Tucker, The Five, Hannity, back on top as they should be!

CNN's viewership skids so low it's embarrassing

as per the latest Nielsen ratings, CNN has continued to hemorrhage viewers with primetime and entire day total viewership down over 70 percent since January.
Nielsen Media Research has the breakdown and it’s not pretty, no matter how the Zucker Borg would spin it. Since a January high of roughly 798,000 primetime viewers and 530,000 total day viewers in the 25-54 demographic, CNN has fallen off a cliff and into the pit of misery with the network fetching only 229,000 in primetime and 152,000 in total day over the past month.

So why are the liberals desperately trying to keep Trump in the news? Because apparently nobody is interested in watching the CNN personnel fellate the President and other Democrats. What is funny is if you look further down the list (I only included the top 30),  you actually see CNN programs being beaten by Newsmax programs. How embarrassing.

Ch, in your interest in truth, I'm sure you'd like to read the article I just put up at 8:14AM in the thread below giving us a balanced and reasonable view of Critical Race Theory, in contrast to your rantings.

Republicans are scared of Thecoldheartedtruth.

let’s not forget, here in the world’s richest nation, Black maternal mortality is three times the rate of maternal mortality for white women.

Given all that, it’s impossible not to see the image of Derek Chauvin’s knee on George Floyd’s neck, his hand so casually draped in his pocket, as a shamefully apt metaphor for the way white people, or their institutions, have held Black people down.

So why not study it, teach it and confront it?

Critical race theory offers a valuable way of looking at the reasons for widespread racial inequality. It’s not even particularly radical.

“It’s an approach to grappling with a history of white supremacy that rejects the belief that what’s in the past is in the past, and that the laws and systems that grow from that past are detached from it,” law professor KimberlĂ© Crenshaw recently told CNN. Crenshaw, who teaches at UCLA and Columbia law schools, helped pioneer the theory.

“Our founding ideals of liberty and equality were false when they were written,” wrote Nikole Hannah-Jones in her Pulitzer-Prize winning introduction to the 1619 Project. “Black Americans fought to make them true.”

The 1619 Project contained what some historians declared were factual inaccuracies — including an exaggeration of the role that protecting slavery played in the Revolutionary War. But the project’s reexamination of the country’s founding through the lens of how it exploited and mistreated enslaved people and their descendants was entirely worthy and remains a valuable tool for those looking to connect the past with present.

This country was indisputably founded on white supremacy, among other things, and that legacy has lived on in a million ways — the Jim Crow era after Reconstruction, lynchings, redlining, the civil rights struggles, mass incarceration, the backlash to the election of our first Black president and now the efforts to suppress voting rights, the refusal of Republicans to support a congressional investigation into the events of Jan. 6, which appear to have been orchestrated by white supremacists, and the histrionics of conservatives over critical race theory.

“America is an old house,” writes Wilkerson. “We can never declare the work over. … Not one of us was here when this house was built … but here we are, the current occupants of a property with stress cracks and bowed walls and fissures built into the foundation. We are the heirs to whatever is right or wrong with it. We did not erect the uneven pillars or joists, but they are ours to deal with now.”

Yet the Republican establishment in this country, still beholden to former President Trump, whose own history of racism is irrefutable, is working hard to pretend the foundation has always been solid — and to force schools into line with their views.

These inappropriate state intrusions into the classroom are nothing more than an attempt to — yes — whitewash our history, pretend the law is color-blind and stop the clock, once again, on progress toward racial equality.

Critical race theory is a supremacist ideology, ascribing all positive traits to "blackness" and all negative traits to "whiteness."

The solution: reject the premise of race essentialism in all its forms. Stop using crude racial labels and pejoratives to demonize individuals.

the white racists here like roger love CRT

The more he posts about it the more it's evident he's a racist

Go read the EXCELLENT article on CRT at 8:14AM in the next thread down.

MEANWHILE

at 8:30am above, F-ing's video is stupid.

I didn't know that every time Joe climbs the AF One steps he falls down, and I must admit Trump was easy to keep up with, sitting there watching Fox half the day -- that is, when he wasn't out playing golf at taxpayers' expense.

"White supremacy" is the most delusional and destructive moral panic in American history. We don't have a white supremacy problem in this country. There is no major white supremacist threat. This is being invented out of whole cloth by the media and the government.

A false narrative used for a power grab and for political purposes

In fact it's a racist ploy

I guess slavery never happened,
or Jim Crow,
or lynchings,
or Tulsa,
or red lining.

I guess blacks were always free in this country and could vote on an equal basis with whites and could own land and intermarry with whites and could not be whipped and murdered without trial by slave owners and black women could never be raped by white masters and blacks could always compete in every way on an equal basis with whites. And I guess all the treaties with Native Americans were always kept and were never broken and Native Americans were never forced onto a Trail of Tears and anyone who says any of that happened is just trying to tell lies and engage in racist propaganda about our great and always perfect nation according to Trump and so we should never teach anything different from what he says happened or didn't happen, for anything else would be a lie.

The founding fathers feared the freedom of speech, but they decided that the people have the right to choose what they want to believe.

The current right wing media is dangerous, but the fact is that if everyone is allowed to vote easily, instead or imposing carefully crafted voter suppression legislation, the Democrats would win again in November 2022.

The percentage of the population who self identify as a Republican is at a historic low.

They are afraid of the voice of the people. If they succeed, a racist minority will destroy the American dream.

I remain optimistic because they are more motivated than in history.

Some of the vote suppression legislation might be reversed by the Supreme Court, because Kavanaugh might have a conscious.
