No matter how hard they try!

Election Integrity: 62% Don’t Think Voter ID Laws Discriminate
Most voters say it’s more important to prevent cheating in elections than to make it easier to vote and, by more than a two-to-one margin, they reject claims that voter ID laws are discriminatory.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 29% of Likely U.S. Voters say laws requiring photo identification at the polls discriminate against some voters. Sixty-two percent (62%) say voter ID laws don’t discriminate.
A majority (51%) of voters believe it is likely that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, including 35% who say it’s Very Likely cheating affected the election.
Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans believe it is likely last year’s presidential election was affected by cheating, a view shared by 30% of Democrats and 51% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

One has to assume that that 29% who believe black people cannot get IDs are the same folks that make up the bulk of those who believe Trump stole the 2016 election by conspiring with Vladimir Putin. In other words, they are partisan non-thinkers.

What is fascinating about all of this is that this poll comes as Democrats and "big business" are providing an all out media war attempting to actually convince people otherwise. Democrats say Jim Crow and somehow believe that everyone will agree with them? Obviously some people around here swallow it up. But then again, some of those will swallow anything given to them by the MSM or Democrats (a distinction almost without a difference anymore).

But no matter how hard they try... the American public is simply not as dumb as these Democrat believe that they are (or should be). But let's be clear. The fact that Americans don't agree with them is not going to stop the Democrats from the argument. They know that under fair rules, with fair counting,  and only legal ballots being considered, that they will lose.

This same fact will also will not stop the current wave of woke business leaders from making stupid stances and literally attacking their own customers in their massive fits of self righteous rants. For them, I have no idea of their motivation, other than the belief that they must continue to champion the liberal ideals of cancel culture and judgement of those who disagree.

Well there you go, big business. Go ahead and cancel 62% of Americans if you so choose. See how long your businesses survive.

Something else could change the outcome for decades.

The Republicans depend upon people who live outside of the major cities, because the suburbs have become Democratic since your hero was elected by a minority popular vote.

People who live in lower population densely populated areas, where it's difficult to get government ID cards. Especially for people who don't have addresses or driver licenses.

It only takes a small decrease of rural voters to change the outcomes.

I grew up in a town of 1200 people. Had a hunting license at 14, had a County-Issued ID card at the same age, and a DL at 16. For the DL the county seat was 20 miles from home. For everything else we had a town clerk who processed everything via USPS snail mail.

No one, not the young, not the elderly, not anyone was inconvenienced or prohibited from getting whatever official docs they required at the time. And access has only gone UP since then.

Joe Biden is lying to voters about the bogus Russia bounty story.

Here's the truth via NBC: "a review of the intelligence around each attack against Americans going back several years, none have been tied to any Russian incentive payments.”

So now that he talked to Putin did Joe do what he said he'd do ?

Or "What does Putin have on him" as Joe said earlier for not bringing bounties up ?

I thought the Chinese and Iranians owned Joe. Guess it's Putin too.

It's time to move forward without as much partisanship.

Would you agree that all this politicization of the court is not good for the country, what could we do about it?

The answer would be to reform the appointment process, and the best idea I’ve encountered may be this one, laid out by Alicia Bannon of the Brennan Center for Justice.

At the beginning of each presidential term the president would be allowed to nominate two new justices. If those seats were unfilled for whatever reason, the next president would not be able to fill them, at least partially mitigating the incentive for obstruction. The size of the court would fluctuate, but there would be little reason for strategic retirements and every nomination fight might not feel like the fate of the world was at stake.
There are variations of that plan, including one that would impose 18-year term limits on justices, two of which would then have to step down in every presidential term. To be clear, either of those reforms wouldn’t mean that any individual appointment would be totally insulated from politics. They would mean, however, that the appointment process as a whole could proceed on a regular schedule with a level playing field.

I find it difficult to formulate a persuasive objection to such a system — though Republicans will certainly try. Their real objection, however, is obvious: At the moment they have their supermajority, ill-gotten though it might be, so they’d like to keep everything as it is.

But the Supreme Court has changed many times in American history, and we can reform it if we choose. We just have to decide that the way things have gone recently is unacceptable. That’s something we ought to be able to agree on.

Biden’s Black Sea U-Turn: Russia closes Kerch Strait after Joe sent two Navy battleships but then called them off
Remember two weeks ago, when Insanity Wrap asked, “Who Had Russia and Ukraine Start WWIII on Their 2021 Bingo Card?”

We’re pretty sure that’s the center square on the Bingo card — you know, the spot everyone gets to fill for free.

Details:

Biden canceled the deployment of two U.S. warships from the Black Sea amid the troop build-up in Ukraine

Washington announced the U-turn after the Kremlin warned D.C. to stay away “for their own good”

Hours later, Putin took advantage of Biden’s U-turn by closing off the Kerch Strait

The move blocks any access to foreign warships to the Crimea until October 2021

With the taking of Crimea in 2014 on Obama’s watch, and Russia’s effective blockade of the Kerch Strait while Biden bumbled, Russia has annexed Ukraine’s biggest port and has now put several others out of business.

Putin just scored his first big win against a vacillating new administration. It reminds Insanity Wrap all-too-much of the time Kruschev did something similar against JFK in his first year in office, and then decided it would be simply fabulous to put nuclear missiles in Cuba.

We all know how that turned out.

Insanity Wrap will be under our desk, just like they taught us in grade school.

---
https://twitter.com/ggreenwald/status/1382734265255858178

Remember this as you watch cable stars claiming to be "journalists" yet again treat a U.S. intelligence agency assertion, completely unaccompanied by evidence, as Truth.

This, apparently, is what they mean by "Real Reporting™": blind faith in CIA pronouncements.
---
There's a new government report out today that makes a claim about Russiagate: the eternal crack pipe of the corporate media. The claim has no evidence: just a CIA/DHS assertion.

Just watch how many media figures on Twitter are now treating it as Gospel: not to be questioned.
---
Remember: this discredited RUSSIA BOUNTY story wasn't just treated as Gospel by the CNN/NBC/NYT axis.

It was a main argument used in July by pro-war House Dems & their key ally, Liz Cheney, to try to block Trump's withdrawal plan from Afghanistan:
---
Look for journalists today hyping the new CIA claims about Russiagate as Proven Fact -- they're all over the place already -- and ask them how they know it's true. Do they need evidence or do they just blindly believe the CIA? It will tell you a lot about how the press functions.

At some point, no one is asking this but everyone should be, what is this about? If vaccines work, why are vaccinated people still banned from living normal lives? Honestly, what's the answer to that, it doesn't make any sense at all. If the vaccine is effective there's no reason for people who've received a vaccine to wear masks or avoid physical contact. So maybe it doesn't work and they’re simply not telling you that. Well you'd hate to think that especially if you've gotten two shots but what's the other potential explanation? LOS ANGELES, CA—BLM co-founder and "trained Marxist" Patrisse Cullors has called for defunding the police in response to police shootings. She later clarified, however, that she only supports abolishing police in all the areas where she doesn't live.

"The police in my wealthy white area of LA can stay," she said. "And the ones around my home in Atlanta. Also, the ones who protect my other home in Albany. I think I have a fourth house too, but I can't remember where it is. Wherever it is, the police there can stick around as well."

According to sources, Cullors needs all these properties for her important work, and to hide from the urban hellscapes where police are being defunded.

"I need a lot of houses. All good Marxists have a lot of houses!" said Cullors.

Police have assured Cullors that they will remain at full strength in the wealthy, majority-white neighborhoods where she lives.

Bernie Sanders reportedly condemned Cullors after finding out she now has more houses than he does.

2. Vigilante justice is way more fun - At least, according to the movies, it is. Why call the police when you can form your own posse and hunt down the evildoers yourself?

3. With speed limits not enforced, you can finally test the limits of your 2013 Honda Odyssey - Always wanted to see what this puppy could do!

4. There would be much more liberation of TVs from Walmart - Think about it: there are thousands of TVs, tennis shoes, and top-shelf liquor being held in captivity all across the nation. It's time to liberate these high-priced goods from their shelves!

5. Unlimited loitering outside 7-Eleven - You can stand out there for hours and no one will bother you. Heaven on earth!

6. You can yell in the library now - Not only that, but you can check out unlimited books and never bring them back with complete impunity.

7. All problems in the black community will go away - Everything wrong in the inner city is the cops' fault. If the cops go, everything will be solved. It's just that simple!

In a raucous exchange, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) hammered Anthony S. Faucii, the nation’s top infectious-disease expert, on when Americans will see pandemic-related restrictions lifted.
“When do Americans get their freedom back?” Jordan asked.
Fauci began to respond that that will happen “when we get the level of infection in this country low enough.”
What is low enough? Give me a number,” Jordan interjected, later asking: “What measure, what standard, what objective outcome do we have to reach before Americans get t their liberty and freedoms back?”
“My message, Congressman Jordan, is to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as we possibly can to get the level of infection low that it is no longer a threat — that is when,” Fauci said.
He added: “You’re indicating liberty and freedom — I look at it as a public health measure to prevent people from dying and going to the hospital.”

A longtime associate of former President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign chief Paul Manafort gave Russian intelligence agencies "sensitive information on polling and campaign strategy" during the election that year, the U.S. Treasury Department said Thursday.

Manafort's associate, Konstantin Kilimnik, "also sought to promote the narrative that Ukraine, not Russia, had interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election," the Treasury Department said as the Biden administration announced new sanctions on Russia, Kilimnik and others because he didn't believe Vladimir Putin's words.

Those sanctions relate in part to Russia's alleged effort to affect the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

Kilimnik, a Russian and Ukrainian political consultant who worked for years with the longtime Republican political operative and consultant Manafort, previously has been identified as a known agent for Russian intelligence services.

Former special counsel Robert Mueller, who investigated Russian interference in the 2016 election, in 2018 accused Manafort of lying about sharing polling data with Kilimnik during the 2016 campaign, according to a prior court filing by Manafort's lawyer.

Trump in 2019 denied knowing anything about Manafort giving Kilimnik polling data.

A reminder that the seminal study of the CDC supporting mask use (if taken at face value) showed that counties which wore masks saw a ~1% decrease in the SPEED of the growth of COVID-19.

WTF? Mask up for a 1% reduction is the speed of growth?

Looks like that was all Biden had.

Except to try and take credit for the Trump vaccines.

Trumps biggest mistake over Covid was not firing Fauci/Birx as soon as it became apparent they were incompetent. Rivals his failure to fire Comey immediately.

And so it begins, Mr.Broke-it Biden seizing White own farms.
"The Biden Administration took control of a Texas rancher’s border land on Wednesday. The action followed a victory by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas against the family which has owned the land since 1760."

My daughter Chelsea Clinton calls on Facebook to ban Tucker Carlson

Chelsea Clinton is calling on Facebook to ban Fox News host Tucker Carlson from the platform following a surge in online engagement with a post that included the conservative television personality’s speculation on the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccines.

The former first daughter on Wednesday tweeted a screenshot of a Facebook post that included Carlson’s monologue from the night before, in which he said, “If the vaccine is effective, there is no reason for people who have received the vaccine to wear masks or avoid physical contact.”

“So maybe it doesn’t work and they’re simply not telling you that,” he added at the time.

According to data from the social media tool CrowdTangle, Carlson’s segment had become the most popular post on Facebook by Wednesday.

In response, Clinton tweeted, “In December, @facebook banned claims about #covid19 vaccines ‘that have been debunked by public health experts.’”

Clinton added that the attention to Carlson’s segment was “especially troubling given Republican men are currently most likely to say they’re not interested in being vaccinated.”

Carlson’s Tuesday remarks came in the context of news that day that the distribution of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine was being paused throughout the country because of concerns about a rare type of blood clot that has developed in six women who received the shot.

Carlson has described himself as pro-vaccine, but the comments were criticized by public health officials such as Anthony Fauci , who in an interview with CNN Wednesday said it was “just a typical crazy conspiracy theory.”

The Fox host pushed back on Fauci's criticism during a Wednesday night segment, saying, "We never for a minute doubted" that "vaccines work."

"We bought all of that stuff completely at face value. We believe in science," he continued. "Actually kind of trust the pharmaceutical companies a little bit too much, so when they said this stuff works, we never questioned it."

"We assumed they had detailed studies showing that it does work. We still think that," Carlson added. "The only reason we are asking the question is because the people in charge are acting like it doesn't work."

Myth #2: Tax cuts for big corporations and the rich spur economic growth.

Baloney. Not even Ronald Reagan’s surging economic growth rate was driven by tax cuts. It was driven by low interest rates and humongous government spending.

George W. Bush promised his 2001 and 2003 tax cuts would pay for themselves (sound familiar?) by spurring economic growth. That didn’t happen. A 2017 study led by one of Bush’s former chief economists found that the tax cuts had no significant effect on growth. In fact, growth declined, slowing to just 2.8 percent from over 3 percent during the Clinton years. The economic expansion under Bush was one of the weakest expansions since World War II.

Donald Trump claimed his tax cut would be like “rocket fuel” for the economy, and would spur annual growth of 3 percent. After its first year, growth slowed to 1.9  percent.

Finally, a recent study analyzing tax data spanning 50 years from 18 advanced economies found that tax cuts for the rich only benefited the rich and had no effect on job creation or economic growth. I, for one, am shocked.

Myth #3: Deregulation spurs economic growth.

More rubbish. The cost savings from deregulation go to corporate executives and major investors, while the costs and risks land on the rest of us.

Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency rolled back regulations on everything from clean air and water standards to dangerous chemicals in products — benefiting chemical and fossil fuel executives and investors while forcing everyone else to deal with polluted air and toxins.

His Labor Department loosened child labor laws and scaled back the number of workers eligible for overtime pay. Companies raked in savings, while workers were exploited.

And with the help of Congress, he rolled back banking regulations put in place after the 2008 financial crisis — to the benefit of rich Wall Streeters and the detriment of everyone else.

Don’t forget Ronald Reagan’s deregulatory agenda allowed for-profit healthcare companies to flourish, contributing to the out-of-control health care costs we’re saddled with today. And that deregulation of the financial sector was a major cause of the 2008 crash, as it allowed banks to make risky bets.

In other words, the Republican trickle-down claim that deregulation helps us all is baloney. Regulations that protect you and me from being harmed, fleeced, shafted, injured, or sickened by corporate products and services are clearly worth the cost.

So don’t fall for trickle-down nonsense. Making big corporations and the rich even richer through tax cuts and regulatory rollbacks doesn’t make the rest of us better off. It just makes big corporations and the rich even richer.

Myth #4: That Democrats care about black lives, or any minorities, or low income people or fairness or election integrity.

Democrats only care about power. They will lie, steal, or anything else necessary to get it and keep it.

Full stop.

Facebook is blocking links to a New York Post story that exposes Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ controversial recent home buying spree, preventing users from sharing the link publicly or via private message.

The Post article from April 10 is headlined ‘Inside BLM co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ million-dollar real estate buying binge’ and reveals how Khan-Cullors, a self-described Marxist, recently purchased four high-end homes for a total of $3.2 million.

As we previously highlighted, one of the homes, a $1.4 million dollar property, is located in Topanga Canyon, California, where the black population is just 1.6 per cent.

Another of the homes, a “custom ranch” located in Georgia, is surrounded by “3.2 rural acres” and features a “private airplane hangar with a studio apartment above it” in addition to an indoor swimming pool.

After one BLM activist called for an investigation into how finances were being used, other prominent figures within BLM threatened legal action against him.

Now Facebook is completely blocking users from posting a link to the original NY Post story in yet another brazen act of partisan censorship.

When attempting to post the link, the user is met with the message, “Your post couldn’t be shared, because this link goes against our Community Standards.”
