Polls not anywhere near where Biden needs them to be...

Election 2020: YouGov: Biden +4 | CNBC: Biden +3 | Betting Odds: Trump +8.4

There is a reason why Biden leads in the polls, but is way behind in the betting odds. Pretty much every reasonable person with the sense they were born with understands that the polling right now is going to be wildly biased in favor of the former Vice President, but no where near where he might want them to be.

As hundred die of a virus every day and the country's economy collapses, one might think that the country would be thirsty for change. Especially as the media, in all their glory, attempt to personally blame the President for medical events that have created a world-wide pandemic. Apparently he is the person to blame because he underplayed the threat back in January, or something like that. I am not even sure anymore.

But yet, Dementia Joe manages to do his best Hillary Clinton impersonation by working overtime to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The other day, Slow Joe provided us with an epic performance by suggesting multiple times that of the 600,000 Americans dead form Covid-19 that a large bulk of them were first responders and medical personnel. Of course, he got the casualty number wrong by a factor of ten and pretty much all evidence suggests that the people dying are either retired or unemployed (as in 85%). There is no evidence that it's first responders or medical personnel who are suffering from the virus.

When corrected on the 60,000 vs 600,000 death toll, Biden suggested that he "misread" the number. O.K. Boomer!

The reality is that if Biden is leading by the amounts that these polls are showing, then he will lose in November. Right now he lags behind where Clinton was, and enjoys even less enthusiasm (if possible) than Clinton did. Moreover, the way the country is becoming more partisan and states like New York and California become more liberal... Biden may have to win by three percent or more to win the electoral college.

Biden is way, way, way ahead in the column that most counts, the decency column.

Those good old betting odds had Clinton at 88% to be elected and Trump at only 13% the day before the voting took place.

The Biden campaign will help you refresh your memory.

Sure Reverend...

Perhaps his campaign can.

But Dementia Joe himself has no idea of how many people are even dying.

And as I explained to the lying POS "pastor" before, the enormous prejudice in betting odds and polls against Trump in 2016 make this years current numbers even more impressive and pointing towards a massive Trump victory.

Of course that is above his IQ grade.

Found that "proof" that I lied yet pastor, or have you come to the realization it doesn't exist as I told you ?

Guess the lying was on the other foot.

How Bad Will the April Jobs Report Be?

Neil Irwin:
“When released Friday morning, the April numbers will show exactly how stunning the American economy’s plunge has been. It will be hard to find words to capture what those tables of figures will show.

“The last time the economy was in free fall, I wrote this: 'The economy is unraveling so fast as to defy analysis through the usual statistical models. Among the phrases found in normally sober reports from the nation’s top economic forecasters yesterday: ‘god-awful,’ ‘wholesale capitulation,’ ‘shockingly weak’ and ‘indescribably terrible.’

“That jobs report, from November 2008, indicated that employers had cut 533,000 jobs. Analysts expect the April 2020 job losses to be 41 times worse.”

Here’s a link to the CDC document on reopening the economy that the White House has reportedly told agency scientists “would never see the light of day.”*

It’s clear these guidelines would be very difficult to implement and underscores how much serious work must be done.

SO IS ANOTHER IMPEACHMENT COMING?

OR PERHAPS EVIDENCE OF SOMETHING SO DAMNING IT COULD SINK TRUMP'S REELECTION CHANCES?
_________

WASHINGTON POST:
Trump administration asks Supreme Court to stop release of Mueller material

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to temporarily block a ruling that requires the Justice Department to give Congress certain secret grand jury material from the investigation conducted by former special counsel Robert S. Mueller III.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in March cleared the way for Congress to access secret evidence from Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election in one of a set of separation-of-powers lawsuits between House Democrats and the Trump administration.

(FORMER HEADLINE: Justice Department must disclose secret Mueller grand jury evidence to Congress, appeals court finds)

Solicitor General Noel Francisco told the Supreme Court on Thursday that if it does not put the order on hold, “the government will have to disclose those materials on May 11, 2020, which would irrevocably lift their secrecy and possibly frustrate the government’s ability to seek further review.”

The House Judiciary Committee initially went to court in July before the formal start of its impeachment proceedings involving President Trump’s alleged effort to pressure Ukraine to investigate former vice president Joe Biden. A divided D.C. Circuit found the House was legally engaged in a judicial process that exempts Congress from secrecy rules that typically shield grand jury materials from disclosure.

Although Trump was acquitted by the Senate in February, House Democrats have told the D.C. Circuit that their investigation into possible misconduct by the president is ongoing, and that the grand jury material will inform its determination of whether Trump obstructed Mueller’s investigation and whether to recommend new articles of impeachment.

“This remains true today. The current pandemic notwithstanding, the Committee’s investigation is not ‘dormant.’ The Committee continues to exercise its investigative and oversight responsibilities; its staff are ready and able to review the requested grand jury materials as soon as they are provided by DOJ; and the Committee remains able to convene formal hearings to further its investigation,” House Democrats told the D.C. Circuit in a recent filing.

In its 2-1 opinion, the D.C. Circuit said grand jury records are court records — not Justice Department records — and have historically been released to Congress in the course of impeachment investigations involving three federal judges and two presidents.

The House Judiciary Committee’s “need for the grand jury materials remains unchanged. The Committee has repeatedly stated that if the grand jury materials reveal new evidence of impeachable offenses, the Committee may recommend new articles of impeachment,” wrote Judge Judith Rogers, who was joined by Judge Thomas B. Griffith.

“Courts must take care not to second-guess the manner in which the House plans to proceed with its impeachment investigation or interfere with the House’s sole power of impeachment,” wrote Rogers.

Judge Neomi Rao dissented, saying the House Judiciary Committee lacks legal grounds to ask the court to enforce a subpoena for the grand jury materials. Rao would have returned the case to district court to determine whether the committee can still show its “inquiry is preliminary to an impeachment proceeding and that it has a ‘particularized need’ for disclosure.”

Francisco said that was one of the problems with the circuit court’s decision. He said the Supreme Court needed to weigh in on a case with substantial constitutional questions and that neither it nor another appeals court has directly addressed whether a “judicial proceeding” includes a Senate impeachment.

No one has alleged that Biden committed rape.

Tara Reade has alleged it and she has credible witnesses.

Unlike the multitude of publicity seeking women who accused Trump without a shred of evidence to back them up.

And it's not just Trump the Democrats tried it with, just ask Bret Kavenaugh. It's SOP for Democrats to drag some women out of the woodwork and accuse a prominent Republican in order to derail an election or nomination.

It's a rather disgusting practice and now people are on to it.

But to call Biden decent after all the crap he pulled is just the topper.

Just keeps getting worse for Biden.

Exclusive: 1996 court document confirms Tara Reade shared Biden harassment allegation

The San Luis Obispo County court filing is the first official public record confirming she made allegations at that time.

A court document from 1996 shows former Senate staffer Tara Reade told her ex-husband she was sexually harassed while working for Joe Biden in 1993.

The declaration — exclusively obtained by The Tribune in San Luis Obispo, California — does not say Biden committed the harassment nor does it mention Reade’s more recent allegations of sexual assault.

Reade’s then-husband Theodore Dronen wrote the court declaration. Dronen at the time was contesting a restraining order Reade filed against him days after he filed for divorce, Superior Court records show.

In it, he writes Reade told him about “a problem she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in U.S. Senator Joe Biden’s office.”

But don't folks, James said Biden is a "decent man".
