Obviously there is more to this than just races and age, but the breakdown is not significantly black or significantly white. There seems to be a reasonable mixture and it makes you wonder if there will be any racial division in the deliberations.
According to most onlookers the prosecution got a more favorable jury pool than the defense. That was bound to happen given the circumstances, but possibly could have been avoided had the Judge either changed venues or created a more liberal criteria for striking people for cause. Even when a potential juror admitted that they were biased against Chauvin, the judge did not strike them for cause unless they also admitted that they could not be neutral. So even a half assed attempt to claim that they could put aside their bias was enough to force the defense to use preemptory strikes.
Of course, all it takes is one as they say. One juror who believes that there is a reasonable doubt that Derek Chauvin "murdered" George Floyd by using an approved police restraining method to someone resisting arrest. One juror who believes that it is reasonable that someone with three time the fatal amount of Fentanyl in his system with physical evidence that points to drug overdose might have actually overdosed. Someone who has reasonable questions that Floyd was strangled with no physical evidence of strangulation or that he suffered a heart attack with no physical symptoms of a heart attack.

But the facts favor the defense.
I hope they get this right but the pressure is for mob rule.

Duke University has launched an investigation after a student found a copy of George Floyd’s toxicology report posted on a bulletin board commemorating Black History Month.
“A printout of George Floyd’s toxicology report was hung beside a photo of his face on a Black History Month-themed bulletin board on the third floor of Brown dorm” on March 20, the student newspaper The Chronicle said.
“We are completely aligned with the idea that a person who causes harm to others in this community and elsewhere should be held accountable,” Dean of Students John Blackshear said at a meeting with residents of the Brown Residence Hall. The dean said information had been turned over to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards.
Floyd died at the hands of Minneapolis police officers in May 2020 and the trial of one of the officers, Derek Chauvin, has started with jury selection.
The student newspaper did not include photos of the posted report in its article, but it did describe what it looked like.
“Each compound listed on the toxicology report was underlined with a pink pen, and the person wrote notes across the top of the page insinuating that Floyd was responsible for his own death,” the paper said.

Authorities on Tuesday identified the suspect in the shooting deaths of 10 people at a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, as 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, whose brother said he was deeply disturbed.
Alissa, who is from Arvada, has been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder for the massacre. He was taken into custody after being shot during apprehension.
Ali Aliwi Alissa, the suspect’s 34-year-old brother, told The Daily Beast that authorities searched his house all night after the shooting.
Alissa described his brother as “very anti-social” and paranoid, adding that, in high school, he would describe “being chased, someone is behind him, someone is looking for him.”
“When he was having lunch with my sister in a restaurant, he said, ‘People are in the parking lot, they are looking for me.’ She went out, and there was no one. We didn’t know what was going on in his head,” Alissa said, admitting that he believes his brother is mentally ill
It looks like a seriously mentally disabled man shot 10 people. It will take time to get enough information about him, how he acquired a semi automatic rifle.
The police will be investigating on his motives.

If he bought it legally, the mandatory investigation into a person's background should be implemented on gun show sales.

He will be released soon and will be charged with 10 murders.

So Al Aliwi Alissa can be provided the due process of an assumption of innocence. But Derek Chauvin and his attorneys have the burden of "proving reasonable doubt".
