Shortly after President Joe Biden was sworn into office Wednesday, Amazon congratulated him on his inauguration and offered their extensive resources to help the new administration in its vaccination effort.
"As you begin your work leading the country out of the COVID-19 crisis, Amazon stands ready to assist you in reaching your goal of vaccinating 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of your administration," Dave Clark, CEO of Amazon's worldwide consumer business, wrote in a letter to Biden Wednesday.
"We are prepared to leverage our operations, information technology and communications capabilities and expertise to assist your administration’s vaccination efforts," Clark continued. "Our scale allows us to make a meaningful impact immediately in the fight against Covid-19, and we stand ready to assist you in this effort."
It has actually been somewhat of a joke out there that if you taught Amazon delivery drivers to give the vaccine, that the entire country would have it by Saturday, or a couple days earlier if you have Amazon Prime. But having the ability to help people becoming vaccinated, but refusing until the right "President" was in office is not a joke.
I might offer that someone (Congress) needs to take a hard look at what the reasons were for Amazon stalling on their offer of helping? This is why liberals will never get the "unity" that they demand. They are mean spirited partisan people whose hatred of the bad orange man continues to cost this country in real terms. In this case, real lives were probably lost due to pure partisanship and hate.

The World Health Organization has now released guidance to laboratories around the world to reduce the cycle count in PCR tests to get a more accurate representation of COVID cases.
The current cycle was much too high and resulting in any particle being declared a positive case.
So everyone who died at the capital protest was a Trump supporter.
One was shot in cold blood by Capitol police.
3 died of medical conditions during the protest.
The officer who died was a big Trump supporter and nobody has been charged despite witnesses. There was disguised antifa egging people on and police standing down, I'd say odds are it was the result of antifa or a similar group. Trump supporters don't attack police unlike BLM who have killed many.

Nope...
In reality everyone has more vaccinations than they are able to actually medically distribute (or inoculate). In some cases, hospitals are actually throwing away unused vaccines because the manner in which some states are requiring they be prioritized means that the same people available are not always the same ones who are supposed to be in line. Damned if you could allow someone who happens to be available to "jump the line". Rather toss it in the trash.
Of course, that is NOT happening in states that are making their own rules, but rather happening in the States that are following the FEDERAL CDC guidelines for distribution.
The Amazon assistance may or may not even be helpful. But it does provide some sort of morale boost to people who are otherwise blaming the speed of distribution (when the bottleneck is really the actual inoculation portion of it).
But I would suspect that Amazon leadership is smart enough to understand that if this actually becomes a top down project, that we are likely fucked. I don't care how many trillions of dollars Congress wants to give Biden, it will still not change the simple fact that Federal control of this will only work to get in the way and cause problems.
