Now that Governor Pritzker has pretty much shut down the states (no indoor service at bars or restaurants, mandatory quarantines, mask mandates, no public meetings of any kind over 25 guests or 25% capacity, limited personal social gathering of no more than six guests or 10 guests in an outdoor setting)... amazingly (or not so much) things continue to get worse.
Oh in what can only be described as rich hypocrisy and irony, the Governor is requiring 14 day quarantines from people arriving from "other states"... as if it's the fault of "other states" that Illinois is looking like they are going to be Florida or Arizona on steroids as it pertains to Covid cases and deaths. Of course the states left out of their quarantine list are liberal states like California and New York (where yesterday alone they accounted for nearly 13,000 new cases). But you have to quarantine for 14 days if you come from Alaska (which reported less than 100 new cases and 1 new death yesterday putting them at 98 deaths since the whole thing started).
Think about that for a second... the state that just broke the single day record for most cases and reported nearly 200 deaths in a single day is suggesting that the real danger lies with a state that has 6.5 times less deaths per million than Illinois. But they have no issues with the state that more than doubles their own death per million statistic?
The only real question here is whether or not this incompetence resides solely at the leadership level or if the people of Illinois are to blame as well?

Each state is different. Population density isn't effecting North and South Dakota.
They have the highest infection rates.
The Dakotas. Iowa, Wyoming, and Nebraska have higher per 100k

Looks like Roger gave you a pretty good answer, Ch.
He supplied us what your cowardly refusal to keep posting the statistics in your sidebar does not.
CH is predictable. When I check Trump tweets xss he's posting something to support the lame duck President.
I don't call him the President anymore because he's a lame duck.
Thank you Roger...
for providing actual data and not some cut and paste.
I agree with James that this is a pretty good explanation.
Although it still seems odd that states with lower rates of infections need to be quarantined to protect his state.
James, I spent 17 years evaluating information. It was construction, but it's highly complex.
Scott, there are many issues that effect the rates. Not only politics.
Noem has refused to listen to the medical expert.

North and South Dakota now face a predictably tragic reality that health experts tell USA TODAY could have been largely prevented with earlier public health actions.
Pandemics require people to give up some of their freedoms for the greater good, University of British Columbia psychiatry professor Steven Taylor told USA TODAY. In conservative regions like the Dakotas and elsewhere in the world, it's common to see pushback like an “allergic reaction to being told what to do,” said Taylor, author of "The Psychology of Pandemics".
But months of lax regulations have contributed to a growing public health crisis in the Dakotas.
This is one of the reasons I support the democratic party. Properly designed regulations can save lives but still doesn't damage capitalism.

DeSantis Floats Idea to Bypass Swing State Voters

Florida Gov. “He urged viewers to donate to Trump’s legal fund and suggested people living in battleground states with GOP legislatures, specifically Michigan and Pennsylvania, contact their state lawmakers who could provide ‘remedies.'”

Hi Dennis, hope you are doing well.
Nancy Pelosi has zero intentions of working with the Republicans in the house in the new Congress.
Dismissing Biden's call for working together.
Scott should start a new post on the transition.
The Fake news New York times reported that many Republicans have saying that it's time to move on!
Even as a growing number of top Republicans urged President Trump on Sunday to allow for an orderly presidential transition, the president himself, after briefly appearing to acknowledge his election loss, resumed spreading the kinds of baseless accusations about election fraud that his supporters have continued to embrace.
Though his tweet on Sunday morning appeared to provide some recognition of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory, the president quickly walked back his statement, asserting in a separate post that “WE WILL WIN!” He continues to claim, without evidence, that the election was rigged, including falsely asserting that poll watchers were not allowed to observe ballot counting and that the tabulation machines were tainted. His campaign has filed lawsuits in several states challenging the results, which were met by a series of losses in court.
Thousands of the president’s supporters rallied behind him in Washington on Saturday, though Mr. Trump’s press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, offered an exaggerated assessment that over a million marchers attended. The day’s events were largely carried out in an orderly manner, but the night became more violent, and the police had made 21 arrests and one person was stabbed.
John R. Bolton, Mr. Trump’s former national security adviser, on Sunday urged Republican leaders to acknowledge Mr. Trump’s election defeat, and is part of a growing list of party members who are either rebuking the president’s baseless claims of election fraud or calling for a smooth presidential transition.
In an interview on ABC’s “This Week,” Mr. Bolton implored Republicans to discredit claims of election fraud that Mr. Trump has propagated. He warned of the threat to the country if Mr. Trump made “life as difficult as he can” for the incoming administration and called recent litigation by the Trump team “the legal equivalent of pitching pennies.”
“I think it’s very important for leaders of the Republican Party to explain to our voters — who are not as stupid as the Democrats think — that, in fact, Trump has lost the election and that his claims of election fraud are baseless,” Mr. Bolton said.
Another former Trump national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, admonished the president for his claim on Twitter that the presidential election was rigged against him.
“What the president says in this tweet, it’s just wrong, it’s regrettable, it’s counterproductive,” General McMaster said in an appearance on CNN on Sunday. “I think our democracy could be stronger than ever.”
Some Republican governors have also acknowledged the need for a smooth transition. On NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Gov. Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas said he expected that Mr. Biden would be the next president of the United States and stated that Mr. Biden should have access to intelligence briefings. Mr. Hutchinson also stressed the need for a smooth transition of power for the distribution of a coronavirus vaccine. He acknowledged, however, that there was “a process” to accepting the outcome of the election, including the recount in Georgia.
Fatty I was wrong that kids parents are pushing 750lb to half a ton
Their forks killed them not covid
Likewise, Gov. Mike DeWine of Ohio, who is a supporter of Mr. Trump, said on Sunday that it was “important for a normal transition” to the next presidential administration to begin. Speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Mr. DeWine said, “We have to have faith in our judicial system, faith in our electoral system.”
He voiced support for the president’s various legal challenges to the election, saying, “No one should begrudge him that or say that there’s anything irregular about that.” But he stopped short of agreeing with their purpose.
“On the other hand,” Mr. DeWine said, “it’s clear that, certainly based on what we know now, that Joe Biden is the president-elect. For the country’s sake, it’s important for a normal transition to start through.” He added, “We need to begin that process.”
Miles Taylor, a former top official at the Department of Homeland Security who wrote the 2018 anonymous New York Times Op-Ed criticizing the president, joined a list of over 150 former national security, senior military and elected officials who called on the leader of the General Services Administration, Emily W. Murphy, to recognize the president-elect and vice president-elect. The letter was reported earlier by Politico.
Anthony Scaramucci, who served a brief stint as White House communications director, had also denounced Mr. Trump’s claims of election fraud as “absolutely shameful” and “dishonest.”
John F. Kelly, Mr. Trump’s former chief of staff, told Politico that Mr. Biden should begin to receive intelligence briefings, and that a delayed transition was detrimental to the country’s national security.
Trump is putting the nation at risk.

President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani on Sunday insisted that the presidential election would be “overturned,” claiming he had “evidence” that “corrupt machines” had deleted millions of votes for Trump — but couldn’t share it.
In an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” the ex-Big Apple mayor, who was recently tapped to lead Trump’s post-election legal fight after his predecessor contracted COVID-19, claimed that the president had actually won the key swing states that were called for Joe Biden.
“In every one of those states, we have more than enough illegal ballots already documented to overturn the result in that state,” Giuliani said, erroneously claiming that the mail vote was invalid because Republicans hadn’t been allowed to observe the count.
“They didn’t allow Republicans in those key places to observe the mail vote. That makes the mail vote completely invalid,” he told anchor Maria Bartiromo.
The story has been debunked by the AP and the New York times .
The machine is from Canada .
The Dominion software was used in only two of the five counties that had problems in Michigan and Georgia, and in every instance there was a detailed explanation for what had happened. In all of the cases, software did not affect the vote counts.
In the two Michigan counties that had mistakes, the inaccuracies were because of human errors, not software problems, according to the Michigan Department of State, county officials and election-security experts. Only one of the two Michigan counties used Dominion software.
Issues in three Georgia counties had other explanations. In one county, an apparent problem with Dominion software delayed officials’ reporting of the vote tallies, but did not affect the actual vote count. In two other counties, a separate company’s software slowed poll workers’ ability to check-in voters.

The ritualistic exhibition of destructive behaviors in city after city is without precedent in America. Neither the civil rights demonstrations nor the protests against the war in Vietnam looked remotely like this. The differences demand explanation. Blame what you will on the usual bête noirs: Donald Trump, cancel culture, police brutality, political tribalism, the coronavirus pandemic, far-right militias, BLM, antifa. All these factors feed the “demand” side of the protests and rioting, the reasons for the ritualistic enactment. But what about the “supply” side—the ready and apparently inexhaustible ranks of demonstrators themselves? What explains them?
The answer cannot be “racism.” The spectacle of often-white protesters screaming at sometimes-black policemen undercuts anything dreamed of by Critical Race Theory. So do the actual statistics concerning cop-on-black crime. So do public attitudes. In 2017, according to Pew Research, 52 percent of respondents said that race “doesn’t make much difference” in marriage, and another 39 percent said that interracial marriage is “a good thing.” When 91 percent of the public shrugs at or applauds interracial marriage, it is absurd to speak of a spectral racism that permanently and irredeemably poisons society.
So, here’s a new theory: The explosive events of 2020 are but the latest eruption along a fault line running through our already unstable lives. That eruption exposes the threefold crisis of filial attachment that has beset the Western world for more than half a century. Deprived of father, Father, and patrium, a critical mass of humanity has become socially dysfunctional on a scale not seen before.

The United States surpassed 11 million coronavirus cases Sunday, less than a week after it reached 10 million, according to the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center.
The U.S. leads the world in both cases and in deaths, with 246,006 fatalities, according to the data.
Saturday marked the eleventh consecutive day with over 100,000 COVID-19 cases recorded, health data showed. In the last week, the U.S. has reported a new weekly record of cases, with 989,825.
That means approximately one in every 331 Americans tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
I am completely unsure of whom the word salad our resident Alky is attempting to address.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley said the U.S. military did not take an oath to “an individual,” but the Constitution, as President Donald Trump continued his reshuffle of the Pentagon in the wake of sacking Defense Secretary Mark Esper.
Speaking at Fort Belvoir in Virginia on Veterans Day, the top general reiterated that servicemembers did not take an oath to any individual person, religion, country or tribe as he opened the new National Museum of the United States Army.
Delivering his remarks on Wednesday, Milley said: “We are unique among armies, we are unique among militaries. We do not take an oath to a king or queen, or tyrant or dictator, we do not take an oath to an individual. No, we do not take an oath to a country, a tribe or a religion.
“We take an oath to the Constitution, and every soldier that is represented in this museum—every sailor, airman, marine, coastguard—each of us protects and defends that document, regardless of personal price.”
Milley has long respected and spoken about the military’s oath to the Constitution over any one individual or entity, but repeated his position as the Pentagon saw several members of its leadership team depart this week.
Defense Secretary Mark Esper was the first to be fired by Trump on Monday after it was reported that he had prepared a resignation letter in the wake of the commander-in-chief’s election defeat.
National Counterterrorism Center Director Christopher Miller was appointed as acting defense secretary in Esper’s stead, with Trump announcing the shakeup on Twitter and promising that Miller would do a “GREAT job” at the helm of the Pentagon.
A further three Defense Department exits were announced by the Pentagon in a Tuesday press release. Dr. James Anderson, acting under secretary of defense for policy, the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Mr. Joseph Kernan, and Esper’s Chief of Staff Jen Stewart were all said to have handed in their resignations in the wake of Esper’s sacking.
“I want to thank Dr. Anderson, Admiral Kernan and Jen Stewart for their service to the nation and the Department,” Acting Defense Secretary Miller said in a statement. “Over their careers each has contributed greatly to the national defense and the future of the Department of Defense. We wish them the best in their next endeavors.”
The Intercept also reported on Wednesday that Mark Tomb, the deputy chief of staff to the undersecretary of defense, had also been removed from the department as part of the administration’s shakeup.
It is unclear why President Trump has chosen to reshuffle the top of the Pentagon with weeks left in his presidency, but there have been speculative reports that the appointment of loyalists could be part of an attempt to bring more U.S. troops home from service in the Middle East.
He spoke out. Most of the time, generals don't speak out.
Milley said the U.S. military did not take an oath to “an individual,”

Giuliani said earlier today that he had proof of a sorting machine had malfunctioned with 600,000 ballots. The lame duck President has withdrawn a lawsuit just a few minutes ago.
President Trump’s campaign on Sunday scrapped a major part of its federal lawsuit challenging the election results in Pennsylvania.
Trump’s attorneys filed a revised version of the lawsuit, removing allegations that election officials violated the Trump campaign’s constitutional rights by limiting the ability of their observers to watch votes being counted.
Trump and Rudolph W. Giuliani, his personal attorney, have said repeatedly that more than 600,000 votes in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh should be invalidated because of this issue.
Trump’s pared-down lawsuit now focuses on allegations that Republicans were illegally disadvantaged because some Democratic-leaning counties allowed voters to fix errors on their mail ballots. Counties have said this affected only a small number of votes.
Cliff Levine, an attorney representing the Democratic Party in the case, said on Sunday evening that Trump’s move meant his lawsuit could not possibly change the result.
“Now you’re only talking about a handful of ballots,” said Levine. “They would have absolutely no impact on the total count or on Joe Biden’s win over Donald Trump.”
Kathy Boockvar, Pennsylvania’s Democratic secretary of state, submitted a court filing in response to the Trump campaign’s actions reiterating her request for the judge to dismiss the lawsuit.
The shift comes amid a string of losses in the Trump campaign’s post-election legal effort, which claimed without evidence that voter fraud, irregularities and rule-breaking led to President-elect Joe Biden’s victory. Taken together, the flurry of post-election litigation has affirmed the integrity of the election: many of the complaints have been tossed, and not a single vote has been invalidated.

The Coronavirus Is Resurging Everywhere
6:49 pm
Wall Street Journal:
“In earlier surges, infections were concentrated in cities such as New York and Chicago, or populous states like Florida and Texas. Many of the outbreaks then were linked to travelers returning from overseas or so-called superspreading events such as conferences, weddings and rallies.
“Now, it is everywhere. People are becoming infected not just at big gatherings, but when they let their guard down, such as by not wearing a mask, while going about their daily routines or in smaller social settings that they thought of as safe—often among their own families or trusted friends.
“The number of confirmed cases is rising significantly in all but a few states… Most of the new cases are in the Midwest, which is experiencing a major surge. But even states and cities that had successfully beaten the virus down to low levels are struggling with rising numbers of illnesses.”
Associated Press: “More than 11 million cases of the coronavirus have now been reported in the United States, with the most recent million coming in less than a week.”

But nothing compares to the record of the #NeverTrumpers at the Lincoln Project, the New York Jets of political action committees that attracts tons of broadcast and social media attention based almost solely on its ability to troll in the most self-righteous (and self-serving) ways. Part of that attention included a profile last month on the highest-rated broadcast news magazine in the country, the venerable “60 Minutes” on CBS.
The #NeverTrump group includes former 2008 McCain presidential campaign manager Steve Schmidt, “Republican strategist” Rick Wilson and George Conway, the husband of former Trump White House counselor Kellyanne Conway. Overall, the group spent more than $67 million in an attempt to impact various 2020 races.
Result: President Trump received more votes than any Republican in history, amassing more than 73 million votes and breaking the previous GOP record he set in 2016. As far as biting into Trump's base, which apparently was the “Republican” group's core mission, the president received support from 91 percent of Republicans, according to a Fox News voter analysis, up from four years ago. Whoops.
But the real failure occurred in the Senate results, where the Lincoln Project threw $12 million at seven Democratic candidates in key races in an effort to flip the chamber back to the Democrats. Final score on that front: Republicans 7, Democrats 0.

A key advantage of Moderna’s vaccine is that it does not need ultra-cold storage like Pfizer’s, making it easier to distribute. Moderna expects it to be stable at standard refrigerator temperatures of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius (36 to 48°F) for 30 days and it can be stored for up to 6 months at -20 degrees Celsius.
Pfizer’s vaccine must be shipped and stored at minus 70 degrees Celsius, the sort of temperature typical of an Antarctic winter. At standard refrigerator temperatures, it can be stored for up to five days.
The drugmaker Moderna announced on Monday that its coronavirus vaccine was 94.5 percent effective, based on an early look at the results from its large, continuing study.
Researchers said the results were better than they had dared to imagine. But the vaccine will not be widely available for months, probably not until spring.
Moderna is the second company to report preliminary data on an apparently successful vaccine, offering hope in a surging pandemic that has infected more than 53 million people worldwide and killed more than 1.2 million. Pfizer, in collaboration with BioNTech, was the first, reporting one week ago that its vaccine was more than 90 percent effective.

This could get the blue collar, non college educated, but skilled tradesmen, to support the Democrats in record numbers.
Ronald Reagan used social issues to get the blue collar voters. In my experience in the constitution trades, many people voted for Republicans, despite the fact that Republicans despise unions. The Biden administration has detailed plans.
Employers should anticipate major changes to national labor policy when President-elect Joe Biden assumes the Oval Office. Changes will likely seek to increase union membership by facilitating organizing, shortening election periods and reducing the bargaining period for the first collective bargaining agreement. The Biden administration will seek to effectuate these policy changes using a combination of legislation and revisiting Trump-era National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) decisions.
In February 2020, the House of Representatives passed the Protecting the Right to Organize Act of 2019 (PRO Act), one of the most significant pieces of labor legislation since the Taft-Hartley Amendments of 1947. The PRO Act did not pass the Republican-controlled Senate.
Among other things, the PRO Act would ease employee classification, facilitate faster organizations, and shorten representative elections by codifying several Obama-era decisions and rule-makings. Most significantly, the PRO Act would substantially alter the test for determining whether an independent contractor is really an employee by codifying the “ABC” test used by the California Department of Labor. Under the “ABC” test, to prove that a worker is an independent contractor rather than an employee, the employer must demonstrate that:
the employer does not control or direct the performance of the work both under the terms of the employment contract and in practice.
the work performed is outside the usual course of business for the employer.
the worker ordinarily performs the same work as part of an independently established trade, occupation or business.
Because the “ABC” test requires an employer to meet all three prongs before classifying workers as independent contractors, its application tends to favor the classification of individuals as employees. This is important because, under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), only employees have the right to organize.
Even if the Democrats are unable to regain control of the Senate in January, it is likely that a newly-appointed Biden NLRB would revisit a number of Trump NLRB decisions, particularly those that overturned Obama-era determinations.
First, a Biden NLRB would likely reinstate Specialty Healthcare, 357 NLRB 934 (2011), which the Trump NLRB overruled in 2017. In Specialty Healthcare, the Obama NLRB endorsed the concept of “micro-units” when evaluating potential bargaining units. Under the “micro-unit” standard, the NLRB presumes that a bargaining unit is appropriate when it is composed of employees that perform the same job at the same facility regardless of whether other employees share a community of interest with that unit. This means that organizing efforts can target a smaller group of employees to organize, allowing the Union to gain a “toe-hold” in an employer’s operation from which it can expand its representation.
Second, a Biden NLRB would likely also reinstate Purple Communications, 361 NLRB 1050 (2014), which the Trump NLRB overturned in 2019. In Purple Communications, the Obama NLRB determined that employees had a NLRA-protected right to use their work email accounts for organizing purposes even if the employer prohibited non-work related use of work emails accounts. Reinstating this decision would be a boon for organizers looking to use employer provided email accounts as a way to organize — and it would require employers to review their handbooks to make sure their email use rules do not run afoul of NLRB law.
Finally, a Biden NLRB would likely return to the joint-employer test articulated in the Obama-era decision Browning-Ferris Industries, 362 NLRB 1599 (2015). In that decision, the NLRB expanded the joint-employer standard by holding that an employer’s status as a joint-employer hinges on the employer’s reserved right to control employees as well as its indirect control over employees. The Browning-Ferris decision relaxed the previous joint-employer standard, which required a demonstration that the putative joint-employer actually exercise direct control over the employees in question. By relaxing the joint-employer standard, employees may assert their right to bargain with both their direct employer and the company that contracted their services. Browning-Ferris has the potential to lead to increased bargaining across a variety of industries, particularly those industries that rely on a franchise model.
In sum, major changes to labor policy do not hinge solely on the Democrats winning both January run-off elections in Georgia. Regardless of the outcome of the Senate run-off elections, the composition of the NLRB will change under the Biden administration, likely resulting in a return to Obama-era precedent in key areas, including unit composition, joint-employer status and the rules around organizing activity.
fuck unity. fuck healing. and most of all fuck YOU:
Political unity is an ugly, authoritarian idea. No free nation has domestic political unity, nor should it aspire to it.
What "unity" really means is capitulation. America is once again being subjected to the inane brand of pseudo-patriotic sloganeering we saw during President Barack Obama's tenure. Now, as then, the media will pretend that the moral fabric of the nation must be mended after GOP rule. It's pretty transparent.
When Dems win the presidency, we are treated to solemn calls for national restoration; the opposition must embrace decorum and pass legislation it opposes. When Republicans win elections, grown women put on knitted hats depicting their reproductive organs and stomp around DC protesting, all to media adulation...
...We do that sort of thing in Washington. The liberal pivot from #Resistance to "unity" is as swift as it is dishonest. After four years of treating every unexceptional conservative policy victory as one of the Seven Seals of the Apocalypse, Washington Post columnists are already dusting off their columns about "obstructionism" and "minority rule." After years of blanket opposition to Trump, we are being told that Joe Biden has a national "mandate."
He does not. G-d willing, Washington is headed for more "gridlock" -- a completely healthy, organic reflection of the geographical, ideological and theological differences of real people in contemporary America. Congress makes laws, and right now, that institution is narrowly divided and unlikely to be able to come together on any of the big-ticket items Biden promised. This is why federalism exists.
Unity is found in comity with your neighbors, in your churches and schools, in your everyday interactions with your community. Politics is not a place for unity. It is a place for airing grievances. And we've got plenty.

Top Oregon Republican to Defy Governor on Thanksgiving
7:49 am
In defiance of Oregon Gov. Kate Brown’s (D) orders, one of Clackamas County’s top elected officials plans to host a large dinner in her home on Thanksgiving despite the raging COVID-19 pandemic, the Oregonian reports.
Said Tootie Smith (R): “My family will celebrate Thanksgiving dinner with as many family and friends as I can find. Gov Brown is WRONG to order otherwise.”
Bonus Quote of the Day
“I will say that I’m not surprised that somebody like Trump could get traction in our political life,” he said. “But if we were going to have a right-wing populist in this country, I would have expected somebody a little more appealing… I guess I would not have expected someone who has complete disdain for ordinary people to be able to get attention and then the following from those very same people.”
— Barack Obama, in an interview with The Atlantic.
Trump Campaign Lawsuits Fizzle
7:35 am
ABC News: “The Trump campaign and its supporters have filed at least 18 cases in battleground states, targeted because the president trailed Democrat Joe Biden by a comparatively narrow margin. With rare exception, the Trump campaign has been losing in court — regardless of whether the judges were appointed by Democratic or Republican presidents. The filings have only garnered two favorable rulings to date, and numerous denials and dismissals.”
Will Trump Burn the Evidence?
7:31 am
Jill Lepore: “Hardly a day passes that Trump does not attempt to suppress evidence, as if all the world were in violation of an N.D.A. never to speak ill of him. He has sought to discredit publications and broadcasts that question him, investigations that expose him, crowds that protest him, polls that fail to favor him, and, down to the bitter end, ballots cast against him.
“None of this bodes well for the historical record and for the scheduled transfer of materials from the White House to the National Archives, on January 20, 2021. That morning, even as President-elect Joseph R. Biden, Jr., is ascending the steps of the Capitol, staffers from the archives will presumably be in the White House, unlocking doors, opening desks, packing boxes, and removing hard drives. What might be missing, that day, from file drawers and computer servers at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is difficult to say.
“But records that were never kept, were later destroyed, or are being destroyed right now chronicle the day-to-day doings of one of the most consequential Presidencies in American history and might well include evidence of crimes, violations of the Constitution, and human-rights abuses. It took a very long time to establish rules governing the fate of Presidential records. Trump does not mind breaking rules and, in the course of a long life, has regularly done so with impunity. The Presidential Records Act isn’t easily enforceable. The Trump Presidency nearly destroyed the United States. Will what went on in the darker corners of his White House ever be known?”

Biden IRS Could Finally Give Up Trump’s Tax Returns
6:36 am
“President Trump’s defeat will make it a lot easier for Democrats to finally get his tax returns, and some prominent lawmakers plan to keep the heat on the incoming Biden administration and House leaders to deliver,” Politico reports.
“Once Biden controls the Treasury Department, his administration could simply hand over the long-sought records to its allies in Congress, who have been fighting in court to force Trump to turn them over, so far unsuccessfully.”
"I guess I would not have expected someone who has complete disdain for ordinary people to be able to get attention and then the following from those very same people.”
