I wonder why this wasn't a campaign ad? |
The reality is that Dementia Joe is figuring out that Trump wasn't botching anything and that there wasn't going to be any remarkable change when "better leadership" took hold. As most any competent doctor will tell you, a coronavirus will simply take off over the winter months (cold and flu season) and there isn't going to be much you can do about it.
I would offer that a mask mandate in Federal buildings will help by somewhere near rounded off at approximately 0.00%. So far Slow Joe has not offered much else. In other words, there isn't any executive order, policy change, law, or anything for a new President to do that is going to drastically change the laws of medical physics.
But he has offered to increase the amount of vaccinations by a grand whopping total of 6 percent over the next 100 days. Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is the real silver bullet in all of this!

Because he had to get into office and get beyond all the Trumpian misinformation to see what a huge mess Trump has left behind before he could see clearly that "things will get worse before they get better" and that we still have a difficult way to go along the trajectory we inherited from Trump.
February, really Nancy .
Day 1, re, 2,,,3,,, nope , Day 33.
Then it will be far short , at only $1,400, not the Promised $2,000 that Roger and James said he would deliver.
Trump $1,800
Biden $0.00
Treason!@!
Former President Donald Trump’s campaign paid more than $2.7 million over two years to individuals and firms that organized the Jan. 6 rally that led to rioters storming the U.S. Capitol, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
The payments, which span Trump’s re-election campaign, show an ongoing financial relationship between the rally’s organizers and Trump’s political operation. They were all made through Nov. 23, the most recent date covered by Federal Election Commission filings, which is before the rally was publicly announced.
He knew it was going to happen, before they invaded the Capitol building, with firearms.

I guess slow Joe is not going to stop the virus after all?

Which really means 150,000 total jobs killed.
Is it time to say we told ya so.
I think Biden has already accumulated so many lies the Washington Post "fact checkers" are just giving up.
Sorry Reverend...
Slow Joe is the President. The buck stops with him.
He lied (and everyone on the right knew it) about the virus and you fell for it... hook, line, and sinker!
4374 deaths a day so far during the Biden reign!
Now he is offering a 6% increase in vaccinations over the next 100 days? 6% huh? Bet that would have been another great campaign ad?
š¤”Because he had to get into office š¤£

Omg, the rapid excuses for every Biden misstep, mistake and fuck up, blame Trump.
Before the Election Joe had ALL the Answers.
Now , he has none of them.
Joe Biden:
The trajectory of the virus will not change under my leadership. Thousands will die daily for the next few months.
But I will increase the amount of vaccinations by 6 percent over the next 100 days! So C'mon man!
I accept Slow Joe is The President of the United States.
Something the Three Socialist Stooges of CHT never admitted with Trump.
To be fair...
Biden never had any answers. He remained hidden in his basement and never took any questions from anyone. How could he provide answers when he was asked no questions?
The campaign ads... were all just lies from his "handlers" who made people like Roger, Reverend, and Bwaaa believe he could change things.
But apparently he has to admit that Trump did everything he could have and that there was nothing else and there is nothing else that can be done....
except spend more money!
Canada is upset with Biden.
The cancellation of Keystone XL Pipeline may trigger a trade war.
I agree Scott.
What did Biden lie about--about the virus?
The one who lied about the virus, repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly, was Trump.
Oh, Biden is not saying nothing can be done. He's only saying that the trajectory etched in by Trump won't be easy to reverse. That, and the fact that the weather and the new strain of the virus here as in Europe, makes recovery more difficult.
Oh, and who left air routes into the U.S. open even after the new strain appeared? Trump.
(Several European countries permitted no flights in from the U. K.)

McConnell Privately Says He Wants Trump Gone.
“As the House prepares to send articles of impeachment to the Senate on Monday, CNN has learned that dozens of influential Republicans around Washington — including former top Trump administration officials — have been quietly lobbying GOP members of Congress to impeach and convict Donald Trump. The effort is not coordinated but reflects a wider battle inside the GOP between those loyal to Trump and those who want to sever ties and ensure he can never run for President again.”

Former top administration officials lobby to convict Trump
Washington (CNN)As the House prepares to send articles of impeachment to the Senate on Monday, CNN has learned that dozens of influential Republicans around Washington -- including former top Trump administration officials -- have been quietly lobbying GOP members of Congress to impeach and convict Donald Trump. The effort is not coordinated but reflects a wider battle inside the GOP between those loyal to Trump and those who want to sever ties and ensure he can never run for President again.
The lobbying started in the House after the January 6 attack on the Capitol and in the days leading up to impeachment. But it's now more focused on Sen. Mitch McConnell, the powerful minority leader who has signaled he may support convicting Trump.
"Mitch said to me he wants Trump gone," one Republican member of Congress told CNN. "It is in his political interest to have him gone. It is in the GOP interest to have him gone. The question is, do we get there?"
McConnell had proposed delaying the trial until February, but with the articles coming to the Senate on Monday, the process will likely be set in motion sooner. It would take 17 Republicans to join all 50 Democrats in order to convict. While the bar is high, some GOP sources think there is more of an appetite to punish the former President than is publicly apparent.
"There were 10 House Republicans who voted for impeachment. There were probably over 150 who supported it," said Charlie Dent, a former Republican congressman and CNN contributor.
The ongoing Republican whisper campaign, according to more than a dozen sources who spoke to CNN, is based on a shared belief that a successful conviction is critical for the future of the Republican party. Multiple sources describe this moment as a reckoning for the party. DAMN RIGHT!
"Trump created a cult of personality that is hard to dismantle," said a former senior Republican official. "Conviction could do that."
The lobbying effort has included
behind-the-scenes pressure by Republican donors,
calls from former top Trump White House officials,
and a set of talking points circulating among Republicans arguing for Trump's impeachment.
The 9-point memo charges that "it is difficult to find a more anti-conservative outburst by a U.S. president than Donald Trump the last two months."
Other points include that Trump "urged supporters from across the nation to come to Washington, DC, to disrupt" Congress on January 6 and egged on the crowd, which was "widely understood to include people who were planning to fight physically, and who were prepared to die in response to his false claims of a 'stolen election.''
.
The memo goes on to point out Trump "tweeted and made other statements against the Vice President as the Secret Service was being forced to rush Mike Pence out of the Senate chamber and into a protective bunker." It's unclear how widely disseminated the memo is among Republicans in Washington.
'A fight for the party'
McConnell is also facing pressure from a faction of Senate Republicans to stick with Trump, with some telling CNN that support for conviction could threaten McConnell's leadership.
"No, no, no," Sen. Ron Johnson, a Wisconsin Republican and Trump ally, told CNN when asked if he could support McConnell if he voted to convict Trump, calling such a vote a "dangerous precedent" and adding: "I don't even think we should be having a trial."
"If you're wanting to erase Donald Trump from the party, you're going to get erased," Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said on Fox News Wednesday. "This idea of moving forward without Donald Trump in the Republican Party is a disaster for the Republican Party."
THE REAL DISASTER WOULD BE TO TRY TO MOVE FORWARD WITH HIM.
There have also been public appeals for Republican lawmakers to take action against Trump. Former White House chief of staff John Kelly told CNN if it was up to him, he would vote to remove Trump.
Former Attorney General Bill Barr accused the President of "orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress" and went on to call his conduct a "betrayal of his office."
Among some former Trump administration officials, the President's actions around the January 6 riot aroused feelings of disgust.
"I almost threw up when I saw the President tweeting against Mike Pence," said one former senior Trump official.
In addition, more than 30 former Republican members of Congress signed a letter urging House members to vote to impeach. At the same time, current and former Senate aides are encouraging their bosses to seriously consider voting to convict.
And in the days after January 6, a handful of House staffers whose bosses supported Trump resigned, including a senior GOP staffer on the House Armed Services Committee and aides to Reps. Lauren Boebert and Jim Jordan.
"A lot of people view this as a fight for the party," said one former Republican Hill aide.
Others are hoping more Senate Republicans will step up.
"In the Senate, there is more institutional respect and understanding of the long-term consequences," said former Trump administration appointee Gabriel Noronha. "There is also real resentment of Trump and the damage he has done, and awareness of what this means in the next four to eight years."
Noronha recently made news when he was fired by the White House for a tweet condemning Trump's actions on January 6.
Signals from McConnell
The consensus among the Republicans who spoke to CNN is that McConnell's decision on conviction will sway others. On Tuesday, in his most forceful comments yet, McConnell tied Trump's actions to the attack itself during a speech on the Senate floor.
"The mob was fed lies," McConnell said. "They were provoked by the President and other powerful people. And they tried to use fear and violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government which they did not like. But we pressed on."
Since he is known as restrained and deliberate, McConnell's words gave hope to Republicans who would like the party to split from Trump.
"I hope Mitch's institutional reverence for the Senate will overcome his natural political caution and will lead him to the conclusion that Trump is in the way of the party's future," said the former senior GOP official. AND HOW!
The legal arguments
Other Republican senators who have said they will vote to acquit cite a Jan. 12 op-ed in The Washington Post by former federal judge and conservative legal luminary J. Michael Luttig. Luttig writes an impeachment trial after Trump left office would be unconstitutional.
"I think a lot of people would like a reason not to convict," said a former Republican Senate staffer.
But other Republican legal experts are pushing back with GOP senators.
"It feels like the weight of the energy in Washington with legal conservatives is pretty strongly in favor of impeachment," said Gregg Nunziata, a former counsel to the Senate Republican conference who has reached out to senators himself.
However the fear of reprisal from Trump's allies in the media -- Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham have already criticized McConnell's condemnation of Trump -- and Trump's base may prevail.
The former senior Republican official who would like to see Trump convicted characterized it as an internal war within the party and expressed pessimism that enough senators would rise to the occasion.
"I have learned through sad experience that no one has lost money betting on the seemingly bottomless capacity of congressional R's for self-abasement and cowardice," said the former official.
BE MY GUEST!
GO AHEAD AND FAIL TO CONVICT AND GO DOWN IN FLAMES, GOP!
By the way, someone should clue in Scott that Goddard is not saying Trump will or should be impeached: He's saying that there are significant Republicans who are saying that, and others who are opposed.
McConnell apparently wants it to happen, because as despicable and unprincipled a cheater as he is, he at least has some political sense, and knows that much more of self-centered Donald will drag the GOP into further disasters.
(Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.)

There is infighting going on in the highest ranks of the GOP. Some are calling for McConnell to stop encouraging a break with Trump and step down as minority leader because if he does not, the GOP is doomed.
Others are encouraging him to continue to tell Senators to vote their conscience even if that leads them to vote for conviction because if that doesn't happen, the GOP is doomed.
During the last two days of the ex President administration, 4,100 died.
4,100 per day.
His strategy was to let Trump defeat himself.
He won by a record majority vote.
You know that I'm correct about it. But you are unable to admit mistakes.
As I kept saying, Trump was his own worst enemy.
But he thought the fact that he could draw large crowds of shouting fanatics mean that he could not be defeated. No way, Hosea!
He got his ears pinned back by the actual vote.
Huge numbers of Americans voted AGAINST TRUMP for the simple reason that THAT MAN SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO BECOME PRESIDENT AND MUST NEVER BE PRESIDENT AGAIN/
And that's why he now he needs to be convicted -- for the same reason. Mitch is right. Both he and his wife are disgusted with Trump, especially over what he incited at the Capitol.

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department’s top leaders listened in stunned silence this month: One of their peers, they were told, had devised a plan with President Donald J. Trump to oust Jeffrey A. Rosen as acting attorney general and wield the department’s power to force Georgia state lawmakers to overturn its presidential election results.
The unassuming lawyer who worked on the plan, Jeffrey Clark, had been devising ways to cast doubt on the election results and to bolster Mr. Trump’s continuing legal battles and the pressure on Georgia politicians. Because Mr. Rosen had refused the president’s entreaties to carry out those plans, Mr. Trump was about to decide whether to fire Mr. Rosen and replace him with Mr. Clark.
The department officials, convened on a conference call, then asked each other: What will you do if Mr. Rosen is dismissed?
The answer was unanimous. They would resign.
I have been watching the news on this.
Two former federal prosecutors said that he has committed vote fraud, at the federal and Georgia laws.
Since he is no longer the President, he can be prosecuted by the Justice Department the Georgia justice department.
How the U.S. Could Double Vaccination Pace With Existing Supply.

President Biden’s promise to administer 100 million vaccines by his 100th day in office is no longer a lofty goal; it is attainable at the current pace at which shots are going into arms. In fact, some experts have suggested that the president’s ambition is far too modest.
Federal data shows that the United States is already administering about one million doses a day, and even doubling that rate would not cause the country to fall short of distribution capacity or supply.

Some experts have suggested that Mr. Biden increase his goal to match the supply promised by manufacturers. Pfizer and Moderna have pledged to deliver a combined 200 million doses by the end of March, with an additional 200 million doses to be delivered by the end of July.
Under those circumstances, it is feasible that up to two million doses could be given per day, and Mr. Biden’s goal of 100 million shots could be reached by early March.

The Congress has the authority to spend government funding, not the President.
They are allowed to remove their masks when they speak.
The ex President administration hampered the FBI from investigating domestic terrorism.
FBI officials have said for years that they have felt hamstrung in their approach to domestic extremists, because the government has been loath to use the surveillance tools it deploys against al Qaeda or ISIS adherents to Americans who hold radical political beliefs that may lead some of them to violence.
Three of the people leading the effort, Psaki said, are Claire Linkens, the NSC’s senior director for counterterrorism; Joshua Geltzer, a former NSC official and counterterrorism expert who has been named special assistant to the president and special adviser to the homeland security adviser on countering domestic violent extremism; and Russ Travers, the former head of the National Counterterrorism Center and a veteran intelligence official who was forced out of his job by the Trump administration.
Domestic terrorism is a far greater danger than Islamic terrorism. With the exception of the 9/11 attacks, since the Oklahoma City bombing, every terrorist attacks have come from domestic right wing terrorists.

Dems are making a mistake choosing to obsess over Trump some more instead of implementing their agenda. Leave it to them to hold an impeachment trial to forcibly remove someone from office who is already gone.
And Trump won't run again regardless. He's already been there done that. More likely he'll want to be some sort of King maker. Maybe start Trump TV is something.
And if were now impeaching ex presidents, how long before a gop house majority does it to Obama for bengazi? Or maybe impeach Lincoln for civil war deaths. Or Washington for owning slaves. This is a bad and very unnecessary slippery slope.
President Biden’s opening approval rating isn’t much to cheer about, coming in below that of his two predecessors.
In Rasmussen Reports’ first Presidential Daily Tracking Poll of likely voters, the new Democratic president starts at 48% approving and 45% disapproving.
Notably, he is underwater with women (46% approve, 48% disapprove) and whites (43% approve, 51% disapprove).
Rasmussen’s daily survey number is an average of the last three days.
By comparison, Biden’s approval is ho-hum compared to former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama, said the polling data.
Trump opened with a 56% approval rating. Just 44% disapproved. It was one of his highest ratings of his four years.
Obama started at 67% approval, 32% disapprove, which is also one of his highest ratings.

Trump Had Plan to Install New Attorney General
11:12 pm
“Then-President Donald Trump in early January entertained a plan to replace the acting attorney general with a different Justice Department lawyer who was more amenable to pursuing his unfounded claims of voter fraud, nearly touching off a crisis at the country’s premier federal law enforcement institution,” the Washington Post reports.
“The plan — if enacted — would have pushed out Jeffrey Rosen as the acting attorney general and installed in his place Jeffrey Clark, whom Trump had appointed to lead the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and who later would come to lead the Civil Division. Clark, then, could have taken steps to wield the Justice Department’s power to help keep Trump in office. But the president was ultimately dissuaded from moving forward after a high-stakes meeting with those involved.”

I was on Morning Joe today, and I mentioned a point also made in this morning’s column — that Joe Biden’s decency-and-honesty shtick is baloney.
“How could you say that?” demand the critics. I’m pleased you asked . . .
Of all of Biden’s dishonesty — the plagiarism and other intellectual dishonesty, the invented biographical episodes, etc. — the one that sticks out the most to me is his lying, repeatedly, about the death of his first wife and child, falsely claiming that they had been killed by a drunk driver. In reality, the driver of the other car was neither drunk nor even at fault — police reports suggest that Mrs. Biden accidentally swerved into the lane of oncoming traffic. A horrible story — but not the story Joe Biden told for years.
Mentally normal people do not do things like that. Honest people certainly do not do things like that.
Imagine the cynicism and soul-deadness it takes to consider the death of your wife and child and then say to yourself, “How could this situation be improved for political purposes?”
So, spare me the talk of Joe Biden’s abiding “decency.”

Did Joe Biden Lie About a Drunken Driver’s Killing His Wife?

About this rating
What's True
Biden has at least twice publicly stated or suggested that the driver of the truck that struck his wife's vehicle, killing her and the couple's daughter, had been drinking, even though the driver was not charged with drunken driving (or any other infraction suggesting fault on his part).
What's False
No definitive evidence exists to prove or rule out whether the other driver had been drinking, and belief that drinking had contributed to the crash was reportedly prevalent among the local community and not something Biden simply made up on his own.
Origin
The seminal moment in the career of Joe Biden occurred in November 1972 when, as a 29-year-old lawyer whose only previous political experience was as a member of the New Castle County Council in Delaware, he pulled off an astounding upset victory over a Republican incumbent and won election to the U.S. Senate by a mere 3,162 votes.
Six weeks later, however, before he had assumed office, Biden’s life took the most tragic of turns when his wife Neilia and their 1-year-old daughter, Naomi, were killed in an automobile accident. For the ensuing 36 years of his Senate career, Biden famously commuted via Amtrak to Washington, D.C., from the family home in Wilmington, Delaware, daily in order to be home for his sons Beau and Hunter, who had been severely injured but survived the crash that killed their mother and sister.
As in any such tragedy, one of the paramount questions is: what caused the fatal accident? Neilia Biden’s station wagon was broadsided by a tractor-trailer truck at an intersection, but who — or what — was the underlying cause of the accident?
Social media posts circulated during Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential run declared that Biden had misrepresented the accident as being the fault of a drunken driver, and even that Biden had deliberately lied about it:
It is true that at least twice, Biden has publicly stated or alleged that the driver tractor-trailer who hit his wife’s station wagon had been drinking. During a speech he gave at the University of Delaware a week after the 9/11 terror attacks, for example, Biden said:
"To the loved ones of the victims, there is nothing really we can say to erase this tragedy. And, those of you who think it’s presumptuous of me to say that … in a different circumstance, I got one of those phone calls … I got a phone call saying, “Your wife’s dead; your daughter’s dead.” And I’ve only said that three times in public before. But, I say it here because it’s so important for you to understand. I got one of those phone calls. It was an errant driver who stopped to drink instead of drive and hit a tractor-trailer, hit my children and my wife and killed them."
And in December 2007, while stumping for the Democratic presidential nomination in Iowa City, Biden said the following while answering a voter’s question about negative campaigning:
“Let me tell you a little story,” Mr. Biden told the crowd at the University of Iowa. “I got elected when I was 29, and I got elected November the 7th. And on Dec. 18 of that year, my wife and three kids were Christmas shopping for a Christmas tree. A tractor-trailer, a guy who allegedly — and I never pursued it — drank his lunch instead of eating his lunch, broadsided my family and killed my wife instantly, and killed my daughter instantly, and hospitalized my two sons, with what were thought to be at the time permanent, fundamental injuries.”
The accident took place at the intersection of Limestone and Valley Road in Hockessin, Delaware. At the time, it was a remote, rural section of New Castle County, described as follows by a probationary volunteer fireman who responded to the scene and attended the driver of the tractor-trailer:
"Limestone Road was a popular trucker shortcut in the Piedmont foothills leading from Delaware into Pennsylvania. The intersection with Valley Road was extremely dangerous, located at the bottom of two steep hills. Truckers traveling in either direction used the momentum coming down one hill, in order to climb the other. The speed limit on Limestone Road, at the intersection, was 35mph and huge REDUCE SPEED signs were posted a half-mile in both directions. Whether Curtis Dunn was speeding is unknown, but he had applied his brakes, which was apparent from twin 150 ft. skid marks."
But as Politico noted in a 2009 profile of Biden, the other driver was not charged with drunken driving, or anything else that would indicate fault on his part. Based on evidence and witness accounts, it appeared that Neilia Biden had pulled into the truck driver’s right of way at an intersection with a two-way stop, and the tractor-trailer driver was unable to stop in time to avoid striking her vehicle:
The driver of the truck, Curtis C. Dunn of Pennsylvania, was not charged with drunk driving. He wasn’t charged with anything. The accident was an accident, and though the police file no longer exists, coverage in the newspapers at the time made it clear that fault was not in question. For whatever reason, Neilia Biden, who was holding the baby, ended up in the right of way of Dunn’s truck coming down a long hill.
“She had a stop sign. The truck driver did not,” Jerome Herlihy told me. He’s a retired judge who then was a deputy attorney general and once was a neighbor to Biden and remains friendly. A pal of Biden at the time asked Herlihy “to go out to the state police troop where the driver of the other vehicle was to make sure everything was going all right,” and so he did. “In the end,” Herlihy said, “I concurred in their decision that there was no fault on his part.”
Does this mean Biden was untruthful — even lying, perhaps — when he implied that Dunn had been drinking? According to Lou Angeli, the fireman referenced above who treated Dunn at the scene, observed, no evidence definitively establishes or disproves that point:
"In regards to intoxication, there was no way to determine if Mr. Dunn had been drinking, since neither of the police officers had breathalyzers aboard their cruisers. His injuries were such that his demeanor was similar to that of someone in a stupor, but those of you who serve in emergency medicine know that such behavior is often presented by victims who are in shock, or perhaps even diabetic.
I’ve learned that all of the records pertaining to this accident are lost. It doesn’t surprise me. Back then our ambulance incident report was filled out on a 5×7 card and filed away in a box. Once a month the information was transferred to a master list, which was later placed in storage.
If Mr. Dunn was intoxicated, there was no way to determine that at the hospital either, since alcohol blood tests were not mandatory in 1972. The hospital records are missing, as well as the police reports."
bAngeli asserted that this alleged aspect of the accident wasn’t a “lie” Biden simply made up out of whole cloth, and that right or wrong, rumor and belief that drinking had contributed to the crash was prevalent among the local community:
To be honest, those of us in fire-rescue here in Delaware assumed that Mr. Dunn had been drinking, based on comments made by police officers at the scene. And in the Delaware fire service, rumors travel from station to station like wildfire.
Until he remarried in 1977, whenever Joe Biden attended a public safety event, parade or spoke during a firehouse banquet, police officers and firefighters would approach him and discuss the accident and the tragedy of his wife Neilia and daughter Naomi falling victim to a drunken driver. Imagine how those discussions must have affected the young Senator.
Either way, we didn’t turn up any instances of Biden’s having publicly raised the issue in the last 13 years, and Biden has since apologized to Dunn’s daughter, while his spokesman declared that Biden now “fully accepts the Dunn family’s word that these rumors were false”:
Biden called [Dunn’s daughter Pam Hamill], she told me. “He apologized for hurting my family in any way,” she said. “So we accepted that — and kind of end of story from there.” She sounded tired, and tired of talking about this.
Maybe [Biden] was merely passing along rumors he had heard from investigators and others. A now-dead emergency worker who was on the scene that day suggested as much …
Or maybe Biden was engaging in what grief expert Rob Zucker described to me as “a retelling of the horror.” It’s something people sometimes do, he said, tweaking facts, shifting blame, if nothing else to make the grief more “palatable.”
“It’s a common challenge bereaved parents in particular struggle with after a sudden, violent death. I think the fact that he has this way of sometimes understanding the story is really an expression of the challenge for any person to go forward in their lives,” Zucker added.

Go to the Snopes article for clarity as to what part is quoted from someone and what part is not.
LOL. snopes are such fucking asshole hacks they can't come out and definitively state what we all know to be true.
go fuck yourself instead of little boys, pederast.
The Snopes article makes it clear that the National Review article and rat's use of it are vindictive, and that, all things considered, Joe Biden is indeed a decent human being.
And rat of course also lies in calling me a pederast. Let him give us his legal name and address and state that.
Maybe 5be can write about the time Biden got an F in a law school research class for plagiarizing 5 pages of a 15 page paper.
He had to retake the class the next year, got a 80, and ended up graduating 76th in a class of 85.
Syracuse law school
Did he hire someone to take his SAT for him?
Not thst I know of. Why? Maybe Laurie Laughlins girls did?
