Talk radio listeners better informed than CNN viewers?

Liberal Media Viewers Are Misinformed About Crime in America
Fewer than 50 unarmed black suspects were killed by police last year and more people were killed with knives than with so-called “assault weapons,” but viewers of MSNBC and CNN are far more likely than Fox News viewers to get those facts wrong.
A new Heartland Institute and Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters who say MSNBC or CNN is their favorite cable news outlet believe more than 100 unarmed African Americans were fatally shot by police in 2020. By contrast, only 22% of Fox News viewers believe police shot more than 100 unarmed black people last year.
Nearly a quarter of CNN viewers (24%) and almost one-in-five MSNBC viewers (19%) think cops fatally shot more than 500 unarmed black suspects last year, but only nine percent (9%) of Fox News viewers think so. Fox News viewers (60%) were about three times more likely than viewers of MSNBC (19%) or CNN (23%) to correctly estimate the number of unarmed black people shot and killed by police in 2020 as less than 50. Sixty percent (60%) of talk radio listeners also estimated the number correctly.

There were some more instances CNN and MSNBC watchers vastly overestimate the amount of people killed by rifles as well, while FOX news watchers are more likely to underestimate it (the number is around 500 a year). Meanwhile, you can even narrow this further

President Joe Biden’s strongest supporters were most likely to overestimate the number of unarmed black suspects killed by police. Among voters who Strongly Approve of Biden’s job performance as president, only 19% correctly estimate the number of unarmed black people shot and killed by police in 2020 as less than 50, and 20% believe police fatally shot more than 500 unarmed black people last year. By contrast, among voters who Strongly Disapprove of Biden’s performance, 72% correctly estimate the number of police shootings of unarmed black people, and only five percent (5%) think cops fatally shot more than 500 unarmed black people in 2020.

So bottom line is that Biden supporters and liberal news outlet watchers are just as likely to overestimate the number of unarmed black people killed by police by 10 times as they are to get the number correct. That is a damning statistic, folks.

The reasons are fairly obvious. When you are seeing close to 50 murders a day and CNN and MSNBC only bothers to show you those that are committed by White people and rifles, while completely ignoring the other 98% of killings, then those watchers will tend to overestimate rifle deaths. When every black suspect shot by a cop makes national cable news, you believe that it must be a much more common occurrence.

What this proves is two things.

  • Cable news channels have an agenda to push propaganda.
  • Cable news is successful in fooling their viewers
Of course, that shouldn't surprise anyone.

Something you won't see reported on the FAKE NEWS propaganda networks:

Election audit in small New Hampshire town could have implications for 2020 results statewide

In tiny Windham, a November hand recount in a state legislative race revealed vote count discrepancies up and down the ballot — all benefiting Democrats.

In mid-April, New Hampshire Republican Gov. Chris Sununu signed a bill authorizing a forensic audit of the District 7 race in Windham. The bill was unanimously passed by the state Senate, denoting the bipartisan desire of the elected body to get to the bottom of Windham's election discrepancies.

The audit team is comprised of Philip Stark, a professor of statistics at the University of California, Berkeley, Mark Lindeman, an acting director of Verified Voting, and Harri Hursti, a computer programmer. They are overseeing a multistep process, initiated with the bags and boxes of ballots being delivered to the audit location on Tuesday.

The audit begins with a physical count of the ballots that includes tagging each ballot with a unique marking in order to confirm an exact figure. The ballots will all be imaged to ensure that backup copies exist, then they will be run through the AccuVote machines used in Windham in November. The next step is an audit of the machines themselves, which will entail imaging all of the data and memory of each machine card and scanner. The programming of all four machines will be inspected to make sure they are all the same. And finally, the characteristics of the physical ballots will be inspected, including ink used and the state of the ballot envelopes.

Following the Nov. 3, 2020 election, vote tallies recorded by three of the machines show results that closely approximate each other across all races, including the presidential. But on the remaining machine, the percentages received by the Republican candidates are closer to the percentages received by Democrats on all other machines (and vice versa). The numbers appear to be flipped.

Commander-in-Thief Biden said...

In the presidential race, for example, on machines 1, 3 and 4 the results for the major party candidates were as follows:

machine 1: Trump 57.4%, Biden 40.3%
machine 3: Trump 56.9%, Biden 40.8%
machine 4: Trump 57%, Biden 40.3%
But on machine 2, the result was Biden 55.6%, Trump 42.2%.

Machine 2 also appears to have recorded a significantly higher "Overvoted" percentage than the other machines. The hand recount in November did not account for the machine patterns outlined above, but the hope is that the forensic audit will.

(In the gubernatorial race, the Democrat and Republican numbers did not flip, although even there the Democrat and Republican totals rose and fell, respectively, by more than percentage points.)

Prior to beginning the forensic audit on Tuesday, Mark Lindeman said that the "fact pattern" he and his team have been brought on board to assess "seems unusual, if not unprecedented."

The four machines being audited are AccuVote optical scanning systems, which were manufactured by Global Elections Systems Inc., which was ultimately acquired in 2010 by Dominion Voting systems. Dominion owns the intellectual property of the AccuVote machines and its related election management system, but did not manufacture the machines being used in New Hampshire.

AccuVote machines are the only legal ballot-counting technology in New Hampshire and were used in all towns and cities in the state, except those that opted to hand count ballots on election night. Any problems found in these voting machines could thus have implications for the 2020 election results statewide, including the presidential contest, in which Biden defeated Trump by 52.9%-45.5% in the official tally.
The audit team has until May 27 to complete the project.

If the left truly felt that the facts were on their side and the election results are accurate and legit, they would welcome an audit of every single ballot in the nation.

Sunlight has always been the best disinfectant, and those who tell the truth have nothing to fear from an audit.

Here's an example of a balanced consideration of the enormous problem of Israeli=Palestinian predicament.
It is NOT FAKE NEWS.

Democrats embrace a tougher tack toward Israel as violence flares
Yahoo News:
Andrew Desiderio
Sat, May 15, 2021, 1:01 AM·6 min read

Democrats are heading for a major reckoning over the U.S. relationship with Israel, amid a spiraling escalation of violence in recent days that has put pressure on President Joe Biden to get tougher on the Israeli government.

The prospect of forced evictions of Palestinians in east Jerusalem and a sustained rocket campaign against Israel this week have laid bare the increasingly thorny political dynamic facing congressional Democrats, more of whom are beginning to question the lockstep bipartisan support for Israel that has existed across Washington. While not abandoning America’s historically strong ties to Israel, Democrats aren’t flinching this week in their calls for a tougher posture against aggression toward Palestinians.

“There is a very strong emerging ground in the Democratic Party that wants to see an American policy that is balanced — that recognizes both Israel’s security needs and rights when it comes to defending itself from rockets and terror, but also recognizes that will never end unless Palestinians get their rights and their freedoms,” said Jeremy Ben-Ami, president of J Street, an advocacy group founded as a progressive pro-Israel voice on U.S. policy.

“We think that this is becoming the center of the Democratic Party,” Ben-Ami added.

Over the past week, the Palestinian militant group Hamas has launched a new round of rocket attacks targeting civilian areas in Israel, prompting lawmakers from both parties to forcefully condemn the aggression and assert Israel’s right to defend itself from an enemy that believes it should not exist. Democrats are dinging the Israeli government for what they see as a counterproductive crackdown on Palestinians within its own borders — but they're also urging Biden to speak up.

“If the Biden administration puts the rule of law and human rights at the heart of its foreign policy, this is not a moment for tepid statements,” Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) said, referring to looming evictions that he said would constitute a violation of international law.

Israel’s controversial settlement activities are threatening to force Palestinians from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of east Jerusalem, in what was seen as the precursor to the violence that's exploded in the region over the past few weeks. Israeli attacks in Gaza, seen as retaliation for the strikes toward Israel's own territory, have killed more than 100 Palestinians this week alone. As of Friday evening, there were growing fears of a ground invasion in Gaza.

Also Friday an Israeli airstrike destroyed a high-rise building in Gaza City that housed offices of The Associated Press. The strike came nearly an hour after the military ordered people to evacuate the building, which also housed Al-Jazeera, other offices and residential apartments. There was no immediate explanation for why it was attacked.

“We’re in this moment today because Hamas made a horrible mistake and fired rockets unprovoked into Israel. But we also got here because the Israeli government has effectively eliminated the prospect of a viable future Palestinian state,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), who traveled to the region earlier this month just before the violence ramped up, said in a brief interview on Friday.

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

Top American officials are working feverishly to broker a ceasefire as the death toll over the past week has risen. But a ceasefire alone would not address what some Democrats see as an Israeli government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, that has actively impeded a viable Palestinian state. The conflict also comes as Israeli lawmakers are struggling to cobble together a coalition government.

While Biden’s top deputies have privately relayed their concerns about the settlements and possible evictions, the administration has simultaneously tried to keep Israel at bay as the president seeks to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal, which Israel vehemently opposes. That posture is no longer tenable, Democrats say, as the prospects of a full-blown war increase, and tensions between Arab and Jewish Israelis rise sharply.

“The administration must take this issue off the back burner and more urgently undo the harms done by the Trump administration that heightened tensions and pushed peace further out of reach,” said Rep. Andy Levin (D-Mich.), a progressive and a self-described Zionist who has urged the Israelis to cease what he calls an “occupation and creeping annexation.”

By not speaking out more directly against Israel’s activities, some Democrats believe, the Palestinians are being implicitly told that they will never be able to achieve sovereignty.

“In the wake of this crisis, it’s even more important for the United States to draw a harder line with the Israeli government and demand that these settlements and these evictions and these displacements stop,” Murphy added. “Because the violence will not end, whether we like it or not, if the Palestinians feel like they have no future and no ability to determine their own path.”

Other Democrats, too, are urging a reset of sorts when it comes to the U.S.-Israel relationship. In a New York Times op-ed on Friday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) similarly called on the Biden administration to speak out more forcefully against the Israeli government’s actions, and noted that there is no path toward de-escalation without U.S. involvement.

“[I]f the United States is going to be a credible voice on human rights on the global stage, we must uphold international standards of human rights consistently, even when it’s politically difficult,” Sanders wrote. “We must recognize that Palestinian rights matter. Palestinian lives matter.”

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

These and other statements underscore the slow but ongoing sea change in Democratic politics when it comes to U.S.-Israel relations. Sanders’ view has grown more prominent among Democrats in recent years, especially after droves of progressives were elected to Congress in 2018. Many of those same firebrands are growing concerned with Biden’s foreign policy decisions.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) pointed to a “strong generational shift” that is undergirding the disdain for the foreign policy establishment in Washington.

“The fact that this administration is even hesitating to take such a basic humane stance is disappointing and unacceptable,” Ocasio-Cortez told reporters at the Capitol on Friday. “We can’t advance this idea that we’re some neutral party in this situation if our actions are consistently targeting Palestinians.”

Not all Democrats see it that way. Speaker Nancy Pelosi described the ongoing conflict as a “Palestinian power struggle” as Hamas asserts its dominance over the Gaza Strip. She noted that Hamas is threatening the safety of innocent Israelis, and that the government has every right to defend its people.

“Many of our members in our caucus are great friends of Israel but understand, also, that we respect the self-determination, that we want a two-state solution in the region,” she said. “But that doesn’t give license to Hamas to bomb Israel.”

Much of the tension between Democrats and Netanyahu dates back to Barack Obama’s presidency, when the U.S. entered into the Iran nuclear deal despite Israel’s strenuous objections. Most Democrats supported that 2015 agreement, though there were notable holdouts, including now-Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and now-Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Republicans, meanwhile, are knocking Biden for his efforts to reenter the nuclear agreement, pointing to Tehran’s support for the terrorist groups that are attacking Israel. Any effort to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal would likely require the U.S. to lift the strict sanctions already in place.

“It is difficult to believe an American president would consider removing terrorism or missile-related sanctions at the very moment Iranian rockets are raining down on Israel,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said this week.

The democrats knew the election wasn't stolen in 2016 idiot.

But they did pay to create a false Russian collusion dossier, planted false leaks, had a swarm of false FAKE NEWS anonymous sources" "verify" them and eventually (with the help of FBI falsifying a key document) create a special counsel. They also had Adam Schiff on TV constantly swearing he had seen this with his own eyes in classified intelligence briefings which he couldn't get into detail on.

Mueller was brought on and assembled a team entirely composed of rabid partisan democrats. Who never found anything of substance. Biggest thing was $160,000 of Russian Facebook ads and passing on of some internal polling data. (China spent $60 million dollars this year on election interference for contrast)

After it was over the head Robert Mueller said under oath when questioned he had no idea who the dossier writer who started this whole thing, Christopher Steele, even was. Said he had never heard of him. And mysteriously all his teams phones all were wiped by accident on different occasions, including disgraced FBI member Strzok. Who had left compromising text messages in the past on another phone. Amazing "coincidences", like the whole investigation he led looking into Hillary and the subsequent wiping and destruction of all her electronics. Without even a video of her
testimony and bringing her whole team in to hear what she was saying before they could be questioned. It goes on and on.

Anyways does Mueller and the FBI sound like they led a competent and thorough investigation?

It was a witch hunt and a cover-up.

Yet Trump allowed Mueller to finish, despite the obvious goal of a real INSURRECTION !!!

Now the dems are credibly accused of a fraudulent election. One whose results flipped in the middle of the night.
