Sorry to inform, but if those who run professional and college football, those who run professional baseball, and those who run the other major sports leagues are thinking they have a good market strategy by appealing to liberals and the woke generation, while turning their backs on red states and conservative voters... then look for our Major leagues to start to look like regional semi-pro leagues.
Football without Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Florida? Basketball without Indiana? You really think that these people can cut off their own noses to spite their faces and come out smelling like a snowflake colored rose?
The NFL already went through this once, with the taking of the knee and Colin Kaepernick situation. They lost. Almost nobody takes a knee anymore, and Colin Kaepernick is still not employed by any NFL team. Do they lack the sort of brainpower necessary to avoid a second attempt at becoming a woke business that appeals to liberals and millennials? What makes them think this time will turn out any differently?
BTW: The buzz is that Major League Baseball is looking to move the game to the great state of sexual assaulting Governors and incompetent Covid leadership. Of course I am referring to the woke blue state of New York. But I guess voting laws are not the real driver here, as New York has more overall restrictive voting laws than Georgia does.

Wokism.
When we see Biden, on his first day, pushing for boys to compete in girl's sports, restoring racist training for federal employees, and canceling education about American history, and we see deranged call to defund and abolish the same law enforcement agencies that protect us every day, and our leaders, preoccupied with woke virtue signaling, while a humanitarian crisis spirals out of control.
We need to know, that these are the fruits trees planted hundreds of years ago. One reason they have been successful, is their mastery of language, they hide their vicious intolerant ideas behind words like diversity, equity and inclusion.
Of course, in their true meanings, they are good things. Diversity is part of nature and we should love it for that reason alone. It is important to make sure that everyone is included in the amazing American opportunities that America offers. It is obvious that hasn't always been true in the past.
But, these positive truths have been hijacked by hateful dogma in service of a radically destructive mission to replace family, faith, and culture, with a new ideology.
So, when your local government, your health provider, you corporate H.R. department, starts mouthing the woke-cabulary, forcing workers to denounce themselves and each other. When your grandchildren return from university talking and behaving like red guards from Chairman Mao's cultural revolution. When your children come home from school and tell you, that they now know they're actually racist. When you see this this evil fanatical religious terror, creeping into every aspect of your life, destroying careers, friendships, and relationships, realize what it is, it not going away like a fad.
Wokeism has been marching forward for a hundred years, marching through our institutions, through the power centers. Marching through our culture and society. It has all the hallmarks of the worst authoritarian regimes in history, but it is more insidious and dangerous -- it is the enemy within. And right now it is winning, we need to wake up and overturn wokeism with our own revolution, fight it wherever you see it.
Loony toons
They're all afraid of being called racist. Half rhe country is fed up with the accusation. Opposing the liberal agenda does not make one racist. If this shit does not stop, we will end up in a 2nd civil war.
FNC's "The Next Revolution" host Steve Hilton discusses the philosophy behind what he calls the religion of "Wokeism," arguing it is the result of "a planned and carefully executed campaign to destroy our society that began a century ago" and did not simply "spring fully formed from AOC's Twitter account or the death of George Floyd."
Tbe cancel culture certainly seems out of control.
Do they lack the sort of brainpower necessary to avoid a second attempt at becoming a woke business that appeals to liberals and millennials? What makes them think this time will turn out any differently?
Myballs is exactly correct. It's not so much that they feel they have a lot to gain from being "woke" (which in and of itself is probably the single stupidest fucking thing to come out of these fucking buffoons)...
...it's the fear of being labeled a racist, even though thanks to the left the term really has no meaning at all anymore.
When everything is racist, nothing is racist.
These companies should be telling the left to go fuck themselves.

That's where the alky stole his comment.
George Floyd is not on trial.
Just the man charged for his actions.
Nothing else
I already posted it
Wokeism is a con.
Systemic racism is a con.
Intersectionality is a con.
The whole "Junkie Floyd was murdered" mantra is a con.
Trayvon Martin was a con.
Michael Brown and his bullshit "Hands up, don't shoot" was a con.
Breanna what's her name was a con.
The little bastard in Kenosha the cops turned into a shopping cart was a con.
BLM, in addition to being a domestic terror organization is a con. Same with antifa.
Literally everything being espoused by the left is a fucking CON, straight up. And those who capitulate to it, paying the bribe, think they're purchased the right to be left alone by these people. Fools.
The only thing that the left deserves at this point is a barb wire-wrapped baseball bat to the face.
Repeatedly.
Fuck these people.
THE ONLY THING IN RATS NARROW MIND IS REMAINING IN POWER AT ALL COSTS!!!! BTW....TREVON MARTIN IS DEAD IS A CON?????? You really are a sick asshole!!!!!!

WHAT WE NEED: The Coalition of the Un-Woke.
The metastasis of the “woke” ideology is the most comprehensive threat facing the American republic. It is appallingly totalitarian, insofar as the woke wield the levers of cancel culture to suppress all dissident speech, root out all wrongthink and achieve by sheer force an intellectual homogeneity. It is outright racist, insofar as intersectionality and identity politics, to say nothing of vogue concepts such as “critical race theory” and “racial equity,” overtly discriminate on the basis of race and thus undermine the preeminent American ethos of equal protection under the law.
As if out of a dystopian novel, though, the woke ideology has nonetheless become the unifying creed of the American ruling class. That ruling class, which extends from public sector bureaucracies to the Fortune 500 to Hollywood to Silicon Valley and sundry others in between, has in recent years universally come to imbibe, promulgate and disseminate the core tenets of wokeness.
What’s more, that universality often takes the more insidious form of cross-institutional collusion: As Matthew Schmitz put it in a Tablet essay last September, “Governmental authorities and corporations now coordinate in enforcing the dictates of the new secular progressive faith.” Thus has the woke ideology completed, a la the Italian Marxist theorist Antonio Gramsci, its long march through the institutions. And let’s not mince words: This is Marxism. As Israeli political theorist Yoram Hazony carefully outlined in a Quillette essay last August, “The new Marxists do not use the technical jargon that was devised by 19th-century Communists,” but “their politics are based on Marx’s framework for critiquing liberalism.” . . .
There are certainly some high-profile left-liberal defectors from the woke ideology’s institutional “long march.” Former New York Times editor Bari Weiss, for instance, has become something of a one-woman cottage industry in calling out the execrableness of “critical race theory,” the widespread media gaslighting with respect to the true identity of anti-Asian hate-crime culprits and other woke excesses. There are many others, such as Caitlin Flanagan and even popular HBO host Bill Maher. But in their present condition, left-liberals are too outnumbered and too ill-equipped to take on the wokesters themselves. Instead, some sort of new tactical/strategic alliance is needed.
Indeed.

More hypocrisy from MLB
Major League Baseball responded to calls to boycott the state of Georgia over a controversial new voter-ID law by moving the All-Star game out of the Peach State.
But teams still requires fans to show photo ID to pick up their tickets from the Will Call booth.
South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace called the league out on Twitter.
"Hey @MLB, this you?" she wrote, along with a screenshot of the Will Call policy at mlb.com
The league did not respond to multiple requests for an explanation of its photo ID policy for ticket retrieval.
Proponents of the move to abandon Atlanta’s Truist Park for this year’s All-Star Game have argued that Georgia’s new GOP-backed election integrity law is a form of voter suppression and is racist. President Biden even called it "Jim Crow in the 21st Century."
Georgia’s new law comes after Democrats swept both Senate races in runoff votes and President Biden edged out former President Trump on Election Day.
