It's not a completely coherent quote because portions of it were direct responses from questions, however I think we all get the main gist of things. Impeachment hearings are not a trial and it's okay to go into them prejudging the outcome. It's also okay to allow yourself to be politically "lobbied" in order to garner a particular vote, just as Senators are lobbied for any sort of vote.

The Economist/YouGov survey found that 45 percent of people think the Senate should remove Trump from office against 41 percent who said it should not. 14 percent were not sure.
The poll of 1,500 adult citizens from YouGov's internet panel, including 1,123 registered voters, was conducted between December 28-31.
