Is rioting an essential business?

You notice that the Covid-19 paranoids that have spent the last few weeks shaming anyone and everyone who has the gall to want to return to some semblance of normal... don't appear to have any issue with the fact that we have thousands of protesters in complete defiance of social distancing and other Covid-19 related precautions. In fact, many of the same folks are defending or cheering them on.

Maybe if they are right about the horrific dangers of being out in public "too soon" then all of these people out protesting will catch Covid-19, face dire medical issues, and we can consider it a self culling of the herd? Maybe these same paranoids can go join in the fun? Or maybe all of the recent demands of continued lock downs are bullshit and the rioters are not really in much danger at all? I really have no idea where these people stand anymore.

It’s pretty amazing how our media elite was able to stop so quickly pretending that we were all going to be doomed by this bat soup virus unless we cowered in our homes when it became useful for people to be out supporting the Democrat agenda of violence and tyranny.

There will be absolutely no meaningful reform of public employee laws or public unions as long as Democrats have any power. If you want reforms that will stop the next Floyd from happening, you should be burning the Democrat Party down, not your own neighborhood.

accidently cut the first paragraph short

I hate to break it to them, but legit protesters have a LOT of organizing and outreach work ahead of them, because if they want to seriously reform the public employee laws that keep bad cops on the beat, they'll have to persuade the inner cities to stop voting Democrat.

It may be that if you watch the video above, it will be followed by videos that show how Trump has grossly misled the people of Kentucky about Obamacare.

voting democrat is a faustian bargain that no one seems willing to abandon. the lure of free shit is too great, and far outweighs the perpetual downside of having corrupt cops on the force.

here in the capitol district of NY we have three city police depts - albany, schenectady and troy - all with democrat mayors and all with entrenched levels of corruption that go back decades.

I don’t know a single American, Democrat or Republican, black or white, who didn’t view the death of #GeorgeFloyd as a horrific tragedy. Our leaders, from the President on down, acted promptly and vigorously to arrest his killer. So why was it necessary to loot our cities?

antifa and it's enablers to unseat an elected president and/or try to stop his re-election

Washington Post:
A Month of Distractions and Grievances for Trump

“When Trump journeyed to the Capitol for the first time during the pandemic, he again allowed his personal concerns to eclipse the crisis engulfing the nation. Over lunch with Republican senators, Trump complained about ‘criminal’ Democrats who had ‘unmasked my children.’ He accused his political opponents of ‘treason.’ He implored his party to ‘stick together’ and ‘be tough.’ And he turned the floor over to his new White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, to deliver a campaign polling presentation aimed at persuading the lawmakers that the president was more popular than public surveys had indicated.

“To some of the senators, Trump seemed obsessed not with saving lives but with appearing politically strong. Several privately concluded he was incapable of meeting the moment. But resigned to their belief that his conduct could not be changed, they did not share their unease with Trump or with the public.

"The following week, the number of dead passed 100,000 and the number of Americans filing for jobless claims went past 40 million.

“Those two days in May encapsulate how Trump spent the fifth month of the coronavirus crisis:
increasingly shaken by a pandemic he could not control;
offering no more than fleeting expressions of grief or empathy;
quick to assign blame to others;
enraged by grievances and feuds;
dismissive of health guidelines;
and concerned, above all, about his diminished reelection prospects.”

NO WONDER TRUMP IS WORRIED:

Washington Post:
Recruitment and Money Woes Undermine GOP Chances

“Vulnerable Democratic incumbents have massively outraised their Republican challengers, national GOP groups have yet to show the ability to make up the fundraising gap, and in several key districts, some of the party’s most coveted recruits have opted not to run. Public opinion polls, meanwhile, indicate a Democratic advantage on the congressional ballot in line with what the party enjoyed in 2018, ahead of their sweeping national gains.”

GOOD NEWS! CHARIOT'S A-COMIN'!

The Lincoln Project goes after Mitch McConnell using an already debunked Dem attack from 2014

Fact Checker

Grimes’ attack on McConnell’s wealth and votes falls short

The Pinocchio Test
This ad, on balance, just narrowly avoids getting Four Pinocchios. While it is correct that McConnell has often voted against boosting the minimum wage, for philosophical reasons, most of the other claims is the ad are false, misleading or lacking important context.

Three Pinocchios

aw shucks.

the stinkin' project dredged up a six year old claim that was false then and is false now.

for chrissakes, even media mutters or think progress wouldn't be this sloppy.

perhaps the morbidly obese george conway can do better next time.

Why would I waste my time on your changing of the subject, Reverend?

You have been one of those advocating that all of these GOP states have goten the Covid-19 response wrong (in spite of dramatically better numbers - both medically and economically).

Why are you now not even willing to address the masses gathering together in spite of these "necessary" social distancing policies?
