Manchin clarifies his position

Manchin privately tells WH, colleagues he’ll back as little as $1T of Biden’s budget resolution: report
Sen. Joe Manchin has reportedly told the White House and colleagues that he plans on supporting as little as $1 trillion of President Biden’s $3.5 trillion rebuilding plan, which could be a damaging blow to the president’s ‘Build Back Better’ agenda.
The West Virginia Democrat has said he has some policy concerns, including the plan’s $400 billion earmarked for home caregivers, Axios’ Hans Nichols reported. Manchin’s office did not immediately respond to an after-hours email from Fox News
Sources told Axios that "at most" Manchin is willing to support up to $1.5 trillion in the package. The report also said Biden told reporters on Tuesday evening that Manchin, in the end, "has always been there."

The main problem here isn't that Manchin won't do the 3.5, but that many other Pelosi Squad loyalists won't ultimately back the bipartisan spending bill unless the Senate passes the 3.5 trillion dollar reconciliation bill. So this appears to be a situation that could unravel completely if Democrats are not careful.

The other issue is that everytime you read a story about Manchin, the story pretends that he is the only holdout. Same holds true that whenever you read a story about Sinema not following the Party line, you get a similar idea that she is the only one. The truth is that the Senate probably only has (at best) 48 votes for a 3.5 trillion dollar spending bill.

We will see how serious the far left liberal flank of the Party is when it comes to holding this grudge. They may cave in like a folding chair when push comes to shove, or they might decide to continue on this game of chicken.

Even spending another $2 trillion after already spending $2 trillion on Covid relief is obnoxious. We don't need to and cannot afford to spend more money right now. But, of course, it's quite literally the only thing the left knows how to do.

If the Democrats get public education increases to free community college, they will repeat

President Biden won about 60 percent of college-educated voters in 2020, including an outright majority of white college graduates, helping him run up the score in affluent suburbs and putting him over the top in pivotal states.

This was a significant voting bloc:

That's why they have to get Manchin

The President will work both sides Scott. And a reduction in costs and increase some tax increases

Turning K-12 public education to K-16 is not fucking infrastructure.

Manchin only supports $1 TRILLION because only $1 TRILLION is legitimately infrastructure. If that.

The rest is Green Nude Eel Marxist wish-list shit geared to pull the pin on a massive inflation grenade.

And good luck raising taxes when the middle class has already been crushed with core inflation.

The Democratic legislation doesn't raise taxes on the middle class.

The tax increases begin at $440,000 income per family.

$3.5 trillion too steep for some

That's by design, because the bill's final price tag is subject to negotiation, and it could come down.

Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., have said $3.5 trillion is too much. Depending on what the final number is, policy writers can find ways to lower the official cost by setting the expiration dates earlier for programs like cash-for-kids or ACA subsidies, two aides said.

Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., told reporters Tuesday that she believes all 50 Democratic-voting members, including Manchin, will ultimately come together.

"I don't have real concerns. I think Joe is doing what Joe needs to do for himself, for his state, and you're going to see other senators probably do some of this, as well," she said. "I think at the end of the day there'll be 50 votes. But I think we're going to go through a very healthy, loud family discussion about it."

MEET THE PRESSSeptember is set to be a defining month for Biden, congressional Democrats

Democrats will have to juggle the budget measure with several other must-pass bills in what is shaping up to be a jampacked month. They face a Sept. 30 cliff to fund the government and renew flood insurance, as well as a fall deadline to raise the debt ceiling.

Other provisions in the budget, such as funding for pandemic preparedness, remain unsettled and have been subject to negotiations between Democrats and the White House.

The Ways and Means Committee could consider tax legislation to pay for the package as early as next week, which will be contentious, facing internal disagreements and a blitz of lobbying on behalf of upper earners and corporations who stand to lose.

On Tuesday, Biden, who appeared with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., in Queens, New York, to survey the damage from Hurricane Ida, emphasized the climate change investments.

"The threat is here," Biden said. "We can stop it from getting worse.

"And when I talk about building back better — and Chuck is fighting for my program, our program, on the Hill," he said, adding that climate change is now "code red — the nation and the world are in peril."

What's in the $3.5 Trillion Democratic Proposal

The Democratic FY2022 Budget Resolution Agreement Framework memorandum is designed to enact President Biden's Build Back Better agenda. This proposal, often referred to as an investment in human infrastructure, is far-reaching and ambitious. It lists the following amounts and areas to be addressed:

$726 billion for the Health, Labor, Education, and Pensions Committee. This addresses universal pre-K for 3- and 4-year-olds, childcare for working families, tuition-free community college, funding for historically black colleges and universities, and an expansion of the Pell Grant for higher education.

https://www.investopedia.com/here-s-what-s-in-the-usd1-trillion-infrastructure-bill-passed-by-the-senate-5196817

So...

Let's do the math. Adding two years of pre-K on the front end and two years of Community College on the back end gives you...

*(12+4=16)*

K-16!

And lo and behold, it's in there!

Thanks for playing alky.

This was the fund that was bailing out BLM thugs.

But they didn't just bail out BLM thugs. They bailed out thugs generally.

This particular thug was a domestic abuser.

A bail fund once backed by Vice President Kamala Harris helped free an alleged domestic abuser who is now accused of murder.

The former U.S. Army major and self-described “soldier of Allah” behind the deadly 2009 massacre at Fort Hood cheered the resurgent Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan in a letter obtained exclusively by the Washington Examiner.

Writing from death row at Fort Leavenworth, Nidal Hasan boasted “We Have Won” and congratulated the Taliban. Hasan, who gunned down 14 people and wounded 43 more, urged the nascent terrorist government to implement its brand of brutal oppression under the guise of religion.

“Congratulations on your victory over those who hate for the Laws of All-Mighty God to be supreme on the land,” Hasan wrote in the letter, dated Aug. 18. “I pray to Allah that He helps you implement Shariah Law full, correctly and fairly.”

Secret Service Code name: IMBECILE -

JOE BIDEN often thinks he’s his own best messenger. Many people in his own White House don’t always agree.

When Biden gives public remarks, some White House staffers will either mute him or turn off his remarks, according to White House officials.

It’s not that they’re indifferent to what their boss has to say. Indeed, their livelihoods are directly invested in it. Rather, they’re filled with anxiety that he’s going to take questions from the press and veer off the West Wing’s carefully orchestrated messaging.

“I know people who habitually don’t watch it live for that reason,” said one current official.

Biden’s advisers have urged him to answer fewer of the questions being shouted at him by reporters covering his events. While the president sometimes obliges and quickly leaves the podium after remarks, he has a tendency to buck those staffers trying to rein him in. “I’m not supposed to take any questions, but go ahead,” he said after addressing FEMA the other week.

“A lot of times, we say, ‘Don’t take questions,'” press secretary JEN PSAKI told Democratic strategist DAVID AXELROD on his podcast in the spring. “But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the president of the United States.”

Biden is well-aware of his reputation as a “gaffe machine.” On the campaign trail, he’d often make a self-deprecating quip: “No one ever doubts that I mean what I say. The problem is, I sometimes say all that I mean.” He has also suggested, however, that his loquaciousness earns him credit from voters who appreciate his authenticity.

The 2020 election may have proved Biden’s point. But lately, his verbal miscues have been causing headaches for him and his team. Biden has delivered several self-inflicted wounds during freewheeling Q&A sessions that required immediate clean-up. On Afghanistan, he told reporters that a Taliban takeover of the country was “highly unlikely,” said Al Qaeda was “gone” from Afghanistan when it wasn’t, and declared that he’d seen “no question of our credibility” from allies when there had been a lot.

Biden has even flubbed scripted remarks, such as when he said the administration had evacuated 90 percent of Americans from Afghanistan when he was supposed to say 98 percent.

Top Democrat pollsters and strategists are beginning to realize the Biden administration is failing on nearly every challenge before the nation, including Afghanistan, increasing wages, border security, and coronavirus.

Pollster Paul Maslin told Politico Joe Biden’s presidency has turned into chaos with few if any redeeming features.

“There’s no good news here. This is all on his watch,” said Maslin, who worked Jimmy Carter and Howard Dean. “You can argue what he’s doing or not doing, but it’s almost irrelevant. If things are chaotic and wrong, it ain’t going to help him.”

Another Democrat strategist also told the outlet Biden was supposed to be a return to “normalcy.” Instead, the world is chaotic under Biden.

“When Biden was elected, it was supposed to be, ‘Oh, the adults are back in the room to take charge,’” the strategist said. “It turns out, we can’t do anything. Any Democratic strategist who thinks this is not going to impact the midterms or impact Biden being reelected, clearly they don’t know what the f— they’re talking about.”

Biden administration tells ex-Trump officials to resign from military academy advisory boards or be dismissed
By Andrew Kaczynski and Em Steck, CNN
Updated Sep 8, 2021
(CNN) - The Biden administration has told 11 officials appointed to military service academy advisory boards by former President Donald Trump to resign or be dismissed, a source familiar with the situation tells CNN's KFile.
The officials asked to resign include prominent former Trump officials like former White House press secretary Sean Spicer, former senior counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway and former national security adviser H.R. McMaster. They were appointed to the advisory boards of the Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and West Point respectively.
Other more prominent names include Heidi Stirrup, the former White House liaison to the Justice Department who was banned from entering the building after she attempted to access sensitive information about possible election fraud in December 2020, and retired Col. Douglas Macgregor, a former ambassador pick and Pentagon official with a history of controversial comments. The duo were appointed to the boards of the Air Force Academy and West Point.
Other appointees who have been asked to resign are Michael Wynne, who was appointed to the board of the Air Force Academy; retired Gen. John Keane, Meaghan Mobbs, and David Urban appointed to the board of West Point; and John Coale and Russell Vought, Trump's former director of the Office of Management and Budget, appointed to the Naval Academy's board.
The dismissal of Trump officials from the military advisory boards comes after the Pentagon has recently restarted its other advisory boards after removing hundreds of appointees from other boards in February. In November, just months ahead of when he was set to leave office, Trump dismissed several longstanding members of the Defense Policy Board ahead of their terms being up.
The military academy advisory boards, according to the Air Force Academy website, were established to oversee the "morale, discipline, social climate, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods, and other matters" relating to the nation's military academies. The board for each academy meets several times a year and its members provide independent advice and recommendations to the President.
The members typically serve out three-year terms. At least one Trump appointee, Vought, has signaled he will not resign.
"No. It's a three year term," Vought tweeted, attaching an image of the letter requesting his resignation.
When reached for comment by CNN, Spicer said he intends to respond to the resignation demand on his show. Wynne told CNN "it was an honor to be on the board," and said he was disappointed he wasn't asked to remain on the board.
"Very disappointed to see the Biden administration not honor a previous president's appointment to the board of visitors, which has been the tradition for years,"

Generally speaking, a nation where the civilian leadership fears its citizens and has lost the nation’s confidence, and where the senior military leadership has lost the confidence of those down the chain of command, is a nation in trouble.

Elsewhere, such circumstances would supply the dry tinder for a military coup. Fortunately, the United States is a bit more resistant. With so much of our government, and even our domestic military force, divided up among the states, a coup is much harder to pull off. And with our institutions, weakened as they are, still comparatively strong, we aren’t likely to see a “Seven Days in May” scenario in the near future.

But while unlikely, that scenario is now more likely than it used to be.

What the Sturgis Rally Tells Us About the Delta Variant
September 8, 2021 at 10:50 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

Dr. Ashish Jha: “If there were a place where this could have happened, it should have been Sturgis. The best data suggests that at least 75 percent of the entire South Dakota population has some degree of immunity against the virus: About half of South Dakotans have immunity because they’ve been infected by covid-19, and about half of the population has been vaccinated — some of whom have already had covid-19 when they got their shot, so there is some overlap between these two groups. South Dakota, despite its middling vaccination rates, probably has among the highest levels of population immunity in the nation, driven largely by horrifying winter outbreaks.

“That’s what makes Sturgis an important test. If it had gone off without big spikes in covid cases, it would have provided strong evidence that this level of population immunity — around 75 percent — would allow us to get back to the way we did things in 2019. But unfortunately, that’s not what happened.”

Fentanyl dealers should get the death penalty. The Biden administration has achieved new levels of incompetence.

The Biden White House proposed removing certain penalties associated with trafficking of fentanyl-related substances, prompting criticism that it would weaken illicit drug enforcement. https://foxnews.com/politics/white-house-fentanyl-penalties

Is Biden intentionally hurting America and enriching China ?

Sure looks that way

Capitol Police and DOJ refuse to make surveillance video public or fully available to J6 defendants.

What are they hiding? How their officers assaulted protesters and possibly contributed to the death of another female Trump supporter at the US Capitol:

Let's face it ... This traitorous State Department doesn't want privately funded groups rescuing Americans left in Afghanistan because it makes everyone realize what a total failure they are.

Joe Biden's America

15 FBI agents were sent to look at a garage pulley in Bubba Wallace's garage... How many will be sent to investigate the chick who dressed like a gorilla and threw eggs at Larry Elder? 1 junior officer?

A furious white Democrat hurling a projectile at a peaceful black Republican running for office.

This is the civil rights image of our era.

A perfect crystallization of the fascist left and the violence Democrats embrace in the name of power.

They Don't Care About Black Lives.

Majority of vaccinated Americans willing to get COVID-19 booster shot: poll

New York Post - 7 hours ago

The majority of vaccinated Americans are willing to get a COVID-19 booster shot, a new poll says.

Of the people who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, 77 percent have no problem with recommendations for getting a booster shot, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.

About 64 percent of Americans say they are still concerned about the threat of COVID-19 and 37 percent are “very concerned,” the poll found.

Eleven percent of those polled say they aren’t concerned about COVID-19 anymore.

The poll surveyed 1,000 adults in the United States online and via phone between Aug. 30 and 31.

The FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have so far only given the green light for booster shots for immunocompromised people who received either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

The plan to start offering booster shots to adults who received their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least eight months ago is still pending FDA approval.

The US has administered nearly 375 million vaccine doses thanks to Sleepy Joe Biden.
