Hypocrisy is now the bedrock of Twitter

Trump campaign asks Twitter to mark Biden coronavirus ad as manipulated media, but company refuses
The Trump campaign on Tuesday asked Twitter to label a video posted by Joe Biden's campaign as manipulated media over a clip that they say takes President Trump's words out of context and has been repeatedly fact-checked as incorrect manipulation, but the company declined to do so, according to emails obtained by Fox News.
The video purports to contrast what Trump says in public versus in private on the coronavirus, accusing him of lying to the public. One of the examples of Trump's public comments in the video is from a Feb. 28 campaign rally at which Trump appears to be calling the coronavirus a hoax.
"The coronavirus, and this is their new hoax," Trump is heard saying in the Biden video.
The president did not say "this is their new hoax" immediately after he said "coronavirus" in his original comments, as the ad makes it appear. He made the hoax comment several sentences later. Trump was still talking about the coronavirus when he said the "hoax" part of the comment, but it was in reference to the media and how it covered his impeachment trial.

This has been a manipulation and a "hoax" from day one from the Democrats. But as we have found out over the past three years, if someone lies about Trump, the left immediately believes it's true and is willing to stick to it even when it's proven false.

This video is exactly what manipulation is about in advertising. The video "literally" dubs two statements together that are not actually together, making Trump's statements to be about calling the virus a "hoax" when he actually calls the media response to his handling of Covid as a "hoax".

Never once did Trump claim that the virus was a "hoax". He only suggested that the many false claims from the media about the White House and Task Force response was a "hoax". If you are allowed to make a video where you take a comment and associate it with something completely different... and that is not considered "manipulation" then I am not sure what is manipulation?

Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Three out of four young people who died from COVID-19 in the United States had underlying health conditions, according to data released Tuesday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The analysis of the 121 Americans age 21 and younger who died from the virus between Feb. 12 and July 31 also revealed that 70% were aged 10 to 20 years, the agency said.

i would hope that at this point the right has finally accepted the fact that twitter, fakebook, google, the entire MSM and people they haven't even considered yet are going to use every tool at their disposal to promote a radical left agenda while simultaneously silencing the right.

Between now and the election Big Tech and the MSM will be doing there best to try and take down Trump. The good thing is there is wide awareness of this and the repeated attacks are so overblown that they may actually end up helping Trump, much like Clinton in his impeachment.

And then Trump can fix it for all going forward.

We hear often that the November election is the most consequential in our lifetime. But the importance of the election is not just which candidate or which party wins. Voters also face the question of whether the American democratic experiment, one of the boldest political innovations in human history, will survive.

Our democracy’s enemies, foreign and domestic, want us to concede in advance that our voting systems are faulty or fraudulent; that sinister conspiracies have distorted the political will of the people; that our public discourse has been perverted by the news media and social networks riddled with prejudice, lies and ill will; that judicial institutions, law enforcement and even national security have been twisted, misused and misdirected to create anxiety and conflict, not justice and social peace.

If those are the results of this tumultuous election year, we are lost, no matter which candidate wins. No American, and certainly no American leader, should want such an outcome. Total destruction and sowing salt in the earth of American democracy is a catastrophe well beyond simple defeat and a poison for generations. An electoral victory on these terms would be no victory at all. The judgment of history, reflecting on the death of enlightened democracy, would be harsh.

The most urgent task American leaders face is to ensure that the election’s results are accepted as legitimate. Electoral legitimacy is the essential linchpin of our entire political culture. We should see the challenge clearly in advance and take immediate action to respond.

The most important part of an effective response is to finally, at long last, forge a genuinely bipartisan effort to save our democracy, rejecting the vicious partisanship that has disabled and destabilized government for too long. If we cannot find common ground now, on this core issue at the very heart of our endangered system, we never will.

Our key goal should be reassurance. We must firmly, unambiguously reassure all Americans that their vote will be counted, that it will matter, that the people’s will expressed through their votes will not be questioned and will be respected and accepted. I propose that Congress creates a new mechanism to help accomplish this purpose. It should create a supremely high-level bipartisan and nonpartisan commission to oversee the election. This commission would not circumvent existing electoral reporting systems or those that tabulate, evaluate or certify the results. But it would monitor those mechanisms and confirm for the public that the laws and regulations governing them have been scrupulously and expeditiously followed — or that violations have been exposed and dealt with — without political prejudice and without regard to political interests of either party.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Also, this commission would be responsible for monitoring those forces that seek to harm our electoral system through interference, fraud, disinformation or other distortions. These would be exposed to the American people in a timely manner and referred to appropriate law enforcement agencies and national security entities.

Such a commission must be composed of national leaders personally committed — by oath — to put partisan politics aside even in the midst of an electoral contest of such importance. They would accept as a personal moral responsibility to put the integrity and fairness of the election process above everything else, making public reassurance their goal.

Commission members undertaking this high, historic responsibility should come from both parties and could include congressional leaders, current and former governors, “elder statespersons,” former national security leaders, perhaps the former Supreme Court justices David Souter and Anthony Kennedy, and business leaders from social media companies.

This commission would be created by emergency legislative action. During that process, its precise mandate, composition, powers and resources would be defined. Among other aspects, the legislation would define the relationship between the commission and the intelligence and law enforcement communities with the capability necessary for the commission’s work. And it would define how the commission would work with all the individual states.

Congressional leaders must see the need as urgent and move quickly with common purpose. Seeking broad bipartisan unity on such an initiative at such a fraught time goes against the nature of the political creatures we have become. But this is the moment and this is the issue that demands a higher patriotism. No member of Congress could have any valid reason to reject any step that could contribute to the fundamental health of our Republic. With what should be the unanimous support of Congress, the legislation must call upon the election campaigns of both parties to commit in advance to respect the findings of the commission. Both presidential candidates should be called upon to make such personal commitments of their own.

If we fail to take every conceivable effort to ensure the integrity of our election, the winners will not be Donald Trump or Joe Biden, Republicans or Democrats. The only winners will be Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping and Ali Khamenei. No one who supports a healthy democracy could want that.

A retired U.S. Marine slammed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden for an “abhorrent” story he shared about a veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Retired Marine Johnny “Joey” Jones told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday that he was “personally offended” by the story Biden shared at a campaign stop in the battleground state of Florida where he spoke on veterans issues. The former vice president pressed for an end to the “stigma” around mental health treatment as he told the story in Tampa on Tuesday.

Jones questioned whether Biden’s story was even “grounded in fact” as he reacted on Fox News Wednesday, adding that it was “the worst thing I’ve ever heard a presidential candidate say about men and women serving.”

“There was a Marine veteran that had been deployed a total of six times,” Biden recounted in his speech Tuesday.

Dodge Ram started down the street in front of his house. .. [He] saw a woman walking her dog, ran over her, killed her, killed the dog, put her in the back of his pickup truck… molested her … came home … and called the state police and said, ‘I just killed someone,’” he continued.

“There was a voice in my head saying, ‘I have to kill someone,’” Biden added, going on to say, “We have to end the stigma surrounding mental health treatment.”

Jones, who lost both of his legs in an IED explosion while serving in Afghanistan, told “Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy that Biden’s story “literally equates serving in war to becoming evil,” and that it “undid 10 years of work in the military nonprofit mental health community of actually removing a stigma.”

Where things stand
As President Trump makes increasingly impassioned promises that a vaccine will become available within weeks, scientists and experts have been left to throw cold water on his claims.

Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said in testimony before a Senate committee yesterday that a vaccine would not be widely available until the middle of next year and that masks would remain essential to fighting the disease. Ultimately, he said, wearing masks might be more important than a vaccine.

The president quickly lashed out, rejecting the scientific findings of his own government in particularly stark terms, even for him. “I think he made a mistake when he said that,” Trump said in comments to reporters hours later. “It’s just incorrect information.”

Trump went on to say that a vaccine would be available “immediately” and that “under no circumstance will it be as late as the doctor said.”

Joe Biden has been saying almost daily that Trump is treating the vaccine as a political tool and cannot be trusted with information about it. “I trust vaccines,” Biden said yesterday during a speech in Delaware, shortly before Trump made his comments about Redfield. “I trust the scientists, but I don’t trust Donald Trump. And at this moment, the American people can’t either.”

One of the co-founders of the official Black Lives Matter group, Alicia Garza, is reportedly partnering up with a Chinese organization that has deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party — and that group now appears to be funding one of Garza’s ventures, according to an investigation by the Daily Signal.

Garza is one of several co-founders of the official “Black Lives Matter” group, and in 2018, she launched a project called “Black Futures Lab,” which aims, its website says, to help activists in the black community maintain interest in civic participation and civic activism year-round. The group “gathers information about the ways that policy affects Black communities and one that uses that information creatively to educate and challenge policymakers.” It also lobbies on behalf of BLM’s interests at the local level.

The Daily Signal’s Mike Gonzalez, though, discovered that donations to the Black Futures Lab don’t seem to go directly to the foundation itself but rather to a group called the “Chinese Progressive Association” — a group that has deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

“According to an authoritative 2009 Stanford University paper tracing its early days to the present, and which can be found on Marxist.org, ‘The CPA began as a Leftist, pro-People’s Republic of China organization, promoting awareness of mainland China’s revolutionary thought and workers’ rights, and dedicated to self-determination, community control, and “serving the people,”‘” Gonzales reports.

“To this day, the CPA continues to be a partner of the PRC in the United States. Three years ago, the Boston chapter teamed up with China’s Consulate General in New York to offer Chinese nationals the opportunity to renew their passports, getting praise from China’s official mouthpiece, China Daily,” he continues. It also helped raise the Chinese flag over Boston City Hall to honor the anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party’s takeover of China.

“It is clear, then, that CPA works with China’s communist government, pushes its agenda here in the United States, and is regularly praised by China’s state-owned mouthpieces,” Gonzalez says. “It is clear, too, from, this perspective, why the CPA would sponsor a new enterprise by Garza: They espouse the same desire for world communism.”

WORTH REPEATING, FROM EARLY THIS MORNING:
Trump Accused of Sexual Assault by Former Model
6:24 am EDT

Former model Amy Dorris told The Guardian that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her at the U.S. Open in 1997. Dorris, who was 24 at the time, described her encounter with Trump to The Guardian.

Said Dorris: “He just shoved his tongue down my throat and I was pushing him off. And then that’s when his grip became tighter and his hands were very gropey and all over my butt, my breasts, my back, everything.”

She alleged she told Trump “No, please stop” but “he didn’t care.”

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

A former model has come forward to accuse Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her at the US Open tennis tournament more than two decades ago, in an alleged incident that left her feeling “sick” and “violated”.

In an exclusive interview with the Guardian, Amy Dorris alleged that Trump accosted her outside the bathroom in his VIP box at the tournament in New York on 5 September 1997.

Dorris, who was 24 at the time, accuses Trump of forcing his tongue down her throat, assaulting her all over her body and holding her in a grip she was unable to escape from.

“He just shoved his tongue down my throat and I was pushing him off. And then that’s when his grip became tighter and his hands were very gropey and all over my butt, my breasts, my back, everything.

“I was in his grip, and I couldn’t get out of it,” she said, adding: “I don’t know what you call that when you’re sticking your tongue just down someone’s throat. But I pushed it out with my teeth. I was pushing it. And I think I might have hurt his tongue.”

Via his lawyers, Trump denied in the strongest possible terms having ever harassed, abused or behaved improperly toward Dorris.

Dorris, who lives in Florida, provided the Guardian with evidence to support her account of her encounters with Trump, including her ticket to the US Open and six photos showing her with the real estate magnate over several days in New York. Trump was 51 at the time and married to his second wife, Marla Maples.

Her account was also corroborated by several people she confided in about the incident. They include a friend in New York and Dorris’s mother, both of whom she called immediately after the alleged incident, as well as a therapist and friends she spoke to in the years since. All said Dorris had shared with them details of the alleged incident that matched what she later told the Guardian.

Dorris, now 48 and a mother to twin daughters, said she had considered speaking publicly about the incident in 2016, when several women made public similar accusations against the then Republican candidate for president. But she decided against coming forward, in part because she thought that doing so might harm her family.

“Now I feel like my girls are about to turn 13 years old and I want them to know that you don’t let anybody do anything to you that you don’t want,” she said. “And I’d rather be a role model. I want them to see that I didn’t stay quiet, that I stood up to somebody who did something that was unacceptable.”

Dorris said she spent several days with Trump in September 1997 after being taken to New York for a long weekend by her then boyfriend, Jason Binn. At the time, Dorris was living with friends in Boca Raton, Florida, regularly travelling to Miami for modelling and occasional acting work. Binn, the founder of several luxury fashion and lifestyle magazines, was a friend of Trump; in 1999, he reportedly described the real estate businessman as his “best friend”.

On Friday 5 September, Dorris said Binn took her to meet Trump at his office in Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan, before they went together to the US Open in Queens.

“He came on very strong right away,” Dorris said of Trump. “It seemed typical of a certain guy, people who just feel like they’re entitled to do what they want … even though I was there with my boyfriend.”

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

The couple were joined by other friends of Trump in his private box, a luxury carpeted suite that had a balcony overlooking the court. Photos from the day show Dorris alongside Trump and his friend Marylou Whitney.

Dorris said the alleged assault occurred when she got up to go to the bathroom, which was hidden behind a partition wall just metres from where Trump’s guests were watching the tennis. “I was having some issues with my contact lenses,” she said. “I remember going in there to moisten my lens.”

When she came out, she alleges, Trump was waiting outside. “Initially I thought that he was waiting to go to the bathroom, but that wasn’t the case, unfortunately,” she said. She alleges Trump forced himself on her after a brief exchange in which she recalls nervously laughing and telling him: “No, get away.”

She alleged she told Trump “no, please stop” but “he didn’t care”. “It doesn’t matter who you are,” she said. “Any time anyone says no, no means no. And that just didn’t work out for me. It wasn’t enough.”

“I just kind of was in shock,” she added. “I felt violated, obviously. But I still wasn’t processing it and just was trying to go back to talking to everyone and having a good time because, I don’t know, I felt pressured to be that way.”

Dorris cannot recall if she told Binn the full details of the alleged assault, but she says she asked him to tell Trump to leave her alone. She said she told Binn: “He’s all over me. I can’t deal with this. You have to do something.”

Attorney General William Barr on Wednesday ripped efforts by governors around the country to prevent the spread of coronavirus with stay-at-home orders, calling such plans the "greatest intrusion on civil liberties" since slavery.

Speaking at an event at the conservative-leaning Hillsdale College in Michigan, Barr lashed out at governors in both parties who opted to shutter nonessential businesses amid the pandemic and order residents to stay home whenever possible.

But WHO regional director Hans Kluge said that the increase in cases should serve as a warning of what is to come:

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio “once again delayed the start of most in-person classes in the New York City public schools, acknowledging that the system had still not fully surmounted the many obstacles that it faced in bringing children back during the pandemic,” the New York Times reports.

“The abrupt announcement was a blow to the mayor’s effort to make New York one of the few major cities in the nation to hold in-person classes. THE REST OF THE STORY?
Trump accused of groping model at U.S. Open in 1997: The Guardian
New York Daily News
Sep 17th 2020 11:58AM

A former model has accused President Trump of groping her during an encounter at the U.S. Open tennis tournament 23 years ago.

Amy Dorris, now a 48-year-old mother of twin girls, says Trump fondled her and forced his tongue down her throat in his VIP box at the stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens during the 1997 tournament, The Guardian reported.

“He just shoved his tongue down my throat and I was pushing him off,” Dorris told the paper. “His grip became tighter and his hands were very gropey and all over my butt, my breasts, my back, everything.”

Dorris says she told relatives and a therapist immediately after the alleged sexual assault, but did not report the attack to the police due to fear of public humiliation.

According to the Guardian’s reporting, Trump emphatically denied the claim through his lawyers.

He has previously flatly denied claims of sexual assault, fondling and making unwanted advances made by several women over the years.

Dorris said she and her then-boyfriend were invited to attend the tennis tournament by Trump, then a high-flying New York mogul who was married to his second wife, Marla Maples.

She told the paper she emerged from the private bathroom in the luxury box when Trump was waiting for her. That’s when he allegedly grabbed her and initiated the unwanted contact.

Even though Dorris said she told confidantes about the incident in real-time, she said she avoided speaking publicly for fear of harming her family.

Trump’s lawyers say the then-boyfriend told them that he does not recall Dorris mentioning the incident to him. He didn’t comment to The Guardian.

Dorris told The Guardian that she considered going public during the 2016 presidential campaign when several other women accused Trump of unwanted advances, but worried about the impact on her young daughters.

Now that the girls are nearly teenagers, Dorris wants them to know she didn’t keep quiet.

“I want them to know that you don’t let anybody do anything to you that you don’t want,” Dorris told The Guardian. “And I’d rather be a role model. I want them to see that I didn’t stay quiet, that I stood up to somebody who did something that was unacceptable.”

Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Russia is again using social platforms to denigrate Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in a "very active" attempt to influence the U.S. election, FBI Director Director Christopher Wray told Congress Thursday.

Wray testified before the House homeland security committee with National Counterterrorism Center Director Christopher Miller to address "worldwide threats" to the United States.

The FBI chief told the panel the Kremlin "continues to try to influence our elections, primarily through what we call malign foreign influence."

"We certainly have seen very active efforts by the Russians to influence our elections in 2020," he added, saying the efforts are using social and Russian media. The Kremlin's main goal, he noted, appears to be denigrating Biden in addition to "what the Russians see as a kind of anti-Russian establishment."

FBI director Wray says Russia is actively interfering in 2020 election to 'denigrate' Biden
Updated 11:37 AM ET

Washington (CNN)FBI Director Christopher Wray said Thursday that Russia has been "very active" in its efforts to influence US elections, with the primary goal being to "denigrate" Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Testifying before the House Homeland Security Committee, Wray told lawmakers that Russia is primarily interfering through "malign foreign influence in an effort to hurt Biden's campaign" -- echoing the intelligence community's public assessment on Moscow's meddling efforts issued last month.

Wray's comments come as President Donald Trump and several other top administration officials have recently attempted to play up the theory that China is meddling to get Biden elected, while downplaying well-founded reports that Russia is trying to help Trump win again, like it did in 2016.

Foreign election interference efforts differ from what was observed in 2016, when there was also an effort to target election infrastructure, Wray said. "We have not seen that second part yet this year or this cycle, but we certainly have seen very active, very active efforts by the Russians to influence our election in 2020," he added.

According to Wray, Russia is using social media, proxies, state media and online journals to sow "divisiveness and discord" and "primarily to denigrate Vice President Biden and what the Russians see as kind of an anti-Russian establishment."

Intelligence officials have said they have uncovered evidence that Russia is currently interfering in the election to hurt Biden's campaign. Separately, some evidence has already emerged about Moscow's efforts, including Facebook's announcement earlier this month that a troll group that was part of Russia's attempt to interfere in the 2016 election is trying to target Americans again.

But while the intelligence community has assessed that China and Iran prefer Trump to lose in November, officials have offered no indication, to date, that either country is acting on that preference in the same way as Russia, according to public statements issued by the intelligence community and sources familiar with the underlying evidence.

"We assess that China prefers that President Trump -- whom Beijing sees as unpredictable -- does not win reelection. China has been expanding its influence efforts ahead of November 2020 to shape the policy environment in the United States, pressure political figures it views as opposed to China's interests, and deflect and counter criticism of China," the top US intelligence official on election security, Bill Evanina, said in an unprecedented public statement issued last month.

Evanina went on to say, "China will continue to weigh the risks and benefits of aggressive action," but to date has primarily engaged in overt efforts like ramping up public criticism of the current administration over non-election-related issues, including its coronavirus response and move to close Beijing's consulate in Houston.

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

Russia, on the other hand, is using a range of measures primarily to denigrate Biden and what it sees as an anti-Russia establishment, Evanina wrote in the same statement.

"This is consistent with Moscow's public criticism of him when he was Vice President for his role in the Obama Administration's policies on Ukraine and its support for the anti-Putin opposition inside Russia," Evanina said. "Some Kremlin-linked actors are also seeking to boost President Trump's candidacy on social media and Russian television."

But in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer earlier this month, Attorney General William Barr went out of his way to dilute the intelligence community's assessment that Russia is again actively interfering in a US election.

"I accept that there is some preliminary activity that suggests that they might try again," Barr said of Russia. "It wouldn't surprise me if Russia tries something again of the same general genre before."

US intelligence officials and the Senate Intelligence Committee have made bolder assertions warning of the threat Russia poses this year after it hacked the Democrats in 2016 and ran social media influence operations during the 2016 and 2018 elections.

"The threat is ongoing," Sen. Richard Burr, a North Carolina Republican who chaired much of the Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation into Russian election interference, said in a statement last month after the panel released the findings of its bipartisan probe. "My hope is that this report and the Committee's work will provide the American people with more insight into the threats facing our nation and the steps necessary to stop them."

NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD PATRIOTS TO COME TO THE DEFENSE OF OUR COUNTRY AGAINST TRUMP AND PUTIN AND THEIR GOP CRONIES.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

rrb is going to go crazy!

FBI Director Christopher Wray rejected the notion that Antifa is the “biggest threat” to the United States when he testified before the House Homeland Security Committee — instead describing it as “more of an ideology or a movement than an organization.”

During the Thursday hearing, Committee Chair Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) asked Wray what currently acts as the biggest threat to homeland security, questioning if it’s either right or left-wing radicals.

Wray noted that the title of “biggest threat” cannot be attributed to one group or organization, but is often lone agents who have self-radicalized themselves online and pursue easy or soft targets.

“If you compare the threat I just described to the sort of Al-Qaeda sleeper cells of old, that group, the sleeper cells, you’ve got a group of people colluding, conspiring, fund-raising, planning, preparing, communicating,” he added. “So there’s a lot of dots out there to connect if the intelligence community and law enforcement know where to connect, and it usually occurs over a long period of time.”

Thompson then questioned if officials who are painting Antifa as the biggest threat to the United States have a valid point, later asking if there should be an investigation looking into the movement.

“Well, we don’t really think of threats in terms of left or right in the FBI ,” Wray responded. “Our domestic violent extremists include everything from racially motivated violent extremists…all the way to anti-government, anti-authority violent extremists.”

“We look at Antifa as more of an ideology or a movement than an organization,”

The Constitution of the United States turns 233 years old today. From the beginning,it was an imperfect document that established a deeply flawed nation. But it set our country on a path of hope and renewal. The Founding Fathers would not recognize the nation or the form of government we have become. By almost any measure, we have made great progress towards a more just, more equitable, and perfect union.

But as we are seeing today, that progress is both perilous and incomplete. For far too long the basic protections of our national charter have not extended equally to all of our fellow citizens. The deep, blood-soaked stain of slavery remains not only far from reconciled but a renewable current of pain, loss, and injustice. Racism, xenophobia, misogyny, have all been, and continue to be, embedded throughout our society.

Now we have as a president just the sort of would-be despot the Founders feared. He is corrupt, impervious to knowledge, lacking empathy, and unserious in performing the basic charges of the office. He has weakened this nation, at home and abroad. There is great suffering and loss because of his failed leadership. And he has been bolstered by a level of cultish political factionalism that those who wrote the Constitution deeply feared.

The march of freedom, begun in Philadelphia, is not assured to continue. But we can also not be fatalistic about its demise. This nation has faced great tests in its past. It has stumbled. It has failed. But it has endured, and more often than not has found a path of positivity and progress. That is the legacy bequeathed to us by the will of countless courageous women and men who refused to let stand the gulf between the promises of the Constitution and the realities of law and governance.

This is our moment to pick up that banner, to once more embrace the best of what the Constitution has to offer and use it to repudiate the defiling of democracy that defines the current age. We must vote, in the face of voter suppressions. We must re-establish the norms of governance, in the face of those who would sow chaos. We must see our injustices with clear eyes and demand solutions of ourselves in the face of those who would hold on to power by distorting the realities of our history through self-serving fables.

The Constitution is but words on a piece of paper. They are powerful words, revolutionary words, hopeful words. But ultimately they derive their meaning from us, the governed, through our votes. I see the dark clouds that loom, but I also believe a brighter day is sitting there beyond the horizon if we have the resolve and determination to make it so.

The Department of Education has informed Princeton University that it is under investigation following the school president's declaration that racism was "embedded" in the institution.

President Christopher L. Eisgruber published an open letter earlier this month claiming that "[r]acism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton" and that "racist assumptions" are "embedded in structures of the University itself."

According to a letter the Department of Education sent to Princeton that was obtained by the Washington Examiner, such an admission from Eisgruber raises concerns that Princeton has been receiving tens of millions of dollars of federal funds in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which declares that "no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

Eisgruber's letter branding the 274 year-old university racist came after a summer of unrest rife with race riots and an open letter from hundreds of Princeton faculty members who wrote, "Anti-Black racism has a visible bearing upon Princeton’s campus makeup." The admission was followed by dozens of "anti-racist" policy change demands. Among them were calls for select faculty race quotas and to "reconsider" the use of standardized testing for admissions.

Now, the Education Department has sent a formal records request as they pursue their investigation. Their main point of contention is whether Princeton has lied to the public with their marketing and to the Department in their promise to not uphold racist standards in accordance with receiving federal funds.

President Christopher L. Eisgruber published an open letter earlier this month claiming that "[r]acism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton" and that "racist assumptions" are "embedded in structures of the University itself."

LOL, guess the low hanging fruit is the white supremists running these institutions and their cohorts. Fire them and any white supremist professors who have imbedded themselves immediately. And the entire HR staff who was in charge of hiring these racists.

Full circle accomplished.

We have found the enemy !!!

Biden's tax plan won't raise many Americans' taxes, unless you're rich

American households earning less than $400,000 won't see a tax increase under Joe Biden's tax plan, but the top 0.1% could end up paying as much as an extra 12.4%, an analysis by the University of Pennsylvania shows.
The ultrawealthy will also see cuts to their take-home pay due to higher corporate taxes under the Biden plan.
President Trump said he would seek to lower all Americans' taxes once again if reelected, but has not shared any plans for how to do so.
Visit Business Insider's homepage for more stories.

Former Vice President Joe Biden doesn't plan "the biggest tax increase in history" on "middle-class families, small businesses, and seniors," as ads run by President Trump's reelection campaign claim, a new analysis of Biden's tax plan by the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business' Budget Model found.

Instead, Biden's plan has Americans with household incomes under $400,000 paying the same tax rate they have been since the president cut taxes in 2017, according to the report.

Wealthier Americans, however, should prepare to pay up. The former vice president proposed a variety of modifications to the current tax law, including repealing parts of Trump's tax law, raising corporate taxes and taxes on foreign profits, closing loopholes in real estate tax code, and eliminating fossil fuel subsidies.

President @realDonaldTrump announced that he will sign an Executive Order establishing a commission to promote patriotic education: The 1776 Commission!

I think this is a good move by the president to counter Nicole Hannah Smith's wildly offensive and inaccurate 1619 project.
