this guy seriously (when he literally has no actual evidence of anything) is a remarkable indictment of Trump derangement syndrome.
Imagine, for just a second, if a person facing multiple charges the go to the heart of that person's credibility had stepped up into the limelight and made accusations (with out any actual evidence or proof) against Barack Obama when he was President. What do you suppose the reaction would have been? What I can tell you is that nobody in your main stream media would have taken any of it seriously or given that person the time of day, and for good reason. They probably would have ruined the guy's life for even making such a suggestion.
Imagine if some guy today stepped forward with allegations against Joe Biden, in which he literally produced undated hand written notes stating things like: "12:00 lunch date with Joe Biden to discuss blackmailing Ukrainian President to fire prosecutor that is investigating Hunter." The very idea that it would be considered "proof" of anything would be so absurd that it could not be taken seriously. That person (and that note) would be mocked and laughed at.
Which is "exactly" what we should all be doing with Lev Parnas.

Lev Parnas. He's not a primary person in the trial in the Senate. Pompeo and of course Bolton and the Secretary of Defense have first hand knowledge of the President and his attempt to commit bribery.
