Joe had a foolproof plan to stop the Taliban in their tracks!

BREAKING: Troops Sent to Help Evacuate US Embassy in Afghanistan; Joe Biden's Words Come Back to Haunt Him
As I type this, US forces are on the way to evacuate the embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. The country is crumbling as the Taliban advance, with the fundamentalist group taking over at least ten provinces at this point, murdering and pillaging along the way.
What’s happening on the ground today stands in stark contrast to Joe Biden’s pronouncement of confidence just weeks ago. He not only expressed belief in the Afghan military despite the lacking evidence they were up to the job, but he also assured the American people that there would be no evacuation of the embassy as there was in Vietnam.
Though I’ve seen some suggest it, there is essentially no going back at this point. To retake the parts of the country that the Taliban have taken in just days’ time would require a major offensive fueled by a reinfusion of troops and war materials. That’s simply not going to happen as there is no appetite for it. What’s done is done, and Biden owns the consequences and carnage that promise to continue.

So it sounds like Slow Joe's plan in Afghanistan was almost as good as his plan to stop Covid. Apparently both rely on a hope and a prayer! Just like Joe was going to stop Covid, Joe assured us that the Afghanistan military would be able to hold off the Taliban. He also suggested that our embassy or other Americans left behind would not be in danger.

Just like he was wrong about Covid by about 225K dead since he took office, he appears to have been equally wrong about Afghanistan. At least he was right about whether or not there would be inflation? Or was it inflation was transitionary? Or what was it now?

I guess Dementia Joe has only been in office a few months. I am sure he will get something right before he is done. Whenever that might be!

With the Taliban making rapid advances across Afghanistan, the White House tried a new tack on Wednesday as it defended President Biden's decision to withdraw U.S. troops: Appeal to the Taliban's better nature.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki said there was no getting away from the fact that Afghan government forces were struggling, but added:'The Taliban also has to make an assessment about what they want their role to be in the international community.'

It was part of a strategy designed to nudge them to the negotiating table.

But the immediate impact at home was a wave of ridicule.

'Psaki won't be able to tempt them to civility with a seat on the Human Rights Council or expect them to show up to a global warming get-together with Greta Thunberg,' said Jim Carafano, national security expert at the Heritage Foundation.

'This is an administration acting like a deer in the headlights on this issue.'

I was against an endless war in Afghanistan and still against it.
The problem for the US military is that when they stray from the original mission into nation building they always lose.

Because the society you are dealing with does not have a liberal western civilization democratic values.
Therefore, government is often corrupt and the first free election is usually the last.
That is especially true of Muslim societies that are often tribal where individualism and equality is discourage by religious and secular authorities.

Islam is incompatible with liberal democratic values.

The Sleepy Joe Biden bullshit.

I suspect that Trump would have withdrawn from Afghanistan too.

You aren't quite old enough to remember when we withdrew from Vietnam. I distinctly remember when the helicopters were flying from the embassy. In fact I know several friends who escaped from Vietnam at the same time.

George W Bush got us into two wars. Iraq is somewhat stable.

But you don't realize that Afghanistan has been in a civil war for 40 years now.

When the Russians withdrew, it was the first step to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

What would you have done???

But again it's just fucking political bullshit.

No matter who or when we we had withdrawn from our longest war in history, it would have gone the same way.

The vast majority of Americans say surging grocery and household goods prices are causing them financial hardship and nearly 80 percent blame the Biden administration’s economic policies, a new poll says.

About 70 percent of Americans say the national economy is in bad shape, and the majority — 86 percent — are concerned about inflation, according to the Fox News poll released Wednesday.

The Republican Party. Civiqs still shows 40% of Republicans saying that they will refuse the vaccine, in spite of everything that’s happened. There may have been a few stories of increased vaccine demand, and that’s great, but at current vaccination rates the U.S. wouldn’t reach the levels currently seen in the U.K. or Israel for another six months, and both of those nations still had waves of COVID-19 with the appearance of the delta variant. If the U.S. is going to reach herd immunity against the R0 5+ delta variant, it’s almost certainly going to do it the hard way: the illness way. The death way.

But those 40% of Republicans aren’t just the vaccine holdouts, they’re the core of the party—the most dedicated extremists in a party that’s become all about going to extremes. Ron DeSantis, Greg Abbott, and Kristi Noem are all sacrificing the lives of their state’s citizens on the altar of Trumpism, exactly because they all think they are great candidates to assume the mantle in 2024.

Reasonableness in governance has become an inverse indicator of ambition in the GOP. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey may say that it’s “time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks.” Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson may admit to being sorry he banned mask mandates in his state, but Abbott, DeSantis, and Noem will never be caught saying anything so responsible. Because they see being the worst person as their best ticket to winning Republican primaries.

And they’re not going to let something like the lives of children get in their way.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is fundraising by selling T-shirts emblazoned with the word "moron" to protest mask mandates while swiping at Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

In late July, Pelosi called McCarthy "such a moron" for opposing the return of a mask mandate in the House, which was put in place due a rise in infections from the delta variant of the coronavirus.

Arnold Schwarzenegger: You’re an ‘absolute moron’ if you make masks political
Brian Niemietz, New York Daily News
Arnold Schwarzenegger still makes time to let the dumbbells know who’s boss. He also may have lost some fans with an offhand comment about “freedom,” saying only a “moron” or “schmuck” would make taking protective measures against coronavirus political.

The actor and former California governor urged anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers to put the country first during a Wednesday CNN appearance, as COVID-19 continues its deadly spread. He stressed that with freedom comes responsibility.

“There is a virus, here,” the 74-year-old bodybuilder said. “It kills people.”

The “Terminator” star was joined by whistleblower and former colonel Alexander Vindman, whom he praised as “my hero” for testifying in former president Donald Trump’s first impeachment hearing. Schwarzenegger called on all Americans to vax, mask, social distance and not view those protective measures as a personal threat.

“‘Well my freedom is being kind of disturbed here,’” Schwarzenegger said, impersonating anti-vaxxer excuses. “Screw ‘your’ freedom. Because with freedom comes implications and responsibilities.”

While he said people are free not to wear masks, he also said, “You’re a schmuck for not wearing a mask because you are supposed to protect your fellow Americans around you.”

According to Schwarzenegger, much like the way he dedicated his life to building muscles, medical experts like NIAIA director Anthony Fauci have committed themselves to virology and should be taken seriously. He also made the analogy that a stoplight is a temporary restriction of personal freedom, but blowing through one to make a political statement isn’t very smart. Same goes for wearing a mask, says Schwarzenegger, who served as California’s governor from 2003 to 2011 as a Republican.

“Anyone making it a political issue is an absolute moron who can’t read,” he said.

Schwarzenegger, throughout the discussion, talked about the importance of bringing the divided nation together, which he punctuated by saying, “the key thing now is how do we stay, as America, internationally competitive.”

He also warned that America’s rival nations are “not asleep” and will continue moving forward aggressively, even if the U.S. allows itself to be slowed by political infighting.

Schwarzenegger’s tough talk annoyed many subscribers to his YouTube channel, many of whom weighed in to say they were upset about his “screw your freedom” comment.

“He get the money and fame. He can buy what he want. Now he supports to take away the peoples freedom,” wrote one critic. “Without verified evidence and fact... He should have his freedom taken.”

Another commenter called the interview, “How to destroy your fan base 101.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — The number of Americans seeking unemployment benefits fell for a third straight time last week, the latest sign that employers are laying off fewer people as they struggle to fill a record number of open jobs and meet a surge in consumer demand.

Thursday’s report from the Labor Department showed that jobless claims fell to 375,000 from 387,000 the previous week. The number of applications has fallen steadily since topping 900,000 in early January as the economy has increasingly reopened in the aftermath of the pandemic recession.

"Neither of them have done anything for us," they told him. "Neither of them care for us, and we don't care for either of them."

And now when American troops are gone, the public will be reminding the Taliban that they've been saying all along that their sole purpose was to get foreign troops out of the country.

"With the foreign troops gone, what excuse will you have to keep killing Afghanis?" they will be asking the Taliban.

Higher vaccination rates in Texas and Florida could've saved 4,700 lives, study finds

Epidemiologists used hospitalization rates from highly vaccinated states like Connecticut and Vermont to calculate excess deaths in Texas and Florida.

By Tim Fitzsimons

More than 4,700 lives lost to Covid-19 in Florida and Texas could have been saved if those states had higher vaccination rates, according to a study released on Thursday.

The study from the Commonwealth Fund, a private health care endowment, was conducted by an international team of epidemiologists and data scientists. The analysis compared the Covid hospitalization and death rates of a group of states like Vermont and Connecticut, which had fully vaccinated roughly 3 in 4 adults on average, with those of Florida and Texas, where roughly 1 in 2 adults are fully vaccinated.

Houston hospitals need more staff as number of Covid patients grows

"Outbreaks are predominantly affecting states that have relatively low vaccination coverage, with nearly a third of recent cases occurring in Florida and Texas," the researchers wrote, warning that the highly infectious delta variant would only worsen matters.

The estimated toll: Higher vaccination rates in these two states could have prevented more than 70,000 hospitalizations and 4,700 deaths by the end of July.

"We found that enhanced vaccination would have markedly curbed the rise of cases in Florida and Texas — averting more than 460,000 cases. Since the start of vaccination on Dec. 12, 2020, until July 31, 2021, Florida and Texas have reported more than 1.5 million and 1.7 million cases, respectively," the researchers wrote. "Achieving 74 percent vaccination coverage by July 31, 2021, could have reduced the case count to approximately 1.3 million cases in Florida and 1.5 million cases in Texas."

The study said more than 7 million Florida residents and 9 million Texas residents who are eligible for the vaccination remain unvaccinated, and many of them are in danger.

"If estimates through the end of July hold true, many of these people will suffer through hospitalizations, and some will likely die — making more rigorous vaccination campaigns in those states all the more imperative," they concluded.

Pratha Sah, a Yale researcher who contributed to the study, told NBC News in a statement "the U.S. has entered another wave of COVID-19 pandemic driven by the Delta variant."

CORONAVIRUSA Florida woman gave birth while battling Covid-19. She died days later.

"The vaccines authorized in the US are effective at preventing severe disease and hospitalizations against the Delta variant. It is therefore not surprising that there is a clear correlation between vaccination coverage and viral transmission level across the states in the US," Sah wrote.

"Accelerating vaccination coverage is critical to combat the current COVID-19 wave driven by the Delta variant and potentially other looming variants in the future," she continued.

As cases surge across the country, experts told NBC News this delta-variant-driven rise was "completely preventable" and warned it will get worse before it gets better, with the return of long testing lines and dwindling intensive care unit beds in hard-hit Southern states.

In Florida, amid heated debate over requiring masks for children as classes are set to resume within days, the federal government this week sent hundreds of ventilators to help the state respond to its record number of Covid hospitalizations.

KABUL, Afghanistan — Three major cities in western and southern Afghanistan were confirmed on Friday to have fallen to the Taliban, as the insurgents’ race to take control of the country accelerated.

The Taliban seized Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand Province, on Friday morning after a weekslong battle that left parts of the city in ruins, hospitals filled with the wounded and dying, and residents asking what would come next under their new rulers. Hours earlier, the insurgents had captured Herat, a cultural hub in the west, and Kandahar, the country’s second-largest city, where the Taliban first proclaimed their so-called emirate in the 1990s.

The speed of the cities’ collapse, combined with American officials’ announcement Thursday that they would evacuate most of the United States Embassy, has deepened the sense of panic across the country as thousands try to flee from the Taliban advance.

Only three major Afghan cities — including the capital, Kabul — remain under government control, and one is under siege by the Taliban. With the collapse of both Lashkar Gah and Kandahar, the Taliban now effectively control southern Afghanistan, a powerful symbol of their resurgence, just weeks before the United States is set to completely withdraw from the country.

Over the past week, the Taliban have taken one Afghan city after another in a rapid offensive that has left them well positioned to attack Kabul. The government’s forces appear close to a complete collapse. Some American officials fear that the Afghan government will not last another month.

Prediction of the next blame Biden a the evil Democratic party.

The fact remains that the January 6 riot was a riot, not an insurrection. Those who talked big beforehand — watch the New York Times video — were full of imaginary grandiosity. It goes around. They were unarmed. Their stunt got out of hand, fed by the fury of the crowd, the fecklessness of the police, and the finagling of the authorities who declined urgent requests for better security.

All of this was tragic — for Ashli Babbitt. It was tragi-comic for the nation, as a ragtag group of bizarre figures such as the QAnon Shaman and an oddball assortment of radicalized protesters blundered their way into the Capitol with no idea of the consequences, followed by tourists taking selfies.

But in this new stage, we have moved from drama to farce. The Democratic leadership is desperate to keep alive the fiction that America teetered on the edge of Civil War that day.

Convincing its loyalists that this story is fact rather than fable requires ever greater imposition. Hundreds of people connected — most in very minor ways — to the riot are languishing in jail, facing unknown charges and seemingly interminable detention. The result as I have written before is a growing sense among conservative populists that the rule of law has truly broken down. Their wrath is rising — which is the subject of my forthcoming book Wrath: Enraged America.

The irony is that the Democrats’ relentless exaggeration of what happened on January 6, 2021 might succeed in giving us the breakthrough realization of what happened on September 11, 2001. We will see that our leftist elite hates America and fears and despises that broad swath of the American people who reject their betters.

Correction, Aug. 12, 2021: An earlier version of this story overstated the number of children who have been hospitalized in Texas recently with COVID-19. The story said over 5,800 children had been hospitalized during a seven-day period in August, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That number correctly referred to children hospitalized with COVID-19 since the pandemic began. In actuality, 783 children were admitted to Texas hospitals with COVID-19 between July 1 and Aug. 9 of this year.

Good for him for telling the truth. But between this and the Larry Elder clip last night, every elected Republican in the country must be shivering at the prospect of having to confront this question at public events between now and their next primary. Claim that Trump was cheated and you’ll be attacked as a crank in the general election. Claim that Biden won fair and square and you’ll be attacked as a traitor in your primary, possibly by Trump himself.

This issue is going to eat GOP candidates alive. Trump could put a stop to it, but since he cares nothing for the party he’ll probably encourage it as the ultimate litmus test. Why should any righty who believes MAGA could have lost a popularity contest to Joe Biden be rewarded with a seat in Congress?

As for Crenshaw, I don’t understand his strategy towards “stop the steal.” He began last year by proving his loyalty when he joined the election lawsuit filed by Texas in December that would have thrown out the results in swing states won by Biden. But on January 6 he declined to join the majority of the GOP caucus when they objected to certifying Biden’s victory. Now he’s truthbombing QAnoners who are showing up to his events to claim that Trump was the true winner. Does Crenshaw not understand that passing one litmus test, the Texas lawsuit, isn’t enough? That you’re only as loyal as how you fared on your most recent one?

Did he maybe have a crisis of conscience after the Texas lawsuit that led him to stay away from any further “rigged election” shenanigans? He’s become the opposite of Nancy Mace, who also declined to object on January 6 but has spent every moment since then trying to atone for it by voting the way MAGA populists want. Mace understands that she can’t fail another litmus test. Crenshaw either thinks he can or doesn’t care enough anymore about holding his seat that he’s willing to lie to keep it.

Who can blame him given the miserable state of the party?

It’s been a hard month so far for election truthers. Yesterday a Trump-appointed federal judge refused to dismiss Dominion’s defamation complaints against Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, and others. Even if the defendants end up prevailing at trail, expenses will mount rapidly as they engage in discovery and prepare a defense. Meanwhile, last week an Arizona newspaper revealed that the head “Cyber Ninja” in charge of the Maricopa ballot audit there had confused 74,000 mail-in ballots with in-person early votes and that he had the records in his possession all along that could have proved it. The “missing” proof that those 74,000 supposed absentee voters had ever been mailed ballots wasn’t actually missing. It didn’t exist because they didn’t vote absentee, they voted in-person. He concocted a conspiracy theory out of nothing and revealed that he’s out of his depth in the process.

The hardest blow to “stop the steal” came last night, though:

The cyber expert on the “red team” hired by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell now says the key data underpinning the theory that China hacked the 2020 election unveiled at the Cyber Symposium is illegitimate.

Mr. Lindell said he had 37 terabytes of “irrefutable” evidence that hackers, who he said were backed by China, broke into election systems and switched votes in favor of President Biden. The proof, he said, is visible in intercepted network data or “packet captures” that were collected by hackers and could be unencrypted to reveal that a cyberattack occurred and that votes were switched.

But cyber expert Josh Merritt, who is on the team hired by Mr. Lindell to interrogate the data for the symposium, told The Washington Times that packet captures are unrecoverable in the data and that the data, as provided, cannot prove a cyber incursion by China.

They said there was no steal!!!

Still seeking a fact-based, data-driven, peer-reviewed, scientific study supporting mask mandates.

Haven't seen one yet.

In other news, Covid cases in Dukes County MA - Martha's Vineyard - are up over 2000%. Lord of the Flies - Skeets Hussein 0linsky just hosted a super-spreader event there.

Quite the coincidence, eh?

LOL.

Do as I say, not as I do... Masks for thee, but not for me.

As it is with global warming, I'll become concerned about Covid when those demanding I become concerned about Covid become concerned about Covid THEMSELVES.

Republicans are supporting parents in making the decision on whether their children wear face masks.

James seems to think that if there is not a fascist mandate to wear mask people won't where them.

Even though there is not credible scientific evidence that wearing mask stops the spread of COVID-19.

While there is credible scientific evidence that mask wearing long term harms children's development and socialization.

Adults should get the vaccine.

If only that were TRUE.

We are on track to admitting TWO MILLION illegal beaners. We're warehousing them under bridges for fucks sake. We may be sending some token beaners back to make it look good, but the majority remain, to suck off the American taxpayer and to infect Americans with Covid.

Just like good little democrat voters.

For some reason we're the only sovereign nation on the earth not allowed to hold secure elections or have secure borders. Because a permanent path to power is all that matters to democrats.

Every single one of us should be VERY concerned about Covid and the ramifications virulent forms of it are taking.

This is a global crisis wherein we should be practicing unity in America and doing every single thing that MIGHT even help, rather than joining up with a ridiculous political faction that has the goal of reinstating a man who stands no chance of reinstatement.

The "American Thinker" thinks the Supreme Court has been gaslighted by the deep state.

One must also ask whether the majority of the Supreme Court justices are just crooks? Are they taking bribes from Deep State operatives? Are they getting kickbacks or financial gain from Progressive billionaires by refusing to hear legitimate election questions? This one seems the most doubtful – and I hope it is untrue.

However, we have learned so many awful things over the last six years and especially during Trump’s presidency that, frankly, nothing should surprise us anymore. From the six battleground states, there were obviously enough questions, doubts, and sworn witnesses to at least justify hearing evidence in the cases – and yet the Supreme Court was fine with lower courts dismissing the cases unheard.

Moreover, given the Democrats’ assertion that they won in 2020, why are they so frantic to block any forensic election audits? There was so much smoke out there in terms of possible election irregularities that the Supreme Court had ample reason to see if there was in fact a roaring blaze. But still, a majority of the Court refused to act. Was crookedness the reason?

And then there’s the last question, which is whether compromised Supreme Court justices are being blackmailed. There are plenty of rumors about Chief Justice Roberts when it comes to his children’s adoption and his potential relationship with Jeffrey Epstein (although the latter rumor seems to have been reliably debunked). Roberts’s decisions have long been questionable. He flipped his vote on Obamacare at the last minute, allowing Obamacare to become law by a 5-4 vote. The late, great Justice Anthony Scalia believed that Roberts flipped for unprincipled reasons.

One can also hypothesize that justices aren’t protecting themselves but others near and dear to them. We just don’t know. But something must explain why at least six justices on the Supreme Court refused even to review cases that had been supported by a mountain of affidavits and other documentary and video evidence.

Coldheartedtruth Teller said...

Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch wanted to hear the cases concerning presidential election integrity. They especially wanted to hear cases looking at Democrat D.C. lawyers and Deep State operatives overriding state election laws.

However, even the supposedly conservative Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett refused to hear the evidence. President Trump and MAGA nation were shocked by Kavanaugh and Coney Barrett’s silence. They appear to have been “frozen” at the free-throw line. Perhaps it’s not a coincidence that Kavanaugh and Barrett have the youngest, most vulnerable children.

And of course, the Supreme Court may have been worried about issuing a decision only to have the entire progressive half of America – including in the government and the military – ignore it (as Biden has done when it comes to rent moratoriums, despite admitting they’re unconstitutional). So, they decided it best to do nothing. Unfortunately, that scenario is very possible. And very sad.

The political parties, billionaires, Progressives, and the Deep State, like feral animals, will do what they do because politics isn’t for sissies. We Americans, though, always believed that the Supreme Court would be the adult in the room and bring law and reason to bear – and stop people’s partisan passions. It is the Supreme Court, more than any American institution, that ultimately failed in a historic way.

History will decide whether, in 2020, the Court sank to the same ignominious level it occupied when it decided the Dred Scott, Plessey, or Korematsu cases. Those decisions also created outcomes much worse than anything the Supreme Court was trying to avoid.

As individual states try to clean up their election laws to prevent future fraud, we can anticipate more court challenges that will once again end up in the Supreme Court’s lap. Hopefully, corruption and/or cowardice will not rear its ugly head. All we ask is that the Court hears the evidence! If the justices again refuse to do so, half of the American population will give up on our constitutional system. The Supreme Court cannot duck this forever.

As soon as our elites start "doing every single thing that MIGHT even help" perhaps we should too. Perhaps.

But as long as assholes like Skeets Hussein 0linsky and Rashida Tlaib (D-Hamas) are going to party MASKLESS like it's 1999, and we are allowing a southern invasion of Covid positive unregistered democrats, I think that those on the left demanding the abdication of our freedoms and liberties kindly SHUT THE FUCK UP.

The Supreme Court: Cowards, Crooks, or Compromised?

By Andrew W. Coy

Repeatedly in the past year – before the election, when Democrats put into place unconstitutional election rules, and after the election, when people begged it to review fraud claims – a majority on the United States Supreme Court went through mental gymnastics to create reasons not to hear claims about the 2020 election. They did this even though there was already precedence from the top court in Bush v. Gore 2000. Why? Why the staunch refusal by the Supreme Court?

Just now entering the debate is former military intelligence Captain Seth Keshel (ret.), whose findings may force the Supreme Court to grapple with questions about the election. Keshel’s earthshaking scientific data election report contends that President Trump probably won seven states that had been called for Biden (Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Minnesota). If Kassel’s numbers are correct, that gives Trump 321 electoral college votes, well above the 270 needed to win the White House. Maybe that will give the Supreme Court reason to get involved in the fraudulent and duplicitous election of our president. For now, though, the Supreme Court believes the election was “stolen, fair-and-square.”

The question is whether the justices are cowards, crooks, or compromised, for those three choices seem to be the only way to explain their resolute refusal to make any decisions regarding the Presidential Election of 2020. This constitutes a historic failure on their part, for the Court is refusing to be a co-equal branch of the federal government. Nor is the role Republicans as of them – reviewing the law connected to possible election fraud – new ground. With 2000’s Bush v. Gore, there is legal precedent for them to act.

The answer to the question about what drives their passivity is an important one. One can argue successfully that the January 6 “Stop The Steal” rally, which continued with a rowdy protest on Capitol Hill, resulted because of the justices’ lack of integrity and/or guts. Thanks to their blatant disassociation with being a coequal branch with the Presidency and Congress, the Court has lost enormous respect from half of America

I think you have that backwards BWAA.

Until the left can provide direct scientific evidence that masks are in fact effective, it's the left who is politicizing the mask issue.

With regards to mask mandates, the only "science" that's being followed is POLITICAL science.

Answer: Voters under 35, +3 net favorability for Joe Biden and a -17 net favorability for Kamala Harris

After that it's Parents which are -1 for Biden and -15 for Harris

Huge drops all around

OAN Newsroom
UPDATED 2:27 PM PT – Thursday, August 12, 2021

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona has expressed his support for controversial vaccine mandates for U.S. schools. Cardona said on Wednesday, he would favor the measures to require teachers and school staffs to have a COVID-19 vaccine ahead of the new school year.

This comes after embattled California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) ordered forced vaccinations for school personnel within the entire state. Cardona went on to claim mass vaccination is the best way to reopen schools.

“We know they are lining up to get vaccinated. Ninety percent of the teachers across the country have gotten vaccinated. We’re proud of that,” said Cardona. “We want to keep the efforts going. We want our youth to get vaccinated.”

Cardona also said mass vaccination would allow for the lifting of face mask requirements, despite the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommending face masks for those who took the vaccine as well.
