At times Mika Brzezinski seemed to get a little frustrated with Biden, but was it just a calculated media act?



Time will tell whether this is the "start" of what might be happening or whether there is some sort of coordinated effort for the media to allow this to be the "end" of the situation. Some will argue that Brzezinski was hard "enough" on dementia Joe here, but it remained fairly obvious that she was asking the questions that Biden was prepared to answer. A couple of times she may have phrased the same question a different way (at which time Biden got flustered), but it was far less hard hitting than one would expect if Biden was a Republican being accused.

The truth is that Biden is playing revisionist history with his statements surrounding Christine Ford and Brett Kavanaugh. He did not (as he suggests) just demand that women be taken seriously before being vetted and discounted. He argued (more than once) that a women who is willing to take on the lime light and make allegations like this MUST be given the benefit of being believed (not just heard). He also suggested that you needed to believe them even if their facts were not consistent, as Ford's certainly was not. So for him to suggest that his accuser only need to be heard and not believed (based on some inconsistencies on fact which he doesn't fully explain) is definitely a giant act of hypocrisy.

This isn't going to go away as much as many in the media will want it to. Slow Joe got his turn, and now we will start to see Tara Reade make the rounds. We'll see how believable she appears. I suspect it will be more believable than Ford was.
