You know how those phone carriers state that they have coverage in 99.9% of the United States?

Well hwy 227 between I90 and I94 in Montana makes up most of that 0.1% that is missing coverage!

File this under both first world problem and how did we get along before cell phones, but I went about 40 miles or so without 5G, 4G, or any G at all, not to mention any actual cell phone service. Now I occasionally find times here and there in my travels when the internet service might be shaky, but at least I have bars if I would need to make a call. But you are in the middle of nowhere and at one time I went 10 minutes without seeing another vehicle. Sort of post apocalyptic feeling. That would not be the place to have your car breakdown.

All that being said I spent the night in Billings and am headed off to Spokane today. There may have been a time when I would have driven longer, but with a 13 year old puppy and my own 50 something body, it's just easier to break it up. By Sunday I should be in Seattle.

If you aren't carrying any water bottles you should be OK against the government taking you out with a drone strike

Then again your politics may mitigate that

Good luck

An entire family in Afghanistan was extinguished to prevent Joe Biden from having to endure a news cycle accusing him of weakness in the face of the attack at Kabul Airport, accompanied by lies from his Pentagon/CIA and his media about who was killed.

Evan Hill

The final act of the U.S. war in Afghanistan was a drone strike in Kabul that killed 10 people. Our latest investigation shows how a man the military saw as an "imminent threat" and "ISIS facilitator" was actually an aid worker returning to his family:
