On May 13, Biden stood in the Rose Garden and claimed a major breakthrough in the fight against the coronavirus “made possible by the extraordinary success we’ve had in vaccinating so many Americans so quickly.”
Calling it a “great milestone” and “a great day,” he promised the American people, “If you’ve been fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask. Let me repeat: If you are fully vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask.”
In June, the White House claimed “the virus is in retreat” and the country was “entering a summer of joy and freedom.” Then, on July 4, Biden declared that we have “gained the upper hand against the virus” and, thanks to the vaccine, “we can live our lives, our kids can go back to school, our economy is roaring back.”
To paraphrase one of the president’s favorite expressions, “that was the deal” — vaccinations for a return to normal. But Biden’s optimism was a bit premature.
As pointed out here by the Reverend, the logic is that Biden should take credit for all success and still be able to pass blame for all failure. The Reverend didn't have any logical reason for this argument, just demanded it is so in his mind.
Obviously that is the default mindset for most every liberal. Give credit for every success to Biden (whether it had anything to do with Biden or not). Blame any failures on someone else, even if blaming that someone else makes no logical sense. No need to be "logical" anymore. This is politics.
Biden wasn't responsible for the vaccine. He wasn't responsible for the roll out of the vaccine. He wasn't responsible for how quickly the vaccine got out. At least not at first. All he was doing was taking over a well oiled machine that had gone from no vaccinations to over a million a day. There was nothing for him to do but stay out of the way.
Interestingly, now that Biden has been in charge for several months, the vaccination rates have dropped and Covid is back on the rise. Rather than put the blame on the person who is now responsible for this, liberals look for scapegoats. Even as these same liberals wanted to praise him for early success that was not his!
Imagine a football coach taking over a team on the rise. They have a great season, they win a bowl game under the old coach, a new coach steps in and wins for a season or two with the same players and mostly the same scheme. But after recruiting his own players setting up his own system, then they start to lose. Who is NOT going to blame the new coach for not maintaining the success that the previous coach had had?
But I digress. How could the early success of the vaccinations be real if Covid is roaring back even as more people are getting vaccinated? The answer is that you cannot have it both ways. If the success of early summer was because of the vaccination rates, then how can having more people vaccinated be causing the most current surge.
The only real difference here is the change of personnel, the change in scheme and the new coach. People desperately want to claim this new coach is great, even as his team that was winning is now losing. Makes no sense and would never be accepted in any debate other than politics (where success and failure is measured in rhetoric and narrative).
Now I am okay however you want to play this. Either not enough people have ever been vaccinated to have ever given Biden or anyone else "credit" or we have enough people vaccinated today and vaccination rates cannot be blamed for what is happening now. But you cannot have it both ways, as much as liberals appear to believe you can.

YES YOU DUMB FUCK LIL SCHITTY.....BIDEN DID MAKE THAT COMMENT ABOUT MASKS A WHILE AGO.....In any universe as the facts become known.....guidance changes....Like your lie that biden said covid was beat....this thread is nothing more than your disingenuous attempt at changing the narrative to fit your fucked up bias!!!!!!!!
An opinion story is not journalism.
You can't differentiate between your alternate reality from reality.
Getting worse.
The headline of Monday’s new Gallup poll says it all: “American’s Optimism About COVID-19 Dashed as Cases Surge.” In what it called a “dramatic shift from last month,” Gallup found that Americans, by 45 percent to 40 percent, believed the coronavirus situation in the U.S. is getting worse. Only a month ago, a “record” 89 percent said the situation was getting better, while only 3 percent said it was getting worse.
This is not just a setback in public opinion; it’s a free fall.
Thecoldheartedtruth is dead.

Campaign Promises.
Biden understands that this is a dynamic situation. The steps proposed below are a start. As the crisis unfolds, Biden will build on this policy to address new challenges.
RESTORING TRUST, CREDIBILITY, AND COMMON PURPOSE
Stop the political theater and willful misinformation that has heightened confusion and discrimination. Biden believes we must immediately put scientists and public health leaders front and center in communication with the American people in order to provide regular guidance and deliver timely public health updates, including by immediately establishing daily, expert-led press briefings. This communication is essential to combating the dangerous epidemic of fear, chaos, and stigmatization that can overtake communities faster than the virus. Acts of racism and xenophobia against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community must not be tolerated.
Ensure that public health decisions are made by public health professionals and not politicians, and officials engaged in the response do not fear retribution or public disparagement for performing their jobs.
Immediately restore the White House National Security Council Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense, which was established by the Obama-Biden Administration and eliminated by the Trump Administration in 2018.
MOUNTING AN EFFECTIVE NATIONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE THAT SAVES LIVES, PROTECTS FRONTLINE WORKERS, AND MINIMIZES THE SPREAD OF COVID-19
Make Testing Widely Available and Free
Ensure that every person who needs a test can get one – and that testing for those who need it is free. Individuals should also not have to pay anything out of their own pockets for the visit at which the test is ordered, regardless of their immigration status. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) must draw on advice from outside scientists to clarify the criteria for testing, including consideration of prioritizing first responders and health care workers so they can return to addressing the crisis.
Establish at least ten mobile testing sites and drive-through facilities per state to speed testing and protect health care workers. Starting in large cities and rapidly expanding beyond, the CDC must work with private labs and manufacturers to ensure adequate production capacity, quality control, training, and technical assistance. The number of tests must be in the millions, not the thousands.
Provide a daily public White House report on how many tests have been done by the CDC, state and local health authorities, and private laboratories.
Expand CDC sentinel surveillance programs and other surveillance programs so that we can offer tests not only only to those who ask but also to those who may not know to ask, especially vulnerable populations like nursing home patients and people with underlying medical conditions. This must be done in collaboration with private sector health care entities.
Task the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to help establish a diagnosis code for COVID-19 on an emergency basis so that surveillance can be done using claims data.

Indy called me crazy but, he said that since he said that you got worse every day asshole
Scottie, aka Ch seems obsessed with this.
He says:
As pointed out here by the Reverend, the logic is that Biden should take credit for all success and still be able to pass blame for all failure.
No, the logic is that Biden, although he underestimated the problem the new strain of the virus would cause, and underestimated the stupidity of those who are still holding out against vaccination (although the virulence of the virus and the rising numbers of cases and deaths are causig those numbers to diminish, simply made an honest mistake which he is now willing to acknowledge and seek to correct.
Unlike Trump who never admitted to having made a mistake even while claiming that he knew all along that the virus he repeatedly downplayed as being of little concern, was actually a serious life-threatening matter, which he played down to avoid panicking the public.
If that were the truth, it would make him even more culpable for the deaths of so many he filled with his preposterous claims and thus contributed to their overconfidence that they did not need to take precautions of take Covid all that seriously.
History will forever judge him on that, and it is one of the major things that cost him reelection.
Ch also says,
The Reverend didn't have any logical reason for this argument, just demanded it is so in his mind.
I just demonstrated (or "demanded") the logic of what I say.
Ch continues:
Obviously that is the default mindset for most every liberal. Give credit for every success to Biden (whether it had anything to do with Biden or not). Blame any failures on someone else, even if blaming that someone else makes no logical sense. No need to be "logical" anymore.
This is politics.
No, what I said above is entirely logical and it is not merely politics. It has to do with truth and honesty and integrity, which Biden has much of and in which Trump is sorely lacking.
Ch can try to pretzel reality into something else, but all his twisting and turning is not convincing. The historical record will show that I am closer to the truth than Ch is.
What did he not do?
I dare you to prove your allegations against Sleepy Joe
James. I have a lot of experience with mental illness, including my own personal problems with alcohol and the PTSD as a result of addiction and again the near death experiences of an ammonia poisoning and the liver transplant.
Plus being evicted and getting back to normal.
I really think that he needs some help.
I am more normal than for many years.

Trump’s Donation Tactics Led to Millions in Refunds
August 7, 2021 at 5:15 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
“The aggressive fund-raising tactics that former President Donald Trump deployed late in last year’s presidential campaign have continued to spur an avalanche of refunds into 2021, with Mr. Trump, the Republican Party and their shared accounts returning $12.8 million to donors in the first six months of the year,” the New York Times reports.
“Trailing in the polls and facing a cash crunch last September, Mr. Trump’s political operation began opting online donors into automatic recurring contributions by prechecking a box on its digital donation forms to take a withdrawal every week. Donors would have to notice the box and uncheck it to opt out of the donation. A second prechecked box took out another donation, known as a ‘money bomb.’”
YET EVEN THIS OUTRIGHT DISHONESTY FAILED TO GET HIM REELECTED.
If we even mention Trump it triggers another TDS symptom..
James if we post a list of the broken promises by Trump, he will call me an old man in a nursing home.
Mexico was going to pay for the wall.
Repeal and replace Obamacare.

Accelerate the Development of Treatment and Vaccines
Ensure the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority are swiftly accelerating the development of rapid diagnostic tests, therapeutics and medicines, and vaccines. NIH must be responsible for the clinical trial networks and work closely with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on trial approvals.
Ensure the FDA is working with the NIH to prioritize review and authorization for use of COVID-19 countermeasures and strengthen regulatory science at the FDA to make certain it has the needed resources to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new tools.
Provide Timely Information and Medical Advice and Guidance
Work with the CDC and HHS to ensure that health departments and health providers across the country give every person access to an advice line or interactive online advice so they can make an informed decision about whether to seek care or to stay at home. This will preserve the health care system for those who are sick and prevent people who may not need to see a provider from becoming needlessly exposed. Ensure all information provided to the public is accessible to people with disabilities, including through plain language materials and American sign language interpreters.
Instruct the CDC to provide clear, stepwise guidance and resources about both containment and mitigation for local school districts, health care facilities, higher education and school administrators, and the general public. Right now, there is little clarity for these groups about when to move toward social distancing measures, like cancelling school, mass gatherings, and travel and when to move to tele-work and distance learning models.
Ensure firefighters and other emergency responders are notified if they have been exposed to individuals infected with COVID-19.
Launching Urgent Public Health System Improvements for Now and the Future
Work with businesses to expand production of personal protective equipment, including masks and gloves, and additional products such as bleach and alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Incentivize greater supplier production of these critically important medically supplies, including committing, if necessary, to large scale volume purchasing and removing all relevant trade barriers to their acquisition.
Regarding 6:46
That's the way a statesman/stateswoman SHOULD behave.
James, will Ch blame Biden for this sad story or excuse the Republicans who have sewn doubt on vaccine injection because they are not Democrats.
“In the last 10 days, we have had six members of our church who passed away from COVID. Four of them were under the age of 35. All of them were healthy, and the only thing they had in common was they were not vaccinated.”

I'm getting sick and tired about this blog because he has lost his mind.

I can't believe when I begged for money on Facebook.
JAMES:
By the way, Roger, I never saw that. I am not a frequent visitor to Facebook, and I never saw it. I was not aware of anything like that until I saw KansasDim and others here taunting you. Had I seen it, I would have contacted you earlier, personally.
These people here can be vicious and merciless and unprincipled and they will jump on any thing, large or small, and make as big a deal out of it as possible.
Remember when Loretta aka Savagette used to claim I was on the verge of being fired by the Belflower Christian Church elders with whom she claimed she had been in contact by phone and email? Never happened, my elders would have told me if it had, but she went on repeating that absolutely ridiculous lie for years and years.
They are not Republicans, so they don't deserve credit..
I don't know their Facebook names anymore because I changed my phone.
If you have their names on Facebook messenger them to me.
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way—in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.” — Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities[1]
It is easy to assume that the author of a book called Election Meltdown[2] thinks we are in a Dickensian “worst of times.” Adding to the feelings of despair is the condition of the United States since the book appeared in February 2020, with more than 200,000 Americans dead from COVID-19 and millions more affected,[3] systemic racism brought to the forefront of the national consciousness by the killing of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests,[4] President Trump’s decision to use force against protestors in Washington D.C. and beyond,[5] and the President’s continued insistence without evidence that extended mail-in voting necessitated by the pandemic will lead to a stolen or rigged election.
Savagette was fucking crazy. Seriously she is a danger to herself or worse.
But she was over 70 so???
Every post here so far by the three stooge. How sad that is.

That's a long winded manner in which to say...
It's not Biden's fault that his plan didn't work and it never will be.
Your logic seems to be.
It's not his fault.
Because he didn't fully understand the problem.
Where in the real world can you get away with such logic?
A plan has two areas where it can fail
1) The design
2) The execution.
You seem to be arguing that it was the design. He simply didn't have a strong grasp of the variables involved and "underestimated" things (in your own word). But that is still a failure. You don't get off the hook for a failed plan, simply because you didn't plan well and underestimated what you are up against.
In fact, I believe that a well designed plan that might be poorly executed probably has more merit, because you can work on the execution and try again.
But if your design is what fails, then you need a new design.
Joe Biden seems to have had a plan. It didn't work because he underestimated the issues and his marvelous plan of miraculously getting everyone on board with a vaccine that is causing issues (my niece was just hospitalized after the second dose and was told it is not unusual).
I am not President of the United States.
But I could have told you back in January that you would never get everyone to voluntarily take a vaccine that is not even FDA approved (but only approved for emergency purposes without full testing).
If I already knew that... it seems unfathomable that nobody in the ENTIRE Biden administration anticipated that?
Make no mistake Reverend.
When a plan fails because you underestimated or misunderstood what you were up against. It's still a 100% failure. Failure, failure, failure!
Think about the facts:
- The vaccine is still waiting for full FDA approval. It is only approved right now for emergency use. It's considered technically an experimental vaccine at this point.
- The vaccine is known to have serious side effects that can lead to sickness that may or may not even be worse than the typical case of Covid. Some doctors and medical experts are even tying it to death.
- The vaccine is not proving to be 100% effective as we have recently found with with several DEMOCRATS contacting Covid after being fulling vaccinated.
So if you are under the age of 50, normally healthy, the chances of you dying from Covid are almost nothing. You have a better chance of dying from about a hundred different things you do daily.
You are asked to take a vaccine that does not have full FDA approval, is not preventing the vaccinated catching Covid, and you know that the chances of a bad side effect are probably much better than your chances of catching a bad case of Covid. Real or not, the reports of people who have experienced extreme sickness and even death after the vaccine is going to scare some people off.
So yeah... I made the choice to take the Vaccine, largely so I could honestly walk around without a mask in public and so I would have a Vaccine card if it came to it. But I didn't do it because I was afraid of dying from Covid or because I thought it was completely necessary for me to remain healthy.
Others are not going to want to take a risk of vaccine that for all practical purposes is "experimental" at this time. You are not going to "shame" them into taking it. Calling them "stupid" is not going to help.
So if Biden's plan was to just convince everyone through his eloquent political charm and effective persuasion techniques... then that was the dumbest plan we have seen at the Federal level in some time.
Your hero said that he would make America Great Again.
He mishandled the worst medical crisis in a century.
The President is going to get the bill passed soon.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Senators will resume a weekend session toward passage of a $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package after running into opposition from a few Republicans who want to drag out final votes on one of President Joe Biden’s top priorities.
The measure would provide what Biden has called a “historic investment” in public works programs, from roads and bridges to broadband internet access, drinking water and more. In a rare stroke of bipartisanship, Republicans joined Democrats to advance the measure and more votes are expected Sunday. If approved, the bill would go to the House.
Despite the overwhelming support, momentum has dragged as a few Republican senators refused to yield 30 hours of required debate before the next set of procedural votes, which could delay swift passage of the package and result in a dayslong slog.
He is fulfilling his promises.
America is back again !
You are lying.
You said
- The vaccine is still waiting for full FDA approval
The original three have been approved since last last year. I got my Phyzer in January asshole
And this reads like you were drunk.
So if Biden's plan was to just convince everyone through his eloquent political charm and effective persuasion techniques... then that was the dumbest plan we have seen at the Federal level in some time.

But as the highly contagious Delta strain tears through the country, the trends thus far suggest vaccines can turn Covid-19 into a less dangerous, more manageable disease.”

Give me liberty and give me COVID!
The walls are closing in on Trump.
Jeffrey A. Rosen, who was acting attorney general during the Trump administration, has told the Justice Department watchdog and congressional investigators that one of his deputies tried to help former President Donald J. Trump subvert the results of the 2020 election, according to a person familiar with the interviews.
Mr. Rosen had a two-hour meeting on Friday with the Justice Department’s office of the inspector general and provided closed-door testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee on Saturday.
The investigations were opened after a New York Times article that detailed efforts by Jeffrey Clark, the acting head of the Justice Department’s civil division, to push top leaders to falsely and publicly assert that continuing election fraud investigations cast doubt on the Electoral College results. That prompted Mr. Trump to consider ousting Mr. Rosen and installing Mr. Clark at the top of the department to carry out that plan.
Mr. Trump never fired Mr. Rosen, but the plot highlights the former president’s desire to batter the Justice Department into advancing his personal agenda.
The new Republicans motto.
Give me liberty and give me COVID!
Rosen and Clark disagreed. News at 11.
You can give Ch a logical answer and he will always pretzel his way out of it -- or at least he thinks he does.
That's why I often don't even bother.
The American people will ultimately decide,
and I think they will decide right.
They sure did in the last election.

Give me liberty to follow Trump or give me Covid.

Anti-Vax Radio Host Dies from Covid-19
August 8, 2021 at 4:00 am EDT By Taegan Goddard
Conservative radio host Dick Farrel,
who used his local talk show to rail against Dr. Anthony Fauci as a “power tripping lying freak” and say that no one should get the coronavirus vaccine, died from Covid-19 complications, the Daily Beast reports.
When the disease sent him to the hospital three weeks ago, he changed his tune and urged friends to get vaccinated, WPTV reports.
Roger
Pfizer and BioNTech have already started their application process for full U.S. approval of their Covid-19 vaccine. Rival Moderna is expected to submit for the same process for its shot later this month.
The mRNA vaccines are currently on the U.S. market under Emergency Use Authorizations, which were granted by the Food and Drug Administration in December. Since then, more than 263 million shots have been administered, according to data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Standard vaccine reviews generally take several months to a year or more to determine whether it is safe and effective for use in the general public. But due to the pandemic, which has killed nearly 600,000 Americans, the FDA permitted the use of the shots under an EUA.
