So imagine that someone is taking credit card information over the phone, or processing credit card information on line in order to approve a purchase. Imagine if the person attempting to charge on that credit card only had the card number, but not the expiration date, or the CVC security code on the back, or even the zip code associated with that card.
The reality is that without a valid expiration date, the CVC code, or basic information like the zip code, there is no way to garner any sort of approval for that purchase. Why? Because the valid owner of that card would know this information and someone attempting to commit a fraud would not. It's for our own security that a retailer will not approve a purchase if the alleged cardholder is lacking fundamental information about our card.
But imagine that the clerk on the other end of the phone, taking the credit card information for that $10,000 transfer from said credit card to a anonymous bitcoin account decided to call his credit resources, find that missing expiration date, CVC code, and zip code and approve the transfer in spite of not being given that information by the person trying to use the card? Imagine that the clerk just claimed that the missing information was little more than mistakes that needed to be "cured" so the purchase could be approved.
Imagine how quickly that clerk would be fired and probably investigated for fraud.
Now ask yourself why is it that states require basic information to be included on a mail-in or absentee ballot? Why is the address, a signature, and a date stamp required for a ballot to be considered legal? For the exact same reasons that a credit card transactions need information above and beyond the credit card number. To make sure that the person who is filling out the ballot is the person who actually supposed to be. Because the actual person would know his/her address, would be able to provide a signature, and would be able to put it in the mail in time. Someone posing as another person or otherwise attempting to poach a ballot from someone would not necessarily know the address or be able to create a matching signature. Someone stuffing a ballot box would not be in a position to have a date.
So the issue is one entirely built on security of our elections (which should be no less secure than our credit card transactions). We would never let someone taking a credit card transaction to "cure" missing information. Why is it that we feel compelled to "cure" an American election ballot under similar circumstances?

The election is over.
What’s happening
All available evidence shows that the 2020 presidential election was conducted fairly. A group of international election observers found no signs of significant fraud. Top election officials from 49 states told the New York Times that there were no irregularities that affected the results. A group of top government and industry officials said the election was “the most secure in American history.”
Despite the total lack of substantive evidence that the election was illegitimate, President Trump continues to insist that he, not Joe Biden, is the winner of the race. In addition to a flurry of often provably false claims made by Trump and his allies on social media, the Trump campaign has filed a wave of lawsuits in key swing states.
This legal strategy has little chance to change the results of the election, most experts say. Some of the campaign’s claims were dismissed as frivolous. Others fell apart under scrutiny. Those that appear to merit consideration concern a small number of votes and would have little impact on the final tally. Even if every accusation made by the Trump campaign were to be proven true, which they aren’t, they wouldn’t affect nearly enough ballots to flip a single state, let alone the several states Trump needs to overcome Biden’s sizable Electoral College advantage.
A number of media reports suggest there’s significant doubt within the GOP that Trump will be able to stop Biden from becoming president, but few top Republicans have directly stated that view publicly. Some, like Sen. Lindsey Graham, have emphatically backed Trump’s false claim that the election was stolen. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and many other key GOP figures have taken a less definitive stance in which they have avoided discussing the merits of Trump’s allegations but have also declined to acknowledge Biden’s win.
If the fraud claims are untrue, and wouldn’t change the result of the election even if they were true, what do Trump and his fellow Republicans have to gain by refusing to accept that Biden will be the next president?
Why there’s debate
Trump’s actions are unsurprising, many argue, given his long history of rejecting outcomes that didn’t go his way and his frequently stated distaste for “losers.” But there could be something more strategic guiding his refusal to concede, others say. Casting doubt on Biden’s win allows Trump to position himself in a leading role in the Republican Party even after he’s left office. If Trump, or one of his children, is planning a future run for president, it makes tactical sense to give his supporters a reason to keep fighting on his behalf, some argue.
Those with a more cynical view say the legal challenges are largely an effort to inspire one last wave of fundraising while Trump is still in power. The Trump campaign has sent a flurry of emails asking supporters to donate to an “Official Election Defense Fund,” but the fine print of those messages shows that most of that money will go elsewhere.
Republicans, for their part, have every incentive to stand by Trump, political experts say. Without the backing of the millions of new voters Trump brought into the GOP fold, the party will have a hard time winning close elections — including the two upcoming Senate runoffs in Georgia that will decide who controls the Senate. Republicans also benefit from a certain swath of the public believing that Biden is an illegitimate president, since it could allow them to oppose his agenda more aggressively, some argue.
What’s next
Each state has its own timeline for resolving election disputes and certifying the results, a process that must be completed in all states by Dec. 8. The Electoral College will then vote on Dec. 14. Barring a shocking legal win from the Trump campaign, Biden will be inaugurated on Jan. 20.
Perspectives
The main goal is keeping the GOP fired up
“The target is Republican voters, and the goal is to light a fire of rage that they hope will burn for as long as Joe Biden is president.” — Paul Waldman, Washington Post
Trump and the GOP are seeking to undermine the Biden presidency
“There will likely be millions of Trump supporters who will forever believe this election was stolen. ... Biden will take office on Jan. 20. But the attempts to treat his presidency as illegitimate have already begun.” — Richard L. Hasen, Slate
Republicans can’t afford to lose the backing of Trump’s base
“The far right is far too numerous to be expelled from the Republican Party, and tearing open an irreparable rift with their base would almost never be worth it. The party’s mainstream flank has been following a strategy of quiet indulgence for decades.” — Jonathan Chait, New York
Trump’s ego won’t allow him to accept defeat
“Trump clearly does not have a legal strategy that will win him the election. The only point of him contesting the election is that his ego is too fragile to allow him to simply admit he lost.” — Philip Klein, Washington Examiner
The GOP needs Trump’s supporters to win the Georgia Senate runoffs
“There are two reasons why most Senate Republicans refuse to acknowledge Joe Biden as president-elect: Georgia and Georgia. Simply put, the party needs President Donald Trump’s help to clinch two runoff elections in Georgia on Jan. 5 that will determine the fate of the Senate GOP’s majority.” — Burgess Everett, Politico
Trump is setting the stage to run for president again in 2024
“The president and his closest allies have already begun to prepare the justification for why he ‘has’ to run again in 2024. The argument is two-fold: 1) The election is being taken from him and 2) Only Trump among prominent elected Republicans is willing to stand up and fight this tremendous injustice.” — Chris Cillizza, CNN
Refusing to accept defeat allows Trump to maintain power over his base
“For Trump ... the goal may not be to win the election so much as to cast a pall of uncertainty over the results, thereby encouraging the perception, however unfounded, that he is the victim of fraud and remains the rightful leader of his fervent base.” — Alana Abramson, Time
The fraud claims are mostly a fundraising gambit
“Normally, a losing candidate’s supporters emerge from an election despondent and highly unlikely to immediately dip back into their bank accounts for another political contribution. But dubious claims from the president and his team that they were cheated out of a victory have — Trump and his supporters hope — provided an opportunity for another financial gush before the 2020 election cycle concludes.” — Lachlan Markay, Daily Beast
Casting doubt on the results creates room for the GOP to challenge future elections
“The real goal of this flurry of lawsuits seems to be to undermine people’s faith in the integrity of the election process.” — Joshua A. Douglas, Philadelphia Inquirer
Trump has the right to exhaust every legal option, even if they’re long shots
“There’s no law or constitutional provision that requires magnanimity in the chief executive. Trump and his administration are allowed to object and deflect. If Trump never conceded, never eased the transition of power, never attended his successor’s inauguration, never said President-Elect Joe Biden was legitimately elected, he would still be within his rights.” — Chris Stirewalt, Fox News
Trump is making a sincere attempt to steal the election
“Joe Biden has won the presidency. But the current president of the United States, Donald Trump, is attempting a coup in plain sight.” — Ezra Klein, Vox
You have been watching too much Sean Hannity
Karl Rove is a true conservative American. The lame duck President is not!
To win, Mr. Trump must prove systemic fraud, with illegal votes in the tens of thousands. There is no evidence of that so far. Unless some emerges quickly, the president’s chances in court will decline precipitously when states start certifying results, as Georgia will on Nov. 20, followed by Pennsylvania and Michigan on Nov. 23, Arizona on Nov. 30, and Wisconsin and Nevada on Dec. 1. By seating one candidate’s electors, these certifications will raise the legal bar to overturn state results and make it even more difficult for Mr. Trump to prevail before the Electoral College meets Dec. 14.
TV networks showed jubilant crowds in major cities celebrating Mr. Biden’s victory; they didn’t show the nearly equal number of people who mourned Mr. Trump’s defeat. U.S. politics remains polarized and venomous. Closing out this election will be a hard but necessary step toward restoring some unity and political equilibrium. Once his days in court are over, the president should do his part to unite the country by leading a peaceful transition and letting grievances go.
In order to get millions of fake absentee ballots, requested and mailed to the state election facilities, there is no way to conceal it from the a authorizes.
And that in the future require identification must be like requesting a credit card.
Scott, seriously the election is over and on January 20th Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th President
You should not be making people doubt our peaceful transfer of power. It is THE foundation of the republic.
One last thing.
You are correct about election security in the future.
It would reduce the uncertainty we have now.
"But if vice President Harris is the deciding vote, we may make epic changes in American history." Roger
Put some meat on this Barr bone.
What "epic changes"?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/william-barr-election-memo/2020/11/13/6ed06d20-25e4-11eb-a688-5298ad5d580a_story.html
Sixteen assistant U.S. attorneys specially assigned to monitor malfeasance in the 2020 election urged Attorney General William P. Barr on Friday to rescind his recent memorandum allowing investigators to publicly pursue allegations of “vote tabulation irregularities” in certain cases before results are certified, saying they had not seen evidence of any substantial anomalies.
In a letter — an image of which was shown to The Washington Post — the assistant U.S. attorneys told Barr that the release of his Monday memorandum — which changed long-standing Justice Department policy on the steps prosecutors can take before the results of an election are certified — “thrusts career prosecutors into partisan politics.”
The signers wrote that in the places where they served as district election officers, taking in reports of possible election-related crimes, there was no evidence of the kind of fraud that Barr’s memo had highlighted. Barr’s memo authorized prosecutors “to pursue substantial allegations of voting and vote tabulation irregularities prior to the certification of elections in your jurisdictions in certain cases,” particularly where the outcome of an election could be affected.
Scott the President lost the election. The election was the most secure ever.
I see Roger can't put meat on the bone on yet another topic he brought here.
16 Federal prosecutors assigned to monitor election malfeasance tell Barr they see no evidence of substantial irregularities.
This was the worst Friday the 13th in history for a lame duck President. Barr must be concerned about the fact that on January 20th of 2021 12:00 PM he will not longer the Attorney General of the United States. The 16 federal prosecutors could investigate him.
On January 20th in 2021 the Reality Show Presidency is going to be fired.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Abandon the ship USS Trump
Law firms that have represented President Trump and his campaign are now distancing themselves from a quixotic effort by Mr. Trump and his allies to overturn the results of the election won by President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.
Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, the law firm leading the Trump campaign’s efforts to challenge the presidential election results in Pennsylvania, abruptly withdrew from a federal lawsuit that it had filed on behalf of the campaign. That followed a similar move by an Arizona law firm that was representing the Republican Party as it challenged that state’s results.
And on Friday, a top lawyer at Jones Day, which has represented Mr. Trump’s campaigns for more than four years, told colleagues during a video conference call that Jones Day would not get involved in additional litigation in this election.
The moves by the law firms are the latest blows to Mr. Trump’s efforts to use a barrage of litigation to challenge the integrity of the election results. Some lawyers at Porter Wright and Jones Day had become increasingly vocal about their concerns that the work their firms were doing was helping to legitimize the president’s arguments. One Porter Wright lawyer resigned in protest over the summer.
What a great day. Warm for this time of year.
This is an outstanding WIN for Conservatives.

Covid-19: Lockdowns Return and North Dakota Issues Mask Mandate as Records Fall

As coronavirus cases trend upward in 49 states, President Trump makes no mention of the surge at a Rose Garden event. New Mexico and Oregon announce lockdowns.
This briefing has ended. Follow our latest coverage of the coronavirus pandemic.
Here’s what you need to know:
Hard-hit North Dakota reverses course and announces restrictions, as more U.S. records fall.
Trump, without acknowledging the rapid surge, projects rosy view on vaccines.
Several states add restrictions across the country, including lockdowns in New Mexico and Oregon.
N.Y.C.’s mayor warns that public schools could close as early as Monday if positivity rate hits 3 percent.
At least 30 Secret Service officers test positive for the virus as others are asked to isolate.
Fauci weighs in on celebrating Thanksgiving as the virus rages through the United States.
These are the restrictions and mask mandates for all 50 states.
Russian and North Korean operatives are trying to hack coronavirus research firms, Microsoft said.

Biden won California by 5 million votes.
He won the election by 5 million votes total !!!!!!!! Including the 551 k biden votes from kansas!!!!!!
In a reversal, Gov. Doug Burgum of North Dakota, which has critically understaffed hospitals and the highest rates of new cases and deaths per person in the nation, announced several measures late Friday, including a mask mandate, a limit on indoor dining of 50 percent capacity or 150 people and a suspension of high school winter sports and extracurricular activities until Dec. 14.
In the spring, North Dakota was one of a handful of states that never entered a lockdown. More recently, Mr. Burgum had for weeks resisted any new orders, emphasizing personal responsibility instead of requirements such as a mask mandate.
But North Dakota’s situation has rapidly deteriorated: over the past week, it has averaged of 1,334 cases per day, an increase of 54 percent from the average two weeks earlier, and deaths are climbing fast. Hospitals are so overwhelmed that on Monday, Mr. Burgum angered the state nurses’ union by announcing that medical workers who test positive could stay on the job to treat Covid-19 patients as long as the workers show no symptoms.
Writing in The Washington Post last week, Renae Moch, the public health director for Bismarck and Burleigh County, N.D., warned: “I can only hope our approach to this disease improves quickly — before our winter of hurt arrives and too many more North Dakotans pay the ultimate price.”

The White House website for Christmas Tours notes "2020 marks the final holiday season for the Trump White House" as President Trump refuses to publicly concede presidential race to Joe Biden.
In an October statement, the first lady said the quote was taken "out of context" and dismissed Wolkoff's book as "idle gossip trying to distort my character."
The Ruling
False.
The quote stating that this year is the "final holiday season" for the Trump White House was incorrectly attributed to Melania Trump and the White House. The website that mentioned this sentence was an unofficial site providing information on White House tours and is in no way affiliated with the White House or Melania Trump.

So as for Georgia, I think Loeffler has the easier runoff vs Warnock. She has Collins 20% block of votes to tap into against a candidate with some real flaws to explain.
Purdue vs ossoff is tougher, although it wouldn't take much for the recount to nudge Purdue over the 50% threshold.
And they're raising a ton of money. They'll be damned if they're gonna let dems steal these two elections.
The major reason why the Republicans performance didn't go down to the state government level.
The White evangelicals’ overperformance also shows, unfortunately, why the racist appeal Trump made in this campaign was effective. White evangelicals were fired up like no other group by Trump’s encouragement of white supremacy.
People like kputz
Loeffler the rich bitch in skinny jeans has about as much in common with a Georgian as you do!!!!!!! BWAAAAAAAA!!!!Warnock is pastor of MLK's former church and has a presence of a very calm, common man doing good for all!!!!!! Warnock is a formable opponent and will carry the same areas biden did plus!!!!!! Especially without trump on the ticket keep the farmers at home!!!!! Sonny Purdue another trump slurper who make some very interesting trades just before the pandemic hit and ran on the premise he DID NOTHING WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! Sad how poorly he did in the only debate and ran away and hid from Ossoff from the second....Yep....he really looked like a loser to me!!!!! I am sure the mouth of the south will support both because he don't care!!!!
If the Democrats can motivate the voters who gave Georgia to President elect Joe Biden, to vote in the same numbers, the Democrats will make Moscow Mitch the minority leader.
Stacey Abrams will get them out in record numbers!

Coronavirus Deaths Are Climbing Once Again
Deaths are far below the rate of the spring, when as many as 2,200 people were dying every day, but experts warn they are rising fast.
By the time Doug Raysby’s wife was allowed to enter his hospital room, it was too late to be sure whether he even knew she was there. After a feverish fight with the coronavirus, he lay unconscious on the bed. His wife cried through an N95 mask, while a computer tablet flashed a video stream of his children saying goodbye.

Put some meat on this Bare Bone.
What "epic changes"?
Newsweek.
Up to 23,000 teenagers in Georgia who were too young to participate in the general election will turn 18 by the time the Senate runoff races take place on January 5, according to the youth nonprofit group, The Civics Center.
That many new voters could help determine the outcome of the two U.S. senate seats that are up for grabs, a race that will ultimately decide whether or not the Senate is controlled by Republicans or Democrats.
The cutoff date for new voters to register is Dec. 7, and under federal law, all 17-year-olds with a birthday before Jan. 5 are eligible to sign up.
“With a record turnout by young people in the general election, now is the time for all high school seniors and recent graduates to register to vote if they will be 18 by the runoff election on January 5, 2021,” the nonprofit wrote on its website.
Newsweek reached out to the The Civics Center for additional comment.
Young voters in Georgia have already played an extraordinary role in shaping the outcome of the 2020 election.
According to the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement at Tufts University, 20 percent of Georgia’s votes were contributed from voters aged 18-29, compared to the national average of just 17 percent. That makes Georgia the best-performing youth voter state in the country.
That same study showed the youth vote in Georgia swaying more heavily Democratic, with 57 percent of young voters supporting Biden, as opposed to just 39 percent voting for president Donald Trump.
The boost in youth voters could attributed in large part to the efforts of Stacey Abrams, a Democrat and former gubernatorial candidate in Georgia who helped register 800,000 new voters across the state, including a number of youth and minority voters.
The January 5 runoff will see Democratic challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock attempt to gain Senate seats currently occupied by Republicans David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. If both of the Democratic candidates win, the Senate will be flipped from the current Republican-held majority into Democratic control.
I will contribute
I hope that this doesn't get violent.
Nov 13 (Reuters) - Far-right groups and other backers of U.S. President Donald Trump plan to rally in Washington on Saturday in a public show of support for his unsubstantiated claim of widespread voting fraud in the Nov. 3 election.
Republican Trump has refused to accept that he lost the election to Democrat Joe Biden, now president-elect, adding to tensions. Trump's supporters, including Republican lawmakers, have amplified his claims that the election was stolen from him.
The protests in the nation's capital will bring together far-right personalities, including conspiracy theorist and Infowars broadcaster Alex Jones and self-described "American Nationalist" Nicholas Fuentes. The Oath Keepers militia and the far-right Proud Boys have also said their members are attending. Some left-wing groups are planning counterdemonstrations.
In addition to the Washington event, pro-Trump protests and counterprotests are planned in other major cities around the country.
"Heartwarming to see all of the tremendous support out there, especially the organic Rallies that are springing up all over the Country, including a big one on Saturday in D.C. I may even try to stop by and say hello," Trump wrote on Twitter on Friday.
Law enforcement had warned of potential violence around the election, including from extremist groups, which so far has not come to pass. Experts on extremist groups said that the Washington demonstrations had the potential to become violent if protesters clashed with counterprotesters.
Christopher Rodriguez, Washington's Homeland Security and Emergency Management director, said his agency was tracking about a dozen groups each made up of "about a dozen" people who had indicated they would attend on Saturday.
"I don't want anyone to think we are talking about large numbers of folks," he said at a news conference on Thursday.
Rodriguez stressed that those attending the rallies would not be allowed to carry weapons. "Violence will not be tolerated," he said.
The Trump supporters are expected to congregate near Freedom Plaza, just east of the White House. They have given their rallies different names, including the Million MAGA March, the March for Trump and Stop the Steal DC. MAGA is an acronym for Trump campaign slogan Make America Great Again.
There have been pro-Trump protests around the country since Biden was projected the winner on Nov. 7, but they have been small and unfolded with few incidents.
Enrique Tarrio, the Florida-based leader of the Proud Boys, said he expects roughly 250 members to attend the rally. He said he did not expect violence at the event and said the Proud Boys would adhere to local gun laws in the District of Columbia.
Stewart Rhodes, the head of the anti-government and pro-Trump Oath Keepers, said in a statement his group will be "assisting" with security for the rallies.

Coronavirus Deaths Are Climbing Once Again
7:52 am
New York Times: “For weeks, as coronavirus cases spiked across the United States, deaths rose far more slowly, staying significantly lower than in the early, deadliest weeks of the nation’s outbreak in the spring. New treatments, many hoped, might slow a new wave of funerals.
“But now, signs are shifting: More than 1,000 Americans are dying of the coronavirus every day on average, a 50 percent increase in the last month. Iowa, Minnesota, New Mexico, Tennessee and Wisconsin have recorded more deaths over the last seven days than in any other week of the pandemic. Twice this past week, there have been more than 1,400 deaths reported in a single day.”

“President-elect Joe Biden has promised to take dramatic action to address the most pressing issues of American life. But the degree that Congress will be part of that effort is likely to depend on a small group of Republican senators and the improbable return of a bygone era of bipartisan cooperation,” the Washington Post reports.
“Yet if anyone can manage it, senators and operatives from both parties say, it’s Biden — who spent 36 years in the Senate and will enter the White House as the most accomplished legislator to hold the presidency since at least Lyndon B. Johnson.”

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs took his regular propagandistic praise of President Trump to an even higher level as he declared the projected win of President-elect Joe Biden an attempt to “take over the country and deny this president what is rightfully his, a second term,” the HuffPost reports.
Said Dobbs: “What I’d like to know is what in the hell is the Republican Party doing to defend and to, I mean, why not just say we’re not going to accept the results of this election? It’s outrageous.”

Democrats Work to Defy History in Georgia Runoffs
7:21 am
New York Times: “Georgia’s runoffs, the vestige of segregationist efforts to dilute Black voting power, will determine control of the Senate in races to be decided on Jan. 5. In the past, such contests have heavily favored Republicans because of a drop-off among Democratic voters, particularly African-Americans, after the general election.
“But those intimately involved in the two previous Senate showdowns say what happened before is not necessarily predictive of the future. Demographic and cultural change has led to rapid shifts in the state, and Democrats have made concerted efforts to energize and turn out their voters, work that paved the way for President-elect Joe Biden’s strong showing in the state.”
Giuliani Scared Off Trump’s Lawyers
7:17 am
“President Trump’s senior campaign aides were gathered in their headquarters Saturday morning when word emerged that Rudy Giuliani would be holding a news conference in the parking lot of a Philadelphia landscaping business. They knew that meant trouble,” Politico reports.
“Senior campaign aides scurried to urge organizers to kill the event, infamously staged at the wrong ‘Four Seasons’ — a landscaping business adjacent to an adult bookstore and a crematorium. But Giuliani plowed ahead anyway, delivering a conspiracy-filled rant that undercut the legal strategy the president’s advisers had meticulously mapped out in the run-up to the election.
“Campaign officials described the episode as disastrous, saying it scared off many of the lawyers they spent months recruiting, who now no longer wanted to be involved.”

John Kelly Says Trump Is Hurting National Security
7:07 am
President Trump’s delay in transitioning to President-elect Joe Biden “hurts out national security,” John Kelly, Trump’s former chief of staff, told Politico.
Said Kelly: “The president, with all due respect, does not have to concede. But it’s about the nation. It hurts our national security because for the people who should be getting up to speed, it’s not a process where you go from zero to 1,000 miles per hour.”
ONE LITTLE QUIBBLE. IN DOING THIS, THE PRESIDENT DESERVES NO DUE RESPECT.
So the issue is one entirely built on security of our elections (which should be no less secure than our credit card transactions). We would never let someone taking a credit card transaction to "cure" missing information. Why is it that we feel compelled to "cure" an American election ballot under similar circumstances?
precisely.
the current state of our electoral system has devolved to what the democrats have always wanted -
a system ripe for fraud.
the integrity of our system is completely shot. no sane person casts a ballot anymore expecting it to count. what was once a civic duty that required integrity and effort is now just a sham. a sham that the left benefits from when enough people say "fuck it, i'm done" and walk away.
the left knows no shame, no guilt, no honor and no integrity. they not only don't mind cheating to win, they revel in it.
i'm not sure exactly where this all leads, but i'm certain it's nowhere good. when fully half the electorate knows the game is rigged and they're getting fucked and fucked with glee by the other side, you no longer have a republic.
Mark Twain is reported to have said: “History Doesn't Repeat Itself, but It Often Rhymes.”
and just like the 1860's, democrats once again are willing to bring us to the brink of serious civil unrest to get what they want.
Good to see James spent read All's spam.
God Bless you two boys.
rat doesn't really believe this election was "stolen." that's just his obsequious, party-line bluff.

i'm absolutely convinced, pederast.
The major reason why the Republicans performance didn't go down to the state government level.
Republicans held every state assembly that they controlled and picked two extra ones in the process... during what was supposed to be a "blue wave" election.
We know there was not a blue wave, Ch. That is clear.
But do you say, as rat does, that this election is being stolen?
laughable.

Democratic republic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A democratic republic is a form of government operating on principles adopted from a republic and a democracy. Rather than being a cross between two entirely separate systems, democratic republics may function on principles shared by both republics and democracies.
Common definitions of the terms democracy and republic often feature overlapping concerns, suggesting that many democracies function as republics, and many republics operate on democratic principles, as shown by these definitions from the Oxford English Dictionary:
Republic: "A state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives..."
Democracy: "A system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives."
Eugene Volokh of the UCLA School of Law notes that the United States exemplifies the varied nature of a constitutional republic—a country where some decisions (often local) are made by direct democratic processes, while others (often federal) are made by democratically elected representatives. As with many large systems, US governance is incompletely described by any single term. It also employs the concept, for instance, of a constitutional democracy in which a court system is involved in matters of jurisprudence.
As with other democracies, not all persons in a democratic republic are necessarily citizens, and not all citizens are necessarily entitled to vote. Suffrage is commonly restricted by criteria such as voting age and sometimes by felony or imprisonment status.
History
In the US, the notion that a republic was a form of democracy was common from the time of its founding, and the concepts associated with representative democracy (and hence with a democratic republic) are suggested by John Adams (writing in 1784):
------
No determinations are carried, it is true, in a simple representative democracy, but by consent of the majority or their representatives.
------
Historically, some inconsistency around the term is frequent. China claims to be the oldest of Asia's democratic republics, though its recent history of democratic process is largely linked only to Taiwan.
Likewise, Africa's oldest democratic republic, Liberia (formed in 1822), has had its political stability rocked by periodic violence and coups.
Global use of the term
Many countries that use the term "democratic republic" in their official names (such as Algeria, Congo-Kinshasa, Ethiopia, North Korea, Laos, and Nepal are considered undemocratic "hybrid regimes" or "authoritarian regimes" by the Economist Intelligence Unit's Democracy Index and "not free" by the U.S.-based, U.S.-government-funded non-governmental organization Freedom House.
In addition, East Germany was also officially known as the German Democratic Republic, but, like the Somali Democratic Republic, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen, the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan and the People's Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, was controlled by a bureaucratic government espousing Marxism–Leninism.
Incidentally, the Democratic Republic of Madagascar and the Democratic Republic of the Sudan were non-Marxist socialist dictatorships that existed during the Cold War.
There are also countries which use the term "Democratic Republic" in the name and have a good track of general election and were rated "flawed democracy" or "full democracy" in the Democracy Index, such as the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and PrÃncipe and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
