Trump attorneys respond to Democrat's calls for him to "testify" at fake impeachment trial

the demand for Trump to testify and the implication that to refuse is incriminating and somehow hurts him is indicative of just how juris-ignorant the democrats are regarding this process.

Trump earlier said he wanted to testify at his first impeachment trial and indicated he wanted to testify at this one. Why are his lawyers afraid to let him?

Easy enough. They know he would get tied up in his lies.

We shall see how "fake" the charges seem to the wider public.

Well Reverend...

as any defense attorney would tell you... defendants only take the stand in any trial if it is absolutely necessary.

Prosecution strong case = defendant forced to testify
Prosecution weak case = defendant will sit back and say nothing

The reason Trump didn't testify under oath is he did not want to get caught in a "perjury trap"

The prosecution (dems) can get anyone to testify different than that the president testifies and then it is perjury on his part if the "prosecution/dems" determine their "witness" is more credible.

It's a scum trick. Adam Schiff and the other dems can get away with blatant outright lies but he is shielded from prosecution by being in Congress. And the MSM whittles their thumbs and big tech gives them cover

I can see waterboying doesn't yield any intelligence.

Quote of the Day
10:56 am
“The one thing we learned is we can’t do too much here. We can do too little. We can do too little and sputter.”
— President Joe Biden, quoted by Bloomberg, meeting with House Democratic leaders and committee chairs on the Covid-19 relief package.

HE LEARNED HIS LESSON:
200 Obama Officials Urge Congress to Go Big
10:25 am
“More than 200 members of the Obama administration urged Congress on Friday not to shrink its stimulus bill in response to Republicans’ criticism about deficit spending, warning that Democrats risked repeating the same mistake they made 12 years ago, amid the last economic crisis,” the New York Times reports.

As long as it was Trump racking up tremendous deficits, Republican lawmakers twiddled their thumbs and smiled.

It's such a strong case that the prescribed judge won't even bother attending.

It's so impartial the democrat jury has already pronounced him "guilty"

The dems didn't even bother to bring forth a single witness in the House nor take depositions

GRAND OLD TRUMP PARTY

“The party is his. It doesn’t belong to anybody else.”
— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), quoted by CNN, on former president Donald Trump’s influence on the Republican party.

More than eighty-one million Americans want a party that belongs to THEM.

They want government of, by, and for the people,
not of, by. and for Trump.

The POS "pastor" keeps posting more fucking Goddard spam than anybody can reasonably keep up with. Without linking his source as is normal.

The BIG Lie (after the plagiarism)- you can't do too much

They are doing too much. And Obama basically doubled the entire U.S. debt

China loves that, especially when a lot of this package goes overseas and even to Communist China.

Any atrocities going on over there while Biden keeps his "C'mon man, they're good guys, guys" attitude ?

like ethnic cleansing and handicapped underage girls being handcuffed and raped or mass "re-education" camps. Is that going to be the Biden model ?

The "pastor" wondered why I even brought that up yesterday.

And as I glance back at the blog I see he's already posted more fucking Goddard off-topic spam.

What a fucking retard who covers every one of his losing arguments with more spam

SCHLICHTER: Trump Moves Out of the White House and into Their Heads.

Left to their own devices, the Establishment fails. Left to their own devices, the spotlight falls on them, and when that happens people see.

The truth is that they want Trump. They need Trump. They cannot let him go. Trump truly is the greatest real estate magnate ever, since he owns all the space inside the Establishment’s bloated heads.

You can see it as they insist on going forward with their Lucy n’ the football impeachment, which will end in failure and Trump’s exoneration. Forty-five Republicans have already pointed out the obvious – you can’t impeach someone who is not in office.

Plus, the impeachment itself is a substantive joke. As the president’s brief points out, more politely, it was written by bad lawyers like my loser congressjerk Ted Lieu and Eric Swalwell, who should stick to flatulence, being scammed by Chi Com doxies, and other tasks that he is actually good at.

Heh™ and Read the Whole Thing™.

I’d be much more likely to believe that Biden beat Trump in a popular vote landslide if he or anyone in his administration or one single Democrat on Capitol Hill behaved as though Biden had beat Trump in a popular vote landslide.

Or is she flying home to California to get behind her secured walls and eat ice cream ?

Or both ?

Roger, the Senate passed the house Bill?

With the $15 minimum wage ?

"Roger AmickFebruary 5, 2021 at 9:40 AM

It passed in the Senate last night.

I will get the $1,400 this month like 250,000,000 other Americans"

Not the Biden promised and Roger/Jane assured use he would deliver $2,000?

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

Is Kansa Democrat's yearly earning so low that he he will receive the Biden $1400 in addition to the $600 sent out at the last by Trump?

Nope

And didn't get the Trump $1,800 .

TIRED OF TRUMP TWITTER?

THE NEW YORK TIMES REPORTS:
Biden to Revive Weekly Address
1:32 pm
“President Biden, seeking ways to advance his agenda in a cluttered media landscape, is set to revive a presidential tradition that faded under his predecessor: the weekly radio address.

“The Biden version is not exactly just a man and his microphone. White House press aides said that some installments could follow a traditional president-talks-to-the-people format, but they were also planning to pair Mr. Biden with everyday Americans and other guests, recreating the informal style of popular podcasts.”

or corn pop. we haven't heard from ol' corny pop in a long time. or when he used to gather around the TV and watch FDR.

C'mon man, let's have the fireside chat on the radio. with a sweater. and a side of malaise.
