And no... not talking about how Biden will be going back the Trump's stay in Mexico policy... although that is another one!
We all know that travel bans are racist; Old Joe Biden told us so himself. He tweeted on February 1, 2020: “Trump further diminished the U.S. in the eyes of the world by expanding his travel ban. This new ‘African Ban,’ is designed to make it harder for black and brown people to immigrate to the United States. It’s a disgrace, and we cannot let him succeed.”
Now that Biden’s handlers, possibly even including the wonk who actually composed that tweet, are in charge, all that systemic racism is being swept away, and for that we can all be grateful. Or at least we could be until Friday, when Biden’s handlers announced a plan to follow in Trump’s footsteps and ban travel from eight countries in Africa in order to fight what is being presented as a dangerous new variant of the coronavirus.
Apparently it's much easier to sit on the sidelines and bitch and criticize about what the President is doing, then actually being President. Otherwise, how can anyone explain how Dementia Joe already forgot that travel bans are racist? At least they are racist when someone other than Joe Biden imposes them!
Now much like the decision to reimplement the stay in Mexico policy to the complete and total failure at the border, apparently we are learning that Trump policies are simply superior to Biden policies! Pretty much across the board.

Trump Says Top General Should Be Tried for Treason
“Former President Donald Trump put out a statement on Friday saying that Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, should be ‘tried for treason’ — a crime punishable by death — for taking steps to prevent a war with China during the Trump presidency,” Insider reports.
“In his lengthy statement, Trump skewered the contents of the book Peril by The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward and Robert Costa and called Milley ‘one of the dumber generals in the military.’”
Said Trump: “Does anybody really believe that longtime Con Man Bob Woodward, and his lightweight lapdog assistant Robert Costa, are implying in their book of fiction that I was planning to go to war with China, but that one of the dumber generals in the military called the Chinese to tell them that he will inform them if this action proceeds further. Milley may have called, but if so, he should be tried for treason.”

Column: Socking Trump's enablers where it counts — in their wallets

Former President Trump and his enablers continue to push the "Big Lie" of rampant voter fraud. (Associated Press)
As the holiday season begins, let's raise a glass, a drumstick, a latke — or all three! — to a magistrate judge in Colorado by the name of N. Reid Neureiter.
Earlier this week, Neureiter ordered two attorneys to pay nearly $190,000 to the defendants they targeted in a meritless and irresponsible lawsuit claiming fraud in the November 2020 election — a wholly above-board exercise that resulted in the clear-cut and irrefutable defeat of the nation's 45th president.
Here's hoping the action by the U.S. district court judge sets a precedent that spreads widely through the land, as former President Trump and his enablers continue to push the "Big Lie" of rampant voter fraud and seek to undermine the legitimacy of the current chief executive.
It's one thing to market that mendacity to fleece donors, salve the former president's velveteen ego or build an audience on Fox News, OAN or other Trumpaganda media outlets. Things are different in a court of law, and must be.
Attorneys Gary D. Fielder and Ernest John Walker filed suit in Denver in December 2020, supposedly on behalf of 160 million American voters, alleging a vast conspiracy to steal the 2020 election. They accused, among others, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and the company Dominion Voting Systems, a manufacturer of voting equipment and a favorite target of the tin-foil hat crowd. The attorneys asked for $160 billion in damages, and why not?
The case was — surprise! — dismissed in April, but Neureiter wasn't finished with the litigious duo. He hauled the attorneys up for a hearing last summer to consider possible sanctions. He asked if it occurred to the co-counsel — Walker, a former government lawyer; Fielder, a onetime local prosecutor — that they were being used by Trump to spread his self-serving propaganda?
Neureiter observed, per the Washington Post, that Trump's own attorney general, William Barr, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency were among the many election overseers that found no evidence whatever of widespread fraud or voting-machine tampering. That, Neureiter told the attorneys, should have been a “red light" or "at least a flashing yellow light” that more investigation was merited before they filed their fatuous lawsuit.
But Fielder said the two had a “good faith” belief the election was stolen by Joe Biden and fellow Democrats, based on theories put forth by various other attorneys and Trump allies, including MyPillow Chief Executive and fabulist Mike Lindell.
“These are serious allegations," Fielder said, "made by serious people."
(While they were at it, Fielder and his co-counsel might have consulted the works of Dr. Seuss, who had some interesting and authoritative things to say about Lorax and Sneetches, which would have held just as much water and benefit to their case.)
Neureiter issued a stinging rebuke in his ruling Monday, ordering Fielder and Walker to pay various sums to Facebook (since rebranded as Meta), Dominion Voting Systems and others.

In a historical context is
Seig Heil Mr Trump.
The US Capitol police reported earlier this year that the agency had seen a 107% increase in threats against members compared with 2020. The USCP chief, Tom Manger, has said he expects the total number of threats against members to surpass 9,000 this year, compared with 3,939 such threats in 2017.
Some of those threats have been on vivid display in the past month. In addition to Gosar’s violent video, the 13 House Republicans who voted in support of the bipartisan infrastructure bill earlier month have received threatening messages.
Representative Fred Upton of Michigan publicly shared one such message, in which a man called the Republican congressman a “fucking piece of shit traitor”. “I hope you die. I hope everybody in your fucking family dies,”
And those kinds of threats are not reserved solely for members of Congress. Election workers and school board members also say they are receiving more violent messages. According to an April survey commissioned by the Brennan Center for Justice, nearly one in three election officials are concerned about their safety while on the job.
The threat of violence is really to intimidate people from doing their jobs and upholding their oath of office,”

Trump Says Top General Should Be Tried for Treason

Trump Endorses Down the Ballot In Michigan
November 27, 2021 at 7:37 am EST By Taegan Goddard 13 Comments
NBC News:
“It’s unusual for a former president to endorse in races so deep down the ballot, especially nearly nine months before the Republican primary. But Trump has backed seven candidates for state House or Senate seats in Michigan, an electoral battleground that he lost narrowly to Joe Biden last year — more than anywhere else. Most of the endorsements, including Rocha’s, were announced in recent weeks. All of the candidates have one thing in common: They’ve made election administration and investigating last year’s vote central to their platforms.”
“Trump’s focus on the state illuminates just how driven he is to exact revenge on those who haven’t supported his baseless claim that the last election was stolen from him. It’s also a play to install allies who could be helpful should he run for president again in 2024 and find himself locked in another close race.”

Biden Struggles to Find Balance on Immigration
November 27, 2021 at 8:00 am EST By Taegan Goddard 1 Comment
Associated Press: “Democrats wielded demands to fix the nation’s broken immigration system as a cudgel against Republicans in the 2020 campaign. Elect us, went the argument, and we’ll stop the cruel treatment of migrants at the border, and put in place lasting and humane policies that work.”
“A year into Joe Biden’s presidency, though, action on the issue has been hard to find and there is growing consternation privately among some in the party that the Biden administration can’t find the right balance on immigration.”
Biden on the Loose
November 27, 2021 at 8:02 am EST By Taegan Goddard 3 Comments
Associated Press: “Biden spent more than an hour walking around downtown Nantucket’s cobblestone streets, popping unannounced into quaint mom-and-pop shops, appearing to make purchases and posing for photos with surprised business owners…”
“Biden’s stroll around downtown was reminiscent of a period during Barack Obama’s presidency when he rebelled against the limits that come with occupying the Oval Office. Modern presidents generally do not get around on foot.”
While our dementia president remains oblivious to the shit storm swirling around him from his disastrous policies in energy, border, economic, foreign and health, that idiot tells the nation on Thanksgiving that America is back.

Vaccines Still Likely to Work Against Omicron Variant
November 27, 2021 at 7:00 am EST By Taegan Goddard 29 Comments
The New York Times says “vaccines are expected to provide some protection against Omicron because they stimulate not only antibodies but immune cells that can attack infected cells… Mutations to the spike protein do not blunt that immune-cell response.”
“And booster shots could potentially broaden the range of antibodies people make, enabling them to fight against new variants like Omicron.”
“For now, there’s no evidence that Omicron causes more severe disease than previous variants. And it’s also not clear yet how quickly Omicron can spread from person to person.”

The World Reacts to the Omicron Variant
November 27, 2021 at 6:52 am EST By Taegan Goddard 5 Comments
New York Times: “The W.H.O. and scientists on multiple continents cautioned that very little is known yet about the Omicron variant, or about whether the dangers it poses will justify the fears it is stoking. South African scientists announced its existence on Wednesday, and the number of cases definitively identified, all of them within the past three weeks, is still small, under 100.”
“But the swift global responses demonstrated that after nearly two years of facing accusations that they were too slow and timid in tackling the pandemic, many policymakers would rather risk overreacting to a new threat than under-reacting.”

The conclusion of the LA Times article cited at 5:50am is also WORTH READING.
Neureiter issued a stinging rebuke in his ruling Monday, ordering Fielder and Walker to pay various sums to Facebook (since rebranded as Meta), Dominion Voting Systems and others.
“I believe that rather than a legitimate use of the legal system to seek redress for redressable grievances, this lawsuit has been used to manipulate gullible members of the public and foment public unrest,” the judge wrote. “To that extent, this lawsuit has been an abuse of the legal system and an interference with the machinery of government. For all these reasons, I feel that a significant sanctions award is merited.”
Fielder responded with a statement calling the judge’s decision “unfathomable” and noted that Neureiter’s dismissal of the underlying case has been appealed.
“We are not going to stop fighting for the rights of the people to vote in free and fair presidential elections,” Fielder said. “This is the cross to die on.”
How chivalrous.
For the record, numerous state and federal judges, including some put on the bench by Trump, have dismissed more than 50 groundless lawsuits challenging the election and its outcome. (Apart from the deceit involved, there is also the matter of clogging a badly overburdened court system with such obviously frivolous and time-wasting lawsuits. Some civil litigants wait years to see the inside of a courtroom.)
In August, a federal judge in Michigan sanctioned Sidney Powell, Lin Wood and other Trump attorneys for filing one of those many specious lawsuits. In addition to imposing legal fees, the judge ordered them to take classes on election law and urged their bar associations to investigate whether the lawyers should be suspended or disbarred.
Earlier in the summer, New York’s highest court temporarily suspended Rudolph W. Giuliani’s law license for his role peddling the former president’s prevarications.
But Giuliani and other Trump acolytes have shown repeatedly they care not about things like truthfulness, integrity, personal dignity and whatever remains of their soiled reputations.
For that reason it’s worth toasting Neureiter’s decision to slap a price tag on the spread of Trump’s Big Lie. Maybe dollars and cents will prove a deterrent.
Cheers.

Georgia's Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger used an op-ed piece on the economy Friday to thrash Donald Trump for his obsession with overturning the 2020 election results.
The commentary -- prominently displayed at NationalReview.com-- dispensed with the customary deference Republicans give Trump at all costs. Instead, it began with this headline:
"One Year Ago, Trump Called Me an 'Enemy of the People.' Rising Costs and Inflation Are the Real Enemy." That was followed by this: "While some on the right remain focused on the last election, liberals in Washington are pushing an inflationary agenda that hurts workers and businesses."
Raffensperger's piece criticized Democratic policies on policy grounds as if this were an earlier century. But the old-school approach was prefaced by an attack on Trump more in keeping with the present day. Raffensperger used the occasion of the holiday season to go right after the nemesis who has rendered him a pariah in his political party:
"While most Americans sat down to eat their Thanksgiving meals last year, I was looking forward to a few moments of peace with my family during what had been a chaotic few weeks," Raffensperger wrote. "Georgia's county and local elections officials had already counted the ballots in the presidential election twice, including once by hand, and had just started the third and final recount. All three counts affirmed Joe Biden as the winner of Georgia's presidential contest.
"Yet my Thanksgiving was interrupted by news that President Donald Trump had called me an "enemy of the people" purely because I stood up for the integrity of Georgia's elections. I refused to bend to the pressure and, on America's day of thanks, this was the thanks I got.
"In the year since, a signature audit and numerous investigations into allegations of fraud have turned up nothing. No one has come forward with evidence of any widespread scheme to steal the election. The courts have reaffirmed the results in Georgia time and time again. A year later, I am even firmer in my conviction that Georgia's elections were accurate and secure.
"This reality has not stopped Trump and his supporters from obsessing over an election that Trump's own Department of Homeland Security called "the most secure in American history."
"And, in doing so, they have failed to focus on the real enemy Americans are facing: inflation, rising costs, and the bad policies that have created them."
The op-ed went on to read like a typical Republican politician attacking Democrats over policy differences. But most readers are unlikely to remember that as much as the Thanksgiving broadside on the last guy.
Trump is facing a ramped-up criminal investigation over his infamous post-election calls to Raffensperger asking the secretary to state "to find 11,887 votes." Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is moving toward convening a special grand jury on the matter,

Prohibiting brown people from coming to the US. Disgusting and racist as hell.
For the record, numerous state and federal judges, including some put on the bench by Trump, have dismissed more than 50 groundless lawsuits challenging the election and its outcome.
Not groundless. The issue is standing. Apparently the court is saying that no candidate has no standing to challenge the results of an election no matter how legitimate the underlying issues.
This defies common sense as no one has more interest in the outcome of an election than a candidate.
Not groundless. The issue is standing.
Precisely. And "standing" is just a way for a cowardly court to weasel out of hearing the case.
That's all this ever was no matter how the critics want to lie and spin it.
Apparently the Republicans have become the party of violence .
The case of Kyle Rittenhouse, acquitted in the 2020 murders of two men amid chaos on the streets of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is ominous for the peaceful resolution of political disagreements. The sense of menace arises less from the utterly misguided 17-year-old shooter, or his complete escape from justice, than from the celebration by Republicans and "conservatives" of Rittenhouse and even of the killings he perpetrated.
This telling moment heightens the feeling of apprehension provoked by recurring threats and incidents of actual violence emanating from the far right and then justified, usually with indignant enthusiasm, by Republican elected officials at the highest level. The anger and hatred that have long simmered within that party are rapidly devolving into homicidal rage.
Consider the matter of Rep. Paul Gosar R-AR), who posted a video that depicted him murdering his colleague Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and attempting to kill President Joe Biden with swords. Gosar's fantasy bloodbath resulted in his censure. (This offensive cartoon wasn't even original, ripping off an identical 2016 meme that showed "Donald Trump" attacking "Hillary Clinton.")

The Democrats have brought back America
We are not the only ones who use Thanksgiving as an opportunity to reflect on the past year — the good, the bad and the ugly. And it has been a tough year, with many ups and downs on both a personal and professional level for us.
But one thing that unequivocally has been a bright spot in the past year was that Democrats took charge of the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate. It certainly hasn’t been perfect — we are not Pollyannas — but there is so much for which to be thankful that never would have been delivered under a Republican administration.
We can explain it simply. Imagine your house was struck by lightning. What would you do? Would you rebuild it just as it was, with the same dripping faucet in the bathroom, leaky roof, or sticking door? Would you choose new guest room wallpaper as faded as the old, and ignore the outdated wiring that transformed a lightning strike into a house fire?
Of course, you wouldn’t. No one would restore former faults. You'd “build back better.”
That’s exactly what the House did by voting to pass President Biden’s Build Back Better Act, which Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) aptly described as the “third leg of a three-legged stool.” The legislation — combined with the American Rescue Plan and the bipartisan infrastructure bill — could reimagine our nation as we can be, not simply as we are.
“The Build Back Better Act will repair some longstanding faults, many of which have been exacerbated by COVID-19 and our feckless early response to it,” Clyburn said. “The coronavirus pandemic didn’t just cause great harm for some; it exposed great harm that existed for far too long, denying far too many of our citizens access to America’s greatness.”
Consider the matter of Rep. Paul Gosar R-AR), who posted a video that depicted him murdering his colleague Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and attempting to kill President Joe Biden with swords.
Better yet, consider the matter of Steve Scalise, R, LA, who narrowly escaped death when Bernie Bro and Ralph Maddow fanboi James Hodgkinson opened fire on on a baseball field full of congressional republicans with an AR-15.
Apparently the Republicans have become the party of violence .
Apparently the democrats ARE the party of violence.

This can be considered an American vision — which is exactly what we need at Thanksgiving.
That said, the state of the nation is not all good news. Americans are grappling with inflation that just hit a 31-year high. Prices have increased 6.2 percent over the past 12 months, and most Americans say the price of groceries and gas qualifies as a crisis. While President Biden ordered the Department of Energy to release 50 million barrels of oil from strategic reserves, to try to offset high gas prices, that won’t alleviate the pain for long, considering U.S. oil usage is roughly 20 million barrels per day.
These are very real pain points for the American people and no doubt factored into the dismal showing for Democrats on election night this month in Virginia. But, regarding supply chain issues that also have been hurting Americans, we were heartened to hear from Walmart’s CEO that “The combination of private enterprise and government working together has been really successful.” He added, “I would like to give the administration credit for helping get the ports open 24 hours a day. All through the supply chain there has been a lot of innovation.” And the CEO of Etsy, Josh Silverman, which represents over 5 million small businesses, offers a similarly rosy perspective: “This holiday season, we believe that Etsy sellers are well-positioned to meet customer demand. Our survey data says they are less concerned about supply chain challenges this year than they were last year.”
Hopefully, inflation can be reined in and the Build Back Better plan will get through the Senate relatively intact so that we can experience the very real, positive effects on the American economy.
Three dead after shooting in Nashville
In the meantime, this Thanksgiving we are paying attention to how remarkable it is that in less than a year in office, President Biden has overseen three tremendous pieces of legislation to benefit average Americans. With all three legs of the stool together, we are looking at the potential for a truly seminal presidency to transform the fundamentals of American society. How exciting!

PATHETIC: Biden On Waukesha Tragedy: ‘We Don’t Have All The Facts And Details Yet’ But He Sure Could Judge Kyle Rittenhouse, Couldn’t He?
The pathetic excuse of a presidency continued this week as President Joe Biden refused to make comments on the massacre in Waukesha, Wisconsin at a Christmas parade where a radical domestic terrorist drove through the parade and mowed down more than 40 innocent people, killing at least six.
Multiple individuals are in ICU units and Critical Care Units, in a monstrous act that saw a radical and deliberate attack on a Christmas parade.
President Biden offered his remarks, in which he stated that “we don’t have all the facts and details yet,” and added, “My administration is monitoring the situation very closely.”
Biden offered his comments before he spoke of renominating Jerome Powell to lead the Federal Reserve as chairman for a second consecutive term.
Biden stated:
Before I begin, I want to comment on the tragedy that occurred last night during the holiday parade in Wisconsin. While we don’t have all the facts and details yet, we know this morning that five families in Waukesha are facing fresh grief, a life without a loved one. At least 40 Americans are suffering from injuries, some of them in critical condition, and an entire community is struggling, struggling to cope with the horrific act of violence. Last night, people of Waukesha were gathered to celebrate the start of a season of hope and togetherness and thanksgiving.
This morning, Jill and I and the entire Biden family, and I’m sure all of us pray that that same spirit is going to embrace and lift up all the victims of this tragedy, bringing comfort to those recovering from injuries and wrapping the families of those who died in the support of their community. We’re all grateful for the extraordinary work from first responders from law enforcement to emergency room doctors who are working around the clock to deal with the terrible consequences of what happened last night. My administration is monitoring the situation very closely.
Biden spoke of not having “All the facts and details yet.”
Strange, he had no problem calling Kyle Rittenhouse who’s now acquitted for defending himself against pedophile felons, a White Supremacist before the jury was finished deliberating. It seems that the narrative is clear, and divide and conquer is the mission of the Democratic Party under Biden’s leadership.
But later, on the same day, Biden vented that he was “angry and concerned” as The Daily Wire reported:
“While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken,” Biden said in a statement. “I ran on a promise to bring Americans together, because I believe that what unites us is far greater than what divides us. I know that we’re not going to heal our country’s wounds overnight, but I remain steadfast in my commitment to do everything in my power to ensure that every American is treated equally, with fairness and dignity, under the law.”

By rabbit-holing the story the MSM is implicitly stating that the level of collateral damage from the massacre is acceptable in pursuit of the democrat political agenda.
That they would so quickly bury this tells you all you need to know.

You can't make this crap up.
I remember when Jimmy Wales was a libertarian.
One argument the wikileftists make here is silly: the article is a “synthesis” and therefore biased. By this reasoning most history, indeed most intellectual endeavor, would be deleted as “biased” “synthesis.”
Historians have widely recognized a horrible phenomenon—mass murders perpetrated by Communist regimes.
Are Communist scholars ready to dispute this? Of course they are. They’re liars, not really different from Holocaust deniers, so they have no compunctions.

- Biden announces South Africa travel ban, citing Fauci's advice from this morning

So hilarious that "Omicron" has the exact same letters as "Moronic".
that's called an anagram.
In other words this is the Biden variant
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
It might not be as dangerous than before.
A new variant of the coronavirus that causes covid-19 is raising concern around the globe.
South Africa on Thursday confirmed that scientists there had detected a variant with a high number of mutations that could make it more easily transmissible. On Friday, the World Health Organization labeled it a “variant of concern,” a classification it has given to only four other variants so far. The global health agency also gave it a Greek letter designation: omicron.
Several countries, including the United States, moved to curb flights on Friday and Saturday from southern Africa, while pharmaceutical makers vowed to keep close watch on how well their vaccines hold up against the new variant.
Thus far, there is too little research to draw conclusions, with experts urging caution but not panic.
“This is the most concerning variant we’ve seen since delta,” Eric Topol, director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, said in an interview Friday. “It’s going to take a really high bar for something to take over for delta, and we don’t know whether this is going to do it.”

In a series of tweets on Saturday morning of dubious scientific value, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) urged her followers to sue doctors to force them to prescribe ivermectin -- a deworming paste -- for the treatment of Covid-19 and to also file a wrongful death suit if a family member was denied and passed away.
According to the Georgia Republican -- who helped run a family construction business before being elected to the House -- ivermectin is used in Africa --which she believes has lower Covid death rates -- and therefore should be used in the U.S. instead of CDC-approved vaccines.
In her 7-part tweet rant, she declared, "Africans have safely taken Ivermectin for decades and many clinical trials have proven Ivermectin to be a very effective safe & cheap treatment against #Covid," before adding, "Any doctor refusing to prescribe Ivermectin for Covid is participating in politics that is killing people."

In the last day or so, I counted almost a dozen comments such as this, Roger.
You actually believe that the deep staters are in control of the media and every single Democrat and are hiding the fact that the President of the United States is a severely demented person. Watching you fade away has been difficult to watch.
Now clearly here Roger... the growing Majority of Americans (according to every poll) believes that Biden is not up to the job from a cognitive manner. You happen to be in the shrinking minority of people who believe that Biden is a great President who is doing great things.
But that is really inconsequential. It would be one thing if you were just calling a majority of Americans as all "fading away" because they have no confidence...
The thing here is that I was nowhere around and the post you commented on had nothing to do with Biden being demented. You just came in from left field here and threw this crazy allocation out.
More to the point... this was one of about a half dozen comments where you attack me for a variety of reasons that have nothing to do with anything I had written (in most cases I am not even engaged in the comment thread) and just are pulled out of your ass.
Over and over Roger...
Think about it.
Both CHT and myself have asked Roger to "think".
Let's see how he does .

Roger , are you still holding fast to these two opinions that you posted.
1, Higher wages are not inflationary
2, The "only" way to reduce inflation "rates" is to unclog the West coast ports.

Ahhh... so you don't feel that someone like me or the majority of Americans can actually garner an opinion on the President based on what we see.
You just somehow believe that the only reason that anyone would take issues with the President's performance would be due to Media gaslighting?
But on the flipside... You are just so smart and immune from what the media tells you that you can make up your mind independently based on your genius level IQ, huh?
Is that your argument?
Biden’s Presidency Rides on the Pandemic
November 27, 2021 at 11:27 am EST By Taegan Goddard 99 Comments
Playbook: “In a real sense, Biden’s presidency rises and falls on the waves of the coronavirus. The Delta wave in August precipitated a lasting fall in Biden’s political popularity and job-approval numbers — which sets up Omicron as yet another major test for the White House. That reality — plus the economic jitters rattling an already-uneasy economy — could have the makings of a storm for the president.”
__________
MY COMMENT:
Contrast what Biden is doing and saying with the preposterous and lying earlier statements of Trump.
True, both Biden AND Trump thought and said we had "turned the corner" on the virus before we had.
Trump said it when it was not even beginning to appear true;
Biden said it when it appeared to be happening-- but then the Delta variant hit.
Americans should be able to decide -- correctly I think -- which of the two men was most principled, better informed, trustworthy and truthful concerning Covid-19 and its variants.
What We Still Don’t Know About the Omicron Variant
November 27, 2021 at 11:22 am EST By Taegan Goddard 52 Comments
Associated Press: “Scientists know that omicron is genetically distinct from previous variants including the beta and delta variants, but do not know if these genetic changes make it any more transmissible or dangerous. So far, there is no indication the variant causes more severe disease.
“It will likely take weeks to sort out if omicron is more infectious and if vaccines are still effective against it."
Katelyn Jetelina:
“It will take weeks to understand what these new mutations mean or, more importantly, the combination of so many mutations. Keep in mind that the number of mutations does NOT always equal more severe. … There’s still so much that we don’t know but what we do know is incredibly concerning.”

"Ahhh... so you don't feel that someone like me or the majority of Americans can actually garner an opinion on the President based on what we see."CHT
Perfectly put.
Great news
Study leader Alexis Demonbreun, a cell biologist at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, said the data demonstrate that no matter how well protected a vaccinated person may think she is, getting a booster shot is likely to increase her neutralizing antibodies — and with it, her immunity — considerably. And because scientists expect large antibody responses to create more durable immunity, the protection afforded by the booster should last longer than the initial two-shot regimen did.

He doesn't believe the big lie
Roger...
The people responsible for the Russian collusion lie are actually openly admitting that it was Russian disinformation bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign.
Yesterday you argued that it was still true?
Why?
Because a journalist wrote an article (which you copied and pasted here multiple times).
Isn't that you having your opinion shaped by a journalist writing something, rather than the actual facts as they have been provided for all of us?
You lose credibility every time you use the term "Big Lie" - because that is a media driven narrative expression. Something you claim you never fall for even as you are proving that you do!
You literally believed the leaked story about the Maricopa audit and never read the audit yourself. You refused to watch the video evidence of ballot evidence being destroyed in Pennsylvania, simply because the media tells you it is a "big lie". You have ignored the actual audits reported in Georgia where it is PROVEN that they sent different numbers to the SOS than they actually counted. Again, you continue to ignore real live evidence because the media tells you that it is a "big lie".
Either that, or you are not capable of looking at it independently of what an opinion writer tells you to think about something.
"Big lie" is little more than media gaslighting. Repeat it enough by enough people and it becomes their truth. You fell hard for it and refuse to actually look at anything above and beyond that rhetoric. Then feel better if someone agrees with you.
In my case... couldn't care less who does and does not have the same opinions I have. Because I am 100% fact based and not swayed even the tiniest bit by anyone else's "opinion".

Of course I understand projection.
It explains your mind Scott.
projection squared
"brilliant"
ROFLMFAO !!!
Here are the facts:
Independent auditors went to Maricopa County and spent weeks, uncovering approximately 50,000 questionable ballots including at least 15,000 that are obviously illegal. They wrote a 40 page report.
Roger reads the media reports who tell him it's a big lie. He ignores the actual report.
Independent auditors go to Fulton county and provide specific examples of where Fulton reported a different batch count to the Secretary of State office than they actually counted. In some cases reporting hundreds of votes for Biden, but none for Trump. Also showing examples of where Trump votes were reported as Jogreson votes.
Roger ignores it.... listens to the media tell him it is a big lie.
Whistleblower from Pennsylvania comes forward with claims of fraud and video evidence of poll workers destroying ballot information that by law is required to be kept.
Roger ignores it... listens to the media tell him it's a big lie.
The tells everyone that it's other people who get gaslighted by the media. As if auditors and the whistleblower video is the "media" and opinions are the factual truth.
Oh...
and then everyone is supposed to act like it's a big deal that Never-Trumper Chris Christie is on board with the "Big Lie" argument.
Because Roger literally expects minds to be changed if someone like Christie as an opinion? What kind of fucking idiot would think that anyone would care what Christie thinks?
I mean seriously....
Can Roger make it anymore obvious that he doesn't think for himself and expects everyone else is the same way?
