The Ukrainian natural gas firm that appointed Vice President Joe Biden's son Hunter to a lucrative board seat relentlessly pressured the State Department throughout the 2016 election in an effort to get corruption allegations against it dropped and its badly damaged reputation rehabilitated, newly released government memos show.
"They keep trying through every channel they can," a State Department official lamented in summer 2016, describing a nonstop lobbying campaign by Burisma Holdings and its American representatives.
The memos, released to Just the News under a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit assisted by the Southeastern Foundation, add new significance to a long-running Senate investigation into the Bidens' activities and perceived conflicts of interest in Ukraine.
"We have been so frustrated in our attempt to get the documentation that we need before we can sit down and interview people, and as I understand it, the documents you just obtained in your FOIA request we haven't received unbelievably," Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson said in an interview with the John Solomon Reports podcast.
"I cannot tell you how frustrated and ticked off, I'll use that word, ticked off about where we are here. So yeah, I subpoenaed the FBI. And, you know, expect additional subpoenas to be forthcoming,” Johnson (R-Wisc.) added.
Now what is interesting is that none of this information was presented or provided to either chamber of Congress back when this was thing. As being pointed out here, congressional subpoenas were ignored by our deep state back when we truly needed to see them, only to be uncovered well after the fact due to the FOIA laws.
In case anyone has forgotten. The very concept that Trump was asking the Ukrainian President about Burisma and any political influence there was to get investigations and allegations dropped was considered so outrageous that Democrats demanded he be literally "impeached" just for asking.
Now it shows that sure enough, Burisma political influence wasn't just a thing in Ukraine, but it actually spread into our own government while Obama and Biden were still in charge. Will any Democrat offer the President an apology?
Of course not... not that anyone took their impeachment seriously anyways.

3. You're voting for the next Secretary of Education, Housing Secretary and Attorney General.
4. You are voting for the "down" ballot, as well......to keep the House and to gain majority of the Senate in Congress.
5. You're voting for federal judges.
6. You're voting for the rule of law.
7. You're voting for saving national parks.
8. You're voting for letting kids out of cages.
9. You're voting for clean air and clean water.
10. You're voting for scientists to be allowed to speak and do something to protect us from climate change and pandemics.
11. You're voting for greater transparency and confidence that the President isn't using your tax dollars as a slush fund for his family and friends.
12. You're voting for housing rights.
13. You're voting for former incarcerated persons to be treated with dignity and assisted to be proud and productive members of society when they return.
14. You're voting for everyone to be able to adopt a child without a lot of red tape.
15. You're voting for Dreamers.
16. You're voting so that there will be Social Security and Medicare when you retire...and in your children's future.
17. You're voting for veterans to get the care they deserve.
18. You're voting for rural hospitals.
19. You're voting so that everyone can have access to affordable health insurance.
20. You're voting for teaching to be treated like the noble profession that it is and for teachers to be paid like the heroes they are.
21. You're voting to have a President who doesn't embarrass this country every time he attends an international meeting.
22. And you're voting against allowing the USA to become yet another authoritarian regime.

I know we can't all agree on everything. Now, this is a two candidate race between Vice President Biden and Cheeto Satan. Those are our only choices. One of them will be our President as a result of this election.
The Biden-Harris ticket isn't perfect. No ticket ever was and no ticket ever will be. Perhaps, for whatever reason, Vice President Biden and/or Senator Harris don't pass your purity test. Just know this, they will be much better than four more years of Cheeto Satan and Piglet. We must do all we can to ensure that the Biden-Harris ticket wins!!
