About those planes being held hostage?

Is it the Taliban or the State department grounding these planes?

Americans engaged in the rescue of U.S. citizens, SIVs and green card holders left behind by President Biden in Afghanistan are horrified by what they describe as inexplicable delays from the State Department that are preventing evacuation flights from leaving the country.

The State Department's delays are recklessly endangering American lives, three different individuals involved in the private evacuation effort told Fox News. Clay, who runs the private rescue group Plan B, told Fox News that the State Department is the only thing preventing the flights he's organizing from leaving Afghanistan.

That individual suggested that the State Department's obstruction is motivated in part by embarrassment that private individuals are rescuing Americans that the U.S. government left behind. Military command over Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar, have informed those seeking clearance to land that they must first go through the State Department to gain approval, an email reviewed by Fox News shows.

Clay has a manifest of 4,500 names of U.S. citizens, green card holders, SIVs and refugees trying to get state-side. So far, they've given the State Department 800 names for a first round of flights. Fox News has reviewed that manifest, which confirms Clay's account.

The State department is denying these allegations, in a roundabout way. They claim that they hold no power in this situation, implying that it is impossible for them to be blamed for either the standoff or for not resolving it. Typical Biden Administration cop out. I am curious as to what situations Biden and his team actually believe they are responsible for? Because it seems to be almost nothing other than passing a far left spending spree agenda. 

“We do not have personnel on the ground, we do not have air assets in the country, we do not control the airspace—whether over Afghanistan or elsewhere in the region,” a State Department spokesman told the Washington Free Beacon. “We understand the concern that many people are feeling as they try to facilitate further charter and other passage out of Afghanistan.”

But according to the reports from the people moving Americans out, the State Department is refusing to acknowledge and do what it takes to approve these flight (as the Taliban supposedly is demanding). Meanwhile the Taliban is claiming they cannot allow the planes to leave because not everyone has passports (especially the Afghan citizens).

There is a third option here that is sort of a combination. The Taliban is wanting something from the State Department, and the State Department is not negotiating on whatever point, and the Taliban is then blaming the State Department for the holdup. That would be a portion of the truth from both stories put together into a plausible story of combination. Perhaps there is a terrorist demand or extortion as it may be called from the Taliban here, and our State department is not wanting to give into it. 

But basically these grounded planes attempting to leave are part of the Glen Beck effort to bring Americans back home. The Beck group have also apparently found 4500 of the 200 or so Americans that the Government is telling us is left there. That appears to be some funny math one way or other other. But if 129 Americans are on those planes already and there are more planes to follow, then we will soon know how many were actually left? If it is closer to 4500 than 200, then our Administration would have further egg on their faces and their credibility would continue to get hit.

Is that another possible reason why there is a standoff? Our State Department doesn't want the public to know exactly how many Americans are there. I wouldn't put anything past the Biden Government when it comes to dishonestly surrounding Afghanistan. But allowing Americans to remain in Afghanistan for any reason?
