It started with Al Gore filing multiple lawsuits, including an attempt to disallow absentee ballots of overseas military personnel. He demanded selective recounts, challenged the certified election results, and several issues made it up the chain to the Florida State Supreme Court and the main issue made it to the USSC. In spite of Bush having the most votes after the first count, the most votes after the second counts, the most certified votes, and never actually trailed at any time, many liberals still demand that he "stole" that election with the help of the USSC.
But it didn't end there. In fact, that was just the beginning. John Kerry and gang protested the results in Ohio, demanding a recount... only to fall well short. Parties friendly to Hillary Clinton demanded recounts in several states, only to fall well short again. Stacey Abrams even today still maintains she was elected Governor of Georgia.
Of all of the recounts and legal maneuvering, only Al Franken (with the help of a liberally friendly Secretary of State) managed to overturn original results of an election. But the fact that they are mostly unsuccessful hasn't stopped Democrats from screaming foul and demanding recounts and legal action every time they lose a close election.
Yet, once again, the left is demanding that they see a hypothetical future where it will be the Republican, not the Democrat who will cry foul and demand that a lost election was actually won. Does anyone have any actual prominent examples of Republicans who lost, not accepting the results and going into some sort of coup? Sorry boys and girls, but this is a classic example of projection.
Democrats are already waging against the possibility that their candidate loses another close electoral college contest, while winning the popular vote. Their insistence that Trump would have not accepted the results (in spite of no evidence for this) - is what they will use to justify everything that they will do to undermine and ultimately attempt to overthrow the results if Trump wins.

Waco, Texas, woman arrested last week and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and driving while intoxicated appears to have been motivated by the QAnon conspiracy theory President Donald Trump spoke positively of during a White House press conference Wednesday.
According to arrest affidavits first reported by the Waco Herald-Tribune, 30-year-old Cecilia Fulbright got behind the wheel of her car just after 9 a.m. Wednesday with the intent to “[save] a child” from “pedophiles.” Fulbright reportedly chased two strangers’ vehicles in an apparent attempt to hit them. According to a Waco police report, the first vehicle was a catering truck driven by a woman with her minor daughter in the passenger’s seat. They successfully evaded Fulbright before calling the police who, according to an incident report, were unable to locate Fulbright or her vehicle. Fulbright then targeted a second unrelated vehicle, a Dodge Caravan driven by a 19-year-old college student. Fulbright chased the student into a parking lot where she cornered and repeatedly rammed the Dodge Caravan.

Wow. What a beautiful finishing touch--the prayers of a lovely Jewish rabbi, of a Catholic father, and of a Muslim imam. All those prayers were special; I was moved by each of them, and I was especially surprised by how beautifully comprehensive and inclusive the imam's prayer was.

The cadences and words of Joe Biden tonight reminded me of the politics of the past, politicians I covered in an age of wide ties and wide lapels. It was a throwback to a time, when some of us (the Vice President, and myself) were much younger and many of voting age today weren't even born.
It may not have been in the style of Cicero, or Barack Obama. But in its own way, it had a strength that summoned the best of American ideals and spoke movingly of this nation's potential if we can rally in unity. It was plain-spoken and delivered in a way true to the man that those of us who have covered him over the decades have seen on and off camera. This nation has witnessed the gaudy sugar rush of a reality TV construction that betrayed a cynical and divisive attack on the American narrative. This speech clearly staked out an opposing topography of decency and empathy.
Of all the speakers at the convention, I suspect Biden could have benefited most from a live audience. But the empty hall spoke of the times in which we find ourselves, which are, in turn, one of the most potent rationales for his candidacy. And it also allowed for an intimacy of delivery and impact.
Biden's words, and more importantly, his delivery, was a refutation of some of the character attacks that have been lobbed against him by the president and his acolytes. Biden was sharp, and focused. But perhaps most importantly, he exuded the basic humanity that has been heralded throughout the convention.
This was not a policy address. There were no 22-point plans, no arching multifaceted outline of legislative activities. It was about a man who wanted to make the case that he would put the needs of the nation ahead of himself.
Joe Biden's path to this moment, in politics and in his personal life, has had immense and heartbreaking hurdles. He touched on that tonight. But more than that he looked straight into the camera and into the eyes of the American people. He seemed to say, I am the man who can understand your pain and I am the man who will roll up his sleeves to make sure we can have better days ahead. Together. As Americans.

More than 70 Republican former national security officials come out in support of Biden
More than 70 former Republican national security officials, including some former members of the Trump administration, came out in support of Joe Biden's bid for president Thursday, according to an open letter that also offered a scathing rebuke of President Donald Trump's first term in office.
"We are profoundly concerned about the course of our nation under the leadership of Donald Trump," the officials wrote. "Through his actions and his rhetoric, Trump has demonstrated that he lacks the character and competence to lead this nation and has engaged in corrupt behavior that renders him unfit to serve as President."
Some signers include former FBI Director William Webster, former Defense Secretary under President Obama Chuck Hagel and former CIA Director Michael Hayden.

The letter outlines 10 reasons the signers believe Trump isn't fit for the Oval Office.

Other items include declarations that Trump is "unfit to lead during a national crisis," "solicited foreign influence," "aligned himself with dictators," "disparaged our armed forces, intelligence agencies, and diplomats," "undermined the rule of law," "dishonored the office of the presidency," "divided our nation," "attacked and vilified immigrants" and "imperiled America's security."

A prominent Washington-based conservative advocacy organization is promoting a deceptive digital ad campaign that is stoking fears about mail-in voting and targeting battleground states with high concentrations of minority voters.
FreedomWorks, the tax-exempt nonprofit that helped launch tea-party protests a decade ago and is now aligned with causes central to President Trump’s reelection, has extensively promoted the website behind the operation, and is the sole organization to do so, according to data from CrowdTangle, a social media analysis tool.
The website, called Protect My Vote, warns baselessly that mail balloting results in “lost votes and lost rights.” An associated page on Facebook has purchased more than 150 ads, which have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times this month. They appear designed to tap existing anxiety about the integrity of the voting system to convince voters in swing states where minority turnout could be decisive that mail balloting is not reliable amid an uncontained pandemic leading many Americans to consider alternative ways to be heard on Election Day.

Some of the paid posts feature an image of LeBron James and misconstrue a quote from the basketball star, falsely suggesting that when he condemned polling closures as “systemic racism and oppression,” he was linking those closures to the expansion of opportunities to vote by mail. He was not.
A longtime adviser to James, Adam Mendelsohn, called the ads “shameless” and “reprehensible,” saying lawyers were examining the matter. He said the misinformation made all the more pressing the efforts by James and other Black athletes and entertainers to protect the voting rights of Black Americans, through a new effort, More Than a Vote.
Peter Vicenzi, communications director for FreedomWorks, said a “partner group” was responsible for setting up the website and placing the ads, though he declined to provide details about the group. He said FreedomWorks is sharing the content because, “Election security is one of our issues,” and did not respond to additional questions about the ad campaign beyond saying of the material about James, “That’s not our ad.”

Tweeted Trump: “In 47 years, Joe did none of the things of which he now speaks. He will never change, just words!”
This was a sharp contrast to the flurry of all-caps tweets he unleashed as former President Barack Obama and Sen. Kamala Harris spoke the previous night.

Joe Biden, the Democratic Presidential nominee, represented his home state of Delaware in the US Senate from 1973 to 2009.
After 2 failed attempts to secure the nomination, 1988 and 2008, Joe finally was handed the torch tonight.
With his bombastic outburst and publically known liking for women, the former Vice President did not really accomplish much for his state over his 36-year career.
As chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee from 1987 to 1995, he oversaw the contentious U.S. Supreme Court nominations of Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas. Thomas, a black conservative judge at the time, called Biden’s handling of his nomination, a modern-day lynching.
In spite of his, what appeared to be racist efforts, Justice Thomas made it through and has been one of the greatest Justices to ever serve on the Supreme Court.
As Mr. Biden’s now running mate Kamala Harris pointed out in the debates, Joe had a problem with bussing black children into white neighborhoods
With his close relationship with former West Virginia Senator and KKK leader, Robert Byrd, the Thomas hearings and the bussing issue, plus other events, there are some good reasons to question Joe’s views on race, but in 2020, the left is ignoring it all.
Most recently Joe said during an interview with a famous back personality named Charlamagne: “You Ain’t Black” If You Vote For Trump!
Tonight a black Trump supporter in Biden’s town of Wilmington, Delaware came out against Joe Biden.
The young black man said that he lives across the street from the projects and he has never seen Biden visit the black community ever in his life.
“Joe Biden doesn’t do nothing here…I live across the street from the projects and I have never seen Joe Biden a day in my life — NEVER! It’s lies!” he said.
“Donald Trump is the change for us,” he said.

Joe Biden has had a very interesting life, but I don't recall his trouble with stuttering being played up so strongly before his clear and unfortunate cognitive decline.
