When asked about Floyd's death, 64% of Black people described it as a murder, according to the poll. Among White respondents, 28% described it as murder and 33% said "it was negligence on part of the officer."
USA Today/Ipsos conducted a similar poll in June as protests condemning police brutality took place across the United States. Last year, 60% of all respondents described Floyd's death as murder. That number dropped to 36% in the latest poll.
It's alarming that we actually have a racial division regarding something that should be fairly factual in terms of how we define it. But while it is alarming, it is not surprising. I cannot stress enough that in the modern 2021 world the concept of basic facts are not what they used to be. Society now allows people to pick and choose which "facts" to believe and which "facts" to discount, almost without judgement. But if there was a place in our society where facts need to be treated like traditional facts it should be in the courtroom, where we have an several amendments in the bill of rights specific to making sure accused are granted a fair trial. But how can a trial be "fair" if we allow different people to make their own determinations as to what is "fact".
Technically the jury is who determines fact in any trial. So there is always been a degree of subjectivity to a proceeding. But there are always portions of any trial where factual evidence should be taken as fact and not opinion. There should also be portions of any trial where opinion should be taken as opinion and not fact.
I suspect that as the traditional facts of the case against Derek Chauvin become more public and more mainstreamed, that the results of the next poll will show even less Americans believing Chauvin committed murder. There should also be a smaller percent of the public who even claim that the death was due to negligence. All factual evidence that we know about (and that the general public will be eventually exposed to) will show no physical or medical evidence that George Floyd died of anything other than an opioid overdose from likely digesting large amounts of Fentanyl to avoid having it found by the police.
While some (like the prosecution) will continue to argue that Chauvin (or the other officers) should be found guilty because he didn't do enough to prevent the overdose from killing Floyd, that puts just another burden on police to do what they are not trained to do. It's a question if even the best of medical personnel would have been able to save George Floyd from death in this situation. That assumes medical schooling, medical experience, and medical expertise that police officers just do not have. To convict someone of murder because they lacked the skill necessary to save someone from a drug overdose stretches the limits of public responsibility well beyond any reasonable limit.

In the last century, dictatorial philosophies, both right and left.
Fascism and Communism.
But beyond that.
If we take race out of discussion, from what I have been learning about the legal issues, the prosecution can persuade the jury to convict him with manslaughter.
Because the medical evidence, according to the state autopsy showed drugs contributed to his death, but the chokehold imo upon the evidence, is guilty of manslaughter.
Murder has a higher demand, evidence of intent. I don't think he wanted to kill George Floyd.
Public opinion is imo irrelevant.
The former was accused of much more disgraceful sexual harassment than Como, but you and millions of Americans didn't give a shit.
Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, who represent New York in the U.S. Senate, have called on Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign as he faces multiple sexual harassment allegations and a scandal stemming from his handling of the Covid-19 crisis.
Schumer and Gillibrand, both Democrats, are the most prominent officials yet to call for Cuomo’s resignation.
Democrats are far more responsible than you and millions others.

Over 240 years ago the founding fathers feared censorship, so the situation today is not different than when we formed the greatest political system in history.

How the Pandemic Changed Biden’s Politics
Jamelle Bouie:
“I would even say that the American Rescue Plan compares favorably with the signature legislation of F.D.R.’s first 100 days, in that its $1.9 trillion price tag dwarfs the mere tens of billions (in inflation-adjusted dollars) spent by Congress during the earliest period of the New Deal. The challenge is very different — a Great Depression and its attendant unemployment and immiseration versus a health crisis and its economic impact — but the ambition is of similar scope.
“Indeed, the story of this bill may be the story of how Biden has repudiated the austerity politics of much of the last decade, as well as the anti-assistance paradigm he himself helped forge when, as a senator, he warned in 1988 of ‘welfare mothers driving luxury cars’ and voted, in 1996, to make so-called welfare reform a reality."

With the pain of supply shortages being felt across Europe, Spain on Wednesday became the first E.U. country to partly suspend immunizations for lack of doses. It announced that it would suspend the vaccination program in Madrid for two weeks, and warned that Catalonia may follow suit.
“Tomorrow our fridges will be empty,” said Josep Maria Argimon, a regional health official in Catalonia, referring to the dwindling supplies of vaccine.

JONATHAN CAPEHART:
I think the most memorable moment from President Biden's speech last night was when he sort of broke decorum and speech protocol by leaning on the podium and leaning into the camera and saying, "I need you."
...sure [the speech] was workmanlike and brief, and sure, it didn't have the soaring rhetoric. But ... it just--it overflowed with empathy, and I don't think he can give too many speeches where he's overflowing with empathy, especially after the last four years where we had a president who had none and also used every opportunity to talk to the American people, to talk about himself.
The European Union has been besieged by problems since it approved its first coronavirus vaccine in December and rushed to begin a vast immunization campaign, but now its woes have snowballed into a full-blown crisis.

“Tomorrow our fridges will be empty,” said Josep Maria Argimon, a regional health official in Catalonia, referring to the dwindling supplies of vaccine.
Tensions were also raised by an escalating dispute with AstraZeneca over the drugmaker’s announcement that it would slash deliveries of its vaccine by 60 percent because of production shortfalls.
When the European Union approved its first vaccine, made by Pfizer and BioNTech, in December, it was already weeks behind rich nations like the United States and Britain.
While it is flush with cash, influence and negotiating heft, the bloc of 27 nations has found itself behind not just the U.S. and Britain, but also other countries like Israel, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
Across the world, many countries, particularly poorer ones, are struggling to secure any vaccine at all.
Last week, the E.U.’s executive branch, the European Commission, set a goal of having 70 percent of its population inoculated by this summer. Four days later the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, pronounced that “difficult.”
By this week, a mere 2 percent of E.U. citizens had received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine, according to numbers collected by Our World in Data. That figure was around 40 percent for Israel, 11 percent for Britain and just over 6 percent for the United States.
The vaccine shortages in the European Union come against a backdrop of crisis.
The second wave of the virus is still raging second wave of the coronavirus amid prolonged lockdowns in most member countries and anxiety over the spread of at least two highly infectious variants of the virus that are bringing national health systems to their knees yet again.

A transformational approach.
This has been one of the most quietly consequential weeks in recent American politics.
The Covid-19 relief law that was just enacted is one of the most important pieces of legislation of our lifetimes. As Eric Levitz writes in New York magazine, the poorest fifth of households will see their income rise by 20 percent; a family of four with one working and one unemployed parent will receive $12,460 in benefits. Child poverty will be cut in half.
Somehow low-key Joe Biden gets yawns when he promotes progressive policies that would generate howls if promoted by a President Sanders or a President Warren.
This moment is like 1981, the dawn of the Reagan Revolution, except in reverse. It’s not just that government is heading in a new direction, it’s that the whole paradigm of the role of government in American life is shifting. Biden is not causing these tectonic plates to shift, but he is riding
The role of government is being redefined. There is now an assumption that government should step in to reduce economic insecurity and inequality. Even Republicans like Tom Cotton and Mitt Romney, for example, are cooking up a plan to actively boost wages for American workers.
This is not socialism. This is not the federal government taking control of the commanding heights of the economy. This is not a bunch of programs to restrain corporate power. Americans’ trust in government is still low. This is the Transfer State: government redistributing massive amounts of money by cutting checks to people, and having faith that they spend it in the right ways.
But income inequality, widespread child poverty and economic precarity are the problems of our time. It’s worth taking a risk to tackle all this. At first Biden seemed like the third chapter of the Clinton/Obama center-left era. But this is something new.
Joe Biden Is a Transformational President I told you so!

So, who do you think of when the needle goes into your arm? Who do you blame when your japed shoulder aches at night? The 45th president of the United States of America, Donald Trump, would like for you to think of him.
In a statement distributed Wednesday by his “communications team,” Trump said the following: “I hope everyone remembers when they’re getting the COVID-19 (often referred to as the China Virus) Vaccine, that if I wasn’t President, you wouldn‘t be getting that beautiful ‘shot’ for 5 years, at best, and probably wouldn’t be getting it at all. I hope everyone remembers!”
Oh, how we remember. We remember the half-million Americans dead; we remember the superspreader events, the mega-rallies and the White House gatherings hosted by the then-president; we remember his disregard of his own health experts and his mockery of masks. We remember the White House press briefing when Trump said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendation to wear a mask was “voluntary. I don’t think I’m going to be doing it.”
AD
ADVERTISING
And we remember that Trump himself contracted the coronavirus and was transported to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center while the country discussed whether Vice President Mike Pence should begin rehearsing the presidential oath. We remember, too, the many blunders and endless disinformation emanating from the White House while infection and death rates steadily rose unabated. And, not least, we recall Trump’s ruminations on the possible curative benefits of bleach injections.
Apparently, the former president feels he’s not receiving enough credit — or attention — for the vaccines currently going into 2 million American arms a day under President Biden. What with Twitter and Facebook now beyond his reach, Trump has no audience to satisfy his insatiable appetite for praise and applause. “Thank Trump” has been trending this week on Twitter, however, suggesting that his supporters have taken up the cause. On Fox News, Sean Hannity has said that Biden should call Trump and thank him.
Therefore, whereas and henceforth, let it be resolved that Donald J. Trump created an exemplary public-private partnership, propelled by a $14 billion federal investment under the rubric Operation Warp Speed, to create vaccines and treatment in record time. For this, he deserves credit and, if you wish, praise and applause.
Why did all living ex presidents record a PSA advocating vaccinations and trump played golf???? Why do sooooo many in the GOP think wearing masks is stupid and why do sooooo many refuse to be vaccinated???? Why does the GOP hate the US??????
This is not socialism. This is not the federal government taking control of the commanding heights of the economy. This is not a bunch of programs to restrain corporate power. Real leadership.
When the top leaders of the United States, Japan, India and Australia met at a virtual summit on Friday, there was a clear message beneath the official statements: A new grouping of like-minded nations has arrived on the international stage.
It was the first meeting of the top leaders of the four participant countries in the loose coalition known as the “Quad,” and a significant step toward cementing a partnership of democracies — and counterweight to China — that had once appeared more concept than reality.
President Biden is building on the previous administration’s efforts to solidify the strategic partnership as he formulates his approach to China. Biden’s push for the first-ever meeting of leaders so early in the administration signals that the Quad will become a central part of the U.S. strategy in Asia, experts say.
“One thing it says is that this is certainly bipartisan. Both the concept of the Quad, as well as the [concept] that the Indo-Pacific region should be thought of as a grouping, have cut across partisan lines,” said Sameer Lalwani, expert at the Stimon Center who has studied the emerging coalition. “It’s an important signal that the Biden administration is pushing forward on this.”
Each of the countries has a complicated relationship with China, and the Quad is not a formal alliance. The countries do not explicitly call out what they view as Chinese aggression with one voice, and instead emphasize their desire to pursue a “positive vision” for the region.
Still, China remains the subtext of the Quad meetings. Building on the quartet’s partnership will be crucial to Biden’s strategy to remain tough on China, experts say.
“The underlying message is that they have the willingness and resolve that they should work together on China, even if they don’t mention China in their respective statements,” said Derek Grossman, senior defense analyst at the Rand Corp.
Until now, the Quad has consisted of meetings of senior officials, as well as a joint naval exercise last November.
On Friday, the four nations pledged to jointly manufacture and deliver up to 1 billion doses of coronavirus vaccine throughout Southeast Asia and potentially elsewhere by the end of next year. The vaccine would be produced by India, with additional funding from the United States and Japan, and distributed with logistical support from Australia, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Friday.
The announcement marked a significant step, showing that the Quad can “go from consultation and coordination to active cooperation in ways we can see,” said Tanvi Madan, director of the India Project at the Brookings Institution. It’s a “proof of concept.”
The Quad concept dates to 2004, when the four countries came together for disaster relief efforts among their navies following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.
The four countries are all democracies and maritime powers that have declared their common interests in a “free and open Indo-Pacific,” a term referring to the region encompassing the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
All four nations have seen their relations with China deteriorate — in some cases dramatically — in recent years. That, in turn, has provided fresh impetus.
“If China wasn’t challenging the rules-based order in the region, I’m not sure the Quad would exist, at least not in this form or with this urgency,” Madan said.
China has made clear its dislike for the idea of a new grouping, and views the Quad meetings as an attempt to encircle it. In 2018, China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, said that talk of the Quad and an “Indo-Pacific” region might grab headlines but would dissipate “like sea foam.” Last year, Wang said the group was part of an effort to create “an Asian NATO” that would destabilize regional security.

Mr Trump has subsequently defended his comment claiming "I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters."
Claim 2"I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you're going to test that too... So, we'll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute - that's pretty powerful."
Mr Trump has also floated the idea of exposing patients to "ultraviolet or just very powerful light".
There is some evidence that, in general, viruses on surfaces die more quickly when exposed directly to sunlight. But we don't know how much or how long they have to be exposed for UV light to have an effect.
And again, this is only about infected objects and surfaces - not about what happens once the virus is inside your body.

By the time the virus has taken hold inside your body, no amount of UV light on your skin is going to make a difference.
"UV irradiation and high heat are known to kill virus particles on surfaces," says Dr Penny Ward, visiting professor in pharmaceutical medicine at Kings College London. But "neither sitting in the sun, nor heating, will kill a virus replicating in an individual patient's internal organs".

DURHAM, N.C., March 10, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- EmitBio Inc., today announced new evidence that demonstrates its proprietary light technology can inactivate variants of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, including the highly infectious United Kingdom and South Africa variants. These findings indicate important effectiveness against potentially more transmissible mutations of COVID-19.

"We have yet to find a coronavirus or a mutation thereof that our treatment does not kill," continued Hunter.
EmitBio™ has developed a novel, hand-held treatment device* that directs energy into the upper respiratory tract with 100% of the dose available in the area of need, thereby avoiding the possible side effects of systemic treatments. This device has been designed as an at-home treatment for mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in adults testing positive for SARS-CoV-2. The company recently reported results from a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial with the investigational treatment device, which showed a 99.9% reduction in viral load in adults with COVID-19. These clinical study results confirmed the expectations derived from in-vitro experiments that showed the antiviral effects of safe visible light on SARS-CoV-2. The clinical trial results along with the results from a Phase I safety study in healthy volunteers have been submitted as part of a comprehensive package to the FDA requesting Emergency Use Authorization (EUA).

Reality in Soviet news was 100% binary, with all people either heroes or villains, and the villains all in league with one another (an SR was no better than a fascist or a “Right-Trotskyite Bandit,” a kind of proto-horseshoe theory). Other ideas were not represented, except to be attacked and deconstructed. Also, since anything good was all good, politicians were not described as people at all but paragons of limitless virtue — 95% of most issues of Pravda or Izvestia were just names of party leaders surrounded by lists of applause-words, like “glittering,” “full-hearted,” “wise,” “mighty,” “courageous,” “in complete moral-political union with the people,” etc.
Some of the headlines in the U.S. press lately sound suspiciously like this kind of work:
— Biden stimulus showers money on Americans, sharply cutting poverty
— Champion of the middle class comes to the aid of the poor
— Biden's historic victory for America

Correction
Clinton left with a republican Congress who gave him nearly balanced budgets
Nancy spends more money than a drunken sailor
And Biden signs off
Bidenism will save the United States of America.
how exactly, alky?
please be specific.
all Biden has to offer is the same thing every democrat does - the equal distribution of misery. but this time it has a shiny new name - 'equity.'
Clinton got ERXTREMELY lucky and his timing was excellent. He enjoyed the inflation of the dot-com bubble and he exited stage left just as it burst. I know because I was up to my eyeballs in it. Dozens of business plans for the most absurd vaporware ever concocted crossed my desk each week. some so fucking ridiculous they really did make us laugh out loud, often in meetings with the app developers themselves. and I can assure you, Bill Clinton had absolutely nothing to do with it. zero, zip, nada.
so, back to Bidenism. other than a sometimes cruel and all the time funny internet meme, what exactly will Slow Joe's handlers going to put on his teleprompter to read that is going to make everything all better?
He's killing jobs by the tens of thousands, gas prices are up a full buck, and he just signed a $1.9 TRILLION spending spree with only 9% of it going towards direct relief from the virus.
Bidenism. LOL. too funny.
Thousands of vaccinators to vaccinate everyone. That sounds amazing, but it does raise at least one vexing question.
What if you don't want to get vaccinated? Not everyone does. Some people have religious objections. Others have concerns about this specific medicine. Others simply don't want it.
Do you need a reason to turn down the vaccine? And what happens if you do turn it down? Will you be allowed to fly on airplanes, or go to work, or enter the front doors of Madison Square Garden? Joe Biden didn't specify, but it's pretty hard to believe he would support any kind of vaccine coercion. As he has told us so often over so many years, if it's your body, it's your choice.
...
Quite frankly, you've got the absolute right to make your own personal decisions about your own personal health care. Period. That's in the Constitution. Joe Biden would never violate that right, he's been defending that right since before you were born. It's your body, it's your choice. Period.
Of course, as with everything, there are caveats. If you don't take the shot that Joe Biden wants you to take, if you persist in making your own personal decisions about your own personal health care, then Joe Biden is going to have to shut the country down again. No socially distanced barbecues for you, buddy. You're going to have to eat your hot dogs alone, inside.
The ACA didn't make health insurance mandatory;
It not having it meant you would incur a tax penalty.
It made it less costly than the tax penalty.
It was an incentive to buy Obamacare.
But it was not mandatory.
THWAP
Alky that some of the stupidest shit ever posted.

— Biden stimulus showers money on Americans, sharply cutting poverty
this is the single most ridiculous thing we'll read all week.
had ALL $1.9 TRILLION gone to American taxpayers there might be a point. a lousy $1400 isn't going to pull ANYONE out of poverty. A $100,000/year job on the Keystone Pipeline on the other hand? THAT pulls a family out of poverty.
our president is an imbecile in severe cognitive decline. the only difference between Biden and the alky is that Biden has handlers to keep him from stepping on 100 rakes/day.
Slow Joe's handlers going to put on his teleprompter to read that is going to make everything all better?
Obama knew how to read slow, frown and put his nose up in the air.
Biden has to squint, try to keep his eye on the proper words as he reads, and make sure not to forget to put his mask on when he's finished then not to answer any questions.
He even has forgotten to mask-up after the last two times he "spoke"
He's killing me !!!
ROFLMFAO !!!
What’s in the bill
That brings us to the question of what’s actually in the bill.
Republicans have raised this question throughout the discussion of Biden’s proposal, in some cases exaggerating the nature of the spending that’s not tied directly to COVID-19 containment.
A long list of initiatives is clearly related to the pandemic, however.
About 22% of the total bill comes from the $422 billion set aside for $1,400-per-person stimulus checks. Another 13% ($246 billion) is for extending additional unemployment funding of $400 a week.
A combined 12% is going to:
Subsidized COBRA for laid-off workers.
Affordable Care Act subsidies for the next two years.
Expanded nutrition assistance to replace school lunch programs during the pandemic.
Funding for testing and contact tracing.
Disaster Relief Fund increases and covering COVID-19-related funeral expenses.
Grants to airlines and contractors to freeze layoffs through September.
Defense Production Act funding for medical supplies.
Grants for restaurants and bars that have lost revenue in the pandemic.
Economic Injury Disaster Loan Advance grants of up to $10,000 per business.
Another $519 billion – 27% of the total – is going to state and local governments and schools, much of which will make up losses related to the pandemic and help schools reopen. Republicans note much of the school funding, however, won’t be spent immediately.
If the government and school aid is included in this category, about 85% of the American Rescue Plan is pandemic-related, according to a breakdown by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
The analysis here examines the House version of the plan, which still must pass the Senate before it could head to Biden’s desk to be signed into law. The Senate could make changes – notably, it is expected to drop efforts to increase the minimum wage –which would bounce it back to the House.

Our ruling: False
We rate this claim FALSE because it is not supported by our research. There’s room for debate over exactly how much of the $1.9 trillion is related to the pandemic. It's surely not all of it. But this claim bungles a widely circulating 9% stat.

Governors that Biden Praised Now Hang On By a Thread After Horrific COVID-19 Scandals
It’s another no good, very bad week for President Biden’s closest Gubernatorial allies.
Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-New York) is facing impeachment threats from members of his own party, Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-Michigan) has been dubbed “the Andrew Cuomo of the Midwest” for her own nursing home scandal, and more than 2 million people are calling for Governor Gavin Newsom (D-California) to be recalled. The magnitude of aid, especially combined with last year’s relief, is much greater than the U.S. government has responded to other economic crises. The response to the Great Recession was about $1.8 trillion over several years and the most optimistic estimates are that about 6 million Americans were kept out of poverty in 2009 because of efforts by Congress at the time.
Biden and his top officials have repeatedly said they have learned lessons from the mistakes made during the Great Recession response. This time around they want to go big enough to ensure jobs return swiftly. They want a package that, in the words of White House press secretary Jen Psaki, will get families “talking about it at their dinner tables.”
Many economists say the package is far from perfect, but they broadly agree that this crisis has been an unprecedented hit on low-income workers and their children and the aid should be targeted most toward them.
Senate passes Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill
Recent history has shown that giving money to poorer families delivers the greatest boost to the economy, because those Americans are the most likely to spend the money right away, increasing demand for products and services.

They are coming to get you
Across the nation, FBI agents are swooping down upon conservative activists, Trump supporters, and anyone suspected of any tie to the January 6 clash at the Capitol. Conservative author Candace Owens tweeted on March 3: “About 10 of my friends who attended Trump’s speech but DID NOT go to Capitol building thereafter have had the FBI turn up at their door to ask them why they went to D.C. … Our FBI is trying to scare conservatives against ever gathering in the future.”
Actually, the potential problem is far worse for people targeted by the feds. FBI chief Christopher Wray, who is scrambling to deliver the indictments that will please his congressional overlords, says the agency is conducting 2,000 domestic terrorism investigations. Few Americans recognize how badly the legal playing field is tilted against them.
Flashback: Former Joe Biden Secret Service Agent: We Had to Protect Women From Him, ‘Weinstein Level Stuff’
A former Secret Service agent assigned to the Vice President Joe Biden residence claims that the Service often had to protect female agents from him.
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the agent asserted that, “We had to cancel the VP Christmas get together at the Vice President’s house because Biden would grope all of our wives and girlfriend’s asses.” The annual party was for agents and Navy personnel who were tasked with protecting the Biden family.
“He would mess with every single woman or teen. It was horrible,” the agent said.

According to the source, a Secret Service agent once got suspended for a week in 2009 for shoving Biden after he cupped his girlfriend’s breast while the couple was taking a photo with him. The situation got so heated, the source told Cassandra Fairbanks, that others had to step in to prevent the agent from hitting the then-Vice President.
Additionally, the agent claims that Biden would walk around the VP residence naked at night. “I mean, Stark naked… Weinstein level stuff,” he added.

NBPC Chief: We Have Never Experienced A Border Crisis Like This
“I’m going on 24 years as an active Border Patrol agent, and I can tell you that I have never seen a day to day, week over week increase like what we’re currently seeing right now,” said Brandon Judd the Chief of National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) on Fox News.
“We’ve dealt with these types of numbers in the past. We’ve dealt with them in in 2000, you know, in the early 2000. We dealt with them in 2014. We dealt with them in 2019. But what we didn’t see during that time, is we didn’t see the rapid increase like what we’re seeing right now. And so we’ve got this very serious problem. The American public should be very concerned about what is currently going on the border, because if this if this increase continues to go on, we will apprehend more people than we’ve ever apprehended in any year in the history of the of the United States Border Patrol.

The new $1.9 trillion "American Rescue Plan" signed into law on Thursday doesn't prevent stimulus payments from being garnished. While lawmakers tried to include a provision protecting the payments, the way the legislation was passed through budget reconciliation didn't allow for its inclusion.

Geppetto Joe is going directly against Science, Why? The 4th of July, 2021, cancelled.
"Anthony Fauci stated that people who have been vaccinated shouldn’t “hit the clubs until we get the level of virus down so low that there’s no threat to hit the clubs.” And that he thinks performances like late-night shows can have audiences back, “not necessarily full capacity, as we get into the early fall” if the “overwhelming majority” of people are vaccinated by that time."

New York Times: “The Republican Party in the era following Donald J. Trump’s presidency is comprised of five ‘tribes’ that have ranging affinity for the former president and different desires when it comes to seeing him continue to lead the party, according to a new survey by Mr. Trump’s former pollster.”
According to the survey, those “tribes” and their percentage of the party are:

Post-Trump GOP: 20%
