Now we could believe that this was all done unintentionally. After all, these liberal hacks may have actually been too stupid to use a cell phone properly. But I think we all know that as stupid as they all were, they were probably not "that" stupid.
But the fact that it was done at all is still a pretty big problem. That almost none of the cell phones assigned to the workers of special counsel have any information left on this is not something that can be honestly explained away under any circumstances.
What did they have to hide? Or another way to ask the question is to wonder what it is that they had to hide that justified them destroying public records in a manner that could very well be charged as criminal. What could be so embarrassing and problematic that they would put themselves in legal jeopardy to hide it?

That wasn’t enough for him, he volunteered for the American and Canadian First Special Service Force. That was quite the move because that was going to be a unit trained to meet the enemy in the Pacific and Europe in combat The FSSF was the first of the special forces we know today. He told me that at the time he was very proud of our country and wanted to make his Father proud. His Mother was an American but his Father was a green card holding Canadian who loved American. His father came here when he was a teenager and never left, working in the Lyon Mountain Mines and the farms in the area. He followed his father into the mines doing demolition. In the FSSF he was a mortar man. On the Anzio breakout on May 25th my father, part of the 3-1 division of the FSSF, moved out and their company was so fast and efficient that they actually got ahead of their cover on the left and right flanks and were pinched to a move by the Germans on the Mussolini Canal. Thirty men from the 3-1 were pinned down by a Panzer Division. The men tried to break out of a culver where they had taken cover but were overwhelmed by machine fire. They were all captured and taken up the rail road track to a German Staging area for interviews. From there they were shipped to POW camps in Germany. My Father was taken to Mossberg Stalag 7A. He was there until liberated in April of 1946. When he came home to my mother he weighed 125 lbs. and had no front teeth. Totally debilitated but still American and a lifelong Republican. If he was alive today he would have ripped up his Republican card and joined me in voting Democrat. He was so proud of what he went through and often told us stories about how he survided. Biden’s investment fund BHR co-purchased Henniges Automotive with Chinese military contractor AVIC, which has been identified as front for China's military and was sanctioned before the Obama administration approved Biden-connected sale.
For Biden, a four-decade advocate of trade and friendly relations with Beijing, it was a stunning turnabout that signaled the Democrat was concerned President Trump was winning the election-year battle over U.S.-China policy as tensions in the South China Sea, a trade war, and growing espionage cases created a Cold War-like atmosphere with China.
But for U.S. security experts, it was remarkable for another reason: An investment fund named Bohai Harvest RST (BHR) partly owned and directed by Biden's son, Hunter, and Secretary of State John Kerry's stepson, Chris Heinz, had just a few years earlier played a vital role in facilitating the sale of the Michigan-based auto parts maker Henniges Automotive to one of China's main military aircraft makers, Aviation Industry Corporation of China or AVIC.
That 2015 transaction approved by the Obama administration and its Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) came just 15 months after the United States publicly added one of AVIC's subsidiaries to a Commerce Department blacklist (known as the "Entity List") and just months before the Obama administration resumed patrols in the South China Sea because of increased Beijing military aggression in the region, where AVIC-built military jets partake in China's activities.
The timing has left many, including Senate Finance Committee chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), questioning whether the CFIUS decision whitewashed security concerns because the vice president's son was involved in the transaction. Those concerns were heightened this June when the Pentagon listed the entire AVIC conglomerate on a list of companies subject to future sanctions because of its ties to the People's Liberation Army.
Grassley demanded a briefing from Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin last year, saying he was concerned because the Obama administration allowed the transaction to proceed even though Henniges possessed "anti-vibration technologies with military applications" and AVIC had a history of ties to China's military aggression dating to at least 2007. Officials said what Grassley learned in a classified briefing only heightened his concerns.
