QAnon is so bizarre and rancid that it may be hard to see the Congressional QAnon Caucus pulling in dozens of current members. Nevertheless, it’s a mark of how morally vacuous the GOP has become that its leaders can’t bring themselves to condemn a movement that proclaims that Democrats are cannibalistic, satanic sex traffickers.
Which, of course, only allows the movement to burrow its way further into the Republican Party. Think about what will happen in 2022 if Biden is elected this year. Just as the 2010 midterm elections were dominated by tea partiers who considered establishment Republicans weak and feckless — and won primaries because their supporters were the angriest and most motivated — one could easily imagine five or 10 or 20 QAnon Republicans winning races in the most conservative districts.
There will be some kind of backlash to a Biden presidency; we can’t predict with certainty what form it will take. But the lure of conspiracy theories is that they help their adherents make sense of a confusing world, convincing them that they have access to truths hidden from others and making them feel special and powerful.
Donald Trump was elected, in no small part, because he told disaffected white people that he could help them to take back the social primacy and dignity they felt had been stolen from them by forces larger than themselves: corporations, popular culture, increasing diversity, even modernity itself. What QAnon offers is not that different, even if it’s in a more deranged form.
So even if QAnon isn’t the vehicle for the inevitable conservative backlash, something like it — perhaps a QAnon Lite — could be. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
Under Trump, the GOP has become a party of white nationalists and conspiracy-mongers. I had feared that the Republican swing to the far right would lead the Democrats to go to the far left — and Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-Vt.) brief run as the Democratic front-runner had confirmed my concerns. But the ticket of Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala D. Harris (Calif.) is as mainstream and moderate as you can get. Trump & Co. can bellow all day long that they are lackeys for Sanders and “the Squad,” but it’s simply not credible. The Republican Party, by contrast, isn’t just catering to extremists — it’s led by one.

There is a way around it: 1. Request a mail-in ballot. 2. Do not mail it. 3. Google your supervisor of elections to see where you can drop off your mail-in ballot. Its usually NOT THE POLLING PLACE. All states allow this!
Here is what you're accomplishing by doing this:
1. Your ballot gets in on time no matter what happens to the USPS. 2. You don't have to worry about standing in long lines and risking infection. You're just stopping by to drop it off. 3. You still voted! Hooray!
Also, when you drop it off, find out how to track it online to make sure it is verified. California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado have systems that can track your ballot just like tracking a package from Amazon.
All CA vote centers (which are open for weeks to a month before election day) have ballot drop-off boxes too! Many government buildings have them as well, so there's no need to wait until election day when it's crowded to drop them off. The list of drop-off sites is always posted on each county's voter info website.

Robert, who had been out of the public eye since his brother’s election to the White House, issued a statement in which he said he was “deeply disappointed” by Mary’s decision to write the book.
“I and the rest of my entire family are so proud of my wonderful brother, the president, and feel that Mary’s actions are truly a disgrace,” Robert Trump said in the statement. He did not speak publicly about the matter, continuing the near silence he had maintained throughout the presidency. A court allowed the book to be published and let Mary give interviews about it.
Robert Trump’s marriage to the former Blaine Beard, a socialite and philanthropist, ended in divorce. He had adopted her son Christopher from an earlier marriage. At the time of his divorce in 2008, the New York Post estimated Robert Trump’s fortune at $200 million.
In recent years, he lived in Millbrook, N.Y. This year, he married Ann Marie Pallan, according to the New York Post.
In addition to his wife and President Trump, survivors include two sisters, retired federal judge Maryanne Trump Barry and Elizabeth Trump Grau.

As the country's presidential election draws nearer, Farr dislikes the idea of voting for a Democrat. But the idea of giving President Donald Trump another term irks him even more.

There is a way around it:
1. Request a mail-in ballot.
2. Do not mail it.
3. Google your supervisor of elections to see where you can drop off your mail-in ballot. Its usually NOT THE POLLING PLACE. All states allow this!
Here is what you're accomplishing by doing this:
1. Your ballot gets in on time no matter what happens to the USPS.
2. You don't have to worry about standing in long lines and risking infection. You're just stopping by to drop it off.
3. You still voted! Hooray!
Also, when you drop it off, find out how to track it online to make sure it is verified. California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado have systems that can track your ballot just like tracking a package from Amazon.
All CA vote centers (which are open for weeks to a month before election day) have ballot drop-off boxes too! Many government buildings have them as well, so there's no need to wait until election day when it's crowded to drop them off. The list of drop-off sites is always posted on each county's voter info website.
And in California, someone else can drop off your ballot for you!
