Was the liberal push to cancel football based on fear of Covid or fear of exposure?
As it stands, we just passed the 10,000 death mark for people under the age of 45. For people under the age of 25 (pretty much all of college athletics as well as many pro-athletes) we have yet to reach 1000 people dead (735 as of last count). This seems to be a well hidden fact, that many seem quite intent on keeping it well hidden. For whatever reasons, people want you to believe that "everyone" is vulnerable to dying from Covid, even as the facts clearly show otherwise.
The truth is that one college football player was originally thought to have died from Covid, but later that diagnosis was reversed. No NFL player died of Covid. So while we did see many outbreaks, quite a few games were cancelled along the way, many teams had to occasionally play short-handed, the reality is that both the NCAA and the NFL was able to safely move through these seasons without medical fallout.
In many ways the completion of the College and NFL football seasons, down to the crowning of a champion, worked to show (or at least should have) that Covid is not really that dangerous to younger healthy Americans. The fact that as many positive tests that we saw came back with basically zero casualties is a testament to how you can fight and defeat Covid by just being healthy. The fact that Cam Newton tested positive was not cause to "cancel" the season. For Cam Newton, Covid was probably the easiest stint on the IR he ever had.
Perhaps we will learn some lessons from all of this? But I seriously doubt it.

Well obviously we have had many deaths with Covid but many are nor FROM Covid. Big difference which has screwed up all sorts of decisions and imo was intentionally done to hurt Trump.
As was a lot of the "science"
What we really learned from this is that it was RAY-CISS for Tom Brady to have won the Super Bowl during Black History Month.
Mahomes should've been allowed to win (think affirmative action here).
You have lost your mind.
After four years of blowing up the deficit (and cutting taxes to make the rich even richer) Republicans are suddenly concerned with fiscal responsibility. After four years of "my way or the highway", they are suddenly interested in bi-partisanship. After four years of hatred and division, they suddenly call for unity. After four years of denouncing BLM, Antifa, and other forms of "radical liberal agenda", they suddenly have no problem with white supremacy, QAnon, and nuts like Marjorie Taylor Greene. For four years they complained about left-wing protesters, then suddenly turned a blind eye to a violent right-wing insurrection.
For four years they defended a president (for whom there really was no defense) and now they refuse to even consider convicting him on impeachment charges. Even with Trump out of office, they remain reluctant to break from the "party of Trump" and put our country first. Most Republicans in Congress are nothing but a bunch of sycophants, traitors, cowards, and hypocrites.
END OF RANT.
The truthers are nothing but a bunch of sycophants, traitors, cowards, and hypocrites.
March down to the Capitol and fight
WHO suggests it won’t continue looking into coronavirus Wuhan lab escape hypothesis
