Will Rogan sue CNN?

Joe Rogan inquiring about suing CNN for false allegations that he took horse dewormer

Sandmann made millions - Rogan could do the same

Obviously the idea of suing the media for reporting fake news can actually be a winning move. Nick Sandmann proved that there are lines in the media sand that cannot be crossed over. The issue with Sandmann was that CNN "should" have known what was going on, but lacked the desire to do any investigations what-so-ever.

With Joe Rogan, it is clear that CNN does actually know that Rogan was taking the prescription drug Ivermectin and that it was prescribed by his doctor. Rogan actually recovered quite quickly as many people have done after taking medications such as Ivermectin for Covid.

Yet, CNN insisted that Rogan was taking the horse dewormer in spite of knowing better. They did so with the intent of trying to make Rogan look foolish. At the end of they day, it is CNN who looks foolish. I sort of wish Rogan does sue. Just because it might actually make CNN and other media members to ten seconds of research before spreading lies.

Joe Rogan Bounces Back From COVID To Win Kentucky Derby

CHURCHILL DOWNS, KY—Ater making quick work of COVID thanks to wonder drug Ivermectin, Joe Rogan shocked the sporting world when he ran onto the track of the Kentucky Derby and outpaced every horse to win the competition by half a length.

"I don't know what came over me," snorted Rogan as he took a victory lap. "First I gave COVID the hind-kick, then I just got this overwhelming urge to head for the fields of Kentucky. Next thing I know I see my fellows out there lining up in the gates and I just had to get in the action, get in the slop."

The preamble to the race had been inauspicious, with wet conditions covering the grounds in mud. Just as the race was about to begin, spectators began yelling that someone had jumped the fence - but it was too late to stop the starter from opening the gates. As the cameras turned to what everyone assumed would be a run-of-the mill streaker, an audible gasp came over the crowd as it turned out to be Joe Rogan.

Following the race, Rogan graciously posed for a few pictures although he kept shuffling from side to side and shaking his head. "I feel like I need my hair brushed, I think I'm going to head on - nay, I think I'll stay a little longer, just got a craving for oatmeal and peanut butter!"

Sources report that Rogan has committed to going for the Triple Crown, although he has demanded nice new shoes before the Preakness. Sadly, Rogan was stripped of his Derby championship after testing positive for DMT, THC, LSD, PCP, but notably was negative for worms.

You still believe the horse treatment are good news

He should sue The The FDA

COVID-19. We’ve been living with it for what sometimes seems like forever. Given the number of deaths that have occurred from the disease, it’s perhaps not surprising that some consumers are turning to drugs not approved or authorized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

One of the FDA’s jobs is to carefully evaluate the scientific data on a drug to be sure that it is both safe and effective for a particular use. In some instances, it can be highly dangerous to use a medicine for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 that has not been approved or has not received emergency use authorization by the FDA.

There seems to be a growing interest in a drug called ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans. Certain animal formulations of ivermectin such as pour-on, injectable, paste, and "drench," are approved in the U.S. to treat or prevent parasites in animals. For humans, ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses to treat some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea.

However, the FDA has received multiple reports of patients who have required medical attention, including hospitalization, after self-medicating with ivermectin intended for livestock.

Here’s What You Need to Know about IvermectinThe FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19 in humans or animals. Ivermectin is approved for human use to treat infections caused by some parasitic worms and head lice and skin conditions like rosacea.Currently available data do not show ivermectin is effective against COVID-19. Clinical trials assessing ivermectin tablets for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in people are ongoing.Taking large doses of ivermectin is dangerous. If your health care provider writes you an ivermectin prescription, fill it through a legitimate source such as a pharmacy, and take it exactly as prescribed. Never use medications intended for animals on yourself or other people. Animal ivermectin products are very different from those approved for humans. Use of animal ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans is dangerous. What is Ivermectin and How is it Used?

Ivermectin tablets are approved by the FDA to treat people with intestinal strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, two conditions caused by parasitic worms. In addition, some topical forms of ivermectin are approved to treat external parasites like head lice and for skin conditions such as rosacea.

Some forms of animal ivermectin are approved to prevent heartworm disease and treat certain internal and external parasites. It’s important to note that these products are different from the ones for people, and safe only when used in animals as prescribed.

When Can Taking Ivermectin Be Unsafe?

The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19 in people or animals. Ivermectin has not been shown to be safe or effective for these indications.

There’s a lot of misinformation around, and you may have heard that it’s okay to take large doses of ivermectin. It is not okay.

Even the levels of ivermectin for approved human uses can interact with other medications, like blood-thinners. You can also overdose on ivermectin, which can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hypotension (low blood pressure), allergic reactions (itching and hives), dizziness, ataxia (problems with balance), seizures, coma and even death.

Notice on the Continuation of the National Emergency with Respect to Foreign Interference in or Undermining Public Confidence in United States Elections

SEPTEMBER 07, 2021PRESIDENTIAL ACTIONS

On September 12, 2018, by Executive Order 13848, the President declared a national emergency pursuant to the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 etseq.) to deal with the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States constituted by the threat of foreign interference in or undermining public confidence in United States elections.

Although there has been no evidence of a foreign power altering the outcomes or vote tabulation in any United States election, foreign powers have historically sought to exploit America’s free and open political system.  In recent years, the proliferation of digital devices and internet-based communications has created significant vulnerabilities and magnified the scope and intensity of the threat of foreign interference.  The ability of persons located, in whole or in substantial part, outside the United States to interfere in or undermine public confidence in United States elections, including through the unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure or the covert distribution of propaganda and disinformation, continues to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.  For this reason, the national emergency declared on September 12, 2018, must continue in effect beyond September 12, 2021.  Therefore, in accordance with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13848 with respect to the threat of foreign interference in or undermining public confidence in United States elections.

Jim Jordan sets himself up for an absolutely DEVASTATING put down:

Jim Jordan Says Vaccine Mandates Are ‘Un-American’

September 7, 2021 at 6:13 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard 85 Comments

“At a time when the delta variant’s summer surge has renewed the nation’s divisions over coronavirus vaccines, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Monday said mandates enforcing vaccination do not reflect what it means to be American,” the Washington Post reports.

Tweeted Jordan:
“Vaccine mandates are un-American.”

“But critics panned Jordan’s Labor Day message as being off — way off — by nearly 2½ centuries.

George Washington, the commander in chief of the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War, made the bold decision in 1777 to require that his troops be immunized after a smallpox outbreak devastated the nation.”
________

So according to Jim Jordan, George Washington was UNAMERICAN to REQUIRE that.

(So now let's watch Ch will try to pretzel out of that one.)

Official Who Denied Pandemic Now In Hospital

September 7, 2021 at 5:19 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

Fred Lowry (R),
a councilman for Florida’s Volusia County and a vocal coronavirus denier,
is in the hospital with a severe case of Covid-19, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reports.

Lowry attracted controversy this summer for promoting conspiracy theories, including saying the coronavirus pandemic was a lie.
______

A "lie" that is now threatening his life.

THIRD CASE IN POINT:
If You Get Pregnant After Being Raped In Texas
September 7, 2021 at 4:14 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

When asked why women who are raped and get pregnant must carry the babies to term under the new Texas law, Gov. Greg Abbott (R) pushed back saying the women still have six weeks to get an abortion.

Then he further justified the law saying he was going to eliminate rape in Texas by arresting all rapists.
________

How will he do that?

Will he go about the streets calling out, "All you potential rapists, please raise your hands so I can arrest you"?

Yes Roger...

Are you smart enough to understand that the FDA not approving the drug doesn't have anything to do with whether or not Joe Rogan took the Horse dewormer?

His doctor prescribed ivermectin to him. He took it from the prescription filled in a pharmacy.

The FDA probably has not "approved" Hydroxychloroquine either, yet about 80% of the world is using it as a treatment for Covid.

So there is obviously some disagreement between the United States FDA and medical doctors across the globe.

Even the University of Minnesota (a well respected medical research school) has seen positive effects from ivermectin in treating Covid. Several other studies have suggested the same thing. The CDC website links these studies and suggests that the CDC is neither recommending or not recommending ivermectin.

So are you really, really, really listening to "science".

Or are you relying EXCLUSIVELY on the FDA?

Because it seems like you are behaving like all liberals. You find one source that backs your view, you ignore any other sources that do not, and then demand you are listening to "science" when in fact "science" is fluid and full of disagreement in many of these subjects.

HOW OTHERS SEE US

The U.S. press is trying to pretend that everything is normal, Afghanistan is a blip on the screen, and Joe Biden has some idea what he is doing. The foreign press, and foreign commentators and politicians, have been much blunter in assessing recent events. Thus, the Telegraph reports: “Britain should ‘fill the void’ left by US as global leader after Afghanistan withdrawal.”

Boris Johnson has been told to order a “complete overhaul of Whitehall” so that Britain can fill the void of global leadership left by the US.

Tobias Ellwood, the chairman of the defence select committee, said the withdrawal from Afghanistan raised the prospect that terrorism would “once again be allowed to thrive and the limits of UK and western influence exposed”.

The Tory MP noted that with America’s new “isolationist policy,” it was “a dangerous geopolitical turning point”.

He added: “If Britain wants to fill that void – as we should do — it will require a complete overhaul of Whitehall, upgrade of our strategic thinking, our foreign policy output and our ability to lead.”

The geo-political fall-out of the last month dominated the Commons debate, with Andrew Mitchell, the former international development secretary, saying Britain was “now in a pivotal position”, because of our membership of the UN Security Council.

The Brits are correct that the Biden administration’s incompetence has created a power vacuum, but the idea that they will be the ones to fill it seems much too optimistic.

And if you live in Texas you can be a bounty hunter!

Conservatives are among the most concerned groups, with 62% saying they expect the pandemic to change the country for the worse, compared with 47% of moderates and 44% of liberals. Top Democrats have also been flirting with the idea of adding action on the debt limit to that package, a move that would further squeeze Republicans who have pledged zero cooperation as the Treasury Department nears a breaking point on the nation’s borrowing limit.

“The combination would present a triple threat, daring GOP lawmakers to go on record in opposition to aid for disaster-hit communities, staving off a debt default that could throw financial markets into chaos and preventing a government shutdown.”

A September Slowdown for the Economy
September 8, 2021 at 6:39 am EDT By Taegan Goddard 23 Comments

“The U.S. economy is facing a slowdown in September, rather than the takeoff once hoped for,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“Earlier this summer, many economists saw the week of Labor Day as the moment when the economic recovery would kick into high gear. Their expectation was that widespread vaccination would ease labor shortages. Schools and offices would reopen, which would mean a comeback for local businesses reliant on office workers. Travel would rebound. Stevie Nicks would be back on tour.

“Instead, the rise of Covid’s Delta variant has the nation tapping the brakes.”

The DOJ is under pressure from the Democrats to deal with the Texas law on abortion rights.

The idea of using the prosecutorial powers of the Justice Department to take on the Texas law gained traction this weekend through an opinion essay in The Washington Post by the constitutional scholar Laurence H. Tribe. The best way for Democrats to protect abortion rights is for Congress to pass a law, Mr. Tribe argued. But he said that Democrats likely do not have enough votes in Congress and warned that the Supreme Court could overturn such a law anyway.

Instead, Mr. Tribe said, Mr. Garland has the power to take legal action against those who seek to deprive someone of their constitutional rights.

Mr. Tribe said that the law Mr. Garland needed to use had been passed in the years after the Civil War to stop members of the Ku Klux Klan from lynching Black people and trying to stop them from voting.

“The attorney general should announce, as swiftly as possible, that he will use federal law to the extent possible to deter and prevent bounty hunters from employing the Texas law,” Mr. Tribe wrote. “If Texas wants to empower private vigilantes to intimidate abortion providers from serving women, why not make bounty hunters think twice before engaging in that intimidation?”

But Brian Fallon, the executive director of the progressive group Demand Justice, which advocates expanding the number of seats on the Supreme Court, called on Democrats to focus on that larger target, saying it could affect myriad policy issues.

“That’s a problem that is much bigger and harder to solve, and a lot of people continue to avoid it all together,” Mr. Fallon said. “The current reality is there will be further innovations beyond the Texas statute that we can expect in the months and years to come.”

FRANK TALK FROM JAMES AND FROM
THE WASHINGTON POST
Democracy Dies in Darkness

Opinion by David Ignatius:
Biden needs to turn the page from a painful August

Labor Day always feels like the start of a new year — as classes begin, the season turns, and the joys and miseries of summer recede. The Biden administration badly needs that sort of new beginning.

This was a painful August for President Biden. He promised competent government, restored international leadership, an end to the covid-19 pandemic and a resurgent economy. But after last month’s chaotic exit from Afghanistan, a coronavirus spike caused by the delta variant, and a slowdown in job growth, those pledges seem questionable. Polls show a significant drop in Biden’s approval rating.

We’re living in a seesaw world.
Biden got off to a fast start in his first six months, with coronavirus infections falling sharply and the economy rapidly gaining strength. After his June trip to Europe, Biden’s line, “America is back,” seemed plausible. But trend lines are fickle, with politics and pandemics. A bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan amplified other bad news, and Biden’s presidency suddenly seemed to be sputtering.

“This administration is about covid and competence, and we’ve got to show strength on both,” says a senior White House official. He argues that the administration overperformed on expectations in the first half of the year. “In August, maybe we underperformed,” he concedes.

Biden knows he needs to restore confidence at home and abroad this fall to revive his presidency from the August doldrums. He plans a major speech on Thursday outlining new measures to deal with the pandemic — to boost vaccination rates, safeguard workplaces and bend the curve on infections.

The larger challenge for the White House is to show that government can function effectively, despite partisan divisions. That was Biden’s signature campaign theme, and the legislative test was Biden’s two-pronged attempt to “build back better,” as his slogan put it, through a $1.2 trillion infrastructure package and a $3.5 trillion social spending plan.

“We have to prove democracy still works — that our government still works, and we can deliver for our people,” Biden told a joint session of Congress in April, in proposing his two initiatives. That remains the challenge, but Biden doesn’t have a lot of time.

The domestic budget negotiations, weirdly, seem to be the hardest part of the job. Forget about Biden’s early promises of bipartisanship; right now he just needs to lead his own party. That means threading the needle between progressives who are demanding all of the $3.5 trillion in new social spending and moderates who say they won’t support such a big package.

Honest, decent, truthful Rev. said...

The Senate passed the bipartisan infrastructure bill in early August, and Biden ought to pocket that win. But moderate and progressive Democrats have been playing a game of chicken ever since over the size of the social spending package. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has promised a vote on the infrastructure package by Sept. 27, and Democrats would be very stupid if they let it slip away because of internal bickering.

Biden’s task is to break the logjam and get a social-spending bill through the budget reconciliation process that will pass both houses. This ought to be his sweet spot, as a career politician and self-proclaimed dealmaker. The White House is keeping mum, saying nice things about progressives and moderates both, but soon it will be time for knocking heads and cutting deals.

It seems obvious that a consensus budget deal will have to focus on the things Americans appear to want most —
my list would include greater tax fairness,
measures to reduce climate change,
lower costs for prescription drugs,
greater access to community colleges and education, generally
— and save some other measures for later.
Passing such legislation might save the House and Senate for the Democrats in 2022. Otherwise, forget it.

Competence begins at home. But the White House wants to demonstrate that despite anger overseas about the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, allies still need and want U.S. leadership.
Look for a Biden push on vaccine diplomacy at the U.N. General Assembly this month, a major new initiative with "Quad" partners in Asia (India, Japan and Australia) and a new effort to galvanize the “techno-democracies” through the October meeting of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

The White House was battered last month by bad luck, bad policy and bad implementation. The surprising thing, given this gut-wrenching reversal for an administration that had been riding high, is the relative lack of internal backbiting. In other administrations, the leaks by now would have been flowing like a fire hose.

Biden’s inner team sometimes seems more like a Senate staff than a typical elbows-out administration. Congeniality has its advantages. But when mistakes happen, as they did in August, problems need to get fixed. Otherwise, the boss — and perhaps dozens of Democratic legislators — will pay the price.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has the power, under federal civil rights laws, to go after any vigilantes who employ the Texas law to seek bounties from abortion providers or others who help women obtain abortions.

The attorney general should announce, as swiftly as possible, that he will use federal law to the extent possible to deter and prevent bounty hunters from employing the Texas law. If Texas wants to empower private vigilantes to intimidate abortion providers from serving women, why not make bounty hunters think twice before engaging in that intimidation?

Story continues below advertisement

For example, Section 242 of the federal criminal code makes it a crime for those who, “under color of law,” willfully deprive individuals “of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.”

Opinion by O. Carter Snead | The road to normalcy on abortion: Allow the American people to govern themselves on the issue

This statute — originally designed to go after the Ku Klux Klan — fits the Texas situation perfectly: The bounty seekers, entitled under the Texas law to collect penalties of at least $10,000, have been made, in effect, private attorneys general of Texas. They act “under color of state law,” and unless and until Roe v. Wade is overruled, they unmistakably intend to prevent the exercise of a constitutional right.

In addition, Section 241 of the federal criminal code makes it an even more serious crime for “two or more persons” to agree to “oppress, threaten, or intimidate” anyone “in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same.” This crime may be committed even by individuals not found to be acting “under color of law” but as purely private vigilantes, as long as they’re acting in concert with others.

Again, the Texas scheme could hardly be more perfectly designed to match the language of that section. The whole point of the Texas law, after all, is to intimidate abortion providers and others by threatening them with penalties of at least $10,000, plus legal fees, in the form of bounties to be paid to the vigilante. Even jurists who believe the Constitution does not protect abortion rights might be given pause by this seizure of private property, with unlimited penalties not tied to any actual harm suffered by the bounty hunter.

It would be particularly fitting — in tune not just with the letter but the spirit of the law — to use the Ku Klux Klan Act in this way. After all, the statute was enacted in 1871, in the aftermath of the Civil War, precisely to prevent Klansmen from lynching and other attacks on formerly enslaved Black citizens, including to prevent them from exercising their constitutional right to vote. As the Klan rampaged in the former Confederacy, Southern states didn’t simply turn a blind eye to its vigilante justice but encouraged it.

In addition to these criminal provisions, there are civil actions available under federal law, including the ability to seek and obtain court orders to halt the illegal state scheme. The Justice Department can’t directly use the civil provisions of the Ku Klux Klan Act; only the injured party can. But the All Writs Act, which permits federal courts to “issue all writs necessary or appropriate in aid of their respective jurisdictions” could allow the department to go to court to seek an order blocking the Texas law from being enforced.

The Justice Department is understandably reluctant to announce particular investigations or prosecutions before pinning down more details than are yet available. But, at some point, the need to disarm those who cynically undermine constitutional rights while ducking all normal avenues for challenging their assault on the rule of law becomes paramount.

We have arrived at that point.

Archbishop Cordileone: It’s Not Political, Catholics Must Fight Abortion Like They Fought Segregation

Pastors who “speak softly” about the brutal murder of more than 60 million children should instead mimic Catholic leaders who boldly challenged racial segregation in the 1950s, said the Archbishop of San Francisco Salvatore J. Cordileone.

In a Washington Post op-ed, Cordileone condemned Catholic politicians who use their platforms and power to bolster abortion and anti-life sentiments. Some of the highest-ranking American politicians — including President Joe Biden and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi — proclaim their Catholic “faith” while pushing for abortion laws that go against the church they claim to be a part of.

After the Supreme Court ruled to at least temporarily allow a Texas law that protects babies with a detectable heartbeat from abortion, self-described Catholic politicians openly opposed the ruling.

“I find it especially disturbing that so many of the politicians on the wrong side of the preeminent human rights issue of our time are self-professed Catholics. This is a perennial challenge for bishops in the United States: This summer, we provoked an uproar by discussing whether public officials who support abortion should receive the sacrament of the Eucharist,” Cordileone said. “We were accused of inappropriately injecting religion into politics, of butting in where we didn’t belong.”
