What about unarmed victims of fatal police shootings? As of June 1, the Washington Post’s data base of fatal police shootings showed nine unarmed black victims and 19 unarmed white victims of fatal police shootings in 2019. That number of black unarmed victims is down 76 percent from 2015, when the Post began keeping its data base. The Post defines “unarmed” loosely to include suspects who have grabbed an officer’s gun or who are fleeing from a car stop with a loaded semi-automatic pistol in their vehicle. Those nine allegedly unarmed black victims represent 0.1 percent of all black homicide victims, which number about 7,500 a year—more than all white and Hispanic homicide victims combined.
So to clarify. For every unarmed black person killed by a police officer, there are approximately a thousand black people killed by regular citizens. Well over 90% of those are at the hands of other black citizens, not part of any law enforcement.
We obviously don't protest the 7500 murders of black people (approximately 20 a day) or we would have no time for anything else. Those black lives don't really matter much.
Instead we wait for however long it takes (sometime years) for a black criminal suspect to be killed by a white police officer, and then we blow our collective gaskets and act as if it is the single most act of criminal insanity that ever took place. Burning, looting, shooting, fighting, vandalizing, stealing, assaulting, etc... all which somehow manages to find "positive" attention by our left wing media.
Oh... and to top it off, these sorts of killing (unarmed blacks being killed by police officers) are down 76% from 2015 (back when Obama was President and we had a protest almost every year). So we have actually seen a vast improvement under this particular President, who is currently being personally blamed by many for the most recent incident.

McGruff The Crime Dog Put Down
NEW YORK, NY—In response to a growing anti-police sentiment, McGruff the Crime Dog has been taken to the vet and put down.
“We just didn’t feel safe with him around,” said activist Ray Clarke, one of the people who demanded McGruff be euthanized. “He was always urging people to ‘Take a bite out of crime,’ and we don’t need more violence like that from law enforcement. He has to die.”
McGruff had long educated people on measures they can take against crime but had recently been criticized for not caring about the racial disparity of his bites out of crime and for his association with the police. That’s why euthanizing McGruff became a part of “defunding the police,” even though technically it was a measure that cost more money (the vet charged $150).
Defenders of McGruff argued that McGruff could just be retired and live on a farm working as a P.I. instead of being put down -- or that at least they didn’t need to tell McGruff he was a “bad, bad dog” before the injection, but activists wouldn’t relent, and the euthanization happened as planned. A small memorial was erected for McGruff, and it has already been vandalized.

The Federal Reserve says it expects real GDP to contract by 6.5% in 2020, with the unemployment rate reaching 9.3% by the end of the year.
Top White House adviser Peter Navarro, it’s safe to say, is not a fan of those projections or of Fed Chairman Jerome Powell’s approach. During a Yahoo Finance interview with Andy Serwer, Navarro commented that Powell has “probably the worst bedside manner of any Fed chairman in history.”

Shortly after Navarro’s remarks, President Trump tweeted his own critique of the Federal Reserve.
