Suspicious or just a random coincidence?

Alarm goes off in Fulton County warehouse containing 2020 election absentee ballots
An alarm went off over the weekend in a warehouse in Fulton County, Georgia, holding 147,000 absentee ballots from the 2020 election. Officials said the ballots, poised to be unsealed and examined as part of a judge-approved election audit, were secure the entire time, and an investigation is underway.
“We can confirm that the security alarm was activated at the warehouse on Saturday. The matter is currently under review by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office. We are confident that the ballots at the warehouse have been secure at all times,” a Fulton County representative said.

One has to believe that there is security footage of the building? One has to wonder if there was any actual response to the alarm? Did the police or private security come to investigate?  One has to wonder a lot of things given the odd coincidence that right after a Judge approves an unsealing and audit of the absente ballots, that there is some sort of break in attempt?

Or actually... how do we know that a break-in did not actually occur and that there just wasn't any sort of real response?

Yep. This goes overlooked while the simpletons among us ejaculate over the news that Trump shut down his blog.

In other news, THIS is why we need to make DC a state:

Democratic Washington, D.C., Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton introduced a bill Tuesday that would require car crash test dummies to use both male and female models.

Numbskulls like Norton, pressing the important issues of the day.

God help us all.

If you look at it in detail. Most arrests for fraud. Most amount of problems with the counts. Most election lawsuits. Most election lawsuits won.

'Get a shot and have a beer': Biden's new glass-half-full strategy woos vaccine skeptics
(CNN) - This Bud's for you, and anyone else ready to roll up their sleeve to put the pandemic behind them.
The White House's new partnership with Anheuser-Busch offering free beers if the country reaches its goal of getting 70% of adults at least one Covid-19 vaccine shot by July 4 -- almost Prohibition in reverse -- is more than a gimmick.
It's a headline that heralds a widening, more micro-targeted approach to getting skeptical Americans vaccinated against Covid-19 and a shift from an approach that saw mass vaccination sites in stadiums earlier this year. It's also a sign of growing concern about slowing inoculation rates, fears that millions of unprotected Americans could be vulnerable to new viral spikes in the fall and a desire to preserve the miracle wrought by vaccines.
After several days in which Dr. Anthony Fauci's just-released emails painted a picture of foreboding at the beginning of the crisis last year, President Joe Biden conjured up the prospect of a Covid-free future at the White House.
"Get a shot and have a beer. Free beer for everyone 21 years or over to celebrate the independence from the virus," he said.

The former President's own administration spokesman said

The 2020 US election was the most secure in American history, according to US elections officials.

“The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history. Right now, across the country, election officials are reviewing and double-checking the entire election process prior to finalizing the result,” the coordinating bodies on election infrastructure and security said in a joint statement issued by the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

The company hired by the Republicans in the state legislature is run by a QAnon troll squad like you know who has become.

The real story from the right wing nutcase media companies

The number of new applications for unemployment benefits dropped 20,000 last week to 385,000, the Labor Department reported on Thursday, a new pandemic low.

Get home delivery of the magazine. Subscribe today!

The number of new jobless claims represents the number of people who filed for unemployment in the previous week. The figure ended up beating forecasters’ expectations of 390,000 new claims. The number is also lower than the week prior, which logged 406,000 filings.

The numbers come as economists closely watch how the economy is rebounding from the COVID-19 pandemic and at what rate people are returning to the labor force. Some economists worry there is a labor shortage and fear the economy is heating up too much!

Nice selective edit, alky.

The comments on the security of the election were made in regards toforeign interference.

And there were not sixty "attempts." 60 cases were rejected for "lacking standing." Which is the courts way of saying they're too cowardly to hear the case.

Fuck, you lie about everything.

You are out of control.

After the 2020 United States presidential election, the campaign for incumbent President Donald Trump and others filed and lost at least 86 lawsuits[1] contesting election processes, vote counting, and the vote certification process in multiple states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.[2] Among the judges who dismissed the aforementioned lawsuits were judges appointed by Trump himself.[3]

Nearly all the suits were dismissed or dropped due to lack of evidence.[4] Judges, lawyers, and other observers described the suits as "frivolous"[5] and "without merit".[6][7] In one instance, the Trump campaign and other groups seeking his reelection collectively lost multiple cases in six states on a single day.[8] Only one ruling was initially in Trump's favor: the timing within which first-time Pennsylvania voters must provide proper identification if they wanted to “cure” their ballots. This ruling affected very few votes,[9] and it was later overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.[10]

Trump, his attorneys, and his supporters falsely[11] asserted widespread election fraud in public statements, though few such assertions were made in court.[12] Every state except Wisconsin[13] met the December 8 statutory "safe harbor" deadline to resolve disputes and certify voting results. The Trump legal team had said it would not consider this election certification deadline as an expiration date for its litigation of the election results.[14][15][16] Three days after it was filed by Texas attorney general Ken Paxton, the Supreme Court on December 11 declined to hear a case supported by Trump and his Republican allies asking for electoral votes in four states to be rejected.[17]

Pennsylvania lawyers say fuck yourself

Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here," said Bibas, who was appointed by Trump.

"The campaign cannot win this lawsuit," he said.

Bibas authored the order along with two other judges on the bench, Chief Circuit Judge Brooks Smith and Judge Michael Chagares, who were appointed by former Republican president George W Bush.

When or if it goes to the Supreme Court, they will unanimously decide that the voters choose their leaders, not observers or lawyers choose their leaders.

Trump increasingly obsessed with ballot audits in bid to overturn election

Josh Dawsey and Rosalind S. Helderman, The Washington Post

Updated: June 2, 2021 5:15 p.m.

WASHINGTON - Former president Donald Trump remains relentlessly focused on the false claim that the November election was stolen from him and is increasingly consumed with the notion that ballot reviews pushed by his supporters around the country could prove that he won, according to people familiar with his comments.

Trump has rebuffed calls from some advisers to drop the matter, instead fixating on an ongoing Republican-commissioned audit in Arizona and plotting how to secure election reviews in other states, such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Georgia, according to advisers. He is most animated by the efforts in Fulton County, Ga., and Maricopa County, Ariz., according to two advisers who, like others interviewed for this report, spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations.

Trump's interest has been fueled by conversations he has had with an array of figures who have publicly touted false claims of election fraud. Among them, according to advisers, is Christina Bobb, a host at the One America News network who has privately discussed the Arizona audit with the former president and his team; Mike Lindell, the chief executive of the company MyPillow; and Pennsylvania state Sen. Doug Mastriano, a Republican, who urged the state's congressional delegation to reject Biden's victory there last fall.

Trump has become so fixated on the audits that he suggested recently to allies that their success could result in his return to the White House this year, according to people familiar with comments he has made. Some advisers said that such comments appear to be just offhand musings.

If the Republicans conduct an Insurrection on the White House in August as the former president believes, S.Scott Johnson would continue to believe The Big Lie and would cheer as the President Trump cuts the Constitution with a pair of scissors.

The Wall Street Journal writes today about our unprecedented economic rebound:

New businesses are popping up at the fastest pace on record. The rate at which workers quit their jobs—a proxy for confidence in the labor market—matches the highest going back at least to 2000. American household debt-service burdens, as a share of after-tax income, are near their lowest levels since 1980, when records began. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up nearly 18% from its pre-pandemic peak in February 2020. Home prices nationwide are nearly 14% higher since that time.

....“We’ve never had anything like it—a collapse and then a boom-like pickup,” said Allen Sinai, chief global economist and strategist at Decision Economics, Inc. “It is without historical parallel.”

Needless to say, this is all because Congress acted with a bigger and faster rescue package than ever in history—and the Fed cooperated during the entire downturn with loose monetary policy. Among other things, that makes the next couple of years a terrific experiment in monetary and fiscal policy. If we recover faster than ever, and do so without sparking an inflationary spiral, it will be a strong indication that our past responses to economic downturns have been routinely too timid.

Stay tuned
