PITTSBURGH, PA—The FBI released disturbing new details today regarding alleged January 6th rioter Robert Morss, who had a fully-constructed LEGO Capitol building in his home. Agents say Morss was also building several LEGO Harry Potter sets, leading authorities to believe he was planning a similar attack on Hogwarts Castle.
“The suspect had several completed LEGO Harry Potter building sets and was about 80% of the way through building the advanced-level LEGO Harry Potter Castle,” said FBI bureau chief Warren Alvarez. “We feel we caught him just in the nick of time before things turned violent once more.”
Alvarez said a review of Morss’ online social media accounts show him to be a staunch supporter of Lord Voldemort, believing that Albus Dumbledore was fraudulently elected as the leader of Hogwarts. Documents found on his computer show that Morss was planning a violent protest at the school on July 31, Harry Potter’s birthday.
“This is a huge win for law enforcement,” said Alvarez. “The FBI is proud of our work taking dangerous, LEGO-building criminals off the streets. Also, now I don’t have to buy my kid a birthday present, which is awesome.”
In related news, press secretary Jen Psaki said President Biden is renewing his calls for common-sense LEGO control, calling for universal background checks for all LEGO purchases as well as closing the toy show loophole. Psaki said. “We must work vigilantly to keep these dangerous LEGO weapons of war off our streets,” Psaki said.
Having cared for a parent with dementia, I think Sloe Joe is residing right about here:
Stage 6: Moderately Severe Dementia
When the patient begins to forget the names of their children, spouse, or primary caregivers, they are most likely entering stage 6 of dementia and will need full time care. In the sixth stage, patients are generally unaware of their surroundings, cannot recall recent events, and have skewed memories of their personal past.
Caregivers and loved ones should watch for:
Delusional behavior
Obsessive behavior and symptoms
Anxiety, aggression, and agitation
Loss of willpower
Patients may begin to wander, have difficulty sleeping, and in some cases will experience hallucinations.
A LITTLE MORE INFO ON THE HARMLESS LEGGO ADMIRER OF OUR CAPITOL BUILDING Yahoo News Tribune Publishing Feds: Glenshaw man charged in Jan. 6 riot had Lego model of Capitol, militia notes
Tom Davidson, The Tribune-Review, Greensburg Thu, July 8, 2021, 1:05 PM·3 min read
Jul. 8—A Glenshaw man facing federal charges for helping to lead the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol had a handwritten, step-by-step guide detailing "How to Create Hometown Militia," along with a handgun, a shotgun and a rifle, when he was arrested June 11, according to a federal court filing.
Authorities said they also found a fully constructed Lego model of the U.S. Capitol Building.
Robert Morss, 27, is charged with assault, resisting or impeding officers; civil disorder; robbery of personal property of the United States; and obstruction of an official proceeding.
"His actions inherently prove he is a danger to the community at large, and the law enforcement officers who stand in the way of his ideological beliefs, whose safety can only be assured by his detention," Channing D. Phillips, the acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, wrote in a 39-page brief filed July 2 asking for Morss' continued detention as he awaits trial.
When FBI agents arrested Morss, they also recovered a "Don't Tread on Me" flag, a neck gaiter, a military utility bag, a black tourniquet and military fatigues that appear to match items he carried during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, according to the filing.
"Law enforcement also recovered a fully constructed U.S. Capitol Lego set," the filing noted.
Authorities found a notebook in his car that included names, equipment and steps including "Battle Drills, Ambush and Formations" that were a guide to create a militia, according to the filing.
"Morss came prepared for battle, dressed in tactical gear, wearing goggles, and carrying a knife and scissors, and a tourniquet," Phillips wrote in the filing. "In short, Morss came prepared for violence and then repeatedly led the violent mob attacking law enforcement in an effort to overtake the Capitol."
Unnamed witnesses who identified Morss from photos released after the insurrection told authorities Morss served in the military and attended Penn State University.
He was a day-to-day substitute teacher at Shaler Area School District with a focus on social studies and was certified to teach middle and high school students.
He was captured on video and photos taken Jan. 6. At several points during the mayhem, he appeared to have taken a leadership role in storming past Capitol Police into the building, police said.
In bodycam footage from police, Morss can be heard talking to the officers, saying, "You guys are betraying us. You get paid enough to betray your people?"
He then continues, "This is our Capitol. This is our Capitol."
Morss also was heard in released footage saying, "Take a look around, back up, we are going to take our Capitol back."
If released, Phillips wrote, he continues to be a danger to the community and "presents a future threat."
"It is difficult to fathom a more serious danger to the community — to the District of Columbia, to the country, or to the fabric of American Democracy — than the one posed by someone who knowingly and eagerly engaged in a violent insurrection to occupy the United States Capitol and abort the certification of a lawful and fair election," Phillips wrote. "Every person who was present without authority in the Capitol on January 6 contributed to the chaos of that day and the danger posed to law enforcement, the United States Vice President, Members of Congress, and the peaceful transfer of power."
"However, Morss violently led that effort and thus his specific conduct aggravated that chaos and danger."
Morss is represented by Kathleen M. Gaughan of the Federal Community Defender Office. She did not return a message seeking comment.

It's quite obvious the LEGGO builder was only an innocent, harmless tourist visiting the Capitol that day.
It's quite obvious that Ashli Babbitt was murdered that day as her death was ruled a homicide. Murdered by a black guy no less. How perfectly stereotypical.
Another black on white murder that will go un-prosecuted.
Of topic but it is great news Our children and grandchildren are going back to school!
Schools should stay open this fall with some precautions in place, even where Covid-19 cases are rising, federal officials said, edging some of the nation’s most communal spaces closer to pre-pandemic norms.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday that teachers and students who are vaccinated against Covid-19 don’t need to wear masks in schools. Unvaccinated adults and children under 12, for whom vaccines haven’t yet been authorized in the U.S., should wear masks and students of all ages should continue to learn three feet apart, the CDC said.
Where that isn’t possible, the CDC said, classes should be held anyway in conjunction with other precautions like ventilation and cleaning. Even where Covid-19 cases are rising as the highly contagious Delta variant spreads, the CDC said that all students and teachers should continue to meet in person and that those who are unvaccinated should be tested weekly.
The guidance advances the CDC’s steady rollback in recent months of measures adopted to prevent the spread of Covid-19. As vaccines have helped push new cases to a small fraction of the peaks reached last winter, the CDC has moved in stages to relax its guidance on face masks, travel and schools.
The President is going to speak out about the most important issue in history.
WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will deliver remarks in Philadelphia on Tuesday about his administration’s actions “to protect the sacred constitutional right to vote,” a source familiar with the matter tells NBC News.
The White House has been under pressure from progressive and civil rights activists to make stronger use of the presidential bully pulpit as Republicans at the state and local level have been pushing new restrictive voting laws in the name of fraud prevention. The big lie.
New rules imposed in some Republican-controlled states will restrict when voting can happen, imposing voter ID requirements and overhauling election administration. They have been enacted in concert with former President Donald Trump's continued efforts to falsely claim that the 2020 election was stolen via rampant fraud, despite there being no evidence.
WHITE HOUSE Not Sleepy Joe Biden to deliver voting speech in Philadelphia next week
Philadelphia is rich in both political and historical significance for the president, who kicked off his 2020 campaign there in what he called the “birthplace of our democracy.”
In a speech in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last month, Biden said the “sacred right is under assault with an incredible intensity like I’ve never seen,” calling it “simply un-American.” He has promised multiple times since to travel the country speaking out about voting.
On Thursday, Biden met with leading civil rights groups, who have called on him to take a stronger stance in support of federal voting legislation championed by Democrats, including to support calls to abolish the filibuster for voting rights legislation.
The administration has focused their efforts on executive actions — primarily through the Justice Department — while also signaling they intend to make a major political push on this in the midterm elections.
Vice President Kamala Harris kicked off that effort Thursday, announcing the DNC’s $25 million expansion of its “I Will Vote” Campaign, focused on voter registration, education and turnout efforts.
“We are going to assemble the largest voter-protection team we have ever had to ensure that all Americans can vote and have your vote counted in a fair and transparent process,” Harris said. ____
The Democrats know that they have to get out in huge numbers to save the country from Trump and the current Republican party.
JamesNewLeaf said... We have video of her attempting to climb in.
I've seen an individual (maybe a few) climbing in through a broken window but 100's went in through unlocked doors.
That apparently were unlocked by Capitol Police.
One whole side of the capitol had no security fencing/barriers though it was opposite of where people breached.
But feel free to correct me with the link to the video showing her climbing through a broken window you say you have.
And how about all the other points I made ?
Especially why not release all the video. If a policeman shot someone and had body-cam video and the police refused to release it what would you say. What have you said ?
and why the presumption of guilt and extreme confinement ?
Can you imagine it this had been done to previous breaches like the Trump inauguration or the Kavanaugh hearings ?
I suspect the state media wouldn't have been silent.
The Jan 6 commission is being led by Rep. Bennie Thompson, who objected to the electoral college results in 2004, Jamie Raskin, who objected in 2016, and Adam Schiff, the biggest conspiracy theorist in the history of the U.S. Congress
Well it appears fairer than the individuals "Mueller" hired for his "investigation". Which ended with him admitting he didn't even know who Christopher Steele was. The author of the whole fake Russia collusion dossier. What a fraud "investigation".
Maybe they can start by identifying the shooter and releasing all the video.
WASHINGTON, D.C.—White House staff are becoming increasingly concerned about a potentially dangerous situation. As always, the president has sole authority to launch nuclear weapons. President Biden requested that he be given a button that he wears at all times for that. The problem is that the White House also has several Life Alert buttons to alert people when Biden's fallen or had another old person-type calamity, and those buttons look exactly the same.
“I just have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that we are headed toward a bad situation here,” said a White House aide who asked to remain anonymous. "There have been a few close calls already."
Biden's Life Alert button is big and red and says "HELP" on it, and the nuclear launch button is big and red and says "NUKE" on it, a design decision the Biden administration is now regretting. He also has a personal Life Alert button he wears around his neck, but for convenience's sake, he has a nuclear launch button around his neck as well, and it says "Launch Alert" on it, which officials are now admitting was a bad naming choice. And since Biden is constantly getting lost wandering around the White House looking for ice cream, falling down, and calling for help, many are wondering how this could possibly end well.
“Let’s just be frank about this,” said another aide gravely. “One of these days he’s going to fall and can’t get up and start a nuclear war, and then we’re all going to fall and can’t get up.”
I went back and looked at her shooting video and it was while people were breaking door windows inside the capitol so I assume that is what you were referring to, I thought you were talking about her entrance. But at that point she has an entire group of heavily armed Capitol Police with weapons at the ready directly behind her. She is unarmed. To me it looks like she is going to a window to look and the gunman quickly moves his gun and shoots her without warning.
Ugly scene - yes. Necessary force - no. Maybe a voice command and a warning shot at best. Lucky the shooter didn't hit a capitol policeman.
Maria Sacchetti July 09 at 7:00 AM PDT U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will no longer detain most pregnant, nursing and postpartum women for deportation, reversing a Trump-era rule that permitted officials to jail thousands of immigrants in those circumstances, according to a new policy released Friday. ICE’s new policy is even more expansive than it was during the Obama era, when President Biden was vice president. The Obama administration generally exempted pregnant women from immigration detention, but the Biden administration is also including women who gave birth within the prior year and those who are nursing, which could last longer than a year. The policy adds to the growing list of immigrants exempt from arrest or deportation for violating civil immigration laws. Critics have said that Biden is abandoning his responsibility to enforce U.S. laws, but the president has said he wants a more humane approach to immigration, especially for parents and children arriving in increasing numbers from regions such as Central America.

No wonder the socialist floated the lie that Republicans refunded cops.
"A USA Today/Ipsos poll revealed Thursday that 77 percent of Americans want additional police officers, as Democrats move to defund law enforcement while crime surges nationwide.
“In the survey, 7 in 10 supported increasing police department budgets; 77% said they would like additional police officers deployed on street patrols. And 62% also said some of the police budgets should be used to fund community policing,” the poll revealed."

Sounds like Robert Morss would fit right in with Antifa. Antifa wear the same sort of clothing, coordinate attacks against police, take batons and shields from police, try to break through police lines, etc, etc...
You can read through his charging statement and see that there was no suggestion that he hit a police officer, used a weapon on a police officer, or did much more than try to break through the police barrier.
You know, and everyday occurrence for your typical Antifa rioters.
But, of course, a good Christian like yourself understands that sometimes attacking Federal buildings and police officers is a perfectly acceptable thing and none of those people should ever be charged. Because of George Floyd or something.
They never called Trump's america first philosophy Is isolationist.
President Biden is trying to reverse course.
Opinion by Greg Sargent July 09 at 7:58 AM PDT When President Biden recently announced a deal with 130 countries to combat tax avoidance by multinational corporations, you probably didn’t connect the news to the poisonous impact that Donald Trump continues to wield over our politics. But if Biden can pull this off, it could deal a big blow to one of the worst aspects of that Trumpian toxicity — the lingering lure of the former president’s right wing nationalism. aka isolationist philosophy
It has largely gone unnoticed, but there is a nontrivial chance that the “reconciliation” part of the infrastructure bill will contain provisions implementing the United States portion of the tax deal, which is called the Global Minimum Tax. The Wall Street Journal reports that Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is in discussions with Senate Democrats about including those provisions. Yellen must negotiate the final details of the international deal and sell it in Congress.
That will be tough to pull off. But the deal is itself already a victory. In an unappreciated way, it points to a meaningful answer to Trumpian nationalist demagoguery by rehabilitating a sense of the possibilities of multilateralism as a response to many problems unleashed by globalization.
You see this right-wing nationalism when J.D. Vance, who’s running for Senate in Ohio, calls for higher taxes on multinationals, while declaring that global capitalism has been very good to the “elites and the ruling class” who “have plundered this country.” International tax avoidance does typify many degradations associated with globalization. As Gabriel Zucman and his colleagues note, “international capital mobility and profit shifting” has turned multinationals into some of “the biggest winners of globalization.”

Trump probably would have withdrawn from NATO because he is ignorant about it.
Prior to the Pearl Harbor attacks a majority of Republicans were isolationist.
Both parties fought the cold war until the end of the Soviet Union. Trump would have been the most dangerous isolationist in history.

The security fence that currently surrounds Capitol grounds due to the pro-Trump insurrection on Jan. 6 is slated to begin coming down on Friday, more than six months after the mob attacked the building.
House Sergeant at Arms William Walker sent a memo to members of Congress earlier this week informing them that the Capitol Police Board had approved the fence’s removal per the recommendation of the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP).
The process is expected to take three days, according to the memo. Meanwhile, “current building access restrictions will remain in place.”
The S&P 500 rose to a fresh record on Friday as the major averages rebounded from the previous session’s losses over concerns of a slowdown in global economic growth.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose about 410 points, or 1.1%. The S&P 500 bounced by about 0.95%, hitting a new intraday record. The technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 0.8%. The gains brought all three majors averages into the green for the week. The S&P 500 is headed for its 6th positive week in seven.
Most of us are familiar with the Hans Christian Anderson folktale “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” Two unscrupulous tailors produce a fine suit of clothing for a powerful emperor claiming that it’s invisible to anyone who is unfit for his office or who is unusually stupid. After being presented with the suit, the naked emperor leads a procession through the town where his new clothes are a big hit with the townspeople until a child shouts out the emperor is wearing no clothes. Eventually, everyone in town begins to shout the emperor is naked; however, the emperor, who has already begun to believe they may be correct, doubles down and continues his triumphant walk even more proudly than before.
The townsfolk in Anderson’s tale came to the realization the emperor was naked through deductive reasoning and critical thinking. Even in 1837, Anderson matter-of-factly concluded that the townsfolk, even with their sturdy peasant simplicity, would intuitively arrive at the truth when a child’s statement forced them to confront beliefs their own eyes had confirmed were false. But what of the “townsfolk” of today? Living in an age where all information in the world can be accessed with the touch of a smartphone button, surely they must have a firm grasp on reality?
Today charlatans are deceiving the American people with outrageous claims that, if not believed, show you are unfit for your place in society or simply stupid. The exquisite, magical cloth on the loom has been replaced with Critical Race Theory, transgenderism, and Marxism. White children are told racism is embedded in the very fabric or their genetic makeup, that they are irredeemably racist, and their kind is responsible for all the misery in the world. Society is told that it must embrace mental illness and believe girls can be boys and boys can be girls, or cats, or fish, dinosaurs... Capitalism inevitably results in colonialism, poverty, and exploitation. Fairness and equity are withheld from minorities because of institutional racism, blacks are routinely hunted for sport by police, and socialism raises all people to equal footing. Looting is justice for the downtrodden, guns are bad, arson is free speech, national borders work best when left open, and excessive government spending is the key to economic prosperity.
And many of today’s “townsfolk” trust the charlatans and loudly proclaim the ills of society are caused by our failure to embrace this new way of thinking. They vigorously applaud a President obviously in the throes of mental decline for spending the future earnings of our grandchildren and saddling them with a debt they can never repay. They welcome millions of illegal aliens from dysfunctional, corrupt nations to our country with the justification they are humanitarians and the country has plenty of resources for everyone. They castigate anyone who doubts humans are capable of miraculously changing their own sex or that humans can alter the climate of an entire planet simply by outlawing fossil fuels, controlling cow flatulence, and driving electric cars charged with electricity produced from fossil fuels.
With conservatives in Loudon County, Virginia mobilizing to recall several Democratic county school board members, a Politico headline this week asked, “Could a School-Board Fight Over Critical Race Theory Help Turn Virginia Red?”
Also this week, when The Washington Post examined the heated Loudon County debate, it quoted a former school board member, and self-described former conservative-turned-moderate, who argued, “this is the last gasp of the old guard of Republicans in Virginia before they either move to Tennessee or die out or whatever. It’s almost like the cicadas. The cicadas got louder before they died.”
Which is it? The beginning of the white backlash? Or the end?
I’m the kind of person who, in general, worries about backlashes, as mandates can be misinterpreted or outright illusory. And we know that progress towards racial justice can trigger fierce resistance. Obama was followed by Trump. LBJ was followed by Nixon. Reconstruction was followed by Jim Crow.
But with the CRT controversy, we are not witnessing risky political overreach from the left. We are witnessing manufactured outrage from the right.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden on Friday signed an executive order taking aim at corporate consolidation and big businesses that he said unfairly drive up consumer prices, decrease worker wages and make it more difficult for new companies to emerge.
The order — which includes 72 initiatives across more than a dozen federal agencies — addresses a wide range of issues, from hearing aids to airline fees, and marks one of the most aggressive attempts in generations to enforce antitrust policy.

I think I’ve had discussions w/enough Boomer-tier Trump supporters who believe the 2020 election was fraudulent to extract a general theory about their perspective. It is also the perspective of most of the people at the Capitol on 1/6, and probably even Trump himself. 1/x
Most believe some or all of the theories involving midnight ballots, voting machines, etc, but what you find when you talk to them is that, while they’ll defend those positions w/info they got from Hannity or Breitbart or whatever, they’re not particularly attached to them. 2/x
Here are the facts – actual, confirmed facts – that shape their perspective: 1) The FBI/etc spied on the 2016 Trump campaign using evidence manufactured by the Clinton campaign. We now know that all involved knew it was fake from Day 1 (see: Brennan’s July 2016 memo, etc). 3/x
These are Tea Party people. The types who give their kids a pocket Constitution for their birthday and have Founding Fathers memes in their bios. The intel community spying on a presidential campaign using fake evidence (incl forged documents) is a big deal to them. 4/x
Everone involved lied about their involvement as long as they could. We only learned the DNC paid for the manufactured evidence because of a court order. Comey denied on TV knowing the DNC paid for it, when we have emails from a year earlier proving that he knew. 5/x
This was true with everyone, from CIA Dir Brennan & Adam Schiff – who were on TV saying they’d seen clear evidence of collusion w/Russia, while admitting under oath behind closed doors that they hadn’t – all the way down the line. In the end we learned that it was ALL fake. 6/x
At first, many Trump ppl were worried there must be some collusion, because every media & intel agency wouldn’t make it up out of nothing. When it was clear that they had made it up, people expected a reckoning, and shed many illusions about their gov’t when it didn’t happen. 7/x
We know as fact: a) The Steele dossier was the sole evidence used to justify spying on the Trump campaign, b) The FBI knew the Steele dossier was a DNC op, c) Steele’s source told the FBI the info was unserious, d) they did not inform the court of any of this and kept spying. 8/x
Trump supporters know the collusion case front and back. They went from worrying the collusion must be real, to suspecting it might be fake, to realizing it was a scam, then watched as every institution – agencies, the press, Congress, academia – gaslit them for another year. 9/x
Worse, collusion was used to scare people away from working in the administration. They knew their entire lives would be investigated. Many quit because they were being bankrupted by legal fees. The DoJ, press, & gov’t destroyed lives and actively subverted an elected admin. 10/x
President Biden on Friday urged President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia to “take action to disrupt” online criminal organizations in his country and said that the United States reserves the right to respond against hackers who launch ransomware attacks from inside Russia, according to a White House readout of a telephone call between the two leaders.
“I made it very clear to him that the United States expects when a ransomware operation is coming from his soil, even though it’s not sponsored by the state, we expect him to act, and we give him enough information to act on who that is,” Mr. Biden said to reporters after signing an executive order at the White House.
Asked if Russia would face consequences for the spate of recent attacks, Mr. Biden simply replied “yes.”
The call came in the wake of a ransomware attack over the July 4 weekend in which a Russia-based group called REvil, an abbreviation of “ransomware evil,” hacked a Florida company that provides software to thousands of smaller firms. Russian hackers were also accused of breaching a contractor for the Republican National Committee last week.
“Biden underscored the need for Russia to take action to disrupt ransomware groups operating in Russia and emphasized that he is committed to continued engagement on the broader threat posed by ransomware,” the White House statement said. “President Biden reiterated that the United States will take any necessary action to defend its people and its critical infrastructure in the face of this continuing challenge.”

There's not a world leader on this planet - friend OR foe - who doesn't see Slow Joe as an assclown.
1901, President Theodore Roosevelt, in a 20,000-word State of the Union message to Congress, called on lawmakers to curb the power of trusts.
“Great corporations exist only because they are created and safeguarded by our institutions,” the president declared. Therefore, he added, it is “our right and our duty to see that they work in harmony with
Roosevelt’s legal weapon of choice was the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, championed by Sen. John Sherman (R-Ohio), passed by Congress in 1890 and signed into law by his predecessor in office, William McKinley. It was the first measure ever enacted by Congress directly aimed at prohibiting trusts and inhibiting monopoly power.
The Roosevelt administration sued successfully to break up such monopolies as John D. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil Co. and J.P. Morgan’s Northern Securities Co., a railroad conglomerate that the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision, dissolved.
“There is a widespread conviction in the minds of the American people that the great corporations known as trusts are in certain of their features and tendencies hurtful to the general welfare,” Roosevelt wrote in his first message as president, following McKinley’s assassination.

Biden't warning as reported by rrb at 7:16 is plenty strong. In effect, he is telling Putin, "Your borders will not protect you if we have to come in cybernetically after criminal elements among you ourselves."
President Donald Trump got so upset at the news that his campaign aide Corey Lewandowski was heading over to work for Vice President Mike Pence's team in 2018 that he crumpled up the newspaper article about it and chucked it at Pence, according to an excerpt of a new book by The Wall Street Journal's Michael Bender published on Friday .
"So disloyal," Trump reportedly told Pence as he threw the newspaper article. The excerpt said Trump was concerned that the new hire "made him look weak."
Trump administration officials described the episode to Bender as one of the rare examples of Pence confronting Trump during their time in office, the excerpt said.
Pence told Trump that Jared Kushner, Trump's senior advisor and son-in-law, had asked him to bring Lewandowski on board and that he'd had lunch with Trump to discuss the move, the excerpt said.
Pence picked up the scrunched newspaper article and tossed it back at Trump, Bender wrote. Then Pence "leaned toward the president and pointed a finger a few inches from his chest," the excerpt said.
"We walked you through every detail of this," Pence reportedly said. "We did this for you - as a favor. And this is how you respond? You need to get your facts straight."
If Pence ever writes a book about Trump it would drive Scott crazy with anger.
The Republicans did not realized is that “Sleepy Joe’s" discreet strategy did more than just avoid harm to the Democrats. It also set a trap for Trump’s supporters and they walked right into it. And he got over 81 million votes. A record high.
One member of Congress openly suggested while the door knocks this year may concern COVID vaccinations, those next year might be about collecting Americans' guns.
But a a report from Press California explains Oregon already is considering ways to implement Biden's agenda, and "one tactic could be to send out the National Guard to neighborhoods."
And he stands by as his staff portrays Biden as senile. McConnell aides “have taken to describing the White House chief of staff as ‘Prime Minister Klain,’” the Hill reported, attempting “to undercut public perception of Biden as a leader who is totally with it.” With friends like these …
McConnell is not a man you’d want in your foxhole — or on your desert island. But his treachery would make for good television. I propose a “Naked and Afraid” spinoff: "In the Swamp.”
Episode One: Biden erects a tent. McConnell knocks it down. Biden builds a hut. McConnell burns it down. Biden digs a shelter in the ground. McConnell fills it with scorpions and snakes.
Episode Two: The survivalists go fishing. Biden spears a fish. Biden goes foraging for kindling to cook the fish but returns to discover that McConnell has eaten the whole fish raw. McConnell blames Biden for his upset stomach.
Episode Three: McConnell introduces Biden to an orangutan he has befriended with blaze-orange fur. The orangutan destroys their camp, eats all their food, contaminates their water supply, then attacks the Discovery camera crew. But McConnell tells Biden he cannot stop the orangutan because there is a Senate runoff in Georgia.
Episode Four: Biden “taps out” and calls for a helicopter evacuation. McConnell, chased by the orangutan, clambers aboard, too. The men have survived only three days together. Each ends with a PSR (Primitive Survival Rating) score of zero.
I can only imagine the fallout occurring if Ashely Babbitt was a BLM activist. So now the news is you can shoot someone for breaking and entering. Good thing to know.
A key difference between populism and fascism is that, for populists, actual electoral results matter. In contrast, fascism implies permanent power, irrespective of the ballot box. Populism affirms the authoritarian idea that one person can fully personify “the people” and the nation — but it must be confirmed via electoral procedures.
Whereas fascism has reveled in lies, populism has respected the truth of the ballot box. This doesn’t mean it always advances democracy — indeed it frequently manipulates it. But it still derives power and depends on the integrity of the electoral system. That is why populist leaders have long recognized the value of respecting electoral results, even if they came out on the losing end of the democratic process.
But this distinction is beginning to fade. In this sense, President Donald Trump has been a trailblazer for global autocrats. Especially in his denial of the election’s results and embrace the "big lie” about voter fraud, Trump represents a historical turning point in populist politics, enabling and inspiring others — just like fascist dictators before him.
The link will follow. But you won't read it because you don't care about anything but power.
It's the silly season, which means there's not much hard news to write about. So I thought I'd check in on the Republican Party instead. What are they up to these days? This:
Refusing to investigate the deadly insurrection of January 6 because it might make Donald Trump look bad.
Refusing to increase funding for the IRS because that might force rich people to pay the taxes they actually owe.
Claiming without evidence that the NSA is spying on Tucker Carlson.
Whining that Facebook hates them, despite voluminous evidence to the contrary.
Declining to persuade their fellow conservatives to get vaccinated.
Passing laws that allow Republicans to replace election officials who are insufficiently loyal to the party
.Complaining endlessly about critical race theory, despite the fact that they still haven't produced much evidence about how racism is actually taught in American classrooms.
Pretending to negotiate over infrastructure funding.
Missing from this list is anything aimed at actually making the country any better off than it is now. It's all just political theater. I hope they're proud of themselves.
Biden Warns Putin to Act Against Ransomware July 10, 2021 at 7:44 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 7 Comments “President Biden warned President Vladimir Putin of Russia on Friday that time was running out for him to rein in the ransomware groups striking the United States, telegraphing that this could be Mr. Putin’s final chance to take action on Russia’s harboring of cybercriminals before the United States moved to dismantle the threat,” the New York Times reports.
“In Mr. Biden’s starkest warning yet, he conveyed in a phone call to Mr. Putin that the attacks would no longer be treated only as criminal acts, but as national security threats — and thus may provoke a far more severe response… It is a rationale that has echoes of the legal justification used by the United States and other nations when they cross inside another country’s borders to rout terrorist groups or drug cartels.”
QUICK! QUICK! HIDE YOUR BIBLES!!! GOP Lawmaker Says Vaccine Drive Is Part of Biden Plot July 9, 2021 at 11:08 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) said that the Biden administration’s immunization drive sounded more to him like a plot to begin confiscating firearms and doing away with religion.
Said Cawthorn: “Now they’re talking about going door-to-door to bring vaccines to the people. Think of the mechanisms they would have to build to be able to actually execute that massive of a thing. Think about what those mechanisms could be used for. They could then go door-to-door to take your guns, to take your Bibles.”
Trump Split Up Migrant Families Earlier Than Thought July 10, 2021 at 7:16 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 29 Comments “The Trump administration began separating migrant families along a remote stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border months earlier than has been previously reported — part of a little known program coming into view only now as the Biden administration examines government data,” the Washington Post reports.
Texas Democrats Weigh Options for Blocking Voting Bill July 10, 2021 at 7:13 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 18 Comments “As Texas Republicans prepare to force votes next week on far-reaching legislation that would introduce new restrictions on voting, Democrats are left facing a gnawing question: Should they fight or flee?,” the New York Times reports.
“The issue dominated internal discussions on video calls among Democrats in the Texas Legislature this week as lawmakers began a special session, with an aggressive group of progressive members pushing for a repeat of the dramatic late-night walkout that ended the regular session in late May. The walkout denied Republicans a quorum and blocked a vote on the elections bill in the final hours.
“But a more cautious coterie of Democrats, many of whom hold powerful leadership positions, have argued for staying and fighting the bill on procedural grounds.”
Biden Fires Head of Social Security July 9, 2021 at 11:06 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard 43 Comments “President Biden on Friday fired Social Security Commissioner Andrew Saul, a holdover from the Trump administration who had alienated crucial Democratic constituencies with policies designed to clamp down benefits and an uncompromising anti-union stance,” the Washington Post reports.
“Saul was fired after refusing a request to resign.”
Biden is Being Pushed to Extend Student Loan Relief July 9, 2021 at 8:00 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard 79 Comments Politico: “Administration voices join a growing chorus of top congressional Democrats and advocacy groups pushing the White House to continue pandemic benefits for more than 40 million student loan borrowers. The White House has not yet made a final decision.
“But Education Department officials have suggested to the White House that the administration extend loan relief one final time, through the end of January.”

Virginia Republicans Demand Probe of Larry Sabato The Virginia Republican Party demanded an ethics investigation into the University of Virginia election forecaster Larry Sabato over his tweets that they say display “bitter partisanship” in favor of Democrats, the Washington Times reports.

A Confederate monument that helped spark a violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, was hoisted off its stone pedestal on Saturday morning. The removal of the statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee statue follows years of contention, community anguish and legal fights.
A push for removal bubbled up in 2016. The monument then became a rallying cry for white supremacists and other racist groups, culminating in the deadly 2017 "Unite the Right" rally in which peaceful counterprotester Heather Heyer was killed.
Charlottesville Mayor Nikuyah Walker gave a speech in front of reporters and observers as the crane neared the monument on Saturday.
"Taking down this statue is one small step closer to the goal of helping Charlottesville, Virginia, and America, grapple with the sin of being willing to destroy Black people for economic gain," Walker said.
Patriotic Americans are enemies of the state because Antifa and BLM say so! (fanatical devotion to the woke)
Aristotle warned that "republics decline into democracies and democracies degenerate into despotisms." The U.S. government seems intent on proving that observation true. A legislature can trample a people's rights just as easily as can a king, especially when it has learned to hide its despotism behind deceptive language. "Social justice" sure is a nice way of saying some people must be punished for the color of their skin, and "racial equity" (the government's decree that powerless proles, regardless of talents or work ethic, should be rewarded identically) and "carbon neutrality" (the government's mechanism for controlling all free-market action by first controlling all sources of energy) sound pretty good for commie claptrap dressed up in hipper clothes. All within the state, nothing outside the state? Workers of the world, unite? Black lives matter? Build back better? Like some awful Trojan horse that gets a new paint job every generation, history's tyrants find new magic words they can use to entice free people to subjugate themselves. It's always the same junk, just a newer jingle.
It seems like yesterday that Americans naturally fought government overreach, had a general love for freedom and an abhorrence toward the police states of China and Soviet Russia, and understood that freely expressed speech was a deal-breaker that separated the two systems. Now we have a Maoist mainstream media establishment that cheerleads for Communist China while actively arguing for regulated speech here at home and an army of pop culture blowhards who spend all day long begging the government to criminalize words and redistribute wealth in the name of "fairness." (Does anyone want to tell LeBron James that in the "equitable" system, which both China and our American authoritarians use him to promote, his money eventually becomes their money?)
At the G-7 summit in Cornwall, during which Biden and the other defenders of the "neoliberal order" positioned the United States and Europe against the growing power of Russia and China, they did so by framing the global contest as one between "democracies" and the "threat of authoritarianism." That's a pretty difficult distinction to make for anybody living in the West during this time of COVID-induced hysteria and total government control over every aspect of an individual's life and livelihood. Sure, authoritarianism from China is a stark threat to human freedom, but the threats of growing authoritarianism in Europe, Canada, and the U.S. are no less threatening. The fact that G-7 leaders don't appreciate how their own increasing despotism has watered down their claim on the "free world" does not bode well for the wars to come. Fighting for freedom abroad while it disintegrates at home doesn't make much sense. And fighting for the preservation of "American values" when those values have been repeatedly demonized by our out-to-lunch woke rulers makes no sense at all.
Now that the U.S. military has decided that "global warming" is America's biggest threat and racial Marxism (AKA "Critical Race Theory) is America's newest creed, the United States government has betrayed all who died in the name of preserving American freedoms. Why on Earth did we sacrifice so many young men on the beachheads and battlefields of Europe to fight Nazism's dogma of racial supremacy only to be ruled by woke-whisperers who find America itself irredeemably racist? Why did we have to lose so many soldiers fighting the communists in Korea and Vietnam and throughout Central and South America only to discover that "progress" requires America to go full-tilt commie?
I want those lives back. I want the children who were never born and the families that never came to be because young Americans were sent all over the world to lay down their lives in the hope that strangers from foreign lands might taste freedom, too. If soldiers knew then what they would know now — that the American government deems them "domestic extremists" for waving Old Glory from the beds of their trucks or defending the Bill of Rights on social media — surely they'd have had second thoughts before stepping off those landing crafts or disappearing into tropical jungles to fight the same enemies that have ended up taking over America anyway.
Maybe if all those children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren hadn't been lost to history because their family lines ended in the mud and blood of foreign fields, enough Americans still committed to individual freedom would be alive today to fight back against the Marxist hordes who call D.C. home.
Regardless, treating Americans as enemies and then expecting them to defend their nation from peril is a losing proposition. Monty Python, as always, got it right: "There are a great many people in the country today who, through no fault of their own, are sane."

HELSINKI (Reuters) - A stifling and persistent heatwave is sending Finns flocking to beaches and emptying stores of air conditioners, replicating extreme climatic conditions at similar latitudes across the Atlantic, where record temperatures have killed hundreds.
On Monday, a northern Finnish weather station recorded 33.5 degrees Celsius, the second highest ever in Lapland, and the average June temperature in Helsinki was the hottest since records began in 1844, according https://en.ilmatieteenlaitos.fi/press-release/5vByjewgsYT1lbvgSv2FQ6 to the Finnish meteorological institute.
"This is the result of a lengthy and resilient high-pressure area that has gotten stuck," Mika Rantanen, an extreme weather researcher at the institute, told Reuters of a phenomenon that has also spread across the Baltic states and Russia's St Petersburg region.
Judge blasts DC jail for not allowing Capitol riot defendant access to evidence
CNN — A federal judge blasted the DC jail Thursday for failing to get evidence to a Capitol riot defendant who has been in jail since January.
“I can’t allow someone to sit in prison for this long without access to material,” Judge Randolph Moss said at a hearing, calling the delay “utterly unacceptable” and “not consistent with due process.”
Pro-Trump supporters storm the U.S. Capitol following a rally with President Donald Trump on January 6, 2021 in Washington, DC. Trump supporters gathered in the nation's capital today to protest the ratification of President-elect Joe Biden's Electoral College victory over President Trump in the 2020 election. RELATED ARTICLE DOJ charges 5 Floridians accused of attacking 7 police officers during Capitol insurrection The defendant, Jorden Mink, was indicted on 10 federal charges, including theft and destruction of government property. He pleaded not guilty and has been in jail since his arrest in January. Mink is accused of using a baseball bat to smash Capitol windows and then passing furniture through those windows to the pro-Trump crowd outside.
Neither the Justice Department nor Mink’s defense lawyer has been able to provide him with the evidence that the government has gathered in his case. Defendants have constitutional due process rights to examine all the evidence, and prosecutors have a legal obligation to turn over these “discovery” materials in a timely fashion.
Mink’s case is the latest example of Capitol riot defendants having difficulty accessing evidence against them. For months, prosecutors have pointed to the historic size of the insurrection investigation as the reason for the delays. Recently, some judges have criticized both the Justice Department and the DC jail delays, and have pressed prosecutors to expedite the process.
Prosecutors said at Thursday’s hearing that they had given the evidence to the DC jail in May and they didn’t know why Mink hasn’t been able to access any of the documents. Prosecutors also said that they have offered Mink a plea deal, but without access to any evidence he cannot decide whether he will accept it or proceed with a trial.
The judge ordered that prosecutors coordinate with the jail to grant Mink access to the documents by the end of the day, and suggested that if Mink did not get access soon he would reconsider Mink’s detention. https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/08/politics/judge-blasts-dc-jail-capitol-riot/index.html
doesn't even mention the 14,000 hours of tapes, of course this is CNN in Washington DC. But even they are starting to realize people are not being treated fairly. And supplying only partial material is a crime itself.

Anyone Who Believes Jan. 6 Was an ‘Insurrection’ is An Idiot
There should be limits to how much stupidity the American people have to endure from the Democrat Party. Their ongoing obsession with the rowdy crowd of January 6th has crossed over into the pathological. Pelosi and her clownish minions in Congress don’t need a “Select Committee” to investigate, they need heavy doses of anxiety medication.
It was riot, libs. You usually love those. Calm down.
This past week marked what Democrat legacy media claimed was the “sixth month anniversary” of the January 6th “insurrection.” Are they toddlers? Do they mark their half birthdays too? An anniversary is something that happens yearly.
But the lib journos are apparently so desperate to distract from inflation, soaring gas prices, and Biden’s mediocre mumblings that they will invent reasons to take the news cycle back to January. Anything is better than letting the public see another Kamala interview on ABC.
Speaking of which, perhaps you’ve seen some of the world’s dumbest pundits (Dowd of ABC, Schmidt of MSNBC) making the rounds on tv in the past few days to claim that January 6th was worse than 9/11? Yes, that happened, twice. If you offered $1000 to a random person on the street to come up with something more viciously moronic to say, your money would be safe.
What’s even more troubling is that this maniacal propaganda is working well with the triple-masked, soy milk drinking beta males who think that MSNBC is news and Fauci is really smart. According to a recent PBS poll, 2 out of 3 Americans think our democracy is “at risk.”
OK, what exactly was the big plan for the “insurrection” anyway? Only unserious people use that term seriously. Using Democrat standards, it was a “mostly peaceful protest” that got out of hand.
The violent overthrow of a government probably would take more than bear spray and fire extinguishers. The most ominous weapon that any of the Jan. 6 organizers seemed to have was Q Anon Shaman’s spear, with flag attached. While his furry hat may be intimidating to people of Jerry Nadler’s stature and courage, nobody really believes that he was going to be able to take on the Capitol Hill Police, dozens of law enforcement agencies, and the National Guard with a stone age weapon and some face paint.
But Q Anon Shaman- real name Jacob Anthony Chansley- has been in prison in solitary confinement for six months because a judge continues to pretend that he really believes there was an imminent ‘threat to our democracy’ on January 6th. This is Stasi-level police state tyranny.
This jaw-dropping and malicious exaggeration of Jan. 6 is weaponized now for the most underhanded purpose. The authoritarian Left is pretending to believe a coup attempt took place in order to justify the ongoing suppression of those they claim could be behind a future coup. To save our village, America, the Left is willing to burn it down.
Speaking of which, whatever you do, don’t ask about the hundreds of riots they cheered on in the name of BLM in 2020. Those were fine, even “public health authorities” during the lockdown approved. Democrats are certain that sometimes you have to loot some innocent bystander businesses to prove your point about systemic police violence and stick it to the “carceral state.”
Just remember: The libs who constantly parade their tears on social media about the imminent “death of our democracy” are the ones smothering its face with a pillow in the hospital while CNN drones on in the background. And they think they’re brave for doing it. https://bucksexton.com/2021/07/anyone-who-believes-jan-6-was-an-insurrection-is-an-idiot/

Heavy machinery hoisted the statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee from its stone pedestal in Charlottesville, Virginia, around 8 a.m. Saturday morning, AP reports.
The big picture: The removal comes four years after the 2017 "Unite the Right" white supremacist rally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, when hundreds of alt-right supporters gathered carrying torches and signs that read "white lives matter." The rally then started because protestors opposed the city's decision to get rid of the monument.
The rally left 32-year-old protester Heather Heyer dead.City officials announced plans to remove the statue on Friday.
Details: Another Confederate statue, one of of Gen. Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson, is also set to be taken down, AP notes.
Of note: The stone pedestals will be taken down and taken to a secure location until the Charlottesville City Council decides what should be done with them.
What they're saying: "Taking down this statue is one small step closer to the goal of helping Charlottesville, Virginia, and America, grapple with the sin of being willing to destroy Black people for economic gain," Charlottesville Mayor Nikuyah Walker said in a speech when the removal process started, per AP.
"This is well overdue," Zyahna Bryant, a student who in 2016 started the push to remove confederate statues from the city."No platform for racism. No platform for hate," Bryant added.

Based On LEGO Evidence, FBI Believes Capitol Rioter Was Also Planning Attack On Hogwarts Castle
Lego is racist as it has many red, whit and blue pieces but very few brown, black and yellow.
Of course it was created by those racist white Europeans.

Feds: Glenshaw man charged in Jan. 6 riot had Lego model of Capitol, militia notes
Tom Davidson, The Tribune-Review, Greensburg
Thu, July 8, 2021, 1:05 PM·3 min read

The Democrats know that they have to get out in huge numbers to save the country from Trump and the current Republican party.

But feel free to correct me with the link to the video showing her climbing through a broken window you say you have.
And how about all the other points I made ?
Especially why not release all the video. If a policeman shot someone and had body-cam video and the police refused to release it what would you say. What have you said ?

When President Biden recently announced a deal with 130 countries to combat tax avoidance by multinational corporations, you probably didn’t connect the news to the poisonous impact that Donald Trump continues to wield over our politics.
Vance, who’s running for Senate in Ohio, calls for higher taxes on multinationals, while declaring that global capitalism has been very good to the “elites and the ruling class” who “have plundered this country.”
International tax avoidance does typify many degradations associated with globalization. As Gabriel Zucman and his colleagues note, “international capital mobility and profit shifting” has turned multinationals into some of “the biggest winners of globalization.”
-------
Trump probably would have withdrawn from NATO because he is ignorant about it.
Prior to the Pearl Harbor attacks a majority of Republicans were isolationist.
Both parties fought the cold war until the end of the Soviet Union. Trump would have been the most dangerous isolationist in history.
How a hidden Biden victory could deal a big blow to Trumpian nationalism

The security fence that currently surrounds Capitol grounds due to the pro-Trump insurrection on Jan. 6 is slated to begin coming down on Friday, more than six months after the mob attacked the building.
House Sergeant at Arms William Walker sent a memo to members of Congress earlier this week informing them that the Capitol Police Board had approved the fence’s removal per the recommendation of the U.S. Capitol Police (USCP).
The process is expected to take three days, according to the memo. Meanwhile, “current building access restrictions will remain in place.”

4F-Alky posts on economics are purely sophomoric.
You change id's not me 4F-Alky.
According to economic data.
A Black with the same income as a white has less networth.
Blacks vote almost exclusively for Democrats and are poor.
"A Politico-Harvard poll revealed on Friday that a majority of Democrats believe the Chinese coronavirus originated from a lab in China.
“The new survey shows 52 percent believe the virus came out of a lab, including 59 percent of Republicans and 52 percent of Democrats, while 28 percent said it was from an infected animal,” the survey states"

White Evangelicals Not Okay Becoming a Subculture

Said pollster Robert Jones: “It’s hard to overstate the strength of this feeling, among white evangelicals in particular, of America being a white Christian country. This sense of ownership of America just runs so deep in white evangelical circles The feeling that it’s slipping away has created an atmosphere of rage, resentment and paranoia.”

"Capitalism without competition isn’t capitalism. It's exploitation," Biden said in a signing ceremony at the White House.
Among the industries that the order targets are health care, agriculture, transportation, internet service providers and tech companies.

MORE FROM WAYNE DUPREE
I was online this morning perusing the internet, looking for interesting things to share with you, when I happened upon a Twitter thread that really blew me away.
TIRED OF THE ADS? BECOME A PREMIUM USER TODAY!!
It’s a thread about why so many Americans think the 2020 election is a sham – but it was done in such a deep, detailed, and thoughtful way that really hit at the very SOUL of why people don’t trust that election, that it actually hit me in an emotional way – it was that well done.
MORE NEWS: Actress Megan Fox Insists On Sending 8-year-Old Son to School in a Dress Even Though He’s “Viciously Bullied”
This explanation brilliantly vindicates and validates every single American who has questions and doubts about the 2020 election. Beautifully done.
So, without further ado, here’s the best explanation you’ll ever read on why so many Americans believe the 2020 election was a sham:
Putin took Action.
Biden didn't, his ice cream melted.
Biden didn't, his ice cream melted.
This is perfect.
"Russia didn't even need to attack our infrastructure.
Joe did it for him."

1901, President Theodore Roosevelt, in a 20,000-word State of the Union message to Congress, called on lawmakers to curb the power of trusts.

Justice Department says Trump's reinstatement talk could fuel more violence from his supporters
By Marshall Cohen, CNN
Jul 9, 2021
(CNN) - The Justice Department said this week that former President Donald Trump's delusional claims that he'll be reinstated to the White House could fuel more political violence from his supporters.
Trump and some of his allies on the right-wing fringe have pushed the ridiculous theory that he could be reinstated as president next month. There is no legal or constitutional mechanism for that to happen, and Trump's claims of a "stolen" 2020 election have been fully debunked.
Federal prosecutors brought up Trump's rhetoric this week in one of the US Capitol riot cases.
The rioter, Marine Corps veteran Alex Harkrider, asked a judge to discontinue his GPS tracking and remove his ankle monitor. The Justice Department opposes this request, saying Trump's rhetoric could inspire Harkrider to become violent in the future. Harkrider has pleaded not guilty.
"Former President Trump continues to make false claims about the election, insinuate that he may be reinstalled in the near future as President without another election, and minimize the violent attack on the Capitol," prosecutors wrote in the filing. "Television networks continue to carry and report on those claims, with some actually giving credence to the false reporting."
Prosecutors continued, linking Trump's rhetoric to the Capitol rioter's case: "The defendant in this case is not a good candidate to be out in the community without electronic monitoring to ensure the safety of the community and the safety of democracy in the current environment."
This isn't the first time Trump's post-presidency lying about the 2020 election became an issue for some of his ardent supporters who were charged in connection with the Capitol insurrection.
Earlier this spring, federal judges and prosecutors cited Trump's rhetoric during detention hearings for some of the Capitol rioters. Judges and prosecutors alike were concerned that Trump's words could once again incite political violence.
And last month, the Department of Homeland Security issued a warning that Trump's "reinstatement" fantasies could lead to more violence this summer from right-wing extremists.
Trump's language made it more difficult for some of his supporters to argue that they could safely be released from jail before trial.
In the Harkrider case, prosecutors say he tried to "obstruct the historically peaceful transition of power and overthrow the government" on January 6. He brought a tomahawk ax to the Capitol that day -- his lawyers claimed it was only for self-protection from Black Lives Matter and Antifa.
He asked the judge to remove his GPS tracking. His lawyer says he's paying a monthly fee of $110 for the monitoring, which is difficult because he "lives on a small pension from the Government, which he receives for his total disability" from his military service. He was a lance corporal in the Marines and served in Iraq and Afghanistan before exiting the military in 2012.
"This is a financial, emotional and physical hardship for Mr. Harkrider," his lawyer wrote.
As of Friday morning, federal Judge Thomas Hogan hasn't issued a decision about the GPS monitoring. He released Harkrider from jail in April after he spent three months behind bars.

Demented Donny Trump syndrome !
Pence had one of the toughest jobs ever.
The Republicans did not realized is that “Sleepy Joe’s" discreet strategy did more than just avoid harm to the Democrats. It also set a trap for Trump’s supporters

With leaders like Jowls......no wonder why the GOP is losing massive numbers of voters but still retains the idiots that think trump won!!!!!!!

Opinions | Donald Trump has blurred the line between populism and fascism in a dangerous way
Federico Finchelstein
© Alex Brandon/APPresident Trump shakes hands before a dinner with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro at Mar-a-Lago in March 2020.(two similar fascists)

Biden Warns Putin to Act Against Ransomware
July 10, 2021 at 7:44 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 7 Comments
“President Biden warned President Vladimir Putin of Russia on Friday that time was running out for him to rein in the ransomware groups striking the United States, telegraphing that this could be Mr.

Texas Democrats Weigh Options for Blocking Voting Bill
July 10, 2021 at 7:13 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 18 Comments
“As Texas Republicans prepare to force votes next week on far-reaching legislation that would introduce new restrictions on voting, Democrats are left facing a gnawing question: Should they fight or flee?,” the New York Times reports.
“But a more cautious coterie of Democrats, many of whom hold powerful leadership positions, have argued for staying and fighting the bill on procedural grounds.”

demanded an ethics investigation into the University of Virginia election forecaster Larry Sabato over his tweets that they say display “bitter partisanship” in favor of Democrats, the Washington Times reports.
Responded Sabato on Twitter:
“Thanks to the Republicans for the hearty laugh you’ve given me. There goes my reserved seat at your next insurrection. Oh well.”

The White House is handling the sale of Hunter's artwork as ethically as it can. Biden will not know the names of buyers or what they paid."
Nonsense, only a fool believes that.
The "buyers" are buying influance, not "art" of a grifter.
Bidenomics sucks 🇨🇳
Rubber shortage.
The shortages mount.

We have video of her attempting to climb in.
I can only imagine the fallout occurring if Ashely Babbitt was a BLM activist. So now the news is you can shoot someone for breaking and entering. Good thing to know.
Yeah, while a string of heavily armed Capitol police were within feet of her, both in front and behind...
She was definitely not an imminent threat and was unarmed
and not reaching for a weapon
but she was white
apparently shot by a BLM activist
though Nancy and gang refuse to release tapes and the identity
or explain why she refused additional security for a crowd she knew was upset and large.

The current Republican party is reminiscent of The John Birch Society.
They said that President Eisenhower was a puppet of the Communist party. He lead the allies to defeat Adolf Hitler, but he was just a puppet.
They are using the exact same rhetoric.

DOJ charges 5 Floridians accused of attacking 7 police officers during Capitol insurrection
The defendant, Jorden Mink, was indicted on 10 federal charges, including theft and destruction of government property.
The judge ordered that prosecutors coordinate with the jail to grant Mink access to the documents by the end of the day, and suggested that if Mink did not get access soon he would reconsider Mink’s detention.

doesn't even mention the 14,000 hours of tapes, of course this is CNN in Washington DC. But even they are starting to realize people are not being treated fairly. And supplying only partial material is a crime itself.
These hearings and detentions really should occur in the defendants home towns and not in a 96% democrat town who see everything as by their political god.
The DC judge should just throw the key into the potomac as these traitors and anti democracy cretins are sub human pieces of shit, just like you daddy!!!

Heatwave sends people to the beach in California
Fri, July 9, 2021, 5:37 PM
(Reuters) - Western states are bracing for more scorching weather this weekend after the hottest month of June on record in the United States killed scores of people, strained electric grids and depleted reservoirs.
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for much of the West through Monday evening, predicting "dangerously hot conditions" including temperatures up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit (54 degrees Celsius) in Death Valley, California.
Temperatures are expected to soar above 100 degrees F (40 degrees C) in multiple states.
"Long standing record high temperature values are likely to be rivaled or broken," the weather service said, warning of the elevated risk of heat-related illnesses.

Hunter the Artist
'The whole thing is a really bad idea,' ethics expert Richard Painter told the Washington Post, which revealed new details of the arrangement.
'So instead of disclosing who is paying outrageous sums for Hunter Biden’s artwork so that we could monitor whether the purchasers are gaining access to government, the WH tried to make sure we will never know who they are. That’s very disappointing,' tweeted ethics expert Walter Shaub.
'The idea’s that even Hunter won’t know, but the WH has outsourced government ethics to a private art dealer. We’re supposed to trust a merchant in an industry that’s fertile ground for money laundering, as well as unknown buyers who could tell Hunter or WH officials? No thanks,' the former director of the Office of Government Ethics in the Obama administration added.
