Obviously this one is headed for a USSC showdown. To some degree, this will put many of the conservative Justices to task on whether or not they actually believe in the stare decisis of Roe v Wade. Most (when specifically asked) deferred to Roe v Wade as settled legal precedent.
Banning abortions after six weeks (when some women would not even realize they are pregnant) would quite obviously be defined as an excessive Government restriction. That is not even at question. Excessive Government restriction was what Roe v Wade provided protection from. Generally the idea is that any laws that prevented a first trimester abortion would fall into that category. Other laws might also be considered excessive.
This one is a no-brainer.
So we will see whether or not Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Coney Barrett follow what they suggested during their confirmation hearings or whether or not they go rogue. I suspect that this law will be overturned. At least it should be if you believe in stare decisis and the word of the justices sitting on the court. If the USSC allows this law to stand, I would see a much better chance that court packing might come to pass.

A chap named Brian Mast, a Republican member of the House from Florida, sponsored the measure. “Under my bill, the United States will sanction these groups that are supporting terrorism,” Mr. Mast said in a floor speech. “Or if we do not pass this bill, we will not stand together to sanction these groups that are enabling this terrorism.”
Democrats then blocked the bill, and on party lines, by a vote of 217 to 209. Tragic. Tragic that the Democratic majority is moving against Israel and in favor of Iranian-backed terrorists. Tragic that there isn’t total bipartisan support for backing Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East. And certainly America’s greatest ally in that region.
And maybe our best friend in the world. Yet you’ve got Democrats, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, who publicly denounced Israel as promoting racism under an apartheid system.
