The country’s top infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci predicts businesses and schools will rush to impose vaccine mandates as soon as the Food and Drug Administration gives its full approval of the Covid-19 shots.
In an interview with USA Today’s editorial board, Dr Fauci said FDA approval would embolden private organisations and educational institutions to require staff, customers and students to get the jabs.
“They can say, ‘If you want to come to this college or this university, you’ve got to get vaccinated. If you want to work in this plant, you have to get vaccinated. If you want to work in this enterprise, you’ve got to get vaccinated. If you want to work in this hospital, you’ve got to get vaccinated.
Contrary to popular belief, neither or our vaccines are actually fully FDA approved. Fauci himself is not sure when or if a full Federal approval will be coming. Some say the FDA will fully approve of the vaccines within the next month or so, while others believe that it is still a ways away.
Of course, like many other things, bringing up a lack of FDA approval is grounds for being censored for "misinformation" and such. After all, most people are not smart or interested enough to understand the nuances. Some people are led to believe (by their noses as they usually are) that the vaccines are fully approved because they are allowed to get them. Ahem. People are stupid.
Dr Fauci predicted vaccine mandates would not be issued at a federal level.
The FDA issued emergency use authorisation for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines in December, allowing state and federal authorities to begin mass vaccination programmes for anyone age 18 or older. But it has since faced criticism for being slow to grant full approval for the vaccines, despite clinical trials overwhelmingly proving the vaccines are safe and effective.
The delay has been blamed by some lawmakers for causing vaccine hesitancy.
Imagine if someone had suggested at the beginning of the Trump administration that President Trump would be pushing for a Federal mandate for all American to take a vaccine or drug that was not fully tested and had not been given full FDA approval. Heads would have exploded and every Democrat and liberal would be fighting tooth and nail any such mandate.
To be clear the issue with the full approval likely has little or nothing to do with the effectiveness of the drug and most everything to do with studying the side effects. We are currently aware of serious side effects that have left millions sick and some even hospitalized. I personally know of several people who were out on their feet after the second dose, and just last week my niece had to call 911 and ended up in the ER after she was suffering from a serious shortage of breath the day after. More recently there have been medical professionals questioning whether or not the vaccines are actually leading to death. These are obviously the sorts of things that the FDA has to fully vet before they can provide a full approval.
What we will need is an official disclosure of the side effects to be fully informed. You hear them at the end of every drug commercial. Taking drug XYZ can lead to serious side effects up to and including rash, headaches, hair loss, blood in your urine, death. You know the drill. The full reason the FDA provides a full approval with a full disclosure of the side effects are so people can make a fully informed decision. You might even (gasp) hear that voice over suggest that you talk to your doctor without even mentioning asking your Government.
Without the full approval we are not really making a fully informed medical decision.
So what if it is determined that these drugs might cause hospitalization or even death. I think it's a pretty safe bet that the former is factually true even if the latter is still in question. Would it be right to force people who might be more medically prone to those effects to risk that in order to participate in society? Would it be right to make people who are more at risk from the side effects than the virus itself to take the drug to go to work or school? Would it be right to force people with natural antibodies (which are medically more effective than the vaccine in preventing the spread) to take a vaccine just to function in life?
What would be the point in providing the information if our Government was going to make us take the drug regardless? The very concept the Government deciding for you whether or not the risks are better than the reward is chilling.

First.
The original three vaccines are already approved.
This one is for the Delta variance and others.
About 75 million American adults remain completely unvaccinated. This is a good article about the many reasons why perhaps close to half of this group isn’t made up of hardcore ideologues who oppose getting vaccinated because of some combination of toxic political and pseudo-scientific beliefs by people like Scott, but rather of people who still have genuine access problems, usually related to some combination of work requirements, transportation, and child care:
Those who aren’t yet vaccinated are much more likely to be food insecure, have children at home and earn little. About three-quarters of unvaccinated adults live in a household that makes less than $75,000 a year
You are actually killing middle class Republicans!
The original three vaccines are already approved.
No Roger.
They are not fully FDA approved.
They were approved as an experimental drug for emergency use only in December and the FDA is still studying the vaccines and have not provided a full approval.
Read the damned article?
This was Fauci YESTERDAY?
You know more than Fauci about FDA approval?
You made this same argument yesterday.
Who told you that they were fully FDA approved?
Addressing the barrage of personal attacks he receives from Republicans in Congress and on Fox News, Dr Fauci said he was more concerned about the country and himself.
“This is a dystopian world we’re living in,” he told USA Today.
Many Americans were being misled about Covid-19 and vaccinations, he said.
He hopes people will listen to their “better angels” and make up their own minds based on science and reality.
Roger...
Are you going to admit you were wrong about the vaccination and FDA approval?
If Trump was president, you'd be screaming for EVERYONE to take advantage of the vaccines he provided at warp speed, and severely blaming those who are yet unvacinnated and falling prey to the Delta variant. .
Obstruct. Obstruct. Obstruct. Obstruct.

GRAND OBSTRUCTIONIST PARTY
Roger, please tell Ch you misspoke about FDA approval.
Ch desperately needs that. Things are not going well for him these days.
If they get full approval, yes I would support mandatory immunization.
It's not against the Constitution.
They were approved as an experimental drug for emergency use only in December and the FDA is still studying the vaccines and have not provided a full approval.
I know several people who have not and will not get the vaccine specifically for this reason.
And I can't say that I blame them since we now know that the vaccine will not prevent you from contracting the virus.
We are where we are due to the left's insatiable need to politicize everything.
Hey Reverend!
I just sold my house for well over asking price, my move it upcoming, my job is going well, my son is doing well living on his own, my wife just got a five figure bonus at work. My life is going wonderfully!
Oh and the idiot in chief's approvals are dropping like a lead balloon, and 2022 is looking better and better for Republicans. Even on a political note, things are making me smile every day!
You think Nursing Home Rog feels sorry for me for some reason?
He just needs to admit he was wrong about the FDA approval (which he as attacked me for twice). He didn't misspeak. He called me names because I correctly pointed out that the vaccines do not yet have actual full FDA approval.
If you believe that emergency approval of an experimental drug and full FDA approval are the same thing or just a semantic difference, then you have been gaslighted by the Government.

Come at me with a vaccine mandate and I have the right to shoot you in the face.
I had to restart my phone probably because he limited my post.
But the fact that they are waiting on approval, they are killing people like me because of my weakened immune system.. there are thousands of older people who don't trust the government, because of the propaganda Breitbart news robotics pjmedia etc..
If a law officer knocks on your door and you threaten him, he will kill you because you presented a threat on his life.
Roger...
So I will take your acknowledgement of the fact that we are still waiting for approval as a humble apology on your end.
Apology accepted.
I am a big enough guy to not hold grudges!
You were just wrong and confused because of propaganda.
Making a semantic difference doesn't mean that I have been gaslighted by the Government.
You don't understand how propaganda works.
You are the one who has been gaslighted by Trump.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) on Sunday said he disagrees with the order by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) that bans mask mandates in local schools.
“I’m a conservative. I think you govern best when you govern closest to the people being governed,” Cassidy said when asked about the issue during an interview with Dana Bash on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
“And if a local community is having a — their ICU is full, and the people at the local schools see that they've got to make sure they stay open because otherwise children miss out for another year of school, and they put in policy, then the local officials should be listened to,”
Listening to local officials is a conservative approach.
Slowly but surely, Trump's control is getting weaker
Like I just said...
The New York Times article
WASHINGTON — Donald J. Trump tried mightily to kill the $1 trillion infrastructure bill, hurling the kind of insult-laden statements and threats of primary challenges that for years sent a chill down Republican spines.
But the reaction inside the Senate, where many members of his party once cowered from Mr. Trump’s angry tweets and calculated their votes to avoid his wrath, was mostly yawns.
Now, the legislation appears on a glide path to pass the Senate with a small but significant share of G.O.P. support — possibly even including Senator Mitch McConnell, the Kentucky Republican and minority leader who rarely crossed the former president when he ran the chamber.
It is one of the most significant steps to date by elected Republicans to defy Mr. Trump, not only by the moderates who have routinely broken with him, but by a wider group that may signal his waning influence on Capitol Hill.
The bill has survived largely because most of the key Republican senators involved in negotiating it are not operating under his influence. And others willing to join them found the allure of a politically popular bipartisan accomplishment that would benefit their constituents stronger than their fear of Mr. Trump.
Senator Rob Portman, the Ohio Republican who led negotiations for his party, is retiring. Senator Mitt Romney, the former 2012 presidential nominee who has made his disdain for Mr. Trump plain, owes him nothing. Senators Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, moderates from Maine and Alaska, respectively, are not fans.
Even Mr. McConnell, who helped to orchestrate his two impeachment acquittals, now appears ready to buck the former president and embrace the infrastructure package.
“There is an excellent chance it will be a bipartisan success story for the country,”
I like to see that the country is coming back to normal!
Trump was the most dangerous President in history.
If the Republicans keep their distance, I actually think it will help them out in the next election!
Other stories said that the bill would pass on Tuesday.
The funny thing Roger...
Do you remember when Trump was President and trying to make sure there was no vaccine and telling people not to get it once it was out?
Yeah... neither to I.
I remember him working with private companies and the left laughing because he said we would have a working vaccine in 2020. Fauci and others told everyone that would listen that the President was wrong and no vaccine would be available till well into 2021.
Turned out he was right.
Trump got a vaccine and encouraged everyone to get it.
Then Biden and Harris both told the county not to trust a Trump vaccine and that they would not get it if Trump told them to. There are plenty of videos out there implying that they would do the opposite of what Trump told them.
Trump pushed the vaccine and we were up to over a million doses a day when he left office.
Now you dishonestly lie and revise history and pretend that somehow anti-vaxxers got this from Trump. Either that or you are soooo fucking stupid that and your dementia is so far along that you cannot actually remember that far back?
Which is it Roger?
You lying about Trump and vaccines?
Or is your dementia getting to you?
But on topic I don't agree with the libertarian view on immunization issues.
I actually remember getting the polio vaccine in a chocolate flavored chip....
That's why I sent you the picture of Elvis Presley...

As cali likes to say - behold the power of "AND."
During the campaign they did say they didn't trust Trump's vaccine injection.
But since then over 50% have been fully vaccinated.
People who have mental problems, often accuse others for their own purposes.

WHAA?
They were amazed by my intelligence and stability for a 70 year old man.

Huh.
Sounds like a rational decision not springing forth from mental illness at all, alky.
The vaccine today is the same vaccine that Trump managed to get to a level of ONE MILLION DOSES/DAY.
And when Slow Joe an da Ho rejected the vaccine you cheered them on.

It's far more complicated than the know
Roger...
Whether or not Trump said it would go away is irrelevant.
Biden not only said he would stop it. He actually declared victory.
When Presidents say things and are wrong, that has nothing to do with vaccines.
So please admit that Trump is not an anti-vaxxer and that he is not the reason why some people are not getting the vaccination. Please admit that you are 100% wrong and/or lying when you demand that people get anti-vaxxing ideas from Trump.
If you want people to stop thinking you are suffering from dementia.
Then get your facts right.
Specifically get them right about Trump. Since he still seems to live rent free in your head to the point where you cannot stop lying about him.
If you didn't go around demanding that Trump is responsible for people not vaccinating or demanding that I must get a view about vaccination mandates from Trump then you would sound SO FUCKING CRAZY!!!
Just get your facts right.
You keep getting them wrong. You are either lying, stupid, or suffering from cognitive decline. (take your pick)

A pastor in Jacksonville, Florida, is encouraging his congregants to get vaccinated as a COVID-19 outbreak has ravaged his church.
Six unvaccinated members died from COVID-19 over the course of ten days, Senior Pastor George Davis of Impact Church told local outlet News4Jax.
"In the last 10 days, we have had six members of our church who passed away from COVID. Four of them were under the age of 35. All of them were healthy, and the only thing they had in common was they were not vaccinated," Davis said.
Ch aka Scott,
Trump said far more misleading and untrue things about the pandemic than Biden ever has.
Trump even denied it existed as a pandemic and said it was nothing to be all that concerned about and later tried to claim he knew all along it was deadly, air borne, but didn't say so to avoid panick.
Laughable, if it weren't so tragic.
Trump contributed to cases and deaths in a way that Biden never has.
And I don't need multiple twisting sentences to say those things, the way you do as you pretzel about.

Biden Speeds Ahead on Appointing Judges

“President Biden and Senate Democrats are off to a fast start in pushing through judicial nominees, outpacing former President Trump’s early record in confirming judges to the federal bench,” The Hill reports.
THERE'S STILL HOPE FOR AMERICA.
I'm not sure why the left keeps bringing up Trump and his early Covid response which occurred while the democrats were hung up on impeachment and inviting people to come on down to Chinatown or criticizing him for shutting down travel from China (where Covid originated from).
His early statements reflect the statements of his top medical adviser, Fauci, who is on the record saying most of the same (no big deal, nothing to worry about, no need to mask etc), while Fauci hiding his involvement with gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab.
Of course anything to deflect from Biden's failed response, Biden's actual spreading of Covid infected people throughout America, Biden's early criticism of the vaccine, and now his lack of transparency with it's side effects.
Is this an example of TLS. Trump Love Syndrome????

Beyond Delta, scientists are watching new coronavirus variants
Reuters
August 8, 2021, 11:15 AM
By Julie Steenhuysen
CHICAGO (Reuters) -
The continued spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus has spawned a Greek alphabet of variants - a naming system used by the World Health Organization to track concerning new mutations of the virus that causes COVID-19. Some have equipped the virus with better ways of infecting humans or evading vaccine protection.
Scientists remain focused on Delta, now the dominant variant rising rapidly around the world, but are tracking others to see what may one day take its place.
DELTA
The Delta variant first detected in India remains the most worrisome. It is striking unvaccinated populations in many countries and has proven capable of infecting a higher proportion of vaccinated people than its predecessors.
The WHO classifies Delta as a variant of concern, meaning it has been shown capable of increasing transmissibility, causing more severe disease or reducing the benefit of vaccines and treatments.
According to Shane Crotty, a virologist at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology in San Diego, Delta's "superpower" is its transmissibility. Chinese researchers found that people infected with Delta carry 1,260 times more virus in their noses compared with the original version of the coronavirus. Some U.S. research suggests that the "viral load" in vaccinated individuals who become infected with Delta is on par with those who are unvaccinated, but more research is needed.
While the original coronavirus took up to seven days to cause symptoms, Delta can cause symptoms two to three days faster, giving the immune system less time to respond and mount a defense. Delta also appears to be mutating further, with reports emerging of a "Delta Plus" variant, a sub-lineage that carries an additional mutation that has been shown to evade immune protection.
India listed Delta Plus as a variant of concern in June, but neither the U.S. Centers For Disease Control and Prevention nor the WHO have done so yet. According to Outbreak.info, an open-source COVID-19 database, Delta Plus has been detected in at least 32 countries. Experts say it is not yet clear whether it is more dangerous.
LAMBDA – ON THE WANE?
The Lambda variant has attracted attention as a potential new threat. But this version of the coronavirus, first identified in Peru in December, may be receding, several infectious disease experts told Reuters.
The WHO classifies Lambda as a variant of interest, meaning it carries mutations suspected of causing a change in transmissibility or causing more severe disease, but it is still under investigation. Lab studies show it has mutations that resist vaccine-induced antibodies.
Dr. Eric Topol, a professor of molecular medicine and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute in La Jolla, California, said the percentage of new Lambda cases reported to GISAID, a database that tracks SARS-CoV-2 variants, has been dropping, a sign that the variant is waning.
In a recent call with the CDC, disease experts said Lambda did not appear to be causing increased transmissibility, and vaccines appear to be holding up well against it, said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious diseases expert at Vanderbilt University Medical Center who attended the discussion.
B.1.621 - ONE TO WATCH
The B.1.621 variant, which first arose in Colombia in January, where it caused a major outbreak, has yet to earn a Greek letter name.
The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control has listed it as a variant of interest, while Public Health England describes B.1.621 as a variant under investigation. It carries several key mutations, including E484K, N501Y and D614G, that have been linked with increased transmissibility and reduced immune protection. So far, there have been 37 likely and confirmed cases in the UK, according to a recent government report, and the variant has been identified in a number of patients in Florida.
MORE ON THE WAY?
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the White House's chief medical adviser, recently warned that the United States could be in trouble unless more Americans get vaccinated, as a large pool of unvaccinated people give the virus more opportunity to spread and mutate into new variants.
Proponents of greater international distribution of vaccine doses by rich countries say the same thing could happen as variants emerge unchecked among the populations of poor nations where very few people have been inoculated.
Even so, a key issue is that the current vaccines block severe disease but do not prevent infection, said Dr. Gregory Poland, a vaccine scientist at the Mayo Clinic. That is because the virus is still capable of replicating in the nose, even among vaccinated people, who can then transmit the disease through tiny, aerosolized droplets.
To defeat SARS-CoV-2, he said, will likely require a new generation of vaccines that also block transmission. Until then, the world will remain vulnerable to the rise of new coronavirus variants, according to Poland and other experts.

DJ posts stealth pics of Obama’s ‘epic’ birthday party — before being forced to delete them
A performer at former President Barack Obama’s birthday party managed to take stealth pictures of the opulent Martha’s Vineyard event and share them with Instagram followers.
Rapper Trap Beckham and manager TJ Chapman discreetly snapped pics of the event’s high-end food, drink and swag offerings and talked to their followers as the party unfolded, according to screenshots of the posts, which were later deleted under the event’s photography ban.
The recording artist and his handler posted themselves smoking cannabis — which is legal in Massachusetts.
Snaps of the open bar showed bottles of top-shelf liquor and cigars, and s’mores cocktails garnished with melted marshmallows.
Despite Questlove being enlisted to coordinate a meat-free menu, photos showed that steak, chicken and shrimp were also available, with rice, greens and potatoes on the side.
Brownies and watermelon slices were served to staff and performers for dessert, along with Mexican hot chocolate, which the musician and manager apparently washed down with Hennessy, screenshots of the social media posts show.
Erykah Badu snapped the former president on the dance floor, where Beckham said “he danced the whole time.”
Gold napkins, masks and backstage passes were emblazoned with 44X60, a reference to the 44th president’s 60th birthday, and bathroom amenities included antiperspirant wipes, a lint roller and Advil, according to the pictures.
Beckham, who reportedly performed a version of his hit “Birthday B—h” for the prez — who was also sung to by Alicia Keys and John Legend, later posted about the party.
“Had to delete everything due to the rules,” Beckham reportedly explained. “It was epic for sure. If any videos surface it’s going viral. He danced the whole time. Nobody ever seen Obama like this before.”
By 1 a.m., the “scaled-down” shindig had officially petered out, as throngs of famous guests and workers clogged the roads of small-town Oak Bluffs, creating a “s–t show” of traffic congestion on the resort island, police said.
Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Jennifer Hudson, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Bradley Cooper, Don Cheadle, Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Bruce Springsteen Erykah Badu, Steven Colbert and John Kerry were just some of the rumored celebrity guests at the seaside affair.

Sorry Reverend.... you have your opinion. I have my facts:
1) President's Coronavirus Task Force was established on January 29, 2020 - at that point there were less that 40 known Covid deaths WORLD-WIDE and zero known US deaths.
2) President instituted a travel ban on China on January 31st, 2020 - which Fauci admitted saved thousands of lives - and Democrats criticized as unnecessary and racist (go figure).
3) State lockdowns started to go into effect as early as late February (Washington) when the country had one known Covid death.
If you are dumb enough to use revisionist history to suggest that Democrats would have accepted Trump demanding some sort of lockdown or mask mandate back before February 29th (when Democrats criticized him for a travel ban) - then you are truly suffering from a reality disorder.
All of this (from the Task force to the travel ban to lock downs) happened faster than any response we have ever had to anything of this nature. You cannot go back in time and find any President who acted quicker and stronger in the face of this sort of medical situation than Trump did.
If you think you can... I dare you to find it.
You won't of course... but you will believe hypothetically someone else would have done better. Because you simply have to believe so.
All of this was literally done when almost no Americans had actually died from this and even world-wide the numbers were small. To convince Americans to actually lock down their economies when only 1 American had died is a feat that should go down as one of the best persuasion moves in Political history.
But somehow you believe it should have happened faster, when your Democratic Party was demanding that Trump was being over the top and his moves were unnecessary. You blame Trump for not moving past Democratic objections faster? Is that your argument?
The facts and history doesn't lie, Reverend.
But apparently opinion does. Especially revisionist opinions.
HOW DOES THIS COMPARE TO OBAMA'S MUCH REDUCED PARTY?
Hundreds of Thousands of Bikers Expected in Sturgis
August 8, 2021 at 9:57 am EDT By Taegan Goddard
“Although most large events shut down last summer because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally forged ahead, panicking health experts as nearly a half-million motorcycle enthusiasts descended on the Black Hills of South Dakota,” the New York Times reports.
“This year’s rally, which began on Friday, is expected to draw an even larger crowd, just as the infectious Delta variant is producing more new virus cases nationwide than this time last year.”
SHOULD THE CITIZENS OF STURGIS START SHOOTING INTRUDERS?
Fauci said Sunday that a decision on booster shots could be made by the end of the summer. Meet The Press/NBC
Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday that a COVID-19 booster shot will likely be needed at some point in the future.
Fauci said he supported a third vaccine shot for people with weakened immune systems as soon as possible.
But all Americans, and especially the elderly, will likely need to get another jab in the future, he said.
He said that even people who have been immunized can transfer the virus to other people.!!!! That's why masking should be mandatory in public areas..
Plus more important is that people who have recovered from the covid-19 virus, but have not yet been vaccinated they can get sick again within a month or so!
My Doctor said that I don't need a booster shot yet because I have completely recovered from the transplant and my numbers are extremely great news!
Let me guess, Reverend.
You got your opinion from some anti-Trump book?
Not from actually looking at the actions, history, and timeline of what ACTUALLY HAPPENED?
Just curious? Was it an anti-Trump book rather than factual history!
Bet it was! LOL!!!
Sucker!!!!!!!
lol AT YOU SCOTTIE.
It is well known that Trump's NUMEROUS gross misrepresentations and mishandlings of the pandemic greatly contributed to his defeat.
You can lie about this.
History will not.
If Fauci and Birx had not managed to talk him out of 'packing the churches for Easter,'
things would have been even worsse.
Let me guess Lil Schitty....you have lost touch with reality and will do and say anything to not look bad......BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Funny you mention what actually happened when you still do not admit trump had his old fat white ass beaten to a pulp in 2020!!!!!!
He's getting worse
He accused me of demented behavior but if you read his rambling comments, in pretty good English but nonsensical.

The goal seems to be that people get vaccinated as an end in itself, whether they're at little or no risk (such as healthy people under 40) or whether or not they've had it. There's no reasoning with the people who are dead-set on making everyone down to age 3 take it. Insidious.

The Only Place Republicans Seem to Take Covid Seriously
August 8, 2021 at 1:21 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
Charlie Sykes:
“Even as many Republicans rail against mask mandates and spread skepticism about vaccines, GOP leaders have settled on one place where they take the spread of Covid very seriously — the border.
“The pivot occurred quickly. This week, one Republican leader after another rushed to blame the spread of the virus, not on the unvaccinated but on immigrants.”
Coronavirus Infections Soar In Florida
August 8, 2021 at 1:16 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard
Tampa Bay Times: “Florida’s positivity rate rose to 18.5 percent in the past week, up from 18.1 percent the week before.
“Before reopening, states should maintain a positivity rate of 5 percent or less for at least two weeks, according to the World Health Organization. A positivity rate of 5 percent or less indicates testing is widespread enough to capture mild, asymptomatic and negative cases.”
SO FLORIDA IS RACING TOWARD EVEN BIGGER TROUBLE.

The news should only report COVID hospitalizations and deaths by age range and vaccination status. Reporting the totals as one number is a tremendous disservice to the public.

The fact that the CDC posted the study that they said led to their new mask mandate actually showed the opposite of what they said it did is reason to not give the public information. or so they think.

Masks can block droplets, not aerosols. Time to abolish all non-scientific mask mandates.

Dixie Fire Becomes Largest Wildfire In California History

Politico:
“The fire, which has burned for 23 days and forced mass evacuations, razed the Gold Rush town of Greenville on Thursday, destroying 91 buildings and damaging five others. Smoke from the blaze has blown to lower parts of Northern California, including the state capital of Sacramento where the air quality index on Friday reached ‘unhealthy’ levels.”

Gavin Newsom oversold California’s fire prevention efforts. A journalist uncovered the truth
California leaders have often touted the state’s wildfire prevention efforts, which have taken on a new urgency as fire seasons continue to set grisly records. But a new investigation, published by Capital Public Radio, found that the governor, Gavin Newsom, has dramatically overblown the state’s achievements.
The report, released in June, found that Newsom repeatedly overstated how many acres of the state were treated with fuel breaks and hazardous tree removal, along with other key elements of wildfire suppression. The report also found that the state’s fire agency, Cal Fire, saw its fuel reduction efforts cut in half in 2020.
“Overall, California’s response has faltered under Newsom,” reporters with CapRadio and NPR’s California Newsroom wrote. According to the reporting, while Newsom claimed that 90,000 acres protecting the most vulnerable communities had been treated, the data showed only a fraction – roughly 11,400 acres – was actually completed. “At the same time, Newsom slashed roughly $150m from Cal Fire’s wildfire prevention budget,” the reporters wrote. continues

expect more democrat cheating
I would be curious Reverend.
How would you have expected to go differently?
Would you have expected a task force sooner?
Would you have expected a travel ban sooner?
Would you have expected lock down sooner?
Would you have expected a vaccine sooner?
What specifically in action would you have expected differently.
I am not interested in what some people said he might have done (but didn't) or whether or not some people believe he was disinterested behind the scenes or what not. All of that is rumor and speculation.
I am ONLY interested in the actions. Specifically the early actions when action was needed. You don't seem to have any actual suggestions or anything tangible that you believe should have been done differently.
or do you?
Because your answers are quite literally.... because I said so. Or more to the point, because someone I read "said so".
Think for yourself Reverend. Prove to me that you are more than just a giant tub of bullshit. Tell me what should have been done differently (Tangibly done differently) from Jan 29th and on.

Secretary of State: All California Voters Can Download Ballots in the ‘Comfort of Their Own Home’
California’s recall election may be an exercise in futility unless voters put in safeguards to stop a downloadable ballot system from leading to ballot harvesting in order to keep unpopular Governor Gavin Newsom in office.
The “Remote Accessible Ballots for Eligible Voters” is being touted by California Secretary of State Shirley Weber as a way for voters to download ballots in the “comfort of their own home.”
“For the November 3, 2020 General Election, any voter can request to use Remote Accessible Vote by Mail,” the Secretary of State’s website states.
“A Remote Accessible Vote by Mail (RAVBM) system allows voters to mark their selections using their own compatible technology to vote independently and privately in the comfort of their own home. To use a RAVBM system, a voter must:
Download the application
Mark their selections
Print their selections
Sign the envelope (using the envelope provided with the vote-by-mail ballot or the voter’s own envelope)
Return the printed and signed selections either by mail or by dropping it off at a voting location. The selections cannot be returned electronically.
....
California Governor Newsom is becoming increasingly unpopular with voters, as was recently shown in a new SurveyUSA poll taken between August 2-4.
51% of likely voters in California’s upcoming gubernatorial recall election today would vote Yes to recall incumbent California Governor Gavin Newsom, according to SurveyUSA’s latest exclusive polling for KABC-TV in Los Angeles and KGTV 10News and The San Diego Tribune.
40% would vote No, to keep Newsom in office.

The Woke Revolution is revealed.
Thursday marked the 151st birthday of the most successful revolutionary of all time, Vladimir Lenin. With only a tiny cabal of diehard followers, Lenin seized control of the world’s largest country and inaugurated a reign of darkness and terror that lasted seventy years.
There are many lessons to draw from the blood-soaked life of Lenin. But one of the most important is this takeaway for the terrifying “woke” moment America is living through right now. Things are not going to naturally get better. Things will not organically “calm down.” Until there is a fundamental reset of America’s treasonous leadership class, today’s unthinkable witch hunt is merely a prelude of an even darker globalist terror to come.
Doctor Fauci is right about everything except what you said about.
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — The U.S. government’s top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said Sunday that he was hopeful the Food and Drug Administration will give full approval to the coronavirus vaccine by month’s end and predicted the potential move will spur a wave of vaccine mandates in the private sector as well as schools and universities.
The FDA has only granted emergency-use approval of the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, but the agency is expected to soon give full approval to Pfizer.
The Biden administration has stated that the federal government will not mandate vaccinations beyond the federal workforce, but is increasingly urging state and local governments as well as businesses to consider such mandates. Fauci, who iPhizs President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser, said “mandates at the local level need to be done” to help curb the spread of the virus.

Public health experts are urging more businesses and local officials to enact mask and vaccine requirements to slow the spread of the coronavirus as the more contagious delta variant drives a fourth surge of covid-19 cases in the United States.
“The time has come,” Anthony S. Fauci, the White House’s chief coronavirus medical adviser, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday. “We’ve got to go the extra step to get people vaccinated. You want to persuade them, that’s good … but for those who do not want, I believe mandates at the local level need to be done.”
Fauci also said he hoped the Food and Drug Administration would grant full approval of the coronavirus vaccines — now under emergency use authorizations — within the next month, though he emphasized that FDA officials were operating independently. Once that happens, Fauci said he thinks businesses, colleges and universities, and other local entities would feel “empowerment” to enact more of their own mandates.
“I strongly support that,” Fauci said, adding as he has in the past that he did not think the federal government would enact a nationwide vaccine mandate.
The push comes as coronavirus cases in the United States rose 40 percent in the past week, while covid-related hospitalizations rose 36 percent in the same period. In addition, coronavirus cases among children are on the rise — with the school year set to begin in many districts across the country. Meanwhile, children younger than 12 remain ineligible for vaccination.
Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, said on “Meet the Press” that she supported a vaccine mandate for teachers, in part to help protect children who could not yet be inoculated. She also noted that immunizations — and immunization requirements — have been in schools since the 19th century.
“Vaccines are the single-most important way of dealing with covid,” Weingarten said. “As a matter of personal conscience, I think that we need to be working with our employers, not opposing them, on vaccine mandates.”
Weingarten estimated that about 90 percent of the teachers who are members of the union have gotten the vaccine. The union passed a policy in October saying vaccines should be voluntary for teachers, but she said circumstances now merited a mandate.
“I do think that the circumstances have changed and that vaccination is a community responsibility, and it weighs really heavily on me that kids under 12 can’t get vaccinated,” she said, explaining her reversal.
Yep shorty you surely are the winnah du jour........BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Incessant babbling loser!!!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLO
