Biggest security threat since the last Capital building threat?

Apparently the driver pulled out a knife and was shot on the spot

I am going to guess that this guy was white. Reason being that if he was black and only carrying a knife we would have another Jacob Blake incident where everyone would riot because a cop shot a black man who was only wielding a knife. You don't get to shoot black people who are carrying anything other than a machine gun, and then only after you have made every attempt to disarm him peacefully.

On the flip side, law enforcement is always free to shoot to kill if the suspect is White. He probably doesn't even need a weapon. You just tie him loosely to some White Supremacy movement (perhaps he once had a Parler account, votes Republican, or maybe is a Christian) and anything goes.

Now I could be proven wrong here. Perhaps the "suspect" isn't white. Perhaps he is Black, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, or even Asian. But at this point, given the reaction of law enforcement and the touchy nature of race relations, I am thinking the non-White thing is a long shot. But if I am wrong, then I apologize in advance for "assuming" too much.
