Re the Photo: I think it's just terrible how those Carters insisted on risking the health of the President and his wife by not wearing and not wanting them to wear masks.
Let's see who FaceBook stacked its "oversight board" with:
One member of the board, Pamela Karlan, a law professor at Stanford, testified during Trump's first impeachment trial in the House in December 2019, arguing he should be impeached for "high crimes and misdemeanors" and in the process mocking Trump's then-14-year-old son, Barron.
Facebook Ban BADLY Hurts Trump With Messaging and Money
============GOOD!!!!
“The decision by Facebook to keep former President Donald Trump off its platform could have significant consequences for his political operation as he tries to remain the leader of the Republican Party, thwarting his ability to amplify his message to tens of millions of followers and hampering his fund-raising ability,” the New York Times reports.
WONDERFUL! WE'RE SICK AND TIRED OF HIS BLOVIATING BLATHER!
“Facebook has increasingly become one of the most vital weapons in a political campaign’s arsenal, with its ability to juice small-dollar online-fund-raising numbers into the millions, expand and acquire contact information, help build out data on a campaign’s voter file and provide the most sophisticated advertising platform available.
“Few campaigns had tapped into Facebook’s potential for advertising and fund-raising as aggressively as Mr. Trump’s.”
AND HE AIN'T GOT THAT NO MORE!
BUT MEANWHILE Liz Cheney’s Big Donors Stand With Her
CNBC reports: “Liz Cheney’s top financial supporters are standing by her despite a move by House Republicans to remove her as conference chair.
“Some even say they will withhold contributions to anyone who opposes Cheney. That signals a split in the wealthy Republican donor ranks between big-money financiers who continue to back former President Donald Trump and those more aligned with Cheney’s views that Joe Biden won the 2020 election fair and square.” ________
McConnell Rebounds [some] with Republican Voters
A new Morning Consult poll finds 42% of Republican voters hold favorable views about Sen. Mitch McConnell, up 12 points since a post-election low reached in late February. Meanwhile, the share of GOP voters with unfavorable views about McConnell fell 14 points, to 36%.
The improvement brings McConnell’s favorability rating roughly in line with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. _____

Confirming that we all knew AG Barr was a fat fucking liar and fraud.......now this!!!!!! Once again.....you slurpers will defend both fat fucks til you die!!!!!!! BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson of Washington ordered the release Monday of a 2019 memo prepared by the department’s Office of Legal Counsel. Barr and a string of Justice Department officials had sought to keep the memo secret, asserting it was part of the department’s internal decision-making process before he selectively announced the Mueller report’s findings that March. Jackson wrote in a blistering opinion after viewing the memo and other evidence that the department’s claims “are so inconsistent with evidence in the record, they are not worthy of credence.”
How Barr appeared to misrepresent Mueller's findings Attorney General William P. Barr repeatedly appeared to misrepresent or misstate special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s findings on May 1. (JM Rieger/The Washington Post) In a 35-page opinion ordering the memo’s release in a public records lawsuit, Jackson called suspicions that Barr and department lawyers had been “disingenuous” in withholding the document “well-founded,” saying the department had sought
Both judges blasted Barr’s four-page letter to Congress in March 2019 that said the special counsel did not draw a conclusion such a charge. In reality, Mueller’s report laid out evidence of obstruction but said the special counsel could not fairly make a charging decision, given department policy that a sitting president cannot be indicted. Writing in March 2020, U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton called Barr’s public statements “misleading” and said he had “grave concerns about the objectivity of the process” that led up to the public release of the Mueller report.

Some Republicans say that being loyal to Trump could cost the house majority in the next election. The Wall Street Journal is not a RINO OR TINO.
Top Republicans called for Rep. Liz Cheney to be removed from House GOP leadership, after months of tension over her continued criticisms of former President Donald Trump and his refusal to accept the results of the November election.
The developments underscore Mr. Trump’s continued sway in the GOP before midterm elections in which the party hopes to win back the House and Senate. Ms. Cheney’s ouster would mark a major setback for a small but vocal wing of the party that has condemned Mr. Trump’s behavior after the election and during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and said he should play no role in the party’s future.
House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R., La.) and Mr. Trump formally endorsed Rep. Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.), a prominent defender of Mr. Trump during his first impeachment trial, for the GOP conference chair on Wednesday, exposing the high level of resentment between Ms. Cheney and other House GOP leaders. A day earlier, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R., Calif.) said lawmakers were concerned about her ability to carry out the job and was overheard on a hot mic saying he had “had it with her.”
House Republicans, charging that she is undercutting party unity, are preparing for a vote to oust Ms. Cheney from the top GOP ranks in a process expected to start next Wednesday. Ms. Cheney, once an ally of Mr. McCarthy, is widely seen as unlikely to survive that challenge.
“She ended up becoming conference chair ultimately because Kevin supported her and I think she’ll be removed from conference chair because Kevin no longer supports her,” said Rep. Warren Davidson (R., Ohio).
Ms. Cheney had survived an earlier effort in February to oust her from her post, after she was one of 10 Republicans to back impeaching Mr. Trump over allegations he incited the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol by his supporters. Mr. Trump was acquitted in the Senate. Lawmakers who had hoped that February vote would put the tensions in the past said they were frustrated to see Ms. Cheney continued to make comments that put her at odds with other Republican leaders, eclipsing GOP efforts to aim their criticism at the Biden administration.
“House Republicans need to be solely focused on taking back the House in 2022” and fighting the Democrats’ agenda, said a spokeswoman for Mr. Scalise in explaining his endorsement of Ms. Stefanik.!!!!!!!!
Ms. Cheney’s next steps were unknown.
“Liz will have more to say in the coming days. This moment is about much more than a House leadership fight,” Jeremy Adler, a spokesman for Ms. Cheney said Wednesday morning.
Ms. Cheney has made clear in her own discussions that she remains intent on speaking the truth and that she doesn’t view staying in leadership as worth it if it means lying about the election or the events of Jan. 6, according to a person familiar with the talks.
Ms. Cheney’s fate is expected to be sealed at a closed-doors meeting next Wednesday, when House GOP lawmakers return to Washington. Republicans are preparing for another vote to oust her from the top GOP ranks and this time, lawmakers said, she is widely expected not to survive. The front-runner to replace her is Ms. Stefanik, according to lawmakers making calls on her
Major political news, from campaigns to the Capitol.
Mr. Trump also endorsed Ms. Stefanik in a statement, calling her a “far superior choice” to Ms. Cheney, whom he said “has no business” in party leadership.
GOP lawmakers said they hoped replacing Ms. Cheney would end the public feuding among their leaders. But in the longer term, some Republicans still question where the party will end up if it is more willing to punish Mr. Trump’s critics than push back on his false statements and demands for loyalty.
“To only have people in the party who are willing to accept the falsehoods that the former president continues to put out, that’s not any way to grow the party,” said former Sen. Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.), a prominent critic of Mr. Trump. “Any party has to have at least some kind of moral underpinning and when the central organizing tenet seems to be the willingness to believe and perpetuate falsehood, that’s not what serious political parties do.”
Mr. Trump’s power is palpable, as many GOP voters and lawmakers remain loyal to Mr. Trump and have voiced skepticism about whether President Biden won the election. Because they were gaslighted by Trump supporters.
And the reason the Bidens look so large compared to the Carters is 1) It's a small room 2) The Bidens are much nearer the camera 3) The photographer is using a wide angle lens.
Opinion: Liz Cheney: The GOP is at a turning point. History is watching us.

Opinion by Liz Cheney
May 5, 2021
In public statements again this week, former president Donald Trump has repeated his claims that the 2020 election was a fraud and was stolen. His message: I am still the rightful president, and President Biden is illegitimate. Trump repeats these words now with full knowledge that exactly this type of language provoked violence on Jan. 6. And, as the Justice Department and multiple federal judges have suggested, there is good reason to believe that Trump’s language can provoke violence again. Trump is seeking to unravel critical elements of our constitutional structure that make democracy work — confidence in the result of elections and the rule of law. No other American president has ever done this.
Support our journalism. Subscribe today.
The Republican Party is at a turning point, and Republicans must decide whether we are going to choose truth and fidelity to the Constitution. In the immediate wake of the violence of Jan. 6, almost all of us knew the gravity and the cause of what had just happened — we had witnessed it firsthand.
House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) left no doubt in his public remarks. On the floor of the House on Jan. 13, McCarthy said: “The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters. He should have immediately denounced the mob when he saw what was unfolding.” Now, McCarthy has changed his story.
I am a conservative Republican, and the most conservative of conservative values is reverence for the rule of law. Each of us swears an oath before God to uphold our Constitution. The electoral college has spoken. More than 60 state and federal courts, including multiple Trump-appointed judges, have rejected the former president’s arguments, and refused to overturn election results. That is the rule of law; that is our constitutional system for resolving claims of election fraud.
The question before us now is whether we will join Trump’s crusade to delegitimize and undo the legal outcome of the 2020 election, with all the consequences that might have. I have worked overseas in nations where changes in leadership come only with violence, where democracy takes hold only until the next violent upheaval. America is exceptional because our constitutional system guards against that. At the heart of our republic is a commitment to the peaceful transfer of power among political rivals in accordance with law. President Ronald Reagan described this as our American “miracle.”
While embracing or ignoring Trump’s statements might seem attractive to some for fundraising and political purposes, that approach will do profound long-term damage to our party and our country. neither Scott or Trump has never expressed remorse or regret for the attack of Jan. 6 and now suggests that our elections, and our legal and constitutional system, cannot be trusted to do the will of the people. This is immensely harmful, especially as we now compete on the world stage against Communist China and its claims that democracy is a failed system.
For Republicans, the path forward is clear.
First, support the ongoing Justice Department criminal investigations of the Jan. 6 attack. Those investigations must be comprehensive and objective; neither the White House nor any member of Congress should object.
Second, we must support a parallel bipartisan review by a commission with subpoena power to seek and find facts; it will describe for all Americans what happened. This is critical to defeat the misinformation and nonsense circulating in the press and on social media. No currently serving member of Congress — with an eye to the upcoming election cycle — should participate. We should appoint former officials, members of the judiciary and other prominent Americans who can be objective, just as we did after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. The commission should be focused on the Jan. 6 attacks. The Black Lives Matter and antifa violence of last summer was illegal and reprehensible, but it is a different problem with a different solution.
Finally, we Republicans need to stand for genuinely conservative principles, and steer away from the dangerous and anti-democratic Trump cult of personality. In our hearts, we are devoted to the American miracle. We believe in the rule of law, in limited government, in a strong national defense, and in prosperity and opportunity brought by low taxes and fiscally conservative policies.
There is much at stake now, including the ridiculous wokeness of our political rivals, the irrational policies at the border and runaway spending that threatens a return to the catastrophic inflation of the 1970s. Reagan formed a broad coalition from across the political spectrum to return America to sanity, and we need to do the same now. We know how. But this will not happen if Republicans choose to abandon the rule of law and join Trump’s crusade to undermine the foundation of our democracy and reverse the legal outcome of the last election.
History is watching. Our children are watching. We must be brave enough to defend the basic principles that underpin and protect our freedom and our democratic process. I am committed to doing that, no matter what the short-term political consequences might be.
Because she said the January 6th attacks were dangerous, Scott will never recover from Trumpism.

You don't really stand a chance of getting people to listen to you if you're posting your commentary in liberal fish wrap, and those coming to your defense are clowns like FORMER Sen. Jeff Flake.
Rank and file establishment GOP is the fucking PROBLEM.
The people seek an alternative to democrats and their asinine liberalism.
NOT democrats LITE.
When I see democrats like Manchin and Sinema looking out for me more than my former party, that should tell you something that only the "alky" stupid are too fucking stupid to understand.
CNN is wall to wall public relations & rapid response for their favorite warmonger, Liz Cheney...Which tells you everything you need to know about her.
Comical that a bunch of media Dems think they have any influence over who Republicans want representing them in leadership!!!
Newly registered independent as of right after January 6th.
The GOP is DEAD to me.
Let Liz or Ben Sasse lick the sweat off Schumer's balls.
Alky, you need to understand something here. The hard left progressives have declared war on people like me. They want us eliminated. And they're being aided and abetted by democrats in DC. The number of politicians on the right who have my back I can count on both hands. The number of GOP WHORES who have sworn fealty to Biden*, Peloshee and Schumer are fucking LEGION.
Trump voters are now being hunted down by our FBI as domestic terrorists. The Jan. 6th panty raid has been blown completely out of proportion to justify it. Ashli Babbitt's death was ruled a HOMICIDE, yet we still don't know the identity of her murderer.
The GOP can go fuck themselves and keep fucking themselves until they fuck themselves to DEATH.
Enjoy yourself between now and 2022. And then, if your sorry ass is till on this side of the sod, watch the fuck out in 2024.
As Romney and McCaine find out, having our news media as a constituency doesn't help them in Republican politics and they are sure to turn on you.
The amount of fake praise the MSM lavished on Pappy McStain in 2008 was sickening. And Pappy of course, being the last in his class asswipe academy graduate that he was, lapped it up like a fucking imbecile.
THOSE are the kinds of republicans the alky wants to see fills the halls of congress. And I can see why. Filling the place with Romney's, McStain's, Cheney's and Bushes guarantees the lets' agenda passes with ZERO opposition.
The Tea Party thought their voices were heard. And they backed traitorous scumbags like Flake. Scumbags who promptly fucked them.

Scott Johnson Powerline plagiarism scandal

What on Earth is going on here? The Carters look tiny, while Joe Biden, himself elderly and frail, looks like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Some speculate that it is an artifact of the camera lens, but I don’t see how that can account for it. Also, note the absence of masks. Biden wears one to participate by himself in a zoom call or when he is walking outdoors. Maybe this is the photo-op exception to the mask rule.
Contrast the way Biden looks in that photo with his more usual feeble appearance and halting manner, as manifested pretty much every time he speaks in public. As with this video, also getting play on social media:
These are pretty grim days, but one source of entertainment is observing the liberal press studiously pretending not to notice the utter bizarreness of the “Biden administration.” Our president looks, as Scott says, like an escapee from Madame Tussaud’s, and he sounds even worse. But America’s intrepid reporters are determined to pretend that all is well. For them, it will be a long year, or two years, or however long Biden is able to remain vertical.
But while there are substantive discussions to be had about issues at the root of “cancel culture,” the phenomenon’s true tragedy lies in its application by the political right. The way that the Republican Party has weaponized “cancel culture” looks to distract from the truly important issues facing our country today. As Megan Garber explains in The Atlantic, “Cancel culture … can be a means of misdirection: The idea might once have been nuanced but now often amounts to an excuse for strategic unseeing. Summoned cynically, it permits the consequence for harm done to take precedence over the harm itself. It defends the status quo.” In addition, the current use of the term “cancel culture” seeks not only to distract but to obscure. The word itself, “culture,” conflates systemic harms, such as racism, with individual harms, such as the consequences of accusations of racism, even those proved false, and its use results in the trivialization of deeply rooted injustices in our society. This, of course, is exactly why “cancel culture” has been deployed in that reductive way by pundits and politicians who have no interest in policy or the act of governing, much less in fixing structural societal problems (including those genuinely concerning free speech), and have every interest in “owning the libs.” Indeed, this is what Congressman McCarthy did on March 5: He weaponized “Green Eggs and Ham” to distract from the passage of the historic COVID relief bill on a strictly partisan basis. Why would he want people to understand that his entire caucus voted against a bill that had over 70 percent of Americans strongly or somewhat supporting it? Better to focus on “cancel culture” and lie to his followers that the libs were out to cancel their beloved Dr. Seuss classic.
If the act of “cancelling” is reductive and unhelpful, then the way that “cancel culture” has been adopted by the Republican Party is flat-out disingenuous and unbelievably harmful. To be clear, there are real discussions to be had over the line between hate speech and free speech, liberal and conservative cultural “bubbles” and what can and should be done to truly and productively hold people accountable for their actions. But the right has adopted “cancel culture” as a tenet of its political platform (in place of any policy positions whatsoever) and has used “canceling” as a defense for every one of its misdeeds in the most ridiculous of ways. This was demonstrated when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott blamed the state’s blackout energy crisis on the Green New Deal “canceling” oil and natural gas and replacing them with “less reliable” sources of energy, like wind power — a widely panned statement filled with lies and inaccuracies. The right has not only obscured and deflected from other systemic American problems, but it has poisoned the well of possibility of nuanced and substantive discussion about the real issues at the core of “cancel culture.”

The argument would be that Democrats would eliminate police departments and allow crime to surge if they have more power, so they must be stopped at all costs. Polls suggest a huge bloc of GOP voters is already open to such apocalyptic rhetoric.
“The term woke has rapidly come to encompass everything and anything conservatives don’t like – anything and anyone they want to discredit,” said Zimmer.
For example, here’s the text from a recent fundraising email from Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene QAnon troll of Georgia:
When I see the bills we’re voting on, I don’t understand why more “Conservative” Republicans do NOT join me:
– Cancelling Religious Freedom through the so-called “Equality” Act. – Cancelling Election Security in HR1, – Cancelling Gender, – Cancelling our Sovereignty, – Cancelling our 2nd Amendment Rights, and – Defunding the Police.”
Most of what I described above is basically how this focus on the woke and cancel culture helps unify GOP elites with one another and to the party’s core voters. Like the truthers

“Biden defended with gusto his plans to increase taxes on high earners and the wealthy. He railed against high-earning chief executives and promised that his plans were ‘about making the average multimillionaire pay just a fair share.’”
Said Biden: “We’re not going to deprive any of these executives of their second or third home, travel privately by jet. It’s not going to affect their standard of living at all. Not a little tiny bit. But I can affect the standard of living that people I grew up with.” ________
Even a lot of Republicans are approving of this, according to the article.

And now, your daily dose of BLACK on Asian assault:
A man was arrested after two Asian women, ages 66 and 67, were repeatedly attacked with a cinder block at a Maryland liquor store early Tuesday, police said.
Daryl Doles, 50, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, police said. Authorities did not specify whether the incident was being treated as a hate crime.
The attack unfolded shortly after midnight at a liquor store in the 2000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore, police said. The women, who are store employees, were closing up shop when a man broke into the store, authorities said.
Surveillance video shows a man forcing his way into the store and wrestling with one of the women as she tries to close the door. The video captures another unidentified man inside the store who appears to watch, step aside and walk out the door shortly after the woman is pulled to the ground.
The first man, who authorities alleged was Doles, can be seen in the video repeatedly striking the woman in the head with a cinder block, according to authorities, as he holds her down with his body. Another woman from inside the store appears to help the woman on the floor before being overwhelmed by the man.
Video shows the man then hitting the women multiple times in the head with the cinder block before the brutal attack is taken outside the store. He took off from the store but was later arrested, authorities said.
Once again the do nothing GOP wants credit for something EVERY ONE OF THEM voted against!!!!!! Revising history and lying the cornerstone of the FRAUDS who support trump.....What a joke you have all become!!!!!
STEVE PEOPLES Thu, May 6, 2021, 12:05 AM NEW YORK (AP) — Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., said it pained her to vote against the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan.
But in the weeks that followed, the first-term Republican issued a news release celebrating more than $3.7 million from the package that went to community health centers in her district as one of her “achievements.” She said she prided herself on “bringing federal funding to the district and back into the pockets of taxpayers.”
Malliotakis is far from alone.
Every Republican in Congress voted against the sweeping pandemic relief bill that President Joe Biden signed into law three months ago. But since the early spring votes, Republicans from New York and Indiana to Texas and Washington state have promoted elements of the legislation they fought to defeat.-
The Republicans' favorite provisions represent a tiny sliver of the massive law, which sent $1,400 checks to millions of Americans, extended unemployment benefits until September, increased the child tax credit, offered housing assistance for millions of low-income Americans and expanded health care coverage. Republicans tried to negotiate a smaller package, arguing that Biden's plan was too expensive and not focused enough on the nation’s health and economic crises.

Left-Wing Media Watchdog Defends Jennifer Granholm’s Wealth After Helping Her Become a Millionaire
Media Matters paid Biden's energy secretary $200K in consulting fees
Media Matters for America, a left-wing media watchdog, rushed to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm's defense after the Washington Free Beacon used journalism to expose her financial interest in an electric vehicle company touted by President Joe Biden.
Granholm came under fire earlier this year for raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars from left-wing interest groups before joining the Biden administration. For example, she earned more than $200,000 as an adviser to Media Matters and was paid six-figure sums by the progressive foundation American Bridge and the left-wing media company CNN, where she was a political contributor.
Granholm earned another $170,000 on the public speaking circuit and an additional $114,000 from the University of California Berkeley, where she served as an adjunct professor. On top of that, she reported $1 million in "business income" from Granholm Mulhern Associates, the consulting firm she co-owned with her husband, Dan Mulhern.
Granholm's controversial financial assets, which include between $1 and 5 million of stock in Proterra, the electric vehicle company Biden promoted in April as part of his push for a $2 trillion infrastructure package, have been the subject of multiple stories in the Free Beacon in recent weeks.
Media Matters defended its former adviser's wealth in a piece accusing "right-wing media" of inventing a "fake scandal" about Granholm's ties to Proterra—without specifically refuting any of the points raised in the Free Beacon‘s coverage of the scandal.
In its attempt to defend Granholm, Media Matters conceded that she has yet to offload her seven figures of stock in Proterra. "The [White House] official also said that Granholm was ‘in the process of selling off all stock in the company,' which would be completed ‘within the 180-day window permitted by the ethics agreement,'" Eric Kleefeld wrote in the liberal outlet. https://freebeacon.com/politics/jennifer-granholm-media-matters/

Black man enslaved by white restaurant owner entitled to $546K, court rules The Today Show MINYVONNE BURKE
A Black man with intellectual disabilities should be awarded more than $500,000 after he was enslaved for five years at a South Carolina restaurant, a court ruled.
Bobby Paul Edwards, who is white, pleaded guilty in June 2018 to one count of forced labor for using "violence and other coercive means" to make John Christopher Smith work at his restaurant for more than 100 hours a week without pay.
As part of his guilty plea, Edwards was sentenced to 10 years in prison and was ordered to pay Smith $272,952.96 in restitution. However, a court ruled last month that the amount should be doubled and Smith should receive more than $545,000.

Facebook Ban BADLY Hurts Trump With Messaging and Money
============GOOD!!!!
“Facebook has increasingly become one of the most vital weapons in a political campaign’s arsenal, with its ability to
juice small-dollar online-fund-raising numbers into the millions,
expand and acquire contact information,
help build out data on a campaign’s voter file
and provide the most sophisticated advertising platform available.
“Few campaigns had tapped into Facebook’s potential for advertising and fund-raising as aggressively as Mr. Trump’s.”
AND HE AIN'T GOT THAT NO MORE!

Liz Cheney’s Big Donors Stand With Her
CNBC reports:
“Liz Cheney’s top financial supporters are standing by her despite a move by House Republicans to remove her as conference chair.
“Some even say they will withhold contributions to anyone who opposes Cheney. That signals a split in the wealthy Republican donor ranks between big-money financiers who continue to back former President Donald Trump
and those more aligned with Cheney’s views that Joe Biden won the 2020 election fair and square.”

Re 3:22
I really did see where some Republican critic was trying to blame the Bidens for endangering the lives of the elderly Carters by not wearing masks.
So I put that in as a joke.
But of course, Kansas Dimwit tries to take it an run with it and make a great big deal out of it.
I'm glad they're all vaccinated. I assumed they were, actually.
And the reason the Bidens look so large compared to the Carters is
1) It's a small room
2) The Bidens are much nearer the camera
3) The photographer is using a wide angle lens.
But look at Jimmy's feet, which are also nearer the camera.

I have been saying the same thing.

ROFLMFAO !!!

Biden Leans Into Plans to Tax the Rich
NEW YORK TIMES:
“President Biden delivered a clear and punchy message to America’s highest earners on Wednesday: I’m going to raise your taxes, but your vacation homes are safe,” the New York Times reports.
“Biden defended with gusto his plans to increase taxes on high earners and the wealthy. He railed against high-earning chief executives and promised that his plans were ‘about making the average multimillionaire pay just a fair share.’”
Said Biden:
“We’re not going to deprive any of these executives of their second or third home, travel privately by jet. It’s not going to affect their standard of living at all. Not a little tiny bit. But I can affect the standard of living that people I grew up with.”

The article is linked at politicalwire.com and I was surprised to be allowed to read the entire article (the NYT doesn't always allow that).
Most amusing that I asked the enthralled R's here yesterday what was the GOP's current agenda....I was not surprised that not a single slurper responded!!!!!! Low and behold, Moscow Mitch came clean.....!!!!! The GOP's whole being is to fuck Biden and everything he does!!!!! Sure sounds like Mitch's promise to make Obama a 1 termer!!!!!!! You slurpers have given up and decided democracy is not what it is supposed to be and would rather give the reins to King Trump and his assholes!!!!!!!! Keep slurping losers, you drink his manhood well!!!!!!!

NEW YORK (AP) — Rep.

Black man enslaved by white restaurant owner entitled to $546K, court rules
The Today Show
MINYVONNE BURKE
